I was never an A student. Never gave school any effort. So I'd be somewhat pleased if I got a C on something when I though I'd get an F. It's the students who would breakdown in tears after receiving a A when they thought they'd receive an A+ that pissed me off. Like Alex on Modern Family. Take your fucking tears and shove it. You got an A lol.

However when I went back to school 3 years ago for Television & Video Production and then Music Video Production, I aced everything - because I actually cared about it and it was something I wanted to excel at. And also because I paid for it lol.

I then have to pack my suitcase, get down to campus, print my essay out, hand it in to the Faculty of Arts office, submit it digitally to Canvas, and get to my 1-3pm lecture on time. After that it's straight to a screening from 3-5pm, and then it's straight down to the station to catch my train to Monstropolis for the weekend.

What you want is to go to Library->Configure, where it says Music Folders,click on Add and point Foobar to your Music Folder(s),
it will start monitoring them, let it finish it's preemptive scan, when that is done you just need to click Library->Album List and it will load your entire Collection.

I don't feel a connection between man and machine like many do.
Nor can I believe how others perceive trust of another in a machine.

I used to drive front-end loads that articulate in the center, which is the worst to drive.

Because the mirrors were mostly no good in the confined environment, and we normally don't expect unannounced humans walking in our paths.

Haven't dealt with insurance yet. Going down to the office tomorrow as I feel it'll be less frustrating than a phone call.

Physically, I'm fine. I was a little shaky after exiting my car, but that was only because of what had just happened and because it was 40 degrees outside. I had my seatbelt on, airbag did not go off (which is always good), I'm fine. If I wake up tomorrow with any pains, it'll be from work. Today was a day.

Spirit's a DolbyTrueHD 5.1

I've downloaded enough stuff this month, the less for me the better. :p

Just import it, make channels 1&2 and 5&6 stereo, select the portion Sulley wants, and "Export Selection" (make sure in the preferences you're exporting to a "custom mix"). Time-consuming initially but saves time in the long run for both you and me.

On HDD? Yes.
Importing anything other than WAV will take forever to open in Audacity.
Audacity will use 1 of 2 things to open any file:
1) libsnd (library sound)
2) ffmpeg (but this must be configured; and only uses ancient -- DEPRICATED -- versions of ffmpeg; Atmos tracks will not work)

The libsnd library doesn't read lossless dts or anything.

It would be best to use eac3to to convert track to WAV.
If the wave file is under 4GB, Audacity shouldn't have a problem opening it.

Alternatively, you can convert bluray to FLAC with eac3to.
for DTS-HD MA 7.1 you must use -dcadec or it won't work bit-exact. Arcsoft only needed for DTS Express.
There is a lot of talk about "Arcsoft" here, but they are all old, outdated posts. And I know at least one person here who still uses Arcsoft on all 7.1 streams (which could cause problems if the wrong version of Arcsoft is used).
ea3to is updated for Atmos patching, if any you have are that (or will be in the future).

Jurassic World is 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
So you must use "-dcadec" when using eac3to. Or else you get 5.1 only! Which is not bit-exact and you are working with the lossy DTS core!

MediaInfo should say what the DTS core is:
in Channels, you can see "8 channels / 6 channels". Anything that plays/opens/reads it as 5.1 only is bit-exact software and you're only getting the lossy core.
If you just open any 7.1 DTSHDMA stream in Audacity and get 5.1 or convert it and get 5.1, the software is either no good or misused (incorrect commands/buttons/switches).

In fact, it would be best to convert to FLAC first.
If you use the right commands with eac3to, it should be a true lossless file.
The import will take a long time, since it's not WAV. And most likely your PC has HDD only (Hard Disk Drive) and not SSD (Solid State Drive).
None of those movies have Dolby Atmos, so it shouldn't be a problem if you're not using eac3to.

Sounds like a partition's Master Boot Record may have been inadvertently lost in the system crash.
If a drive went missing suddenly, and you know it should be there, there should be way to restore the MBR to get the OS to recognize it again.

You can try software for file recovery.
Depending on the size and your CPU, the scan can take several hours.

Patience is key. Even if another version is available now, you ought not to let yourself feel compelled to buy it since the preferred version is currently out of stock.

It's pretty rewarding to be able to buy something that you've been waiting for for years. I waited 3 or 4 years for Warner Bros. to release Young Justice Blu-rays. I refused to buy the DVDs. I wouldn't succumb to the desire.

I've also refused to get The Hobbit extended editions until they release the whole trilogy on Blu-ray in one big box set. Sure, I've had to wait a few years, but it's gonna be worth it when I have the set next to my LotR one.

Currently, most of them you can buy directly from WB site, but exclusive to USA only (copyrights).
You can easily pirate parts 1 and 2 in extended edition.

I was paying attention when this shit went down two or three years ago. People hated the Ultimate Editions, and the putrid 'Wizard's Collection' that came out not too long after was insult to injury. People gave it so many bad reviews that Amazon took it off their shelves, so to speak, to make sure the product wasn't defective. It wasn't defective, of course, it was just poorly put-together.

Actually, I'm correct again. Almost all of it is "slinged together from DVD shit". Unless I'm mistaken, the only truly new content the 'Ultimate Editions' have to offer is an 8-part documentary (spread across all 7 box sets) about the making of the series. And I think they came with weird trading cards. Completely trashy product.

Everything else is ported from earlier releases, albeit perhaps with technical upgrades.

All kinds of shitty things I don't need at all and just take space.

That's WB's method for doing home video: release the same content over and over, but bury it in strange and useless new packaging to trick people. :(

Sorry... seeing as the last few films in the series were a huge disappointment for me, I had really been hoping that the Ultimate Editions would include something like new deleted scenes that could revitalize my interest in the series. Maybe even make the last few films almost intelligible (but I suppose that's larger the editor's burden to bear).

That's when my longer hatred of Warner Home Video began. :p

I scold my friends who buy on DVD when it's the exact same price on BD where they have a BD player.

It's not forbidden for you or I to say anything especially when it involves some sort of argument that is necessary to discuss. I don't see how it has provided greed, at least for me personally, I still regularly buy things, and you all know that well. Sure, I have things that I haven't paid for, but everyone here does too, including yourself. I have quite a few friends on here. So not sure about what you mean by saying "No one is a friend"...

But I can kinda see why SparkTank is acting the way he is... I was the same way with my Trailer stems thread when it would get out of hand. But that was just one thread for me, imagine SparkTank having to manage shitty users for MANY threads.
