No sir, it is not. It's the soundtrack to the documentary (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3970482/) that was released in September chronicling his 3-year tour from 2010 to 2013. I went to the second showing at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, November 6th, 2010. It was incredible. Seeing the film was like being at the concert again.

The CD released today, and the Blu-ray and 3-disc LP release in 2 weeks on December 4th. Christmas is gonna be good this year :D

Maurice Jarre - Interior Student Cafe (Outtake)

This brings me so many memories! I'll explain the little story - this song is known here in Spain because of a very old christmas lotery ad that ran for many years, from 1998 to 2005, go figure. There's a christmas lottery ad every year. And this is one I remember very much from my childhood, because the ad is so pretty and the music's so pretty also and fitting. When I was a kid and listened to the song and ad in TV, it meant, that the Christmas time was coming! And honestly Christmas was so enjoyable when you are a child!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QVLKAGY4mc

In 2012, a very expensive but also well done ad was done this year that was about the San Indelfonso kids (the kids who preach out the numbers of the lottery) bringing joy everywhere, going around the world, with the music of Edward Scissorhands, that was another good one:

Its Mad How Some Shows Use More Music.

Example
Scream, Had 10 Episodes, And I Ended Up Makeing 4 Discs And 73 Tracks.
Constantine & Daredevil Had 13 Episodes Each And Only About 15 Tracks Approx On 1 Disc Each.

Some Shows Rely Heavely On These Songs.

Just watched Fargo the film. Really, really good. The TV series also feels a lot like the film and is basically just as good in my opinion. It has a lot of similar characters. But with the Coen brothers on as executive producers how couldn't it be. Also listening to "Fargo, North Dakota", the main theme of the film, composed by Carter Burwell. This track is excellent and represents the feeling the movie is trying (and succeeding) to convey really well.

TheSkeletonMan939

Mostly because of its shitty story, its bastardization of the character of Shredder, the lack of focus on the turtles and instead on Megan Fox, the mistreatment of Danny Woodburn, the wealth of cut material, Mikey being a fucking creep, and the fact that it was doomed to be a shit show from the very start as evidenced by the leaked early version of the script.

I've seen Turtles Forever and thought it was pretty decent, although I need to watch it again. The crew member ducking behind is hilarious. I liked the second one also, and haven't seen the third.

I could've binged AoS when I got the Season 1 DVD set, but I don't have a huge amount of time and, like you, I prefer to eek it out a lot more. One episode a day is cool, especially when you're trying to catch up with a certain cinematic universe. Can't wait to see Age of Ultron, regardless of what people think of it. eac3to processing took 7 minutes, 3 seconds.
Done.

Although, I should re-rip it again since eac3to updated with major updates in v3.31.
Curious to see how it turns out now.

Previously, with any version of the ArcSoft decoder, it would cause "low volume" issues.
Which wasn't a consistant low volume alteration.
Instead, it warped the audio in various places that didn't make sense. It sounded very unpredictable.

But, now with libDcaDec decoding it, it sounds flawless for the opening credits.

WHICH MEANS:
I'm giong to work on the end credits again.
Starting with 7.1 movies, especially those I know that are in "strange setup".

Skeleton:
here's a couple posts about DTS channel setups and how it relates to eac3to from doom9 forum:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1715001&highlight=strange+setup#post1715001

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1714833&highlight=strange+setup#post1714833

7.1:
L,R,C,LFE,Ls ,Rs , Lsr,Rsr strange

DTS WAV Speaker Position
---- --- ---------------------
L = FL Front Left
R = FR Front Right
C = FC Front Center
LFE = LF (Low Frequency (Efects))
Lsr = BL Back Left
Rsr = BR Back Right
(Lw) = FLC Front Left of Center
(Rw) = FRC Front Right of Center
Cs = BC Back Center
Lss = SL Side Left
Rss = SR Side Right
Oh = TC TopCenter
Lh = TFL Top Front Left
Ch = TFC Top Front Center
Rh = TFR Top Front Right
Lhs = TBL Top Back Left
- = TBC Top Back Center
Rhs = TBR Top Back Right
Ls = don't exist (can be replaced by SL or BL)
Rs = don't exist (can be replaced by SR or BR)

There's a lot that goes into it. I don't really understand it all myself, but just take it from their word about these things.

According to that post, there are about 5 different "strange" ways to set up 7.1 surround sound.
They're "strange" because they are non-standard setups of the speakers for most home consumers. :noonecares:

No headphones.

But on crummy desktop speakers.

From the remastered 7.1 downmixed to stereo.

watching an encode of the movie where it uses AC3 for it, there is definitely sound change.
The original 7.1 DTS stream is much more powerful.

a 720p encode. Got a remux ready, but no idea if I like this or not.

Still don't like that Timothy Olyphant was replaced.
I guess you can throw the "007" theory on it: Agent 47 got replaced.

Hubba hubba, I forgot Zachary Quinto was in this.
Which reminds me, I really need to finish watching season 1 of "Heroes" (original series; not "reborn").

I can see this movie being "3D".
There's a shot where this chick stands in the alley and has a freak out in her mind and the camera zooms in on her.
Very nice shot if you're wearing "ChromaDepth HD" 3D glasses.

I'm just about to throw on the SVP to watch it in 48fps.

I'm actually a little excited now that I cranked up the "saturation", tweaked the "hue" to the red side by 3, and increased the "contrast" to give it more cinematic viewiing.
If you touch one, you must touch the others.
Keep balanced, yet richer(er).

ugh.
You need subtitles.
I don't mean for the scenes where you would need forced subtitles for non-English scenes.
Even as most of them speak English, their accents are so bad you need subtitles just to be sure they said what you think they said.

Even then, makes no difference.
You're really not missing out on a story here.

There's a tiny bit of story with me and that game, ever since it came out I've been seeing it everywhere over my FB and a couple of friends playing it, I've eaten a few spoilers and all, and just NOW am still debating to fully play it (I played just a bit, a tiny tiny bit.. I legally bought it yesterday) but I dunno if I can, it's great and all but it sure shatters your heart to pieces. The moral of this story is; this game's great, the fandom's slowly turning to shit and I woldn't like that because the game's seriously great; and the soundtrack is really good tooo (I got it in FLAC) and I'm gonna play it someitme, I guess.

Not necessarily.

Take a look at the works (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TT_Games) of the developer of Lego video games. They are almost all based off licensed properties. The only mildly successful one I can think of that is original is Lego City Undercover.

Knowing how much effort Giacchino puts in his scores, specially Disney, I think it'll be good, and it'll probably have a recognizable main theme (just like The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up) and all of that. Working in a cinema would probably be fun if you're the projectionist (or, more appropriately, the guy pressing buttons) or actually working with the films in some way. Not selling popcorn or cleaning up after each showing.

No, but it'd be a job and better than Walmart cashier, y'know. Any of these you mention would be lovely to work on, but I'm afraid that needs someone to get you in

It's part of the CW's attempt to create a cohesive universe, the same way the film companies are doing.

Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, etc. I think Constantine takes place in that universe too.

I need to sit down properly and watch the movie again in full. I'm actually thinking of arranging a showing here at uni - it's within my power to book out the main lecture theatre (308 seats) which has a pretty darn big projector screen and a great sound system. It was in there I first watched The Avengers in, like, my third week here.

Unless it's a torrent that's being shown, I don't see how that's illegal. If someone owns the film in some physical format, there's no law breaking going on. It's no different than me having over a bunch of friends every Sunday night to watch The Walking Dead or if I had a Harry Potter marathon.

A torrent would definitely cause problems if it was investigated about the source.

But, I think it largely depends on the state laws/bylaws and the license agreement with the university.

I'm sure there's some limitations and restrictions to the service provided.
I can't see them letting something like A Serbian Film (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Serbian_Film) to play.

I really don't think it's illegal once it's owned (could be wrong, but I really don't think it is). Now if the University was charging for it, that's a different story.

tehƧP@ƦKlyANK -Ⅲ
11-28-2015, 02:13 AM
Not necessarily.

When it comes to community centers, schools, etc, they have permits and agreements set up for those.

Over here, once a year, in one of the parks, there's a community event where they get the license to play some really old movies from bluray or film stock they have.
Last year they played E.T. for the families.
They were all G/PG rated family films.

One of my friends and their neighbour, party of the local neighbourhood community, wanted to have an outdoor theater going.
Big projector and all.
They applied for the permit and can do it. They just need someone with a decent projector.
That's like when you don't charge for those events when you get the license.
If you charge for it, you're making a profit when you're a non-legal vendor/propriator.

tehƧP@ƦKlyANK -Ⅲ

Every state/province/territory have different copyright laws, too.

I believe in the UK, it's illegal to rip your own CD to your iPod. No matter what you say or how you look at it.
Their copyright laws were written and approved differently than Canada or USA.

In Canada, there are only two places where laws would be different: Provincial and national.
Mostly all provinces share similar laws.
The only ones that really stand out differently would be Quebec (separatists).

In USA, there's millions of states. The laws for each state vary, widely.

Yeah, that's another thing that's odd.

I can go to the local library and borrow dvd's and bd's for free.
I can copy them all if I wanted to.
They can't really prove it.
There's probably a fine-print when I sign up for a card that says I agree not to pirate anything in thier collection.
