Anybody has Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen soundtrack (SQEX-10363)?

I tracked both Dragon's Dogma and and Dark Arisen's soundtracks down on vnsharing.com.

You likely did too, but missed the links to it.

They are literally invisible for me on firefox, so it took a bit for me to find them.

Move your mouse pointer slowly to the right of the block of text that is in the actual post until you hit an invisible link.

You'll know because a bubble will pop up telling you what it is.

Once you find one, move your pointer up or down until you find the one labeled "Download Mp3/FLAC/Sheets/Scans" and click it to make the music links appear.

The links are all a couple songs off of the proper order of the Dark Arisen upload, so you want song 24 of Disc 1 and Song 27 of Disc 2 to download the EAC ripped

version of the entire CD all at once.

These are all the songs ripped as single giant files so you will have to either split them with the provided cue file, or download each song individually.

I will reupload both of these soundtracks here with the songs split for an easier time for everyone in the future.

Submitting MP3 content in a lossless thread is always a no no. Me post about my new shelf, and to state i'm getting Blurays in the mail is just pictures and text. Sorry I don't have else where to post it? I can't exactly post it in Anime forum since it doesn't have a download link. Note that in this case all of them were ordered and put in one single post, I think this is completely valid because there it was even some sort of investigation about it. Scathered post would be a problem though, since indeed this is the lossless thread, and in my opinion the most relevant topic should be indeed lossless.

I talked with LKS about this.. and I believe he said this was ok. (If not LKS let me know).

I just got this in the mail today. Currently there is a rip done in EAC v0.99 which does not include the checksum. So if you guys want me to rip my own copy let me know.

Yeah, overall a little "touch" of human communication can be great, if not abused per see.

It's a topic about lossless, so all lossless discussions, if short, can be done here at least (related to the rip process, albums, discs, etc... of course).

As for the mp3, I don't mind them being here if they are related to another lossless release, or "exceptionally" if there is (for now) no alternative, but not as a primary post for it, more as a link toward its proper thread, indeed. ~

MP3's should only be acceptable if they're the highest quality possible of that particular track/album thats been found, as not everything gets a physical release. There have been alot of digital music distribution stores that offered no higher format than MP3.

But a DVD rip should have been lossless

It depends, some DVDs have uncompressed LPCM tracks, but many use lossy formats instead (in that case it is better to keep the audio in its original format and NOT do a lossy=>lossy transcode)

Despite the fact that this game is called 'Dinosaur', there are no dinosaurs in the actual game. A disappointing revelation - what it actually happens to be is Falcom's attempt at making a Wizardry-like.

I lurk around here a lot and agree with you about Vegeta's stuff. It's more human :P I don't agree with the mp3 posts because it's a lossless thread, and it's perfectly easy to look at other threads for that stuff. When you're browsing through a lossless thread that looks like:

bla bla bla
pictures
bla bla bla
lossless music link
bla bla bla

It's much cleaner and easier to use because you know every actual download link is lossless. Otherwise it gets messy like:

It's easy to skim over the talking and pictures, but when you get to an actual link you have to read into the details to figure out if something is lossless or not, which should just be expected in a lossless thread.

I was wondering if anyone could help me find the FLAC soundtrack for Pokemon Black2 and White2 Super Music Complete.

Unlike the links in the Opening Posts for Ruby and Sapphire and HeartGold and SoulSilver which were easy enough for me to manage (download the FLAC and turn them into mp3s with Any Video Converter), I can't make heads or tails of the link provided for Black2 and White2.

The farthest I got was a fat .wav file for disc one with no knowledge of what to do next.

So yeah, I'd appreciate any help with this matter. Thanks in advance. :)

EDIT: Nvm, found the problem, audio sample rate is 96, iPod only supports up to 44.1. Anyone know how to downsample? Didn't see option in dBpowerAMP or in the Convert Section in Foobar2000

This is what's on the Tear of Vermilion soundtrack I uploaded much earlier in the thread. Read the list when you scroll down.

The soundtrack I uploaded is for the PC version, and was released in 2001. 1996 is when the soundtrack to the PC-98 version was published, and I don't have that one.

Hope this helps. Also, the PSP games are ported from PC IIRC (do not, I repeat, do not play Namco's butchered localization of Legend of Heroes 3, 4 and 5. They did an incredibly horrible translation job, and even changed the battle system for the worse in localization. The story was nearly made completely nonsensical, as well.)

If you look at the beginning of this thread, there is a list of every OST posted in this thread with accompanying game it's from. Since it's part of the Gagharv trilogy, LoH 4 OST was listed under that under "The Legend of Heroes", under "Series".

Hopefully this information will help you in the future. I linked you to the page number where I posted it.

And yes, the OST of the PC and PSP versions of the remakes of these games are identical - only difference is that on PSP it sounds worse.

Woops! :o I guess I had a moment and forgot about it. I have been there before; it's how I knew the Tales of Destiny PS2 soundtrack wasn't there and how I found that clunky (for me, anyway) B2W2 Soundtrack, as well.

You know what? I looked under Falcom. I didn't even consider looking for Legend of Heroes. That's why I never found it.

(FYI: I am content with the PSP version as that is all I have [and it's not that bad, in my opinion]. I had to track down the copies throughout the city to get them. I still need to buy Trails in the Sky, though. I'll get to that soon enough.)

Yeah, I think that's because the search engine is geared toward finding the proper thread rather than posts. It is probably why they ask the contributers to make individual threads for Soundtracks even if they are put in a compilation thread like this one.

The CBR Community forums also has this same issue, though funny enough, Pojo's forums don't really seem to.

Having downloaded logi74's Soundtrack for A Tear of Vermilion and listened to the songs, I can say that there are some differences between the PSP version and this one. Though there aren't many, these differences just happen to be tracks I really want.

The first "overworld" music, the first battle music, and the first boss music are remixed in the PSP version, said remixes I actually kinda prefer. Interestingly, the cave battle music was the same. There are a couple other remixes, too.

I suppose that means I'll have to wait for Mixi's upload, then. I don't mind if it isn't strictly lossless either, I just hope it is the PSP's version. Though I wonder if you'd need to rip it straight from the UMD or something? Does an offical soundtrack for the PSP version exist?

I thought this was the real deal but it turned out to be another homemade CD of a fan arranger. It should have had a corny subtitle like they always do. I hope one day there will be an official release.

I've added Mass Effect 2's for completion, even if there is only mp3 available.
There is also two BGC's albums with unused tunes for the series, same with Sam Hulick.

I still have some stuff ready to be ripped but need to get my hardware "stable" beforehand

Hopefully it's a lead that fleshes out. Some of the best soundtracks are utterly hard to find outside of Youtube.

For my own rips I go like "DISCNAME (YEAR) {CATALOG}". I leave the disc-name as it originally is. Even if it's from someone else I generally don't abbreviate "Original Soundtrack" or change the disc-name, but in a few cases I may change other data (just not the disc-name). Usually I do more name-changing (clarification/attribution/compression/etc) when it comes to gamerips.
BTW I have the navigation pane in Windows Explorer turned off, since I hardly use it, and that also gives me a wider space so long names aren't much of a problem for me.

However I don't really have a standard for my library overall. If you want I can post up a text file of the relevant section of my filesystem xD

By default for any series, I have them all thrown into one folder for the entire series.
However a noteable exception is Sonic, since my Sonic collection is colossal and Sonic just has countless games going for him.

Okay. First, I just saw that I messed up some m3u files along the way of my releases, so sorry folks about that.
I'm still not accustomed to foobar apparently, and so didn't know about the "relative path playlist" only available
if you save it IN the original folder. Won't re-upload them just for that but will take do it right starting now~

In order to mooch off of what.cd, you'll need people willing to sacrifice their buffer which is a bitch in itself to gain if you don't own stuff to upload that isn't already on there.

I think I got around $8,000 for taxes this year. I wanna say I used taxact to do it, but i can't remember. I'd have to dig up the paperwork lol

Besides that I have around $55,000 in the bank so its not like its hurting me much.
