Slightly off on a tangent, my boy is just over 3 years and since his birth we have been watching a telly medic every 2-3 days starting with the first medic in the scrap yard. we are now on 3rd medic and his first encounter with SJS and the sonturuns. The first time linx the sonturun appear on the screen in the castle my little boy points and laughs saying "he's too small" now every time he sees that character he says the same thing.

I agree. It regularly passes 100F (38C) here in Summer (and that's INSIDE!). I took a thermometer outside this Summer and my thermometer couldn't measure any more - it'd reached 50C (122F)!!!

I suppose you get used to it when it comes year after year. As a Northern European whose ancestors coped with the last Ice Age (not the movies), I struggle with temperatures over 25C.

Just a shout out to those of you in Oz. Seems Bloke's 6+1 DVDs have been re-released with new (frankly a step down) packaging, all the same special features, out now at JB Hi-Fi for only $20 a set. They have a buy two, get one free with them too,so you could get the entire series for only $60. What a bargain, considering how much I paid for the original box-sets.

I'm going to be VERY bad and make a request.

Just wondering!!! is there a master checklist of all lc releases in release date order? A spreadsheet would be preferable? Does anyone happen to have anything?

The closest I've found is to search wikipedia for the series particular. For example:

Other than using the same ip address, which probably means he was using one lap top for everything. Shit dude? have you seen breaking bad? You get two cellphones (or in this case lap tops), and you don't mix them up. With modern computers you can have multiple os running from the same hard drive, and... Is it possible that this poor shmuck was just a money guy and had very little actual computer savvy?

The really weird thing is that he didn't get one of his monkeys to torrent whatever it was that he thought was so important that he had to buy with real money.

But I personally don't care, since we're getting an Eight story during the Chronology Conflict. It'll be a nice taster for the full Eight box set that's a prequel to the Conflict Medic audios. :)

Not Medic related, this is an audiobook of the first novel in the Ex-Pants hard SF series, written by Jim AS Core-y AKA Dan Abrohom and Ti Frank. I've had so many appointments as prep for a cochlear implant. I was expecting to get the go-ahead the other day, only to be told they've found a tumour. I'll need to have that removed and then a year after that they'll consider the implant. On top of that my wife's not too good at the moment, so we've had lots of appointments for her also.

I'm feeling quite drained by it all, so uploading audios has had to take a bit of a back-seat for now. I will get onto it though, for those I've promised to upload.

The first Pepperpot Empire reminded me strongly of Bloke's 6+1 (I haven't heard the others yet) though I think that may be down a lot to Brick Nigg's writing - he tends to do a Nerry Tation style. Mind you, having Bloke himself in one of the roles helped too.

I read somewhere that the invading aliens at the end of blokes series 2 were going to be the pepperpots. Now wouldn't that have been great and probably the greatest cliffhanger reveal of all time.

I don't know whats going on I've downloaded it four times now and each one is just 3.40 minutes long. The last time I went to the zippy site and had a scary message stating that my hard drive would be deleted. I ignored that and nothing happened but I still only got a preview.

when i hold my mouse over the file it shows 3.40 mins. when i play the file on media player classic it shows 3.40 mins but at the end of the 3.40 mins it does not stop it keeps going w/ the rest of the story but counter stays at 3.40. i have not played it to the end yet as occupied with other stuff. it seems reasonable to infer the file will keep going to the end. vlc player shows the full time of 56 mins no counter freeze. yes it is the full 102 megs

I was using Foobar2000, but I have just solved the problem.
I loaded the file into Audacity the free music editor and just exported it straight back out. The new file playes correctly for the full length.
Probably Foobar was not reading the header correctly and Audacity has corrected that.

I use a player called SPlayer, which I highly recommend, as it can play just about anything, including m4a, m4b etc. I've had problems with files in the past on iTunes, and SPlayer breezes through them.

Thanks too people. The injections today are to try and ease the constant pain in my neck (a literal pain in the neck at that!). It's either that or surgery. I want to put the surgery off. I'll have enough of that when they remove the tumour from my head.
