OS updates scare me.

El Capitan screwed my hard drive up, but I eventually found a fix.

No, I don't use adblocks, though I wish I did, I don't really trust 'em, couple of times I've seen adblocks actually give you more ads or get you all kinds of shitty viruses.

After TASM2 and me not wanting to share with some people (I can't believe it's come to that), I'm done posting my own edits. Commercial things, sure I'll still share those (Lost River coming later today), but anything that I spend weeks on I'm done publicly sharing.

That may be part of it, another reason may be certain instigators (one who I've several times already sent away with his tail between his legs) who only show up like that's what they live for. There are other reasons. But it doesn't matter, I've made my decisions.

Same here. But I don't compose. I guess you could say I "work with music almost every day". Yet film is what I want to work with. That's my dream. Something in the music industry would be my fallback. My Plan B

Well I guess that's what you think, but Zaralyth enjoys music a lot, so he loves it. I enjoy music a lot, so I love it. In fact, one time he was looking for something to listen to, I posted some of MY own composed short demos, and he really enjoyed them. He commented on how he had listened to one of them over 20 times. I made something that someone else really liked. Anyone who REALLY enjoys music, truly loves it. If not, why are we here? I first came for the music, but I then discovered an interesting community, a great one, meaning you guys. :)

All it takes is a few emails to the right people, you can get anything you want. Make all the friends you need, instead of sitting around here waiting for things to leak, trying going out there into the real world and finding it.

Perfection. Reminds me of a sub I had in Jr High and High School that every student loved. He was an old man, at times cranky, but hilaroius and entertaining. He cared about the students. Every now and then he'd get off-topic of what we were supposed to be learning and he'd yell at us to "get off our asses and get jobs and go do something in life" instead of sitting around lol.

Going to finish doing a hybrid test encode of Interstellar.

The wormhole scene.
All IMAX scenes will be converted to 59p(rogressive) (60,000/1,001).
And the 2.35:1 AR scenes will be kept at 23p(rogressive) (24/1.001).

I thought maybe do it in interlace for a 59i(nterlace) file, but that would cause too many headaches.
So I looked up a method that might work.

Will need some volunteers to test out on VLC Media Player or whatever they use today.
I got half of it done. Just need to encode all the segments then join them up and see if audio synchs.

The show is really funny from what I've seen of it: a couple episodes.

I believe Netflix uses the censored cuts.

The DVD sets out there should be fully uncensored with more gags and funnies.

The bluray set is also censored and shortened.
They also blew up the image to widescreen. You can see the tape markers on the ground for where the actors should move to/stand, etc.
You can see equipment in the background. You can see extras standing still until the 4:3 "frame shot" moves closer to them, then they start to move.
Really makes it feel like you're watching a stage production. :laugh:

I struggled trying to make this avatar less than 24.4kb while being over 150px.
But then I tested the original file and it uploaded without fail.

The avatar size restrictions.. THEY DO NOTHING!!

If it's over, it just resizes internally.

I prefer to resize manually and just it let recompress if it's over the size limit.
I don't know what internal resizer it does so I like to pick my own.
Catmull-Rom or something soemthing seomthing.
