I cannot possibly eat a Pizza that is overloaded with meat. Please, save some room for the cheese. Then put a couple of pieces of meat on, two or three types, maybe some spices, go ahead.
But make sure that you haven't put so much meat on that the base may snap.

I had to return to the 3:11 mark on "I AM NOT A MORON!" about a hundred times. That scene is one of the best scenes I have ever seen in video games, ever.
"CAN A MORON PUSH. YOU. INTO. THIS. PIT? HUH? CAN A MORON DO THAT?"Sorry. I do get a little excited when I am able to talk about my favourite video games with people... :)
Wheatley has his Moments, but every single Line of GLaDOS is pure Gold, one of the greatest VideoGame Villains ever.
That jumpsuit you're wearing looks stupid. That's not me talking, it's right here in your file. On other people it looks fine, but right here a scientist has noted that on you it looks "stupid". Well, what does a neck-bearded old engineer know about fashion? He probably Oh, wait. It's a she. Still, what does she know? Oh wait, it says she has a medical degree. In fashion! From France!
Not to mention Cave Johnson :D

You'll be sorry. Neill Blomkamp's worst film. District 9 was a knockout, CHAPPiE was "good, not great". But that awful film you're about to waste your time on....I feel ya, man.
...and the credits are rolling on Elysium.
Come on, it wasn't that bad. As my first Blomkamp, I actually quite enjoyed it. What exactly do you think is wrong/bad about it?

Everything. It just sucked. It tried too hard to be another D9. And also, Matt Damon. I hate that man with all my heart. I'm so torn on seeing The Martian because of him. Pretty sure I've gone off about him before. Same as I have with Batffleck and Clooney. I hate the three of them with a passion.

Nah. Between the three, CHAPPiE is most definitely the worst. For all its silent politics and evocation of humanity, it's one of the emptiest movies I've ever had to sit through. TRON:Legacy had more real ideas and emotion. Elysium is almost there though in terms of making a movie from banalities that are both over-politicized and over-saturated (yes, over-saturated; the redundancy is necessary to describe how poor Blomkamp's gimmick-reliant and generic stories are becoming). In truth, not even D9 was that great. I'm in awe at people who will call it a millenial masterpiece. It was modestly thought- and sentiment-provoking with engaging action flow but it was far from a great film.
I don't understand the hate for Damon though. He's a terrific, dedicated actor and an apparently wonderful human being (water.org). He's delivered enough solid performances to merit not being judged on the basis of Elysium and similar movies.
ANYWAY...

Die Antwoord combined with massive amounts of cocaine is the main reason why people watched Chappie.
It would have been a better movie if there was normal people in it fighting over normal A.I.
Even Jackman was overthetop with his anti-AI machoism.

Thank Jason, he made it for me. After finally having seen the film Thursday night, this image suits the OST cover much better. To me it does, anyway. I like the original with the demon's mouth, but it isn't significant to me. It has nothing to do with the film's title.
I also kinda liked the film, which I was surprised by. I was expecting another Only God Forgives, and thank the Lord it was not. I understood it, it had a simple plot, I cared for the characters and felt emotion (especially for Rat, Saoirse Ronan was terrific in it), I cared for the characters. And of course, the soundtrack. But the OST is way the hell out of order. I may attempt a film edit (or at least film order at some point). I'm willing to bet it was Johnny's idea to put "Tell Me" first, because it belongs right at the start.
I keep seeing the album teased on the store and Instagram. He's calling it a "storybook". I keep meaning to message him (I've talked to him briefly back and forth a few times) and ask for the details on it, as well as Dear Tommy.

Danke Jason. It's a far better cover than the original.
The main flaw with Only God Forgives, whence comes everything else nearly everyone hated about the film, was its surrealism or failed grasp of it. Refn managed to stylize a Lynchian nightmare. Truthfully I didn't believe it would've even been that poor of an impression had he been able to either justify his gory excesses with weight of some sort, or alternatively shown greater restraint, and made something more of beautiful but disjointed visual imagery which was intended to carry his story. I didn't hate it as much as I was at times disappointed, at times in awe at the kind of ambition I imagine moved behind the movie camera.

1.) It's a British film and opens over there first so you have the advantage over mostly everyone else ;)
2.) Disco pretty much died in the 70's (it carried over just a little bit in the very early 80's), the 80's was all about that Nu Wave :p

Very nice score. Very Scott-Williams-y.
Not sci-fi like Aliens or Prometheus, though.
More sci-fi like Clint Mansell's Moon.
Some obvious devices we've heard previously in Prometheus, however.
I think I'll rewatch Prometheus tonight.

I think they're getting closely tied in with the actual Alien franchise now, more than originally intended when they kept rewriting and changing their minds about Prometheus.

I love the way he thinks. So witty and he has the charm for it.
Breaking the fourth wall was a clever device for the series.
Opening scene where he puts the dog out of its misery was clear enough indication that he was going to be killing off people.
But I was expecting Peter to get killed off a lot sooner!
In all hoensty, I think it's his wife that's orchestrating all his failures so that opportunities open up for him to get to Vice Presidency.

Yes, I Plan On Watching More Later. Season 3 Is Ment to Be Excellent
Season One was phenomenal. Season Two, less so and it takes a nose dive in the last couple of episodes setting up a nonsensical ending. Season Three, even less; it was outright horrific. Season Four I have no interest in following. Good acting can no longer save this show and it was "good" acting just for the first season alone - it's now become a gimmick.
^ That's pretty much the universal response to it. No idea how you got that STwo was meant to be excellent. Expectations were set quite low after the way Season Two ended.

O_O one of the episodes of House of Cards opens up with kinky bisexual play.
Fifty Shades of Grey would never have the balls to pull this off.

What are the new scenes?
To answer your question, the first new scene was a little clip of Dean and Annie... He's sitting in the diner for the 2nd time, she gives him coffee, and have a little discussion about Hogarth. Then, he's told to come outside by the fisherman. Which brings into why the guy is selling his automobile.
The second scene, and by far the best one of all, is "Robot Dreams" which gives us a backstory on where the giant came from.

:eye: I'm going to have to catch up on SH. I didn't get that far when it first started. So many new shows at the time.
Watching:
Fear The Walking Dead s01e05: "Cobalt"
It's got its ups and downs.
I'm waiting for the web-series to do it's airplane attack.
Compare it to WWZ (movie; not read the book).
Speaking of WWZ, I hear the book is miles better than the movie.
If any movie butchered the source (worse than The Hobbit), it would be WWZ.
But as I've seen only the movie and not read the book, I think the movie was a pretty good movie as a stand-alone with no point of reference.
It's the same with the movie musical "Into The Woods".
Opening day, the film sold more tickets for the Silverscreen than the Broadway versions sold in an entire month.
Proof that everyone will go to a film over the source.
Hunger Games, Twilight, LOTR, Hobbit... even though they made millions from book sales, it's because of book people why they got turned into a movie for people like me.
The movie for World War Z was refreshing.
Fast zombies is nothing new for cinematic experience.
Slow zombies don't cut it. That's why they're only TV nowadays.
I really want to the book to get a more immersive environment.
I just love the whole environment and setting to AMC's The Walking Dead.
I would love an open sandbox game for The Walking Dead.
I think all the Telltale games are very linear. Maybe.
Take GTA V and make a zombie mod.
"Breakout" mod or something.
One zombie you encounter but are inclined to runaway (programmatically or with a cinematic).
Then that zombie infects another.
The longer you play, the more people start to disappear (due to staying in for getting sick/bit).
And then at some point, you start to see more zombies around the whole map.
And at a very later point, there's no real safe place as they swarm the streets.
That would be awesome.
Very progressive.
Most zombie games today start in the middle with a lot of zombies out there already.
DayZ has a nice atmosphere and environment. But way too online with people treating it like it's Call of Duty. :/

I hear the same for Stephen King's "Under the Dome" season 3: Total WTF.
I didn't watch all of season 1&2, but I watched all of season 3.
I started right where it was getting into the real Stephen King everyone knows.
It was okay. Nothing great.
You didn't fall in love with any of the characters. Anyone died, no big deal.
Seems like season 1 and 2 capitalized on that "survival" storyline like The Walking Dead.
Food, water, and community.
No walkers, though. No real threat, except the community.
I can see it getting picked up by Netflix for following seasons.
But if it doesn't, had a good watch going through season 3 where it mattered most.

Pretty good movie. Pretty good.
Yeah, in many ways it's an amazing film. The unpleasantness and violence isn't my cup of tea at all, but that's what Mad Max is all about, so I don't hold that against it. From a filmmaker's perspective, it's an incredible achievement.

Look for ones with original voice track.
They have thick Australian accents, for the US release, they had to dub the movie with American accents.
Miller says all 4 are different stories themselves, not really sequels to anything.

TBH i didn't find Fury Road that gorey at all, nothing really springs to mind except that scene with Furiosa and Imogen Joe at the end, and that was very brief
It came to German cinemas uncut and with a 16+ Rating, which is a bit below the R rating it recieved in America and surprised me to no end.
Apocalypse Imagery on the other Hand it does have in Spades, yes.

"Violin Tay" definitely beats that tramp, Stirling.
MM:FR is not at all that gory. It's all CG.
Well done. But it really shows how well Miller has adapted to the times.
The first 2 movies show a huge difference in special effects.
1+2+3 = Christopher Nolan special effects. Very practical, and very much before the laws changed for special effects.
Hmmm. I wonder.
Ausstralia sfx vs. USA sfx during those times.
MM:FR has nothing on the older films.
I watched all of them, but none of them has disturbed more than the first one.
I'm older, so old films with grain and ancient technology still speak to me. It's easy for me to place myself in that time period and empathize.
The first one truly sets the atmosphere you are facing with the franchise.
Think of it as online gaming with a single person who hates you. Unrelentless trolling and best efforts to make you ragequit.
Toecutter was a formidable foe. Probably even moreso than Immortan Joe, as Joe had to reach out to different factions for the hunt.

Horror Games like the new SOMA and Amnesia shine out for me.
Resident Evil? Neh...
SOMA is one of the best horror games I've played in a long time. Fantastic story and visuals. It's got everything I'd ask for in a horror game, atmosphere, tension, etc. and hasn't gone all-out with the jumpscares.
A little pricey but eh... It's worth it.

I grew up with the first 3 games when they came out so the 1 & 2 had a huge impact on me.
It was way before today's PC vs. Console debate.
3 got stupid.
But, then, I was expecting a traditional horror franchice when it claerly established that it was all military-grade weapons.
B.O.W. = Bio-Organic Weapons.
Zombies, Nemesis, Tyrants, T-00.
T-Virus variants. G-Virus variants.
They delved too much into the science of the virus.
I thought 1 was more closer to George A. Romero zombies.
It might have been.
But, to continue the franchise of video games, they had to create something that would fit a video game story.
Military science experiments was it.
And the films butchered way more than they needed to.
Bad acting, bad writing, and entirely bad new concepts for "Alice".
I don't think the games can do any better than 2.
And you had to be born at the right age to play 2 and appreciate the graphics at the then time.
A lot of praise for some of the newer games like 4 or 5, but, honestly, they're just rehashes of some Manga story with updated grpahics and clever writers.

Toecutter was way more human and plausible. He was vicious.

Resident Evil; Extinction (2007)
Not liking it so much.
kind of sucks after the first film.
It's just a shame that's what they chose to do.
A man after my own heart, i totally agree.
My mother explicitly forbid me to watch Mad Max whenever it was on TV, and that was the german TV Version XD
Extinction is the worst in the Franchise, not a single redeeming quality....
I never really liked Resident Evil atall.
Burn this Heathen at the Stake !!
I can't play Resident Evil or any of these horror games no matter how good they might be, I happen to be a huge pussy.
I'm listening to "THE BIG BUS" soundtrack, from David Shire
Same here, goes for Movies and Games, but when it comes to Resident Evil i clench my teeth and play them, everything above it is too spooky for me.
The REmake on GameCube and now Steam/Playstation/Xbox was a huge Deal for me, fucking nervewrecking, i had to turn off the Gamecube a couple of Times.

I heard it's great, but it's not really my Genre, i am more of an Indie, Roguelike, Platformer and Tycoon Player with the occasional FPS thrown in
(Bulletstorm and Borderlands for example, none of that Call of Duty Crap)

All in all i like every Entry except for 5, yes, even 6 (for what it was, which is not being Resident Evil) ^^
2 had the absolute Best Cloak & Dagger Sabotage, Powergrab, Double Play, Industry Espionage Plot.
As for the Movies, didn't i mention Guilty Pleasures earlier, it's an absolute Sacrilege for my as diehard Series Fan, but when they come on
on the telly, i don't switch channels :p
If you want a good Resi Movie you are best off with Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) - IMDb (

ugh.
Extinction is what I'm finishing now.
It's so horrible.
None of the games (that I know of) really exhibit any of the specimens getting super-kinetic powers or even telekinetic.
At this point, it shouldn't even be Resident Evil with military, mad-science.
I am going to watch the original Night of the Living Dead after this series.

Watching "Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)"
I remember the opening with the umbrellas and slow motion.
I think the only thing I remember from this one is the slow motion.
It's the one with the slow motion fight in the slow motion showers isn't it?
Big giant creature throws an axe and she gets all Matrixy with it?
I hate this one, too.
If the films kept pace with the game development, RE2 film should have dealt more with RE2 game.
I would have liked both of them.
But, since RE2 film went straight to RE3 game, they both sucked.

I'm seriously considering seeing The Walk in IMAX 3D later this week/next week with some college friends from my course. From the reviews I've read/heard so far, it sounds like the perfect film for IMAX 3D, and therefore worth the money for the experience.

Is it worth catching ?
There's a lot of humor in it.
Especially when you start thinking about a lot of things only to have the characters repeat it on-screen very shortly after you think it.
Christian Bale got replaced due to scheduling. So we have Jason Clarke.
It does take place after Salvation.
But, with all the legal battles to who would win the rights to the franchise and then writing out #5 took too long for any of the original cast of #4 to return.
Heavily reflects Star Trek (2009) with the time travel.
Not quite X-Men Days of Future Past, however. I mean... not unless do a "The Furlong Cut".
Graphics and special effects is pretty standard. There's nothing groundbreaking about it.
The spheres got upgraded.
The HUD on the Terminators haven't really changed. A little cleaner, I suppose.
The trailers are really different from the film, though.
Same scenes, but the intense music for the trailers seem to overhype it like it's a Superbowl movie or something.
I would still watch again.
---------- Post added at 04:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:26 AM ----------
Kind of really sucks how the sfx is mixed right into the score for the first part of the end credits.
The final stinger in the score is quite prominent, so using an older repetition won't sound right.
Surprisingly, the mix isn't as dynamic as I thought.
It looks very much like just upscaled 5.1.
Doesn't look thrilling in waveform.
