Basically, I made a hate thread directed towards LordDSP when he got temporarily banned (being lifted today). It was made when I was really out of it and wasn't really the best idea, even if he needs a few lessons learned. In a way, I'm glad it's gone, since it removes a rather malice intended thread, made for hate. But at the same time, it would've been a good example of me being off at certain points in life and needing to learn from it.

At least it ended with all of us being goofs. Best feeling to have, especially considering it's original intent.

Testing out Sennheiser's Momentum (M2). I'm really digging these. Autobahn is sounding its best right now. With the price being as high as it is, I'll definitely wait a year or two to buy them. My money will have grown by quite a bit then. Besides, I'm quite happy with my much cheaper Superlux HD668B for now, since that sounds great enough for my needs.

After 4 months, I just created my interactive music quiz (an old dream), that I can tell modestly it is nothing less than the ultimate quiz ever created on YouTube!
The idea was to calculate your own score for you, for this: 50 interactive videos and at the end... a mini game which should please you, and should allow you to test your movie soundtracks knowledge.
So, try it, like it and share it !

It was fine! I didn't pass out watching Lady and the Tramp but I could barely believe I was in the cinema watching it. It was a nice fine 35mm print and was wonderful. Pity it wasn't a Cinemascope copy, but the projection filled the widscreen nicely anyway. Nobody offered me the 50 disc DragonHeart sessions, btw.

I take it you don't care to have Danny Elfman's Alice In Wonderland sessions, since I had quite the rant in that thread. It was pretty cool! My feet killed me a lot but it was fun! Barcelona is pretty nice! And Lady and the Tramp and Lawrence of Arabia in the cinema were amazing, I could barely believe it :)

Something similar happened to me once. I was coasting along the Venice Beach bike path without a care in the world until I took a turn into a wash of sand, and instead of taking the handlebar in my face as I spilled to the ground, I chose to extend my left arm, and�SNAP�there was my radius poking out.

The only side-benefit was that I was treated to the Baywatch experience. And a fine looking young rescuer he was.

Yeah, it's a neat feature to have.

But it's kind of cumbersome for those who don't intend to watch on PC.
You'd need a 25ft connector to sit back and relax with it. Or wireless.

Home Media and bluray on PC is way too primivite today.
Only PowerDVD + Arcsoft's TotalMediaTheater 'TMT' (now defunct) can support bluray menus.
Other players like MPC variants don't really like menus at all.

For PC, you really have to know what you're extracting. They got a nice idea but anti-piracy really gets in the way. :erm:

In fact I knew it would not be easy, but I can not tell how. I almost gave up. Nothing was working with YouTube (which is not really made for that).
I will regularly make updates to offer more choice, even if it already contains over a hundred samples.

The threads are being moved out of the public's eye, might as well be deleted because nobody but staff can access the threads.
So that should solve searching for new content with live links. :)

People who aren't regulars or read the entire thread would be forced to use the request section.

I tried to consolidate mulitple links to the first page. It was handy for the biggest releases with most active users posting their own links.

The easiest thing anyone can do his hit "reply" without reading the first post and ignoring every other post in the thread.
The second easiest thing to do is for people to say "look at post ##" without quoting said post, thus forcing users to search endlessly when people can have different settings to view threads (some have 10 posts per page, some have one million posts per page). :rolleyes:

Getting ready to convert a D-Theater copy of True Lies to DVD.

I took some time to translate a processing script for Avisynth. It was in Russian so ran it through Google Translate.
For the most part, it translated very well. I finally understand how the processing script works.
I also managed to update it so it can be processed in all YUV planar colorspaces, including Y8.
And since one of the plugins for Avisynth that it depends upon can be used in 16-bit stacked processing, this old script I just translated and updated can now be used in not only planar colorspaces, but now in 16-bit stacked, as well!
Maximum efficiency! And much better results, imo. The results are visible.

I want to do a 720p encode and a DVD encode.
A couple weeks, since the script I'm using is using the slowest and most accurate processing possible.
