It was Bastille's performance at Ancienne Belgique, Club, Brussels (Belgium) on 2013-04-17. It was an excellent FM recording of the full show, a thing that is not too common, which is why I wanted it. That, and I really like the band.

It wasn't actually a seeder. The original uploader sent me the file on WeTransfer, a website that has the downloads for a limited amount of time. Still, it was great to finally have it, especially after a two track 2015 FM recording got deleted, so I wanted to get this one at least.

Converting "Drag Me To Hell" (2009) [Unrated] to 720p for a friend.

The bluray is old. They got the theatrical + unrated on the same disc but didn't break the movie up into multiple files for "seamless branching".
So each cut gets its own movie file.
Which means both versions have significantly less quality than it could have gotten.

This is a movie that needs a remaster.

Just listening to the converted audio while I prep the movie conversion.
I keep wanting to alt+tab to look for the movie playing on MPC-HC when it's just playing in foobar2000. :laugh:

This is her best movie. Because it's a horror movie.
Matchstick Men was good. But this one is a lot funner since it's a comedy horror.

Not the other day. I mentioned it today, but also the other day in a Intrada post, if you mean that. Yeah, it's true. I've been wanting some Intrada and LLL's for a long ass while. Tinkerbell is one of my WANTS. But sadly, pricing is expensive. Three Tinkerbells, amount to 79 dollars, or 99, depends, that without shipping and a month of waiting I think, but I'm honestly not surprised - Intrada and LLL both handle shipping all one by one themselves.

Which is why I wish they'd make a deal with a bigger distributor.. or at least shipping place so they could get their albums more into the mainstream, in disc stores across Europe, it'd benefit them a lot but I guess they want to keep being independent which is good.

This is true, believe me I know I am a pirate and constantly say I can't afford shit but DEEP inside I REALLY want to get Intrada and LLL releases because they're damn good and worth it! In a short-sighted way, it [Animatrix] proves that Neo is the one.
Because some of the episodes show the team looking for The One.
And they come across a lot of candidates.
Who all fail.
Why do they fail? "Because they're not the one."

Or actually, they could easily have been The One.
It shows anyone has the potential to be The One inside the Matrix.
It takes great will power to overcome the simple boundries of the programming of the Matrix.
In a lot of the cases, everyone exhibits superhuman powers that Neo has.
Except they were discovered too late so they had no time to train.
They had to improvise and learn the hardest way to survive with their newfound powers.
But they ultimately fail because they are untrained and thrown into the life changing experience that starts with an immediate threat.

Throughout the live action films, Neo is the only one with the super human powers.
But literally everyone can have those powers.
They just need a safe place to train and time to become the great fighter Neo was programmed to be.

World Record proves this ordinary superman theory.

A Detective Story is great.
Not just for noire gumshoe storytelling, but it definitely shows the full potential of what could have happened to anyone.
He figured it out and had the heart to be The One.
But it's not what he wanted.
He just wanted to figure out what's going on.
He could have learned to become the one once found out. But he would not accept it at all.
It's not who he is.
He's happy with who he is.
And that's what makes it a lamenting episode.
It's bittersweet.
Who knows, maybe he could have been a greater ally among Morpheus' caliber.

Buy it NOW. It has some great short stories and the two-parter about how the war started is amazing.

The Animatrix almost begs for a Watchmen-like-Ultimate Cut where you combine the story about Neo and the origin of the Matrix.

I think BD-Live is just off for every Blu-ray possible. Strangely enough, my Blu-ray has internet, WiFi, yet, not any single BD-Live has worked for me.

The one on X-Men First Class still works fine. Don't know of any other Blu-ray I have that has BD-Live.

The weird thing is that I got it to work properly ONCE. I don't know how, but it did. Then it repeated the same pattern.

I'm still glad I own the limited edition set. The DVDs that came with it are really neat, and the Skynet Edition can still work. It's just the 2015 release is much better in functionality. It's a shame it's bare bones, so I got that set.

Sucker Punch (2011) extended edition + Maximum Movie Mode where Zack Snyder gives a visual commentary with accompanying behind the scenes snippets that plays over the movie.

Two cuts, one file. Save a LOOOT of space.
Using ordered chapters, thanks to an awesome freeware tool (http://www.videohelp.com/software/Xin1Generator) from a long time ago.
Better than remuxing two copies that use the same files.

Maximum Movie Mode is selectable as the secondary playback order.


Extended cut without the visual commentary.


It is so much entertaining with the commentary. :laugh: He gets so excited over some small details.

I quite enjoy these Maximum Movie Modes.
Watch the movie you've seen already and get lots of information AND get to see the relevant behind the scenes footage.

When you extract the movie and audio from a DVD or bluray, without conversion, it's called a "demux", or demultiplexing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demultiplexer_(media_file)).
When you put them together, it's called a "multiplex" or a "remux".

We don't use "remix" because this is a different group of media processing we're doing altogether, so it has its own jargon.
Remixing is apt for any music manipulation.

We're not doing that here. Even if we convert the bluray audio to AAC.
The only "remix" we have here is concerning different audio streams for the same movie.

Case and point:

That's about the only time we talk about "remix" video processing.

Suspiria has multiple remixed tracks from different sources.
And one of the nicer companies out there is working on a 4K scan of the movie to remaster it.

Red Book standards for CD are the simplist qualities, so it'd be incredibly impossible to get something different.
The only thing people look for are the logs to see what settings you used.
In a place like Shrine, most could care less if you have logs. Most can't even read the logs to know what settings you used.

Nude leaks impact the youth severely. The laws were first created to reduce actual child pornography, but now it needs to apply to cell phones because cell phones has changed the world and made people dumber than usual.

Nobody bats an eye because you're not underaged at 52. And I think it's different for you guys than it is for Americans. My parents are 9 years apart. Think about that....when dad was 18, mom was 9. But now that dad is gonna be 66 on Saturday and mom is 57, it's completely normal. Once both parties are past a certain age is when nobody bats an eye anymore. But 16 and 24...that ain't right.

It will decrpyt the bluray/dvd disc and then remux it to .MKV file with whatever you select (video streams/substreams, audio, subtitles, etc).

My 'favorite' language is English, so all English streams are selected by default.

^That will select the lossless DTS-HD Master Audio stream and not the lossy DTS Core stream.
You don't need to select the lossy DTS Core stream.
Some people remux with the lossless and the lossy core "just in case", but that's a noob mistake.
I've seen it happen lots in multiple places.
The only time you really need to select lossless+core is if the audio is...
1) TrueHD
2) you're going to play the TrueHD stream in a device that doesn't read TrueHD and requires an AC3 core

Those are the only conditions you need it. Really just condition 2.
I keep TrueHD only with no core as any intelligent developer of codecs will read TrueHD (since FFMPEG has been able to for centuries before lossless DTS formats).

I hate planes, though. Last time I went on one, during the descent, my ears started burning like CRAZY. Uncontrollable extreme pain, in what I think was my eardrum, like an extremely vivid ear infection. Haven't been on another one since, so I know what to expect.
Took hours for my ears to pop back. Took so long I was worried it was going to be permanent. Then I had the magical yawn. :laugh:

Anyone else ever had that?

WELCOME TO VILLA CUSH



Fucking glad to be here. One of the most stressful 24 hours of my life. Waited four hours at IOM airport to catch an hour flight to Manchester. Booked a day use hotel around the airport grounds so we didn't have to hang around 8 hours for our next stupidly long flight. I'll add that when we went to the hotel, we said "Hi, we made a booking?" And the lady behind the counter simply said: "Yes, we have the booking here but unfortunately right now, we're booked out." I did not say anything but on the inside I was furious, thinking to myself "WHAT WAS THE POINT ON BOOKING A ROOM THEN?" I calmed down when she said we could have a free self-served breakfast buffet. Enjoyed some nice sausage, bacon and beans for my extremely late but delicious breakfast. We still had to wait 8 hours, but it was much more relaxing. There's also a one and a bit year old baby travelling with us, I forgot to mention that, didn't I? Well he was awake since 4:30 and he only had 20 minutes' worth of sleep over the course of 8 hours, poor thing.

Finally got on the plane, which got delayed by a further 45 minutes, and admittedly it wasn't too bad. The baby was awkward, of course, but that's to be expected. He was grumpy because like I said, he'd had almost no sleep recently at all, but he didn't want to go to sleep because of his surroundings, he wants to see everything. Finally, 6 hours into the flight, the little fella nodded off, slept for the final w hours of the flight. Dry chocolate still all over his mouth... The flight itself was very calm, listened to some Walter Mitty and Mad Max: Fury Road on the way, actually made time fly quicker than I expected.

Luggage was an hour late. An hour. We missed our booked coach because of it, had to purchase a Taxi. Money we did not have to spend. It wasn't even our fault! Then the Taxi was layer than we expected, granted not by long, maybe 20 minutes but still, we were all so fucking tired and so stressed, any more time spent waiting for things would probably make us commit suicide.

And now here we are. Finally, at our destination. Journey was a mixed bag, at the end of the day apart from the waiting it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm not tired, funnily enough, I'm not going to bed tonight, I don't think. Villa is amazing, we have free food, WiFi, comfortable beds, a relaxing, lit-up pool and now a calm, sleeping happy baby. Still hard to believe I was in my own house this morning.
