The ones that are sealed, other people have ripped their own copy, so no point of me opening them. There are already lossless copies for subscribers of every one of those shown in that video, regardless if I have opened them or not.

It would be beyond awesome if Nintendo includes the FireRed/LeafGreen soundtrack in Pokemon Red/Blue as an optional soundtrack to listen to when playing. Hopefully you can also play with SGB colours.

Oh BTW, there is 1 mistake i noticed with the naming, Song 19 on Disc 2 of DoA3 should be --> 19. Look Ahead [ハヤブサ].flac and NOT 19. Look Ahead [ハヤブササエンディング].flac as for some reason 2 tracks were both labelled as Hayabusa endings.

Both (DOA3 + DOAU) links are dead. Is it possible to re-up both OSTs? Thank you!

Mmmh, weird... I used the method provided by Vegeta in his guide (and I proceeded using the same method for every rip).
I'll try to rip it once again tommorow and see if the result is better.

Hum... what happened? I downloaded the same files, made a conversion to Nero AAC with dbpoweramp. It always stop if there something wrong with the encode. Not a single track had errors. I checked every track and the same track you pointed out. My waveform is different. Could it be something on your side?

I too just downloaded them as is. What I meant is, a lot of studio albums don't have tracks cut properly with exact digital silence, instead leaving tiny noises in between (which can be seen by zooming in heavily on the Y-axis).

Strangely, all tracks in this DBCS disc have such noises only at the beginng, but not the end.

About Dariusburst... I was stupid and bought the Vita version, with ultra HD in small screen, parts of the game are literally unplayable because the text is so small you can't even read it... :(

Mmmh, weird... I used the method provided by Vegeta in his guide (and I proceeded using the same method for every rip).
I'll try to rip it once again tommorow and see if the result is better.

Running a 1gbps Ethernet Port, then using a Wifi antenna that came with my motherboard (Asus Rampage IV black edition).. using 5.0ghz wifi with it.. I have 2 Cable boxes both combined together using Connectify Dispatch program. Each cable box separately gets around 300 Mbps, but the main line to the house caps out before 600 Mbps, so maybe next time they upgrade ill see an improvement.

Well technically, when moving in to the "black" area, you character would fall (since their is no collisions system here), but I disabled the "Fall gravity" for testing purpose.

About Gravitrek, even I can't put an estimated date, I must say that we are now working on the PSON Alpha, so soon a really playable version, from the title menu to character creation, to lobby and finally to forest (with monsters, weapons etc...) .

When this Alpha will be done and running, I will focus on Gravitrek 100%, since the game code will be nearly achieved I will be able to finish the site.

Oh, about players, yes, they will have a tons ready for that, Pso community is still strong, and to be honest, they are a lot of PSO users that doesn't play the game right now because they got everything they can. Having a new version with total support to mod, new items, maps and monsters will make them happy and wanting to go back to it.

So yeah, since I'm still playing PSObb in Ultima, I can tell that the demand is high. :)

Ps: also, we are not doing that only for one game, we taking time because we need to find a good architecture to let being able to remaster more games in the future, like many Xbox original games (Otogi, Jet set radio futur, pgr2 etc...) but also other great games like, Saga frontier 2, FF8, FF9, grandia2, Front mission 3, Donald Maui Mallard etc..

We are just porting and then remastering the game in HTML, that mean you will be able to play PSO in your browser, in all platform/hardware/OS that support Webgl, like any linux, windows, mac, IOS, android, and even console like PS4 etc...

By the same time, the game will be upgraded, more features, weapons, maps, quests, story, classes etc...

The main concept started in 2014. (DOAX html started back in 2012 though)

At this time, either Three.js, HTML5 and Webgl was still new in regard of 3D performance and compatibility, Three.js was still undocumented for some deep 3D game mechanics, and the performance was not that great. I took me months to design and test a good physic system that can work without decreasing the performance at all, even with +30 models in one map. (that physic system is not actually used in the page test, simply to protect against copy. It will be used only in the last Beta)

Also, since 5/6 months, we are achieving some good progress, almost 70% of all the game is reversed, and right now, the Alpha is in a good way.

So, no, we will not get bored of this. :]

The Work It Out 12" in your sig is something I've been looking for for a while... If I ever come across it I'll be sure to needledrop it and share. Same for any other vinyl soundtracks I come across, it would be nice to have HQ rips of some of them done on a high end setup. None of those in particular unfortunately but this seems like a great community, I'm sure some of those will turn up :) The closest thing I have to the Sonic R Soundtrack release is the audio from the Saturn game disc itself... It's stored on disc as redbook audio (able to be played or ripped as a standard CD) and believe it or not it has significantly more tracks than the actual standalone album release does, due to the menu music, win/lose fanfare, vocal/instrumental versions, etc. it just doesnt have those remixes that are tacked on the end of that album.

Well they aren't my rips so.. people can tag them however they please. .. mp3tag is a good program to use, although I can't do it for you.

foobar has this rename thing, you can name a file thanks to its tags, or tag files thanks to a "guessing" pattern (let's say %album% - %tracknumber% as an example)

Youn can convert (ALT+1 ) from tags to filename. Use %track% - %title%

The easiest thing to do to correct the tags would probably be just burning the audio to disc, allow EAC to get the proper tags for all the tracks and just re-rip it. If you burn properly you should end up with a copy digitally identical to the original, meaning there will be no difference between ripping your disc or ripping the original. You can verify this by getting good accuraterip results and crcs that match the log of the original rip

Ok, well, I was aware of this (they did put a big poll some weeks ago, about what people wanted, erase everything or keep everything and try to overpass the limitation.), still, I didn't though it will have a so big impact. Here in France, t411 (a well know french tracker, like Rutracker) did got the exact same thing (being limited by Network Provider), still it did have no impact on the speed.

I'm getting worried about this. Rutracker was a damn good place for all type of music, even for some old classical, jazz, disco and more obscure weird shit. Browsing Rutracker was like browsing the whole 20th century in one site lol.

Hate to be a beggar, but has anyone seen a rip of the CLOCK TOWER 20th Anniversary Sound Collection box around yet? Even a lossy rip would be fine. Just the last track on disc 1 would suffice actually, if anyone has it. Just don't give me a gamerip, please. :P I know they have a sample of it on clarice disc's website, but it's missing a crucial part.

Awesome. I'm fine with the scans on VGMdb personally since I mostly use them for information. And yeah, I'm really just interested in the last track on disc 1 atm. I've been contemplating buying the box myself for a few weeks, but I wanted to see if they fixed a badly looped string sample (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKUhC8EtX5s&t=1m10s) before I decided on it, since that's probably my favorite track in the series. But I can wait if you'd rather release the whole box.

Yeah, it is a shame. But this will probably be the best (and only) release we'll get of it any time soon.

I will say in advance that the Deadly Premonition soundtracks are also not of great quality, but it's the best you can get. The audio was very badly compressed even on disc for the game, and the CD release isn't much better.

Can I just say how awesome Vegeta is? I think we all owe him a million thanks :) Not only did I find the things I was specifically looking for but I found all these things I've wanted for years that I could never afford to buy on the 2nd hand/import market, and all these things I didn't even know existed. I've been playing these all week and loving them, they'll be a valued part of the digital library for a lifetime.
That arranged Super Mario Land soundtrack is pretty neat. Turns out my parrot really likes hearing that one, so I'll be playing that one quite a bit hahah. Little guy went nuts for it, started dancing and singing along with it.

You'll probably have it faster than me, I preordered through Amazon so I would have had it on day 1… but then I changed my preorder when they said the CD was a GameStop exclusive, and there's no way I'm going to be able to make it to pick it up on release day (Coheed & Cambria/Glassjaw playing Madison Square Garden that night so I'll be making the trip to nyc) but I'll get it the morning after for sure.


The Pokemon CD... Details are a little scarce on any English websites and usually badly translated from the press release rather than any info from a more insightful source. Some say it's going to be exclusive to the preorder of the limited new 3ds, but only for the blue one. Some say it's going to be available for purchase separately. Some say 1 CD with just pokedex cries (I'm not even sure this is possible) some say 2 CDs… lots of conflicting details and the language barrier certainly isn't helping, but I'm trying to have someone find out some more concrete information and maybe even pick one up for me if at all possible. Only a few weeks till it'll be out so there has to be more details sooner or later

So I use winamp on both my laptop and my desktop. I was wondering if there's an easy way to use playlists made from, say, my desktop on my laptop? The files and folder structure are identical on both devices.

I know I can just use notepad++'s "replace all" function to replace my desktop's username with my laptop's username, and I've done this for all my playlists so far. However, just wondering if there's an easier way? Maybe through a winamp plugin or something, idk.

Totally understand. It was implied in the direct that it was something that would be included with all pre-orders, with no hint of retail exclusivity. I pre-ordered it immediately based on that, actually only to get the soundtrack since I really have no interest in playing the game. I feel that they really should have been more clear on it, or maybe just announce it at a later date when the finer details were ironed out, if they were still in the process of inking a deal with GameStop at the time.

Just to be sure, Cyberfox is a different version of Firefox, right? What's the difference between it and waterfox, is waterfox just 64-bit while cyberfox works better with weak processors?

I cannot disagree with you hahaha I've never been able to get into them, mainly because of that. Going mainly for GJ, I figure this is probably one of my last chances but Coheed is definitely the bigger draw/more popular. For some reason.

Does anyone know how many tracks are going to be on the Twilight Princess HD OST? I'm fearful they're going to do like they did with the 2006 OST and only make it a 7-track sampler CD.

Currently there is still nothing official, but I strongly suspect that the TP HD OST will have about as many songs as the Wind Waker HD OST.

Well I would say, a Wii U soundtrack doesn't sound like a 3DS soundtrack, If you mean theat. ;)
For me, I want a good detailed(?) soundtrack, but not overorchestrated.

I think they have to have wised up to the fact that in the past 10 years there has been considerable demand for this game's soundtrack. If they're paying for a production run of a promotional item this time around (at a time when they're hurting for cash a bit more than they were when the Wii was released) I imagine that they'll make an effort to cram in as much as they can. I'd imagine 20+ tracks. They have been better with their soundtracks in the past few years, so I can give them credit where it's due. It costs them just as much to put out a 70 minute cd as it does to make a 15 minute CD, it wouldn't make sense to put out something that isn't substantially different from what we've had before. Perhaps even a waste of money.





...but if it is the 7 track CD I'll return it on the spot, they can keep their game lmao

It's not even in a jewel case, just a sleeve, something that is more typically done with sampler albums or singles. Also I haven't heard that Japan is getting this OST, which further heightens my concerns about this album just being a bare minimum job.

Well, I must admit that, from japan at least, we get less and less memorable OST from video-games.

Right now, even by looking in this thread, you can see that we are far from the golden age of great Soundtracks.

More and more, I need to dig and search hard to know what to listen when working, it wasn't like this back prior 2007/2008.

I finally end up listening the same thing over and over, even with 1 Tb of music.......

God damn, need to admit it, it was better before !
