So....about a week ago, just for giggles, I decided to look up some vgm albums on amazon that were reasonably priced, and message the sellers asking about catalog numbers to cross reference for legitimacy on vgmdb (For those who don't know, pretty much every japanese seller on amazon has the exact same description for every item, talking about how long it will take to ship, we don't sell bootlegs, blah blah blah. It's nearly the exact same description copy pasta'd for all 20 sellers or so, and is in engrish).

So I find a seller for Star Ocean ~Till The End Of Time~ OST Vol. 1 who is actually in my state. Claims he can't find the catalog numbers, but says that it is a 4 disc album, instead of 2. Confused, I ask "Isn't it a 2 disc album?" because it is and also direct him to check the discs themselves for the catalog numbers. He replies, citing the correct number for the 1st disc: KDSD-00002, and also says "Vol 1 has 2 cd's, vol 2 has 2 cd's, arrange album has 1 cd, arrange album the second story has 1 cd. Total of 2 cds and 4 cases. This is the sound complete box set."

I hadn't known about a box set, but just figured it was the same as other soundtracks that give you a special box along with the first album so you can collect them all together. I'm just happy that this seems legit, and it's in my state, so I order.

At the same time, I find a japanese seller for Vol. 2, everything checks out so I decide to try my luck and order.

So, Vol. 1 arrived today, and inside this box set box, I find 4 CD's staring at me: Star Ocean TTEOT Vol. 1, Vol. 2, the Arrange album, and Star Ocean 2nd Story Arrange album. And they all check out for being legit. I only paid about $16. Should I be concerned? I'm not even interested in either of the arrange albums, and I also can't cancel the other order for Vol. 2 because it's already shipped.

Wat do?

Thanks for the heads-up on the Rockman box re-release guys. I found more info after ripping disc 1. The EAC checksums are all identical to MrBobHarris' rip. I even joined his rip into one big wave with cuetools and compared it to mine with a hex editor and every bit is identical.

I only ripped disc 1 so far, but I doubt they would have kept disc 1 the same and changed any of the others. :-(

Oy, way to be down on the sound quality before RMSB 2 has even come out. :P

I do think they did very well on the Rockman X SB, though--and greatly improved the quality of the old RMX2 OST in particular. Heck, I think the sound is good on the old E-CAN set too from discs 3 and onward. So I'm hopeful for the RMSB 2 set. :) (Alas, I've played so few of the actual games in that set...)

Just to clarify, I didn't end up posting my copy, because I ripped it and it turns out it is 100% identical to the previous E-Can release. Rather than relying on my ears to see if they were the same, I compared the AccurateRip CRCs in my EAC log to the ones posted by MrBobHarris and they were all identical (I only checked the first 3 discs so far.) So yeah, just wanted to get the info out.

I can only imagine it being someone lucky enough to get a review copy in advance, if you consider it was ripped and fully scanned even before the official release date in Japan. Also, look at the scans of the booklet. He tore out the pages which are glued to the "frame" of the booklet, to get proper scans of that. I can't imagine any collector of VGM willingly ripping apart their soundtracks just to get better scans.

How were you able to scan a six page fold-out booklet on a scanner that is as small as the one I have (which barely has room for a regular booklet)? The images don't look like they have been photoshopped together. Is the scanner actually bigger than what is stated in the description? I've been considering getting a new scanner as well, but the one I already have seems to be the standard size, so I have no idea how it's possible to scan larger stuff on that small a scanner.

I can't imagine any collector of VGM willingly ripping apart their soundtracks just to get better scans.

---------- Post added at 05:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:39 AM ----------

The scans are great n all.. its just suspicious positions on some tracks from what the log file showed. So I was hoping you knew the original ripper so you or I could show him that ripping guide lol.

Also the 6 page fold-out was a bitch, not gonna lie.. but photoshop helped me slap it together.

1. Scan image
2. Open it with photoshop
3. Edit > Transform > Rotate .. get as straight as possible.
4. Scan next image
5. Repeat Steps 2-4 Until you have all parts scanned.
6. Open new blank image big enough to fit all parts (might have to increase canvas size)
7. Piece the parts together on the new space
8. Use the select tool and select all parts as 1.
9. Edit > Copy Merged
10. Ctrl + N .. click OK
11. Save as .jpg quality 10-12 (depending on if its over 5 MB or not, if so lower quality a little).

Ah, that's too bad. That's how I've been doing it myself. They need to make portable scanners slightly larger so you can scan big booklets and vinyl covers in one go. :/

Windows 8 the software isn't an abomination. Its its Metro interface, which isn't an abomination in its own regards; it was designed for touch interfaces, so there are many wasted efficiencies in the interface. Combine with that and every single Window user's muscle memory, makes Windows 8's metro focus a godamn motherfucking cluster-fuck shitty shit shit experience.

But yeah dude, Windows 8 > XP.

But since XP, Microsoft has a period of experiementation, and then revision.

Starting from Windows 95/98's transition to Windows XP. This is at a time when everyone, everywhere doesn't have a computer, internet, connected all the time always. So when there was a rocky transition from 98 to XP, it wasn't really news. Windows XP had auto-installing drivers for many, several pre-existing hardware with very little diversity. After a few years of XP, pretty much most hardware came packaged with XP drivers incase plug and play's auto install wasn't sufficient. Alot of the startup companies that put out hardware peripherals by 2006 likely had little to no experience with OS transitions, or by this time were already out of business (Yes a business can start and fail in a couple of years), had NOT prepared for Vista. Vista came out, in all its glory, and when it worked, it worked well. The problem, all those old hardware had no Vista drivers, and Vista's auto-install, like XP's isn't an exact science, it isn't perfect. People got mad at Microsoft because suddenly all their old accessories and other crap couldn't work, or made the OS fail. This gave Vista a bad impression on everytime, and in 2006, when millions more people have computers, internet, and are getting into social media crazes, Vista's lack of outdated hardware support was somehow Microsoft's fault, and not the manufacturer whose responsibility was to develop Vista drivers. Ever run a PC with vista with working drivers? It runs like butter compared to XP.

Anyways, because of Vista's blunders, that wasn't even it's fault, many manufacturers were already working on Windows 7 drivers during the betas and RC's, as well as Microsoft fine tuning it's auto install, and when Windows 7 came out, suddenly everything worked, because everyone was better-prepared this time around. Windows 7 is really just Windows Vista with better legacy/XP support So Windows XP users should feel great using Windows 7.

Fast forward to Windows 8, and its not terrible, Everything Windows 7 does, Windows 8 can do, sometimes better, and comes with many new features. But like Vista, this is an experimentation period, while Windows 7 is the revision period. Windows 8's only problem is it's interface clusterfuck. If you get around that, you have a pretty good OS on your machine. But not so much better than Windows 7 that the upgrade is required or recommended.

Windows 10 is coming up which is a revision of the previous OS, which will likely fix and improve on some UI blunders that people had to suffer through 8. The current CEO's plan is to bring all versions of Windows (Windows and RT/Mobile) under one roof by making one structure of Windows that can run on all its devices, I don't know how they plan to have their OS run on both x86 and ARM, or how they plan to have the interface work for every device. Oh well, time will tell.

TL;DR: Drop that XP shit and at the very least get 7.

I don't hate Windows XP. Its just that someone using XP to me might feel like someone still using Windows 3.0 or 95 to you.
Another thing, when you're on a newer OS, and you go back to an older system, one of the things you thing "Oh my god did this os really have this many program errors/error reports? How did I ever put up with this in the past?" is what I thought when I went from XP to 98, and then Vista to XP. I wonder if I had the chance to go back to Vista, will I feel the same way again?

Win XP is like having console commands; you tell it what you want it to do and if it resists then you can force it to do whatever you want.

Vista is like using an old mac; you're in the vista experience and if you can manage to actually get something done with it, all the better. Typically involves tricking it into doing what you want it to do.

Win 7 is like being a young adult; you have free reign until it comes to srs business in which case your mom tells you no and BYTFO.

Win 8 is like a midlife crisis; entirely functional, useful features, ways to trick the system if you have a problem but all wrapped up in this new flash and flair that doesn't work for the person at all. May also qualify for "IT'S NOT A PHASE MOM!" Classic Shell basically removes the useless flair wrapping to return to full functionality.

8.1 ????

FWIW most government jobs use/d XP, not sure if that's changed yet or not but last I heard most atms use XP for example

The US Government has to change to a newer OS though (by law) because it's not supportet anymore (disregarding these 2 extra years for extra money thing). Serious Security issues and stuff. ATMs should do the same, but the companys don't wanna spend the money for new hardware (which they will need if they change fromm XP to a newer version) or they have to go with some for of UNIX System (or you know... code your own OS xD).

I always found it weird that the government didn't use their own specialized OS to be more secure, then again it's a lot of work, and might be inefficient for getting work done fast

Yes and ? that mean nothing, everything about virus and many other attacks come first by user idiocies.

Since 2006, I never used any antivirus, disabled all windows shitty firewall..... and never get any trouble (all month I make a virus/malware/spyware day test, nothing found...).

My only 2 virus infection I got in my entire life was coming from usb key shared though multiple area.... Since this, I use a sandbox windows when I need to plug an anonymous usb storage device.

Also, don't forget, attackers always try to attack the most populated one, not the most vulnerable.....

Yes and ? that mean nothing, everything about virus and many other attacks come first by user idiocies.

Also, don't forget, attackers always try to attack the most populated one, not the most vulnerable.....

most viruses are quiet and don't do anything noticeable
it's called spyware and you definitely have tons

just because you don't notice any changes in how your computer functions doesn't mean that nothing is wrong
i guarantee you have spyware on your system
and if you don't use antivirus, there would be no way for you to know if you're infected

Well, ATM, I'm still use Windows XP, its the best windows OS right now, fast, lightweight and no shitty functionality (that nobody use) installed.

Its a OS that only do what you want, nothing less, nothing more.
When XP was released back in 2001 there was a lot of complaints about the bloat too, and how Windows 2000 Pro is the best OS being lightweight and without any shitty functionality that nobody use :p

so far winxp x64 sp2, the better os. Only the directx 10 or 11 left for the games, but i still work with winxp.

This picture made my night. Merci, zaykho!

I personally have Windows 8 (it was the only option available when I was laptop shopping a few months ago). Our university office uses Windows 7. 8 is decent, and I can use it functionally enough, but 7 is probably better and more efficient overall.

Thank you ! :p

Yes its a shame that now, only W8 is distributed with the most majority of laptop. (MS has always pushed hard with price cut for companies to only install these shit and nothing else). And yes, W7 is better when you want to work, faster (less clicks and windows to travel to go where you want), and more compatible with a tons of software/games too.

Looks like a few people here aren't getting speedy new computers anytime soon.
Newer hardware doesn't even have XP drivers written for them :)

Yes, depend of what type of hardware, laptop for example are windows 8 only, founding some driver for 7/Vista or even XP are ridiculously hard (when sometime they didn't even exist), also, computer made only for game tend to have the same behavior, with some newest GPU who have some derp driver (3D/4K/Multiple Screen) using a lot of OS dependencies.

But for the most used device/computer, windows XP/Vista/7 are still common.

I know, but like I have already said, I make a deep test every month (well more a 2/3:1 than 1:1) scanning everything, even those dam rootkits, and, don't trust those antivirus, lot of people think that they have an antivirus so they are immune to any virus infection/attack.

Also, for precise, I work on (and for) a computer shop, where we are doing maintenance and reparation for many customers (including company), so yeah, I know what I'm talking about, using malware byte's, combo fix, hiren's and many more other tools all the day....... :p

I love you !!! :p

Nah, seriously I use right now a windows XP 32 bit because my main laptop is shared between me and my office (still my Sony Vaio [vgn-cr11s], It's a sony !!) so I need to be compatible certified lol !

But my main Workstation (a Dell powerEdge t300 server) is still on XP 64bit (sp1, for games, and an another boot with sp2 [because sp2 xp64 is know to be heavy for games]) with Ramdisk enabled, a pure pleasure. :p

Nothing wrong with XP, so long as the computer is kept offline (hence ATMs still use it, and will for years, with no issue). No computer connected to the internet has any business running XP, though; Microsoft stopped issuing security updates half a year ago, so irrespective of anecdotal experience, if you're still running it you are a liability. Running XP without antivirus is a terrible idea in particular, and quite disturbing advice from a supposed IT professional.

I can understand seeing XP offline, but I see windows 2000 still being used online (for buisness and such), it just irks me a little, and it gets worse with the occasional windows 95 for buisness.

Not really, depending of what you do and how you do it, you can clearly use any OS without any security software/plugin in it.

If you really want to know, I never use windows update (always deactivated, no firewall, no anti virus), I only do the service pack update manually because a lot of software I use need it (Adobe suite, Autodesk suite, emulator etc ...), but never the regular update, so, after the SP3 for my 32bit or SP1/SP2 for my Double 64bit, I never installed any update of any sort.....

Why ?

It's simple, if you go only on a well know site, download stuff only on well know site, and do things with caution, an antivirus will not be needed, BUT, if you do a lot of things without knowing the source, without carrying how and why it's here or not, then, you need something that will do it for you (I mean, take care of what its going on on your comp), and it's called......Antivirus.

An Antivirus is only effective when you don't have the time to know how everything work on your comp/OS (well by everything, I mean the generic function [what goes here, why and how]).

A "supposed IT professional" using an antivirus it's like saying Superman is running with a bodyguard...... it's simply useless and ineffective.

Listen, most of us here have at least a bit of knowledge regarding computers... so I'm not trying to diminish anybody here. It is really not wise to use an older os without any kind of protection, you can do that with newer oses and with full updates (as I do) but older oses without support are really prone to attacks.

A really good example of this was the "Blaster" virus which pretty much turned off your pc by no reason, even whilst having the latest updates. Good old' times.

I have been fixing computers since I was 8, it is ok to have older oses and no protection on offline systems, online sytems though... really unwise.

Yeah, but we all know that 'professional' stems from 'profession', so it basically means that you're already a professional if you just do stuff to earn your daily bread. And I know a lot of people that do a piss poor job for their money. Guess it's not any different here...

…This is unexpected, huh? I can assure you that I didn't originally plan to re-open this thread again, but thanks to the concerns/points raised by a few users (you know who you are), I've decided to re-consider. Keep the fireworks at bay, though, I've some things to say before this place could "get back on track":

I'm honestly disappointed with some of you. You see, I once wrote this:

3rd derail in such a short amount of time... Fine, then.

Right now, I'm closing this thread simply to check what exactly happened this time, stop for a while this shit and discuss with Jessie what to do. Whether the thread will stay temporarily closed, or for good, I guess that decision will be up to Jessie. UPDATE: Change in program, it's up to me to decide when to re-open this thread.

Don't try to re-open a v2.5/v3.0/etcetera... You'd only end up with another closed thread, and the "closing-time" of this one lengthened.

Yugo, my friend, give me the paw and drop the lock.

EDIT:
Let's give this thing one last chance, huh?
Also, let's try to keep this thread mostly a database, it had been demonstrated multiple times that discussions tend to "develop" into shit blown out of proportions. At the first sign of "user-picking", Off Topic (discussions not pertaining lossless and/or soundtracks posted, and so on...) this thing gets closed for good. If you have something to say to a certain user, use the Private Message feature or any other kind of instant messaging tool you have at your disposal.

Leon out.
It's no secret that despite such message, I still found myself intervening to stop off topic discussions, over time; while some users were actually unaware of such "ultimatum", the same didn't apply to others.

Let's drag the subject a bit, Leon will come, stop this. We'll stay calm for a while and later do it again.

Perhaps, some of you thought that since my promotion to "Moderator" was still fresh, at the time, you could avoid to take me seriously.
Unfortunately for you, I'm the kind of person which takes his assignments (regardless of their nature) very seriously, this not because I've been victim of childhood trauma, nor because I suffer from some kind of inferiority-complex and I have to take it out on random folks over the Internet which, quite frankly, I don't give a damn about. It boils down to this: I've been entrusted with a position here, which requires I take certain actions, when I think the situation calls for them. See the 5 letters I've bolded? I value such thing greatly, and I'm trying to honour it the best way I can. By the way.…

I did trust you once, already, and despite thinking I'm stupid for trying it again, after what happened, I also want you to prove me wrong. It's obvious that most recent developments showed I have absolutely no second thoughts about "seeing my threats through", hm? This thread isn't (nor it should) act as a place where you and your small circle of friends get to chat about whatever topic comes up. I'd like to stress that the title of the thread is: The Lossless Video Game Soundtrack Thread v2, because of legacy and the way Zodiacmaster set it up, its main purpose is to act as a neatly-organized database of lossless encodes, nothing else, really.

So, in light of recent events, I'd like to enforce stricter rules (with the dual goal of containing damage and ensuring innocent users don't get screwed over the stupidity/carelessness of a few):

- Most kind of messages not related to soundtracks (in the form of album-shares, requests, comments) will be deemed as being "off topic", and dealt with accordingly.
- If you don't know how to deal with certain encodes which get shared (whether because of file-formats, or the way they are done), you are welcome to ask for help/clarifications.
- Now, I shouldn't remind you of this, but given how things went last time, I don't wanna take any chances and be completely straightforward: you are welcome to discuss other subjects, just not here in this thread. The forum offers other sections which are certainly more fit to hold chat.
-If you find yourself unsure about what to post, few words of advice: pick the safest route and avoid to post.

It was once brought up that things around here wouldn't be as fun, without this stuff, well… Flash-news: things don't have to be fun all the time. If you have questions about this latest message of mine, feel free to contact me privately. Don't clutter the thread.

Gotta work now, later. Don't fail me again, please.

I've been wondering, has a Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) soundtrack ever been released? The reason I ask is because I've found a 320 kbps soundtrack elsewhere on this site and I doubt the Genesis outputs in 320 kbps, so it must not have been a game rip, but then again...

They've modded the hell out of the best genesis they could find. They prefer it because it sounds more true to the system than the VGM format does; personally I think VGM sounds better clarity-wise. Though, being as it's so modded, it's slightly questionable that it really is true to the system.

With my awsum abilities I see in the future and can predict that Nintendo will release a soundtrack of "Zelda: Majora's Mask 3DS".
I'm really looking forward to it. The game and the soundtrack.

Found this on a buddy's computer on the weekend while i was sifting through his Torrent downloads from the previous week...

Quick lossless audio check verified it as genuine, that was good enough for me to add it to my collection and upload it here.

Thanks cooljacker for the clarification, shame such a good OST's Lossless Release is hidden on a rather obscure (to me at least) website.

Hmmm... I'm having trouble signing up to that 16-bit audiophile project site. Whenever I click on the link they emailed me, it says activation key is incorrect! How can I sign up?

Edit: Nevermind, it ended up actually working. They also addressed this issue in the FAQ, so I'm glad I'm not the only one with that problem.

The Green Grove Songs are shorter than the original. GGZ2 for example is 4mins and this cd? is cutting parts of the song.. so prefer the original Sonic 3D Blast vgm rip still.

---------- Post added at 01:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:49 AM ----------

They've modded the hell out of the best genesis they could find. They prefer it because it sounds more true to the system than the VGM format does; personally I think VGM sounds better clarity-wise. Though, being as it's so modded, it's slightly questionable that it really is true to the system.

...............................
You are absolutely correct, dude. My 320 kbps Sonic 3D Blast tracks sound much, MUCH clearer than the 3200 kbps 9624 tracks from the 16-bit audiophile project. What's up with that?! Even my old 128 kbps files sound better! They're just using a placebo effect, and it sure as heck worked on me. :/
EDIT: THEY SOUND SO HORRIBLE I CAN'T GET OVER IT!!!!

With that said, I'm looking for the Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles soundtracks in FLAC (obviously not the 16-bit audiophile soundtracks). Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Oh, and also Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine if possible... The multiplayer music's the best.

Problem with that is that Green Grove Act 2 actually loops at 4:12 and that it starts from the very beginning of the loop. As far as I know, it's still the longest looped song from the entire Sonic Series. Second place is the first final boss theme from both versions of Sonic Colors at 3:55 per loop.

Yeah it loops properly but was just explaining that around that point is where song shows different instruments that aren't in the vgmdb release that's all.. Yes it is one hell of a long song .. for a Sonic theme.

Are you sure the plugin installed correctly? Make sure it is listed under File>Preferences>Components. Secondly, does the set require a driver.psflib file? It must be in the same directory to work. Barring that...try some other sets, if it's not the plugin then that set in particular is bad (try redownloading just to check?)

I have no idea. I'm very new to this sort of thing.

I have no idea. I'm very new to this sort of thing.

For the sake of convenience, I've uploaded a portable foobar2000 config that can play PSF files for you to use. Included is a sample PSF soundtrack that you can use to verify that the config does indeed play PSF files. Use this config package with the PSF files that you wanted to play and if playback issues persist, inform me and we'll try to sort it out.

I know that what I've done here is fairly simple in the realm of foobar2000 related matters, as Despair will see, but I find that the biggest obstacle that foobar2000 has is a severe lack of documentation with regard to its components and advanced features. The documentation that is out there is poorly concieved and is ususally translated from another language so clarity issues are prone to rise up. These issues unfortunately make foobar2000 a program that can only be completely understood as one uses it with time, and in today's tech-centric society where people just want their gadgets and products to just work (looking at you Driveclub & Halo MCC), that can turn people off from foobar2000. Hopefully, as aces4839 uses this config package to see what works and what doesn't, he can learn more through his first hand use of foobar2000 than if he had read some crummy documentation in engrish.

For anyone who cares to know (with this being the internet, probably nobody):
I've been using foobar2000 for 3-4 years now and have amassed a library of 323 components for the player and had slowly been creating my own custom config (from reverse engineering another person's config) over the span of 2 years (before my HDD stopped working). I consider myself to be an advanced F2K user but by no means an expert.

Foobar2000 PSF Config

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Update: I tried the one I downloaded from here with a Xenogears file and it worked. I then proceeded to download one of the ones from Zophar's Domain and I got the same error I did with the other foobar2000 I have, so the problem there lies within the music file itself. Is there a site where I can get the psf files without running into errors?

I used a Final Fantasy Tactics file, if you were wondering.

Final Fantasy Tactics (1997-06-20)(Square) (http://psf.joshw.info/f/Final%20Fantasy%20Tactics%20(1997-06-20)(Square).7z)

They all play back fine in foobar2000 v1.3.5 with foo_psf v2.0.38.

I checked with the site Emuparadise and their Final Fantasy Tactics Soundtrack doesn't have errors.

There are people on this forum far more knowledgeable about vgm native formats than I am who can most likely direct you to bettter vgm databases with more subtantial PSF packs. I prefer official soundtrack releases and only rely on gamerips/vgm formats when the situation warrants it, such as a game that never gets an OST or the OST doesn't contain all the tracks from the game (eg. Xenosaga Episode 3).

In the case of the Final Fantasy Tatics PSF soundtrack that Emuparadise has, I don't know if it has all the tracks from the game since I never played it but I know the one for Xenogears is missing tracks, so I take it that this issue somewhat common with PSF packs. Again, there are others here that can be more helpful in finding more 'complete' or better PSF sources.

Tried a file, did not play. The one was 901 Apoplexy. Same case with the emuparadise one.

If you say other PSFs (Xenogears) play, then surely all the dependencies to play PSFs are there and properly installed. It's starting to sound like an issue with your unpacking software (Zophar usually doesn't touch files from what I can tell, so the archives are probably identical). If you haven't already - try the latest stable version of 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) since that's what it was most definitely archived with.

Time for a (probably) impossible request!
Sonic 2 Rearranged Hedgehog Heaven. I read on the site that this wasn't released as a FLAC, but that was quite some time ago... Maybe they decided it was time to FLAC us all with a better quality album?
Anyway, if anyone has them in FLAC, or even MP3 (higher than 128 kbps, mine are 128 kbps and sound meh) please let me know!

Like a lot of early OCR stuff, I can guarantee they deleted the source files a long time ago. I think Hedgehog Heaven was pre-FLAC days, or at least pre-FLAC-being-used-as-commonly-as-now days. Same goes for Project Chaos (which is a greater crime against music imo).

Oh, it's an OCR remix? I didn't get it from OCR and it's been so long since I got it so I forgot it was an OCR.
Based on what Hosok said, I remember it being released in 2002 so unfortunately I doubt there'll be a FLAC version. Don't want to make an account just to ask. :/

Yeah, not worth it. I recall browsing the OCR forums and reading this same discussion, re: Project Chaos (the Sonic 3 / Sonic & Knuckles album). Composers who actually worked on the project straight up said "nope, don't have the master files anymore woops". I can guarantee the same is true of Hedgehog Heaven.

Hey, just redownload the audio files. I've had issues with winamp several times including right now where it simply won't play my files (minigsm in this games, also vgm in the past) from zophar's domain. I just redownloaded and re-extracted and voila, it worked.

Actually… (http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=15863&st=0&p=325384&#entry325384)

For the entire album, it'd be anniversaries or similar occasions for them to have interest for a remake from scratch then.

The lossless you've all been waiting for.

It's worth noting that Track #2, 14 and 43 on Sen II's Master release are 96khz/24bit. The rest are 48/24.

I think it's interesting that Falcom is now just straight up releasing the master versions of their soundtracks as
data files at the same time as distributing the physical soundtracks. That's why there's no log or cue on this one.

^I'm sure someone on rutracker.org has Assassin's Creed II, if you want it. The only problem is, if i remember correctly, it was an image file that needed to be split into separate tracks with foobar2000.

This one is more of a mirror than anything. There's a copy here in this thread but it's hosted on a site some countries aren't able to access. This is my own copy, not a re-upload.
I should note that I totally forgot to rearrange the "folder.jpg" file in there with the appropriate one included in the scans. Not a big deal though.
Tags are Japanese, cover here is the Japanese version, but if you wanted the already sized up and properly cropped english version here it is:

Still no luck, the only way to get it, it seems, would be the AC Complete Soundtrack with all AC games 1-4 all in FLAC, but I don't like the other soundtracks and just want the soundtrack from the second game.

Sorry I didn't see what this was in response to, but by AC did you mean Armored Core?

Well I'm a bit bored so I can take a request out of my collection here (http://vgmdb.net/db/collection.php?do=view&userid=8658) with the exception of any DDR title :)

how about Beatmania Resort anthem? I've been trying to find flacs of some of the series, mainly Red and Gold, but Resort Anthem has some nice tracks
