The whole Pa Kent subplot makes no sense. He spends the entire film telling Clark that the smartest way to live is to hide his powers, and even seems against his saving a bus full of children. Clark never acknowledges his going against Pa's wishes when he dons the Superman suit, and they sidestep the whole issue by his mother saying something very vague like 'He knew you were destined for great things."
My biggest issue: Snyder's Superman lacks any spark of pulp fiction joy that made the character so popular in the first place. Here he does not inspire; he terrifies me. He smashes wantonly through buildings, lacks clear direction of right and wrong, and seems to be very selective in when he wants to actively save lives. Instead of pummeling Zod's minions in the nearby cornfield, he opts to throw them through an occupied street. He's hardly "an ideal of hope", he's a berserker and a frightening character.
I swear, I think Russell Crowe gets just almost much screen time as Superman. That's silly. You know what would have been a better idea than having hologram Jor-El? How about having a hologram named Brainiac explain things to Clark?

They updated the extension just a couple days ago.
I never use it, except I'd like to for this one occasion. There used to be a hidden menu you could access where you could set up the minimum/maximum bitrate but now the extension does that for you (badly... there's constant buffering).

Fortunately Videostream lets you adjust bitrate... so I got it working the way I'd like.

The issue I'm seeing is being able to upload material that isn't already there. I luckily found one CD my brother got from a show of a band that's local to San Antonio, Texas, but I don't know...

I may have at least 1 or 2 more albums I could upload, but it will be a bit difficult to find any more.

I have plenty to upload that I haven't seen on there. It's not much, but it will help.

Momo just KNOWS how to do it, somehow, I don't think any of us could be able to even reach 1 GB that easy.

Not because of leeching, but because seeding is kinda hard unless you find out a way.. or download the newest torrents with little seeders.

That and Momo may have just uploaded lots of shiz of their own in What.CD which gives upload points.

It's ridiculous, but I have one thing to support me: other websites.

You see, some people that download from What.CD have a tendency to post elsewhere. Quite often, the files won't be changed whatsoever. A couple of things I got off of SoulSeek and RuTracker ended up actually being from What.CD! Hell, I actually saw that a post I made on DIME and The Mixing Bowl actually made to What.CD!

As the result, I have easily gained fuel for seeding.

I'm going to re-read and know well the guidelines for uploading before I do so. I know I've ripped the CD correctly, but I mean for other things that you encounter when submitting the torrent.

Thankfully, it apparently isn't so strict that you can't download a 450 MB-some file before you've uploaded, so I was able to grab something I've wanted for a while. It doesn't steal my desire to want to learn and contribute, because I know there are still albums there I want.

I may have small stuff to contribute but probably doesn't follow their guidelines in upload (have no cue, log, or 100% check, just plain flac files) or are not of huge interest to get seeded a lot.

You have to check if it's legit then. The site had a lot of tips and tools to help you with that. Any small issue can be adressed. You'll really need it. :)

I was fearing this day would happen since the HDD has been giving me a bit of trouble unplugging and plugging sometimes randomly but I do hope that this is fixable, the HDD doesn't seem DONE FOR forever fucked, just somehow it seems like whatever can't seem to get access to it, but I know the files are still deep insides and with hopes most of them can be recovered with programs but I'd still need a new HDD to pass it all there, if so, because all that I recover would go to the computer HDD which is full.

I HOPE it's fixable. Not only the music was eternally valuable to me, I had a pretty huge collection with loads of music I loved, some I wouldn't even find again, but also there was some MKV of Pok�mon movie Blu-rays that are not easy to get anywhere else now.

Damn, Ponyo. I really hate to read that this is happening, because, if any of you remember, it's happened to me before as well.

In my case, the issue was the SATA power cable that connected between the hard drive and the motherboard. As with any hard drive problem, who I took my computer to, and I myself assumed that the issue was the hard drive... not that who I took it to didn't know what they're doing, but it's difficult to tell if it's the cable or the hard drive, otherwise they would've told me that the cable was the problem.

Because of this I ended up purchasing a 1 TB hard drive. At the time, if I had known the cable was the issue, I would've only had to just spend about $5-7 and replace the power cable, opposed to spending $50 on a 1 TB hard drive. I still totally needed the space, though, and if your hard drive is older chances are your computer is at least a small amount slower than it should be (considering a hard drive is a large portion responsible for how fast your computer accesses data or information; the operating system and everything else, especially games, perform as per the hard drive, loading times for games and browsing your computer are faster with a better hard drive), so getting a new hard drive isn't really a bad idea. Regardless I still hope the best chances for you getting it fixed.

Who knows, what if it's an easy fix, and it's just one of the cables that need replacing? It wouldn't hurt to try. Lucky you to have someone here (anybody else as well) who's experienced this sort of problem before. :)

It's external. My computer/laptop is fine. The issue is, that for whatever reason, the HDD cannot be read anywhere, not my computer, nor my dad's, nor my Blu-ray. Computer says "Can't acess drive. Disk structure is damaged or unreadable." but I know it's gotta have a fix, because the HDD physically still works, as the disc sound is still there, working. It's just somehow something is damaged and cannot have acess to it. I'm not sure if it's the cable..

I do hope I can fix it, or at least when I get a new HDD which I'm not sure will be happening soon, I can recover a lot of the files at least.

I guess in the end, the most importing thing is that you recover ALL of your files.

And please, take my advice and BACK IMPORTANT SHIT UP. I'm saying anything that is very unique or that you cannot acquire ever again. You won't believe how close I was to losing some of my own music, that I composed myself. To make sure it doesn't happen again with THIS HDD. If I fix it and don't ever get a new one, it'll went poof and be gone forever sometime or another. It's inevitable. But like every other tech, the way to fix it, is to buy another HDD.

SonicAdventure (who's also been recently offline) has stated he uses optical media over hard drives, since those could never really break as easily. Thus, it's more ideal to use blank Blu-ray discs. The thing would be to have a bunch of Blu-rays around that would clog up space. Still, it's better than a busted hard drive

Just chiming in with a few facts :)

The Superman isolated score was created from Eric Tomlinson's 6-track mixes, not the Rhino set, and those same elements were used for the FSM edition. And the Blu-ray does have the 8 additional cues

The advantage would be that it is in surround sound, with the 5.0 on DVD and 5.1 on Blu-ray.

First, and most importantly I would like people to join forces and help me to do a nice gamerip/soundtrack of The Legend of Spyro trilogy (A New Beginning, The Eternal Night and Dawn of the Dragon). I want to do the best gamerip soundtrack that is possible to do. I need someone to help me with the actual gamerip and tagging, then someone to help me with the mastering (in case some of the sound files have audio problems, clips, whatever, I'd want someone to fix them and make the thing sound the best possible to the limits of the source.

Aditionally it would be wonderful to have help too for the rest of the Spyro games (console wise, not interested in the handheld games atm and without counting Skylanders) to have someone work with me to make the perfect gamerips for those, but that's just aditional, at the moment I wanna focus more in THE LEGEND OF SPYRO trilogy.

Anyone want to help? It would be most appreciated.

I mean, I had to play through both Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive over again (not that I mind) to memorize Giacchino's score in order to tag and name them as such. 31 tracks in all, and United Offensive just re-used music, so I don't know how the Spyro games may be, but he might have to end up doing something similar to what I did. Perhaps watch some walkthroughs and remember the tracks and order them as they play, or something like that.

Say what you will about Brian Tyler, you have to respect him for at trying to bring a little bit of continuity to the films (going so far as to use Silvestri's Cap theme in his cameo in The Dark World).

Whether it's RCP or not is irrelevant. Henry Jackman didn't use Djawadi's Iron Man theme, nor even his own Cap theme. The latter I think I heard once, in the end credits, for maybe a few seconds. I might even hazard to guess the similarity was a coincidence.

Is it boring because it isn't your Zimmer drone fest that you adore so much?

I have to admit, Zimmer is a guilty pleasure for me. Some of the work he did for MoS sounds really, really cool.

I like some of the electronical elements, and / or conventional instrumental aspects he uses with some of his music.

Examples could be "The Kraken" and "I've Got My Eye On You", etc.

"Drone Fest" would be part of why I like Zimmer :p, also myself just enjoying what I've heard from him in general.
