Since I could only get the trailer stems in mono, I figured I should do my best to recreate the sound mix in stereo.

I'm making two versions: one that has the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' simply mixed the way it is in the trailer, and another that adds in all The Hit House's expert sound design (hits, whooshes, bullets flying, etc.)

I have a vinyl copy of the song that DAK gave me which I'd like to use for at least one portion, but the clicks are a bit too distracting to use. :erm:

I tried using Audacity's Click Removal tool as well as the Draw tool, but neither worked especially well.

I beleve we have a couple vinyl editors here.

YOu might need to use a different editor like Adobe or Sony for additional plugins or their proprietary plugins.

Pops and clicks will be hard to remove or minimize.
The main goal for vinyl editing is to lessen hiss without destroying the higher notes of actual music.

If the source is available elsewhere like SACD, DVD-A, digital hi-res, that would be better.
Last resort, look for a CD rip that isn't brickwalled.

Bluray screenshot with avisynth, converted to 48-bit RGB~
16 bits per plane. Y=16bit, U=16bit, V=16bit (16+16+16=48).
The intermediate tif was 16bit and imported to Adobe PS CC2014 to erase background.

It's not that clean. I could have went in, pixel-by-pixel to clean it up. But if you zoom in, you can see which parts are difficult to keep clean.

and apply the associated Cover if it has one.

I love when the files are out in the open, or easy to get to. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, or most of the Lego games are perfect examples of that.

It's awesome.
A very strong remake that gets praise. Which is rare for remakes.

Sensational concept of real cowboys.
The cast is stellar. Right down to the son, played by Logan Lerman.
They don't ride like amateurs. You really feel like you are watching a real western.
The commentary is insightful, too.
Great sound design, awesome score by Beltrami.

I want to import a bluray from Japan as that's the best picture quality verison out there.

Then I would base it on whether or not you want to do any sort of editing with it in the future.
Vanilla listening, iTunes would more than suffice.

That's a consideration I've weighed should the sessions leak… and I just clicked the button.

Heck, even the youtube community should be able to offer something.

When I used to do trailer and video edits, keeping up with some of the other editors, you eventually see that some will do favors for each other and give credit in the description.
I don't know if that's still a thing these days though. Plenty of fresh blood just getting the newest Adobe master works collection are eager to play.

If you don't get killed by a level 7 Jane while looking at your inventory two minutes into the match, it is a crapton of fun, especially with friends. I got together with three of my friends and we kicked ass, tamed a couple of Rex's, got metal armour and guns all within the 90 minute time limit.

Survival of the Fittest is just 100% stress, no breaks. There's events like The Swarm, where 50 Dragonflies spawn within 10 metres of each player, Super Loot Crate where people race to the middle to get free guns or armour or something, and even a giant spider called the Broodmother spawns, ready to be tamed and ridden by people who can then just kill everything they see.





And there's a dragon. Which can be tamed. And breathes fire. And kills everything. And is scary. And killed me once.

Got them though.

They're not easy sometimes, especially playing on a server with 80+ people all attacking + harvesting + killing them all with over 200+ latency. xD

I got a friend who tries to stream some of her xbox games on Twitch once in awhile. But consoles don't let you capture the whole team chat really.
So its only partially fun to watch. The other people she's playing with really have to use their characters to be funny.

You'd have to get every single person involved to capture their own gaming for you to edit.
That's like a week long editing project.

PC is easy peasy when it's built for it.

Well that's because the game files isn' lossless. Its ogg. Any game that uses the Wwise sound engine will be ogg.

But unlike most Wwise games, its a high quality ogg. Most of the files are even 5.1 surround sound! :D
