I pretty much know how the story goes from Episode 1 to Episode 6, lol and the movie could pretty much be standalone because everything refering to the classic movies, you know from the many references in other shows or movies. Trust me, it's okay. I'll see the original trilogy this new week.

I give it a 8/10. It's pretty good, actually. It is true Star Wars. Without the melodrama that George Lucas made it (even though I may like the prequels when I see them or don't think they are as bad). The score it's pretty good, I've given my first impressions in the download thread. The movie's story it's pretty good.. everyting of it is quite good. It's impressive sometimes. It's hard to believe, that this movie was 90% done in CGI yet it's all so believable and so true. Way more than Jurassic World, seriously, how is this possible? I also get what people would call similarities to A New Hope - but I don't think they're much of a big deal and the whole movie isn't driven around that - nor is it a blatant copy of it. What else is to expect, really? The evil guys attack again, how do you expect to get them..? Yes there's similarities to that movie, I get them, but this movie still is very nice as a standalone movie, works perfectly.. everything of it's so cool, so good. The story, the music, the cinematography, the CGI.. the acting.. fantastic. And you know what? It just started. You can judge by that cliffhanger - that the best is yet to come.. hate having to wait til 2017 and 2019, years don't really pass as fast as we think.

Have you already read what I said about the score and John Williams in the download thread? We have to stop seriously expecting him at his age to keep making super masterpieces of opera scores, I mean, come on, he's done everything already, he has more than 10 masterpiece scores, he's already done everything, now he's just at normal composing levels.

I didn't want a masterpiece, I wanted some very basic, hummable themes.

It's great to listen to, but as I said, it didn't seem to fall in line with previous scores in the series.

Like I said, the man is 83, the man has already composed a lifetime of beautiful memorable scores - we can't just squeeze more of him. Be thankful that he still composes, which is what he adores, and is still a nice score nonetheless. Every score of his doesn't have to be a darn Indiana Jones, or Jaws.

I'm surprised he still composes at such an age... he really loves the craft. He's looking pretty healthy too.

I am trying to figure out as to why Handbrake isn't reading my TDK Blu-ray. That's step 1. Step 2 is ripping it clean without any hiss (as others have failed to do so). Step 3 is then importing that into my film mix and getting the damned thing done already.

I have no idea. I went over to the house cause my mom's of has a Blu-ray drive (yet my Mac doesn't, wtf lol) and now I'm sitting here trying to figure out why it's not reading. Both Skelly and hack3rman ripped their copies of the Blu-ray and got hiss. So now in trying it. Only I can't even get past step 1 >:/

I know why. Handbrake doesnt include Blu-Ray Decryption. So it can properly read the Blu-Ray disc itself. I suggest using a free trial of MakeMKV. It includes Blu-Ray decryption.

Or DVDFab Passkey. There was unlimited Black Friday offer.

The software and the user interface is kinda clunky. Plus you can use a lot of these features with free software (Minus the Blu-Ray decryption of course).

For Blu-Ray decryption I used AnyDVD HD.
And for Ripping I use MakeMKV or eac3to
And for encoding I just use Handbrake.

AnyDVD HD and MakeMKV isnt free. But you can rip Blu-Rays with eac3to for free if you dont want to buy MakeMKV (But MakeMKV is so much more convenient. eac3to requires a little bit of DOS knowledge to use. But once you learn the commands its pretty simple.)

Also, MakeMKV comes with its own Blu-Ray decryption, but it isn't updated as frequently as AnyDVD HD.

And Handbrake provides so much more customization for your encode than DVDFab does, and its FREE!

Letters!! I loved writing letters back and forth. In high school, I would leave little notes for this person I liked and then they would leave notes for me when I wasn't around. We did this for months before actually speaking. It was so cute.

I never did that in high school. There's a lot of tings I never did in high school that I regret now. I never rebelled or yelled at any of my teachers (save for one outburst Senior year, in which I received a round of applause from my classmates, as I was quiet and known for being a goodie too-shoes), never skipped class, never got roudy and out of control. I miss high school. Oh, to go back in time....

Admittedly I had just finished playing through Halo 5 and wanted the soundtrack. I've stumbled upon this website a lot in the past, but, the poster (zaralith?) wanted to PM links instead of posting the links on the thread. I then noticed the Avenger's: Age of Ultron Expanded Score, and needed an account to view that link.. so I made one! I honestly think I probably already had an account here a long long time ago, but I couldn't remember it for the life of me, probably attatched to some obscure email I made as a teenager. I remember my login details this time for sure, haha.

What do I like? Hmm, well there are a lot of things I like. Music is something I love. I think I remember James P.Sullivan saying he plays the violin a few pages back, I play Piano myself, but have longed to learn a string instrument. Violin, probably. But Cello sounds nice too. I love video games, mostly RPGs, I'm not much of a first person shooter but a good campaign goes a long way, like Halo 5. (A lot of people hated it but I loved it). Ehh, I collect hardcover books, because I hate paperback? :P I love movies, board games (especially Yahtzee, Snakes & Ladders & Monopoly). I tend to have obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to organization but it's not that bad, I promise ;) I love movie scores but have only recently come to learn about "Recording Sessions"? (Thanks to this place).

One of the only reasons I can think of it being delayed or cancelled.

Most Of The Rides Are Closed For Referb Over Christmas, Plus Some Referb In The Hotel Over the Period Aswell.

I had the 2004 Sony Classical releases, I had the 2007 30th anniversary releases, the Anthology releases (I actually have these), the Sony Classical Prequel Trilogy releases (including Episode I UE), Episode I complete score, Shadows of the Empire, Lego Star Wars, Knights of The Old Republic, The Old Republic. Part of the reason I have all these is because of the covers. I like the 2004 Original Trilogy covers, but I also just love how the Original 70s and 80s release covers are for the 30th anniversary collection. Ridiculous I know. :p

Kind of went off on a rant there, didn't I? I apologize. :laugh:
