if you use the quick reply box there's no option. if you hit 'reply to private message' there's a tick box under additional options that will save a copy to your sent items folder. It defaults to being unchecked though - I suspect to save on storage space

They're ALL on the LC website now. I went back and updated all of mine a week back. They're the correct ratio too, 600x600 so there's no gaps like there were on some stuff released in 2011-12

Is this confirmed? Last I heard JMS had pitched the idea and wanted to do a reboot but that's all it was - an idea.

Loved B5. Really admired what JMS achieved in terms of plotting. But blimey, at times his dialogue was worse than last Xmas's panto at my daughter's school (apart from my daughter's dialogue which was delivered with aplomb, obviously) and goodness me, JMS could come across as bit of a pompous a*s at times. Haven't started Sense8, but hope that all the characters in all of the countries, don't speak with the same folksy New York voice all the B5 characters did.

I was at the convention in Blackpool in 1996 where his notes for season 5 were thrown away by some overzealous cleaners, he was not best pleased! He also exhorted us not to eat the burgers at the BBQ because he had requested 100% ground beef and they weren't quite up to his specifications.

If I ever meet him, I'll offer him a soya burger and tell him his dialogue needs work. I'm sure he'll take it as a bit of fun. I can't shake the feeling Season 5 of B5 was now constructed out of his taped together bits of notes, fished out of a bin in Blackpool - certainly explains Season 5...

What a shame. I just picked up a dodgy 1970s movie on DVD that he was in - not that I knew it at the time - and he's appeared in some great franchises (not including LOTR which is shit!, despite 7's appearances). He was great in Jimmy B0nd, St@r W@rs and the H0rr0r stuff!

Agreed! That li'l trailer they cooked up was a real gem! My only worry about buying it is how regrettable the last NewAdv. boxed set was. I felt Benny's character was off, as the scripts were not so good and worked against her. And Medic 7 and Ace didn't really have as much to do in it. Really, it would have been better if it was just Medic and Benny, as they don't really have any solo audio adventures together except for that one CC and "C0mpan7 of Fr13nds".

But, this new one has Sutekh and he's still being voiced by Gabriel Woolf! So, yeah, I kinda leaning toward getting it this weekend! Anyone comments or review-like thoughts would be welcome before I make my purchase.. *hint* :)

I thought the first box set had it's hiccups here and there, but there were some good character moments in there that kinda helped smooth them over. But I'm definitely wanting this one because of the return of Sutekh! "Pyramids of Mars" is one of my fave DW stories, so it's great to see the big bad of that story finally come back!

Also, I feel the need to correct you. There's another audio that has just the Medic and Benny: The audio adaptation of the novel "The H!gh3st Sc!3nc3" was just the pair of them, too.

I am going to be honest, it could be horrible and I would still be happy with it due to who the villain is.

I'll let someone else explain the procedure on uploads, but for requests try to make it coded without saying the actual title. For example, we refer to the Companion Chronicles range as the "Medic's Friends" range. Or we have a code for specific Doctors, like "the scarfed Medic" for the Fourth Doctor Tom Baker.

Most posters try to keep the coded names straightforward such as Medic 6 Brief Journey for the recent short story release. Bloke's 6+1 for our favorite rebels (just do the math and replace the "o" with an "a"). LC is for Large Conclusion. That's the most common one you'll run into here. Any titles of individual stories or companies are coded, but we try to use synonyms to keep the puzzle solving to a minimum. Others use the number in the release. Wikipedia has a list of the releases as a number. They're a good reference.

I know this seems like much, but it's the way we keep johnny law off our back.

No, but the story explains why Caroline Morris isn't doing the voice. Erimem, from the future (they keep details vague), possesses a fortune teller in Greece and uses her body to communicate with the other characters in the story (it doesn't sound as hooky in the story when you listen to it). To be fair, the actress does sound a lot like Caroline Morris. Since the story is written by the man who created her, Erimem's dialogue and actions comes across clearly as Erimem from the LC stories.

The story is about 43 minutes long and for two dollars it was entertaining and a nice return of an old friend.

And yes, she does make a sly reference to the Medic.

And some, like "Gaderene", haven't even been posted here yet; much less the one released before it (aka the sphericalheads), which I've been waiting and hoping for. Not trying to come across as mean, I'm just saying that it's a big and rather random list of things that dont seem to have any connection to one another, besides the fact that you're looking for them for free. Fair point, I figured it was best to post everything and see what was available; I'm not expecting everything to be posted. I've spent like a hundred on Big Finish already this year, and a bit on BBC Audio too, so anything not available I'll hunt down at some point. It just helps me to focus down on what to purchase so I'm not just buying audiobooks month in and month out. Still support official film/DVD/Blu-Ray releases as well.

I'll split the post into paragraphs to make it a bit more focused.

I'm prepared to accept that this is as good a quality as kams get. That doesn't actually make it good. While I saw the movie three times in cinemas, kam just... doesn't work. There's some element missing, and I don't just mean technical quality. It'll be a long 6 months until this comes out on DVD.

Agreed. To really enjoy a film you have to watch it legitimately, whether on Netflix or Blu-Ray or at the cinema, otherwise it just falls flat with the quality. I know friends who have watched films recorded off a screen and I don't understand how they do it. I thought home media releases were shorter than 6 months nowadays?

You can apparently still go to the page via the provided rwq. But if you look at the recent list, or if you try to search there for either that or "last of G", you'll notice that they were taken down. So that probably has a something to do with the fact that many of us got stuck at 56%. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

We haven't seen a number of people for a while - Sashabot, Foe from the Future. How are they? Are they okay? Does anybody know where they are?

We miss you guys.

Redskutter - those weren't the ones I was missing. Tweek is sooooo good. My fav quick fall of all time.

Also - as a sidenote to those of you who recently obtained Sphereheds: The files are not tagged with track numbers. Listing them by name will put the continued parts BEFORE the first parts. Example- "chapter 2 cont'd" will be listed before "chapter 2". So be careful not to listen to these out of order. To solve this I edited the tags of my files to include track numbers. (You'll notice my ch11&12 are already tagged as tracks 17 of 18 & 18/18). Hope this helps.

Lastly - if anyone wants to reupload those quickfalls to a better place, that sure would be appreciated. Even SS is way better than "gator" or "uploaded". Currently will take almost 5 hours for me to get all 4 parts on my high speed connection.
