They are all terrific, though I would rate "Living In the City" as my favorite, coming at a close second is "Super Sonic Racing", and lastly, "Can You Feel the Sunshine?".
...Having said that, in some ways Can You Feel the Sunshine? will always stand over all others, that being the first music I remember hearing from the game, and how simply classic it is.

Yep, I looked it up last night. It's on eBay, though. A little pricier than what Mondo listed it at, but it's reasonable if you really want it. I also checked Netflix last night to see if it's on there and sure enough, it is. If I don't see Don't Breathe tonight, I'll watch Turbo Kid :D

My little brother introduced me to this song the day I drove to the army base in his car and bring him home for the weekend (I'd not seen that episode yet). First time I'd seen him since he got to the base. This was the day Transformers: Age of Extinction opened. I drove up to the base (in his car), we got Popeye's for dinner, drove down to Syracuse to see T4 at the Destiny USA Mall, then drove straight home from there and we spent the night in the new house. The next day he helped the family move. And then he drove his car back to base and that was that. So now whenever I hear the song I think of him and that day. It's also in my "summer" playlist :D

It's not something I'd listen to on a daily basis. That particular track is a little too much for me on most occasions. I'd listen to a track more like Argent Facility Combat, which has a nice background melody and rough bass rather than 100% heavy dubstep metal.

For me, MI:3 & 4 are my favorites. Three's Phillip Seymour Hoffman has been the series best villain so far and Four had the right mix of plot, action and characters. Five's villain started strong but all failed to deliver at the end and the movie became the Tom Cruise Stunt Show Spectacular. (Although the opera house action sequence was impeccable.)

III really only has Phillip Seymour Hoffman going for it, as for being J.J's first film, it's honestly quite unremarkable.
Ghost Protocal definitely is the most well rounded of the bunch. It's the one that people will get most enjoyment out of.

It's really more the first two films that have varied reactions. The first, as we mentioned, is considered to have too involved of a plot. The second is ultimately decided as an insanely exaggerated version of James Bond that is cartoonish and too much of a departure from the first. That doesn't stop me from viewing it's merits though.
3 was when people started really liking the M:I films. 4 is the most universlly loved of the whole bunch, with 5 following close behind. I don't care for them as much, but I do acknowledge their merits.
6 is indeed in the works. They're bringing back the director from 5, which is honestly disappointing. They would be breaking tradition of having different directors every time by bring back the least interesting one. Give me Palma, Woo, or Bird.

I honestly do think they should release Woo's Director's Cut, since there was a lot of material removed from what I hear. It would help it make it a better received film for people so that it's acknowledged somewhat better.

It's not something I'd listen to on a daily basis. That particular track is a little too much for me on most occasions. I'd listen to a track more like Argent Facility Combat, which has a nice background melody and rough bass rather than 100% heavy dubstep metal.
I've been listening to DOOM soundtrack a while now. I ragequit the game earlier because I died on the penultimate level playing Ultra-Nightmare.
Oh, it's definitely something I'd listen to on a daily basis. I'm not now, but got really into this heavier sort of what-the-fucking-shit-it's-pierced-my-skull music around May or so. I began to really appreciate it more than I ever have, and started listening to Mick Gordon's scores to Killer Instinct and Wolfenstein: The New Order a large amount. The latter much more than the former, one of my favorite tracks from The New Order is "Herr Faust (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daKwkQBREj4)". I think it's fun, I know it's hard and in-your-face and that's one of the reasons I enjoy listening to it. Why else do you think I liked those Mad Max: Fury Road tracks so well? :p
Also, from what source are you listening to it? I've Max and Skelly's version.

That's just absurd, they're too good to not have been included in any sort of compilation. I feel as if they're disregarded a bit; Had I not been browsing and come across the Lion of the Desert / The Message set, I'd have never heard of it. I was fortunate to discover it, when I saw the words "Maurice Jarre" and "Desert", I was interested. Also be part of the cause of interest, was that I had heard Lawrence of Arabia's score back in February, shortly following a review I had recently read of Beltrami's Gods of Egypt, whereas Lawrence of Arabia was mentioned, along with The Mummy and Stargate, noted were their similarities to Gods of Egypt's score, in which it along with many other scores aforementioned and unmentioned comprising to make up the typical Mediterranean styled score.
Sorry, I strayed a bit off course, but I'm very glad that I discovered these two scores. I think they are masterpieces of Jarre's, and I hold them in as high a regard as Lawrence of Arabia's score. A lot of it has to do with how I'm very fond of Mediterranean or middle eastern/Egyptian music, (exemplary would be all of the aforementioned, this (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2wHa3Oncd4), this (
https://youtu.be/f7HrfXJJcZ0?t=10s), this (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn8lUK7lCNM), this (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QC_IffOCqQU&list=PLqcGvP7TBm_kKu9nMojeCtggvq8iE_cSn&index=5) etc), and in addition, some of those sort of melodies are even used for music that doesn't represent any sort of desert setting, I could list many more that I consider in that category (like this (
http://66.90.94.162/ost/rebuild-of-evangelion-evangelion-1.0-you-are-not-alone-original-soundtrack/xtmsblsnli/18-the-longest-day-iii.mp3)), but I hope you get what I mean.
I also found it very interesting how much time Jarre spent learning about and immersed in the Islamic culture and history to compose the score to The Message, and to represent their 'struggle'. That is dedication.

I'm with HunterTech. MI2 is the worst in the series for obvious reasons, the meta dialogue only being the tip of the iceberg here... Remember this one?
"Mr. Hunt, this isn't mission difficult, it's mission impossible. "Difficult" should be a walk in the park for you."
M:I-2 always makes me want to shoot Hopkins. Thandie Newton is anything but remarkable either. But the music, and the cinematography... Good Lord! The slowmo shots, the door on fire, the white doves flying through, Ethan looking badass, the switch with the masks where Ambrose shoots his best mate Hugh Stamp, the airplane highjacking, ... the movie starts off dull as fuark (minus the airplane bit), but once Hunt knows who he's up against and he's going after Ambrose, the fun never ends. Academy Award? Who cares?! THE FLICK IS FUN!! :)
P.S.: Thanks for the cover, Mr Gold. I prefer it over the one I had.

(
http://imgur.com/xb7rT7p)
P.S.S.: Work on this film mix I wanted to do stalled, but it's still in the back of my head. Although I'm not really sure it's an actual necessity? The complete score that ostgems or scorepranos (can't remember) posted was pretty much film mix as is? I've watched the film again not too long ago and I don't think a lot -if anything- needs to be done?

As I mentioned in a post on the previous page, I greatly enjoy a lot of (southern?) Mediterranean styled music (there is at least one sort I'm not that fond of), Prince of Persia (especially Sands of Time and The Two Thrones) was something that fell into the category, so it clicked with me almost instantly.
Below are some tracks from Sands of Time I like most, though I'm unintentionally neglecting some, sorry, I'm not entirely familiar with it yet. :p

I only wish I could be hearing it better but the earpads I bought aren't really the best, and bad earpads do prevent you from having a good listen.

I was listening to Minor Earth | Major Sky earlier.
It's definitely not in the top 3 of a-ha's albums, but top 5 definitely. It was such an enjoyable album. So many songs I like better now that picking the first four songs on the next compilation will be difficult.

Thought he would.
:p The track I was listening to is also one of my favorite cues of the score, the End Title is very good as well.

 I have a Twitter and Facebook account, but only use them once and a blue moon. Vine is something I spend a lot of time looking at - be the above video a good example and / or basis for it. It's Vine and FFShrine that are basically my 'social media platforms'. :p

Since I view most social media platforms as anti-social I stay far, far, away. (Twitter seems to have devolved into a 'hater platform' populated by knuckle draggers who failed English 101 while Facebook is home to the "I Love Me" generation.)
