So, what is this? This is a Talesweaver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talesweaver) BGM arrangement album by Vanilla Mood, a group of four girls who possess formidable skills with their respective instruments (violin, flute, piano, cello). Every piece here is arranged to a degree where it stands alone magnificently while retaining some elements of "RPG music". Although some people may dismiss this as "cheesy," I think this is a melodic, heartfelt album where you can see these kawaii girls () put a lot of effort into the arrangement. The album also features a piece that is based on Borodin's Polovtsian dance from Prince Igor. :D

I was wondering if anyone could do a high quality rip of the Music from Need For Speed Carbon for the [PS3], Sorcerer's Maze for [PS1], and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrtath of Cortex [PS2]. Good to see this here. I stumbled upon this album by accident one day while surfing the 'net for the TalesWeaver soundtrack (which I've yet to find), and I downloaded it out of curiosity, but was quite pleased with it.

The very best of Falcom jdk arrangement album in my opinion. Some of the tracks in here are so damn fun to listen to, especially "Overdosing Heavenly Bliss." One thing I should note is that the album is mastered way too loud, so I recommend using Replaygain (but I guess this goes for a lot of albums out there...)

Do you have the OST in lossless for Battlezone 1 / or expansion Red Odyssey by the same composer Hwang (or maybe it on the game CD in lossless like audio cd) ? Do you have the Battlezone 2 soundtrack in lossless (different composer)? I heard it was on the game cd itself as regular redbook files that could be ripped.

MCS has issues. Switch to cuetools, foobar, winamp, etc.

Medieval Cue Splitter is garbage, its notorious on the Hydrogen Audio forums for destroying audio rips. Whoever is the moderator of this thread should specify on the front page to never use MCS for lossless rips.

As for .net, a blanket statement like that one without a technical rationale sounds close to zealotry. Anyways, MCS is the worst of the worst, as it fails to handle pregaps properly, see here (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=57563&view=findpost&p=683198). You'll be left with tracks improperly split per accuraterip results. Really, there should be a sticky to avoid using MCS. Stick with either cuetools or foobar2k.

i repeat, i have fixed the cue errors thx to medieval cue spliter, and dont require the crap net framework to work. So i have it clear about what is crap and what is not. Also medieval cue splitter have signed the exactly problems in 'this cue'. So i am not agree with you where cuetools worked bad, and helped nothing.

If you want to use MCS, use it. One day you may find the CUE's have some silence you didnt noticed before, will be too late. Use whatever soft you want but at least stop spitting bulshit.

Multi-quote is working fine here. Click on the button highlighted in BOSS LADY's screenshot (in other words, the button to the right of "Reply With Quote"), the message should get 'flagged', then click... Reply With Quote. You should be set, unless you're talking about some kind of graphic-screw-up.

Hmm... Maybe the issue gets solved by clearing the cache? I'm not sure, but it looks like the board/browser thinks you still have that messages 'flagged', so it shows them whenever you click Reply With Quote.

Funny you should mention the Animated Series as I just started watching it after being nostalgic after seeing the episode in the special features of TDKR: Part 2.

SendSpace usually been working very well for me, but lately for the past 2 days it been quite wonky to say the least, telling me "You cannot download more than one file at a time" even though I'm not downloading any other file! And I don't have a shared IP, proxy or whatever. Quite the mystery :p

Ultra weird. I just retested the same links (starting at the top) I tried earlier (and had gotten "violated TOS") and they all work in firefox with extension now

If I have ffshrine open simultaneously in chrome and have a new tab with a MEGA link from that post then it says the file was removed for TOS violation for all links

But closing the browser and then starting chrome again later and pasting the link results in link working this time.

So there is a script in MEGA for chrome to exclude ffshrine folks :(

Yep, was going to reply that but for all who still are having some problems with the new Mega, install Jdownloader, update Jdownloader, copy the links, enjoy of Nobuo OMFGuematsu and/or other wonderful OST's.

Masafumi Takada best works are really hard to find in FLAC. Only No More Heroes is easy to find, but Killer 7, Michigan, and this new one... he is so pretty good!

Great post. Enjoyed the album a lot... so immediately went over to Steam and purchased the game. I still maintain indie developers should always release their game scores/soundtracks for free via digital download (with option for lossless of course) - this has to be one of the best forms of advertising and circulating awareness of their product. Epic soundtracks really can sell cheap games.

The amount of indie games I've bought (mostly on Steam) because of hearing & liking the soundtrack beforehand is significant. Anyway - thanks for sharing this one.

You know, when someone discovers a video game through its soundtrack and not through any other medium is an amazing thing all on its own, and I personally enjoy it and feel should happen even more.

TheOSTation over at YouTube has this particular line that he adds to the description of every video he uploads that I like that reads, "The sharing of VGM does not destroy the video game industry, as it does indeed help it grow.". Whenever I learn about people like neiax that sentence rings loudly in my mind.

Same's true for anime Boss Lady. I found the Red Fraction opening to Black Lagoon here and now LOVE that anime. I found the soundtrack to Jin-Roh The Wolf Brigade and love that film too. I'm interested in playing Onimusha 2 because of the soundtrack.

Oh yeah, I'm glad that it got you interested in a game and inspired to purchase it from Steam, I did the same not long ago. It is also good to see that the developer studio Ratloop Asia is doing good promoting and porting their work to other platforms as PS3 and PS Vita. I first found out about Rocketbirds back in 2010 when it was browser based flash game. It already looked and played great back then, just didn't have that rotoscoped effect which they added later for console releases.
To be honest as a fan and a person who's studying game art major, I'd love to be working on as an artist on this type of 2D platformers in the future.
