Okay. Took a while, but here's round two.
Previous uploads HERE (

Jet Set Radio Future Original Soundtrack (FLAC)
Personal rip of the album using EAC with Vegeta's recommended settings (

God of War Trilogy Soundtrack (FLAC)
Contains soundtracks to God of War, God of War II, and God of War III. Front and back album art and disc art included. Just a warning: I got these from a Russian tracker site, so these may or may not be the best quality rips. However, I did check the spectrograms with some random tracks and they looked fine to my (admittedly untrained) eye. Would like confirmation from other people to verify, however.

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night (GBA) (FLAC)
Made this myself, as its not available anywhere else. Recorded through VisualBoyAdvance's internal audio recorder into WAV, then edited in Audacity for two loops and fade out and exported in FLAC. Had to loop entire sections for "Prologue" and "Epilogue" as they're cut off mid-track and too short. And yes, I did try to rip directly from the ROM but it seems the game doesn't use the Sappy engine unfortunately.
Source is recording via VBA-M v878 from NTSC GBA ROM of The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night with sound effects muted. Recorded in WAV at 1411kbps, edited in Audacity with two loops and fade out, and exported in FLAC on a Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming GT motherboard (Realtek ALC1150 codec, TI Burr Brown OPA2134 op-amp).

Did you physically remove the track numbers on the files? This is a huge no no. Please do not do that. I also recommend you use the file naming scheme "%tracknr2% - %title%" (without quotes) for both lines under Filename Tab. Also you forgot one option. You need to enable Log Checksum (Press F9, once EAC Options opens, go to Tools Tab, then make sure "Append Checksum to status report" is checked. Other than that everything checks out.

Woops! I uploaded the wrong folder; I have one I use for actual listening (the uploaded one) and another for archival purposes. I'll re-upload. If you're wondering why there's no track numbers in the titles, its because I sort my entire library in foobar by track number and filename; no titles. Gives me more room to display information, especially since I don't need track number to be shown in the title/track number AND its own column.

Check HCS forum, maybe you will find a sound files link to get lossless encoding from it (Use Vgmstream or the appropriate plugin for it, on Winamp or Foobar but i recommend the second one)

This isn't working anymore because Rapidgator have become of those 'special premium filehost'. Even debrid websites aren't working for it. The only is to suscribe to an offer, which isn't really expensive considering you will find atleast a lot of rare FLAC to download with a 1 month/15$ USD offer (there aren't limit)

No, lol. Main goal of sharing links is to .... share links right ? If they are on trackers website (torrent website) it is public and no one care about who upload it first. People would be thankfull to you for reuploading them
There are just a few people which could tell you 'hey u stole my upload gonna find ur family and kill you !!!!!!' lol
MEGA, Google Drive and Mediafire are the best hosting website imo. So you use them. Some people avoid Peer 2 Peer (Torrent) because of some laws in their country (unless you pay for a VPN/Seedbox which cost around 5$ USD monthly)
Edit : Eternal Sonata Score :
http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4293215 (Register on the website with Gmail. You will be able to see more torrent on it and have a better search function)
Just use Foobar with this
http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_input_monkey installed on it to convert it to FLAC. You will not loose quality because the encoding work like : APE > WAV > FLAC , because its compressed lossless format.
If you want scans as well then register on VGMdb and you will be able to see them in HQ.

Good link Vector Harbour !. For some games xma (Xbox series native audio) is better as obviously more songs are there and longer lengths or looping (IF there are any present) compared with the soundtrack.
Sure it's a pain to convert but worth it.

biohazard/Resident Evil-related material can no longer be shared on the Shrine (as per request of the copyright owner), hence its "absence " on the list. The "ban" is already a few years old, you shouldn't be shocked.

I'm shocked too but not the worst thing in the world. RE was one of the earliest series I started importing CDs for! So I have much of it already. And luckily through all the knowledge shared here I was able to learn that my CDs for RE2 and RE4 were actually counterfeit. Since the series is so popular links are out there on the web. I was able to replace my RE2 Korean disc with a rip of the legitimate one, and while I would have been able to do the same for RE4 I was very happy to buy a copy of the real thing anyway since I love that one so much. This place is a great resource even if that stuff isn't allowed to be shared here. Don't give up hope!

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. There's no way to be able to tell if someone else's rip is 100% anymore. I always found it strange how the log checker did not exist on another site for people who aren't members..

There's log-checking software if you look around on the net. There are also sites like
http://eachelper.atwebpages.com/Analyzehtml.php that will test your logs, though I've never used them, so I don't know how effective they are.

What managed vgm that much? I should have downloaded more when I could have. I ditched what after a while due to being too retarded to figure out how to get seeding to work (even though I had no trouble seeding for any other trackers), and poor selection of music from particular artists that I was looking for at the time.

I thiiiiink the new eac may be better for ripping in regards to PE discs. I had a specific disc in mind I was going to test this with, but it was one I borrowed from a local library turns out they're renovating and put every cd in storage so I won't be able to get access to it again for a while hahaha
I have to use that one because it's the only one I ripped with the previous version of eac that I'd still have access too. So it's really my only basis for comparison to see if I'm imagining things or not.

It seems to rip a little bit faster. gets rid of the bug where it'll go into 1st level error detection for no reason (y'know how in the log it'll rate these tracks as 99.9%, no more of that).
It's a little finicky about selecting particular tracks to rip though, you have to highlight each track individually before clicking the check box, otherwise it checkmarks all tracks.

What about the log checksum though?
Sorry about the wait, real life and all that. I tried ripping it again and at the speed it was going at, it would've taken days. I tried reinstalling and scanning multiple times, but its always in a 'Not Responding' state when it does anything. Tried multiple discs as well. The problem seems to be between EAC and my drive's CD capabilities, as I can still rip DVDs and Blu-rays with MakeMKV just fine. I'm probably just going to buy an external drive and just rip CDs in that, but I don't know when I'll be able to get a new one.
Any help would be appreciated, though! You know more about this stuff than I do.

Did you talk about my mirror of FF Violin?
I downloaded and checked my upload, the password still works
yep, the cue files were embedded in the flacs, using foobar to split them just fine
While I absolutely appreciate the soundtracks and being pointed in the direction of using foobar, just saying open it in foobar is extremely vague for someone who has no idea what they are doing. To those who want to know how to split the file up:
Download Foobar200 and
http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php (all you need is the lame.exe)
Open up the single flac file in Foobar200
Select all tracks and right click then go to Convert => ...
Click on Output format and pick what you want the files to be saved as
Click Destination if you want to pick a folder to save it to (can do it later)
Click the Save << button in the middle of the popup and then hit convert
Select a folder or make a new one to save the split tracks to
A popup will ask to locate lame.exe so browse to where you put lame.exe and select it
All that just to get individual tracks. It took me a while and was annoying enough for me to come here and post instructions.

Hah, thanks vegeta! I can't wait to give this one a listen. I'm assuming this is based on the American game? I wonder if there are any differences in the sonic CD tracks compared to how they're presented on the actual game disc. I always thought there was something cool about being able to pop in the actual game disc and just listen to it. Which is probably why I havent had too much interest in this one over the years lol

The game's music tracks are actually short versions of what's on the soundtrack that Vegeta ripped. The soundtrack is literally the full experience, and I highly recommend listening to it. It's just a shame that it doesn't have every music track from the game (eg. Metallic Madness Present was one of my favs, after Stardust Speedway Bad Future).
It also has enhanced versions of Sonic Spinball's soundtrack.

It's easier to use CUETools if you need to break a CD IMAGE rip into separate / individual tracks.
CUETools Homepage:
http://cue.tools/wiki/CUETools_Download
Also, CUETools will re-create the CUE file so it will match the new tracks. I don't think that's possible with foobar2000

If I ever download something that's a single flac file with cue I just burn it back to disc and re-rip. Not sure if that's frowned upon or not but i find it easier to verify against both databases that it's ripped correctly, make sure that everything is tagged correctly, that the tracks are split correctly, etc. if it was ripped properly in the first place it should result in something completely identical to a rip of the original.

CUETools can do all that without the need to burn and re-rip and yes that is frowned upon (re-ripping) BUT if the original rip was done 100% correctly and you account for your burner's WRITE OFF-SET when burning then you should have a CD-R that is 100% identical to the original.
Anyway I only brought up CUETools earlier because someone was talking about splitting up a CD IMAGE rip (one audio file) into many files and CUETools excels at that in that 1.) It is very simple and easy-to-do and 2.) It creates a new CUE Sheet file to match the split files so you don't need to keep the old CD IMAGE rip to have a proper, accurate rip that can be burned back to a CD-R

Hmm, thanks for the tip. Yes I of course make sure that the write offset is accounted for, by burning using eac. Otherwise I don't think there'd be an accuraterip match due to the sample offset, and the re-rip wouldn't appear to be accurate even if the original was. Still, good to know there's a better way of doing this. I'll be sure to keep it in mind for the future. I'm curious, if the original cue sheet has any special info such as track indexes, PRE or DCP flags, ISRC codes, etc. are these also carried over to the newly created cue sheet? Or is it only the timing for the newly-split tracks?

All the essential CUE Sheet stuff is carried over.
The only time it won't really work 100% is when there's one of those HTOA tracks. Instead of keeping the track it will build a pre-gap into the CUE Sheet which effectively does the same thing but the new CD-R won't have the HTOA track anymore.

Can anyone tell me how can I use CueTools to split a flac, wav, tak, whatever image, to have a 100% track log, for use to upload in torrent trackers with logcheckers?
Argus Zephyrus
12-01-2016, 10:03 PM
CueTools won't do tak, but foobar (
www.foobar2000.org/) will do all of those and more, apart from playing back music.
I think you mean an EAC log? That is made by EAC (
www.exactaudiocopy.de/) when ripping an audio CD to wav/flac/ape/etc.

12-02-2016, 05:06 AM
CueTools can convert tak (I've done it before), though I have a feeling I needed to copy in the exe and possibly pull some command line shit to make it work. It will, however, create a log of the process, and a correct cue - Foobar won't, it'll just spit out the FLAC files individually, and you'll still need to copy the tak exe into the folder, configure it manually etc (
http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=TAK#TAK_with_foobar2000).
I really wish people would stop using obscure lossless formats; for the few megabytes that get saved vs. FLAC a whole fuckload of hassle is created. (Obligatory XKCD comic.) (

I will try to put a guide together but honestly it is not hard if you just play around with it some.
Note that trackers will still fail the LOG because the LOG will show it was ripped as a CD IMAGE rip and that's usually not allowed and so it will fail.
The best I can do, guide wise, is show you how to convert from a CD IMAGE rip to a rip of separate tracks (and a new CUE Sheet). It will be PROPER but it doesn't change the LOG of course (only the CUE) and so if the tracker requires separate tracks it will fail auto verification. Although come to think of it you might be able to get a manual over-ride on that from a mod but even then you will probably never get 100%

I found a way myself to split TAK into FLAC tracks, by simply converting the TAK to FLAC with foobar and then let CueTools do the job. It's perfect for personal use, but for trackers the rip won't be perfect. Nothing to do, really. Nothing will make it magically be a 100% rip for a tracker.

Frowned upon, perhaps, but my method will turn a lesser scoring log into a 100% one ;)
I wouldn't worry about it too much. The log checkers at 2/3 of the WCD replacements aren't even working at the moment.
And yes I've been checking around for the S&M soundtracks too! I'm sure it'll show up in one of those places first

Thanks for sharing Ponyo, I snatched this earlier today and was gonna share it here once I got home but you beat me to it :P wonder what everyone thinks of this one. I like it! Mastered a bit loud but that's to be expected as with the previous releases, also must consider that these recordings are made to be heard on small speakers that don't get much amplification. I'm also trying not to listen to far into it to avoid spoilers.
2 interesting things of note:
1. in the booklet, there's a qr code that takes you to a survey. It's in Japanese, but if you fill it out (and I suggest everyone here do that - it lets them know that there is an audience for these releases at a time when the cd format is becoming more and more obsolete and they haven't yet made the transition to providing these recordings as downloads) it will let you download 4 very high resolution wallpapers featuring S/M art.
2. In the disc 4 Z-ring tracks, you can see exactly how it works - there are pulses of alternating tones between 18khz-20khz that I suppose serve as signals for the Z ring to initiate certain responses. I don't think there's data transfer of any sort involved but I may be wrong. If so it would be very small, maybe only a few bytes of information.
This brings up a small mystery... while tones in this band would be easily transmitted by the 3DS speakers, 18khz is already well above what would be allowed by the 32khz sampling rate of the game audio - unless I am mistakenly assuming that the game audio runs at (like most other Nintendo games) 32khz?

My pleasure to bring it to you, but thanks the original OP AcidBeast.
Thanks for your info, Mrrom92, I didn't know about that! I was wondering what those final bonus tracks were for, they sounded the same to me. I'll give that a try when I reach that part of the game. It's kinda fun! I'm also not listening to it much until I become familiar with the tracks when playing the game - that's when listening to the soundtrack becomes even more enticing. Also. Mrrom92, ALL of the soundtracks are available DIGITALLY in Japan. Not the Worldwide versions, the CD versions but in digital. I truly hope they don't stop issuing CD's of the Pokemon Soundtracks! Fortunatley enough, Japan cares about this stuff and knows some people still like collecting CDs.

That's awesome that they are sold digitally in Japan, I had no idea. I know the days of the cd releases for OSTs (or anything) are dwindling so it's important to let them know there's still a market, whic I suppose is why they have that survey to begin with. That said, when the day comes when these things stop being made - I hope those websites i allow Americans to purchase the music they're interested in. If not officially then maybe with a vpn or something. For now I'm just glad the Japanese public still values these things and I will buy them as long as I can

Hmmm I'm not sure what you mean by this. They're more or less identical to the tracks as found on disc 1, just with high frequency pulses mixed in. I suppose they kept them separate from the real tracks so that the sound quality wouldn't be affected, as you have a "clean" track and then the bonus ones with the pulses mixed in.

I would be really grateful if someone could share the flac versions. :-)
Actually any other NWN2 soundtrack in Lossless would be most appreciated ^_^
Thanks Guys
This was distributed through GOG.COM, so cd2 and cd3 are something like gamerip apparently. They (GOG) like to do that sort of OSTs.

Question for those who may be more familiar with trackers than I am. One thing I had on APL got trumped because I supposedly had improper tags in the flac file. Not that the info in the tags was bad, but the format of the tags was bad. I don't know how that's possible because it's the same tags that EAC has written into pretty much any disc I've ever ripped, or any of us have ever ripped. They weren't edited or changed with a 3rd party program or anything (I do use tag and rename occasionally, but I didn't with these) It turns out that it was actually trumped by a lesser scoring log.
What gives? I don't particularly care that it was trumped but I want to know exactly what I did wrong so I can avoid it in the future. Is it possible that this was just abuse of the report function by someone who saw a popular snatch and wanted to get a piece of the seed action?

Possibly, show us a comparison between your rip tags and his, and what was scored, I dunno.

Not a problem with me, it's kinda helpful. If you reupload it if it's taken down again, just make sure to credit the original rip to PonyoBellanote.

Pachislot Ashita no Joe Sound Collection (

Sammy MEGA MIX (

Space Venus starring Morning Musume Original Soundtrack Space Lagoon Passport (

Pachislot Hokuto no Ken SE Original Soundtrack (

They're pretty cheap, and there is no scans in VGMdb, so I'm willing to buy them just for history sake.
These have only been uploaded in very lossy rips, I'd love to see those in lossless.

I have like 4 different rips now (3 from here, 1 from a torrent, only the torrent one had a log), and first I got it's an HDCD (which really, I didn't knew much before) and then I got another rip which had almost every track around 100Mb in size...

kagami3k, the logchecker in a private tracker says that your log is:
Score: 90 (out of 100)
Log validation report:
Test and copy was not used (-10 points)
Seems like this one is a simple CD rip, and the rip you have that is 100mb in size for each track might as well be a 24bit lossless high definition audio.

There was a vinyl release, so that might be why some are extra-huge file sizes.

from this same forums, got it from this thread:

As some users noted (I was just reading it), it's the real deal, the digital 96 Khz digital album some JP stores sold (an user here bought it just before the upload went up)
So, definitely a keeper...

Just a reminder, all that stuff above ~20kHz? You can't hear it. Even with perfect young, undamaged ears. Unless you're downloading this soundtrack for your dog, that's just wasted space, and even if your gear is capable of reproducing it, it might actually interfere with the audio that you can hear - look up "intermodulation distortion". Bear in mind that any artefacts created by intermodulated distortion, aliasing etc at high frequencies that produce lower, audible frequencies can of course be captured by regular recording equipment. (If you really want to dig into this, look at the SACD debacle - plenty of audiophiles claiming that their "simple" 96+kHz DSD audio chain produced a "broader soundstage" or whatever nonsense, and then it turned out that the filters in almost all SACD players converted DSD to PCM before output, along with a low-pass filter to prevent high-frequency distortion; in other words, "emperor's new clothes". CD players and modern DACs do oversample to 96kHz+, but this is for simplicity in anti-aliasing, not for reproduction of frequencies in that range.)
In any case, some part of your your gear will probably have a pass filter so it won't reproduce anything much beyond ~20kHz at all. And that's a good thing for your tweeters. 24/96 is simply a waste of space, unless you're an audio engineer working with it.

Archival purposes...
EDIT:
I got curious since I didn't looked at it before (had no reason to), my equipment only goes up to 22khz, but that's good, since I'm usually restricted to headphones...I'm more interested in sound isolation

I agree with much of this, However, you must know that we humans do not posess an infinite order filter which suddently makes the frequencies above 22khz totally inaudible for a human. It is rather an small curvature that eventually goes to floor. THAT small curvature is what some can hear, what some others can't. Remember that the 22khz limit is based on population samples and I'm quite sure it creates a gaussian distribution, which is nowhere near a peak nor close to an impulse.
