And, uh, the fact that I can't think of a really good reboot/remake off the top of my head, right now, furthers the belief that, usually, reboots/remakes are not always a good idea.
Unless they know how to do it right, of course...
I can probably say that The Italian Job was a good one.

You can't deny that to me. The turtles are damn ugly but the CGI is good.
Listening to the Undertale soundtrack. I get the chills when listening to Undertale's soundtracks, mostly because, even though I have barely played it, when I have, it was when it was as its "epitome" and honestly somehow I have good memories connected to the playing of Undertale and the listening of that music. Now thinking of talking about Undertale feels mighty cancerous. The fandom, the over exposition has seriously harmed what seemed to be a pretty good game.

I should probably watch it soon.
When it comes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I've seen the first 2 movies (1990, 91), which were stupid and / or low budget (it looked like it, at least :p) but were decent and funny.
And I've seen a good amount of the original series (1987-96), and I really liked that.
I know you really like the 4Kids series, which I don't believe I've seen any of, so I should watch that.

I think it does. At least my PAL DVD.
I'll say though, the movie has 1:78 scenes but not beause of IMAX, a disclaimer before the movie says the aspect ratio change was to make you be able to appreciate the visual effects better.
I don't like it, I'd rather have the whole movie in 2.40

NTSC DVD definitely does, too.
Yeah, it's more like "zoomed" in for IMAX screens.
None of it was filmed in IMAX:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/technical
Wiki says it was 'enhanced vertically' (aka zoomed) for the IMAX theaters.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron:_Legacy
But, I liked it the way they did for home viewings. It was a new way to watch it.
But, what they should have done was released the movie in both formats as a whole.
Disc 1 for the 2.40 and Disc 2 for the 'open matte' / zoomed version in 1.78.
Some movies have the original aspect ratio and then have different releases with open matte/zoom versions.
Jumper is one of them. Having both versions is just great.
Personally, for Jumper being a very tight action-paced flick with a shaky camera, I find the open matte really shows a lot more and gives better context of the environment. The 2.4 version can get very clausterphobic and missess plenty of details that would otherwise better establish a shot.
It always feels like a missed opportunity when studios don't work like that.
Two whole versions of Tron Legacy would have been a spectacle to watch.
Likewise, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocal would have been nicer if it had the IMAX scenes intact.
Or at least added to a bonus disc somewhere out there in untouched frames, like with The Dark Knight Ultimate Collector's Edition.

That's Not What Happened - James Newton Howard
from Marvel's: The Winter Hunstman
Second listen through. I like it.
It's more like a reboot to rid all traces of Kristen Stewart. Even though it's a prequel.
But why make a prequel instead of a sequel with a twin or even a spin off of just the Huntsman?
Because it's a commercialist world and the audience loves Thor and Furiosa more than a Twilight fangirl that turned into a homewrecker.
So a prequel allows both of the popular actors to stay in the film and milk it.
Did you think the milk scene in the first movie was by accident? :smrt:

Almost to the point where it's moot.
Some games, when you die, you just get replaced instantly.
The only time I've seen something remotely feeling like older games was watching a friend play Destiny and they all died before anyone can be revived. They had to start at the last check point which was about 10 minutes of game time lost.
Today's day and age with all the COD and other FPS action-paced games for tweens, 10 minutes of any story gameplay is just asking for the studio to get shut down.

Probably can do a "best of" for the last 3 seasons on youtube. Which ever it is they started going HD.
I still watch them but more or less... just.
I think the last Stewie & Brian adventure was even subpar compared to their earlier ones.
There's a short period where American Dad! episodes would copy previous episodes of Family Guy and then right after, the next aired episode of Family Guy would either copy older episodes of American Dad! or revisit older episodes without even acknowleding them.
There were a lot of deja vu moments that went unanswered. More infidelity with the exact same people and touching on issues of molesting someone's significant other with a kiss.
I think AD! should have stayed on FOX and let FG move to TBS.

Prometheus was supposed to be a prequel, officially from the start.
Then a spin-off. Then a sequel. Then a pre-sequel.
Then a different franchise entirely, not even related to the Alien franchise.
But now it's officially part of the Alien franshise.
So watching Alien, at least, is now quintessential to watching Prometheus.
It was good as a stand-alone, but after you watch the two, there's just too much between the two that you can't deny it having connections with Alien directly and immediately in the same universe.
Covenant, I hope will live up to Promtheus standards.
Although, Scott has a thing for taking the topic of religion to 'way outside the box' type thinking.
Prometheus focused a great deal on religion in essence.
Covenant should be fun.
Especially once they move away from the "Alien: Isolation" game posters.
Cut the confusion down entirely.

Sigh. You can be a saint, for all the fucks I give about that, fact of the matter is that the Shrine's Administration has been contacted again by the likes Varse and they're not happy there are threads advertising PM-sharing of their releases… So, yeah, if you want to help a bit with not having the forum closed, or possibly some of the admins face legal consequences, it would be best for Varse-related threads to disappear, whether they're official/bootleg/complete/DVD Rips, etcetera.
Report them, period. EDIT: There's Internet and useful links have been added the thread about the banned music/labels, you can check for yourself what's Varse and what's not.

If you want my honest opinion, guys, the situation has been handled rather stupidly both by the Staff and users; when something gets banned on this kind of boards, you are not supposed to make threads about it, at all. We shot ourselves in the foot, so to speak, with those send me PM for the link/Link received, thank you/Would like a link crap. Rather amazing the "workaround" lasted this long.

I haven't posted a single Varese score since this rule has been strongly enforced. But, however, I did send a PM to Jessie with direct links to all of my Varese threads so that he would be able to delete them easily and efficiently. I had also sent him links of other posts that were Varese as well, and he did nothing about it. Even after reporting them. So, eventually, I just gave up trying to help.

They're not saying that, and I agree with you, I am most definitely not perfect. I have a lot of flaws. I would like to think that I do not have an ego or to think that I am better than any one of you here. I wasn't trying to come off to you as a start to an argument, I was simply wondering why you are taking what they said about me out of proportion. I do not think that I am better than any one of you, and I am not. Trust me. I would like to like all of you, but that can be difficult sometimes, because we all have our moments and debacles with one another that it's impossible to have a steady relationship with someone here. People that are out of the loop on here are the one's that I tend to get along most with. Not saying that this is a bad place, but the mood changes here all the time so drastically. I can't prove you wrong, because you're right. I know I am human, sorry if I over-exaggerated this, I just wanted to have a better understanding as to why you had such strong feelings towards me out of nowhere.

Trust me. I am not perfect either. I just know I have seen you make mistakes in the past, just like I have and I was wondering why people here had you as the best person ever, really. When you've made your mistakes in the past too (and I'm not trying to say you're a bad person, I don't even remember what things you did.) But alright, you just proved yourself what I wanted to know, or why people think so good of yourself. It's all fine, don't worry about it; my comment wasn't meant for you to think I have something against you

Alright bud, no problem. No hard feelings, eh? I think that you are a good person as well. Glad we are on the same page, I hate arguing! Haha.

That was a good read. Too right.
None of us are perfect, and we all have our flaws.

Blu-ray player is on the very bottom. PS2 on top of it, FiOS on top of that, N64 next to it all. Keeping my 3D Blu-rays upright :p

Kind of like an electronic Oreo, with a creamy PS2 filling.

May 10th, 1940 (Main Theme) - Michael Giacchino - Medal of Honor: Underground Original Soundtrack.
What is it about this track that has alway reminded me of Ratatouille? Especially 1:02 - 1:10, and 3:24 - 3:53.
It's weird, because, the sort of main theme of, and a big part of Medal of Honor: Underground takes place in France, so does Ratatouille.
Michael Giacchino composed the score to Underground, as he did Ratatouille.
Am I the only one who feels this way? It makes me wonder if he's stuck the cue somewhere in the film...
