No, they're the PSP files and it doesn't make much of a difference, since the Origins collection are originally lossy as well. The PSP tracks are ATRAC files orginally and the PS3 files are 256kb MP3 files! ;)

I didn't have those Origins files at first, but now I have them as well. There seems to be less music files though!

I've been ripping discs for quite some time and am a big fan of "perfect" FLACs. The only "imperfect" personal rip I have uploaded would be the Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate Original Soundtrack Ultimate Collection, only because I forgot to include the log checksum. To know What my username is check who uploaded that on a tracker with a lot of CDs ;)

I have a fair number of discs from Perfect Dark that won't have proper logs because they were originally range rips.

I usually am unable to/don't upload them to the tracker or here because they already have a copy floating around :p No point in posting Xenoblade for the millionth time, after all.

The official stance is that they have been grandfathered in and cannot be trumped. This is to prevent torrents from being trumped constantly every time standards are updated.

Oh well. I have enough of a buffer to download anything I cannot find here, in your collection or other trackers and am too cheap to buy for the foreseeable future.

The CUE file also has problems. I'd say, see this upload as sample, not as something to keep in your (download) collection.

I'm hoping someone else will make a better rip at some point (it's not mine), since I didn't end up getting the Limited Edition PS3 package. I might get the separate Blu-Ray OST release at some point, but since I don't have a lot of love for these arrangements it's not a priority for me. Most of the tracks I love weren't even arranged...sheesh! :p

I know it is in the first post, but I downloaded it and CUE Tools gives me an error when I try to extract the file.

CueTools doesn't work with .tak files. Convert them to flac, and then open up the cue in notepad and under the file section change .tak to .flac and it should work.

Can someone PM me on how to get into these trackers that some of you may be a part of? I'm part of waffles and pedro's but I would like to be part of one with a lot of VGM :)

Has anyone here succeeded in ripping the music from Wii U games? I have been looking for a game rip of Pok�mon Rumble U and I haven't found any. The only place I found that has the music is youtube.

Mario ones suck (some of the tones don't match original work and that bothers me)

Sonic part 1 is better than part 2. I'd probably try to get Part 1 just for the Sonic 3 Credits song lol (and others, but still). Disappointed kinda.. not sure why they would put some of the same songs on 2 parts.. just different versions.. I was hoping for more of a variety.

It's not a bad rip, the audio on the video files is like that. The mp3s included in the blu-ray don't have that problem though.

@Krispy Just so you know, all the songs on all those Good Knight Productions albums are midis that were stolen from VGMusic. The person downloaded them, changed the instruments, and is selling them for actual money. If you paid for them, you were ripped off. I used to feel bad that I was trying to download them for free, but now I don't.

First of all, thanks for the share. Unfortunately I can't get those links to work. JDownloader says they are offline and when I try downloading them through Mega the download stops at 99%.

I don't know how you made downloading a file which is offline but I believe you see it offline bcz last four letters are chopped off from the main URL. All you need is to delete the space before you read it in JD or delete "%20%20" in the URL which can be seen in the JD's add multiple links window.

I am getting the same 99% for all Mega links now. I tried OpenDNS too

When my IP changed Mega links suddently stopped breaking at 99% and worked fine, for several items in a row .. then again bam and then again nothing works

Did Mega recently put in a secret bandwith limit for free accounts to causes dl to break for several days after you exceed whatever amount is allowed?

Right now again I cannot get a single mega link to finish beyond 99%

That's weird... unless it is something ISP related. For example, there are certain IPs that don't work very well, so I have to reset the cable modem several times to see if it changes.

It's due to a new bug between the Mega firefox app and firefox 28.0

You have to wait for your ip to change after a couple uses of mega or they break at 99% every later link

Using firefox 27.1 on another computer ... no problem :)

Reinstalling firefox 28 doesn't fix the problem but IP change does ... weird indeed

I think I've figured it out.

It's due to a new bug between the Mega firefox app and firefox 28.0Seriously, guys. If you're having a problem in one browser, try a different one. If you've been struggling with this 99% issue since January I really don't know what to say that can get this through. You just need to use whatever tool does the job.

Back when I used to buy a lot more game soundtracks I would usually buy from play-asia.com, cdjapan.jp or yesasia.com. All 3 ship internationally but have various positives and negatives. CDJapan charges the most for shipping but tends to reach you faster. yesasia may still have a free shipping option if you buy enough that I think is totally worth waiting for. If you are buying something that has been out for a while, you can always look on local sites to see if anyone is selling it closer to you.

Agreed, It is almost impossible not to like the 3Ds, I got the Zelda edition during black Friday and immediately felt in love with it and that is coming from someone that was deeply involved in the PSP modding scene back in the day <<<

In the absence of an official OST release, I've sourced together a lossless collection of all tracks included in the newly released Project DIVA F 2nd from my Vocaloid collection.



Of the 40 tracks, the exception is a single track which I could only find as a 320 mp3. Is it still acceptable to post the FLAC collection here, including the mp3 track? I don't want to tread on any toes with my first upload, so any pointers are most welcome!

About this release:Revolution Software finally went through their archives and resurrected this magnificent score. Back in 1997, the original game has been shipped with 22kHz mono music files, the Director's Cut edition used OGG files, that weren't much better in terms of quality. BS1 has been released in a Director's Cut version for the Wii and the format they used there had the best quality there is from the score, even though they removed a bunch of the cues and added some synth stuff Barrington composed for the DC. However, BS2 never got the same treatment.
So, for the first time we get selected cues from the score in lossless quality. There were almost 500 cues in the game (close to 3.5 hours of music) and only a fraction is featured here, but at least we get some unreleased stuff like cutscene music. And it's lossless ;)

Lot of thanks to McGlynn (and to Somie) for your help. I have enjoyed Klonoa's ost on mp3 for years, and now with flac I'm very happy. It's so good music. Thanks again, there's really great people on this forum!!

In one of the pictures of the box.. you can see in the upper corner.. it looked like it was tipped upside down and dropped. That box was in near mint condition when it left. There was maybe some sticker tear marks (you know when you peel off a sticker and it rips the cardboard box a little)

Im currently trying to rip a soundtrack. Now I have a PC audio card that has optical in. I plan to record from PS4 as source and use Audacity to record. But what settings do you lossless guys use?? I need a link to basic recording to output as flac. I also got an iRiver H140 to record but unsure what db to set it as when recording optical in audio. Any help would be appreciated!

Definitely a fan of single player FF, but it's a difficult decision. I'd love to play it if it were free to play. But you have to buy a subscription, since it's an MMO. I guess we'll see. But it is pretty damn awesome to have won it though. :)

Since I cannot for the life of me find the album art at a decent resolution I decided to take it upon myself to reconstruct the album cover using the stock image originally used and replacing and lining up the text myself. The result is pretty close, there is a a slight increase in the distance between the letters in "SUNRISE" and I had to draw that letter "Q" with the fancy tail by hand. The only other thing is the font is slightly bolder in "FreQuency". After resizing the image 500x500 I find these changes to be hardly noticeable and when these tracks come up on shuffle I don't have to see an ugly low res image. Thought I'd share it.

So UPS WILL be reimbursing me for the full amount, because those parts have to be re ordered. Because I have no way of telling what works and what doesn't. So if they want they cant take the broken piece of shit, and give me the $6000 that I insured it for.
