As for purchases, I recently had to replace the cable for my SE846s because, being the lazy halfwit that I am, when my gym earphones finally gave in I (obviously) decided to use the most expensive earphones I owned for HIIT and plyometrics. Sigh, the sweat oxidized the bronze cables and all but completely corroded the gold plating on the connectors. It got to the point where sound started becoming affected. I've always stuck with the classic "clear" colour for all Shure earphones I've ever owned though I'm starting to feel the winds of change. That bronze on the SE535 actually looks amazing and though the sound quality is vastly inferior, recently I just can't get enough of that blue on a limited edition pair of the SE215s I managed to hunt down - so much swaggle.

Collectors will enjoy this set of 5 CDs (clocking in at over 3 hours) covering the contributions of Disney to the 1964/65 World's Fair in New York. Disney was anxious to interest the East Coast in his theme park in Anaheim, California, and the World's Fair was the perfect vehicle to showcase what Disneyland was about. Many on the East Coast had difficulty understanding what Disneyland was, thinking it was not much more than a run-of-the-mill amusement park. Ambitiously, Disney put together no fewer than 4 major exhibits, including it's a small world, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Carousel of Progress, and The Magic Skyway. In one form or another, each one of these attractions were eventually installed at Disneyland and then in Orlando at Disney World. How successful was Disney's ambitious gamble? 90% of Fair guests attended the Disney exhibits, and these were the ones that people mainly remembered and raved about, especially the Mr. Lincoln exhibit.

Latest purchase: I've replaced several NATO watch straps. One of them is a genuine "G10" strap as it used to be issued by MoD (20 mm, nylon, admiralty grey). The other ones don the colorful patterns usually seen today including the one that Bond always wears on film with his Rolex. I do have one and it was gifted to me a few years ago at an awards ceremony but I HATE wearing it in public because, even in broad daylight, I've been approached one time too many about it. The last guy who did left me no choice but resorting to self-defense, after which grueling police questioning ensued. It's been in a safety deposit box ever since. Brief aside aside, I actually may prefer wearing these straps without a watch. "Never being in style is the best way to never go out of style" -Jean Dion.

Edit: I fully expect Shriners to go out and get one and do the same. That way we can recognize our own people. Also, #Trendsetting.

It's better than Avengers: AoU but didn't resonate with me the way GoTG did. That said it is a fun time at the movies. Paul Rudd makes for a very likable and believable hero who's not fighting to save the world but just be the best dad he can be to his daughter. (Marvel's movies have this running theme of absent or emotionally distant fathers and it's present here. Hank Pym - nicely played by Michael Douglas - is estranged from his daughter Hope - Evangeline Lilly. That estrangement also extends to Pym's former protege Darren Cross - Corey Stoll.)

The action scenes are well choreographed making good and innovative use of Ant-Man's powers and the macrophotography - when Rudd goes ant sized is also well done. The suits look good and believable with the Yellowjacket armor getting some audience "Woahs" when finally appearing in full size. There's a nice extended cameo by an Avenger and stick around through the end credits, there are two post stingers.

The meh part, the music didn't really stick out, some of the comedy, for me, was clunky and landed with a thud and Cross as a villain was okay. Marvel has had a hard time crafting good villains and Cross is no exception. (There is the strong suggestion that his shrinking process - not as refined as Pym's - is causing a mental breakdown but that idea is never developed. Had Marvel done that - like showing Cross is aware his process is hurting him but because of ambition, greed or wanting to upstage his mentor - Cross could have been a memorable villain. Instead he's just a bad guy in an exo-suit.)

I enjoyed it but it won't be going into my blu-ray library.

Negative. My touch that I bought 5 years ago came with them. But I Guess Apple did away with them. I checked the site last night and the new ones don't come with the wall piece or the mic headphones. I guess they just did away. Also, the headphones didn't come in the usual plastic case. Instead it was cardboard. They changed it up.

I hadn't heard about the new release. Wow. FINALLY Apple has realised it's easy to fit 128GB onto an iPod Touch. How long did that take?

Right now the 128 gb version is only available through the Apple Store. That might change. And in August Best Buy starts selling the Apple Watch, for anyone who cares. (The only way I'd buy wearable tech like that is when it's a standalone that can access 4G without being slaved to a smartphone.)

You guys are joking right? In today's world, a non-isolating earpiece is a joke considering that the degree of noise pollution one is
regularly exposed to is well enough to render higher-than-average specs absolutely meaningless. I limit my leisure-listening exclusively
to IEMs but on the street and at the gym any one from the CX series, even the 150, is a more aesthetically pleasing but, more
importantly, a durable high-quality product within a similar price range. You can never go wrong with Sennheisers.

My rule for recommendations for the past couple of years is basically go Klipsch. I saw this picture thing once of a silicone eartip being stuck in someone's which scared me to death.

Hahaha that's a common and largely (by which I mean 99.9% of the time) innocuous occurrence particularly with triple-flange sleeves and especially if their stem has been altered to allow a deeper fit. It's happened to me countless times before and though I've learned to be careful about it, when it happens it takes less 3 seconds to pull the sleeve out with tweezers by grabbing either stem or wall. The first time it happened I voluntarily went to the hospital genuinely fearing for tympanoplasty but I learned that as long as someone is smart by removing it within a reasonable time, it can have no long-term consequences to normal eardrums which are too 'inside' to be reached, let alone scraped.

Bose's QC20 are impressive but I hardly use them because I still get a better sound with triple/double-flange sleeves on my blue (*.*) SE215s and I'm too impatient for bulky 16-hour long batteries.
Noise cancellation will become the standard before long but as long as they're lithium inefficient, I'm sticking with sound isolation.

I favor passive NC over active NC anyday. I hate that stupid 'humming' sound some 'phones have. Plus you know, batteries. I had the QC25s for using on trips but then QC20s came out and I wanted to try them out. I read about the 16-hour battery life and passed. I did try the SE215s (I think) but the fit didn't feel right. I'll look at PSU's M4U4s when I get the chance. Until them, over-ears for me yay.

And I'm not messing with any multiple-flange sleeves either. That picture makes me never wanna put anything in my ear again.

I like to vary.

My dad swears by q-tipping and balks at my absurd reaction when he encourages me to do it too. I alternate with it. Sometimes it gets nasty solid and dark-ish so then it seems warranted. Otherwise, I try to make sure nothing smaller than my elbow end comes near it. But I've got to get my ears checked and that thing they do when they clean it out using whatever thing, it's awesome.

It's got some X-files vibes if you were into the whole guy-gal tension thing, other than that it depends whether you're into shows like it or not. Might check it out. Due to lack of time, I tend to prefer reading and steer away from tv shows of 20+ episodes a season that develop less narrative and focus more on the excessively trodden "case a week" format which leaves miniseries and auter tv, which I don't mind because they tend to be more sophisticated in every single way... except for when they aren't (*cough* House of Cards after Season One *cough*). But seriously, after Justified, The Americans or Penny Dreadful I'm finding no reason to go back to The Good Wife or to give Gotham and Arrow a second chance (I dropped both half-way through episodes three and five respectively). I'm on the fence about The Flash but I know I probably won't have time for whatever mild fanboy satisfaction it could give.

Omg congrats! I love the feeling of geting a new package! I was planning to get someting this month but.. Idk.. I think I should really keep saving up til Jan 2016 and then I'll have around 300 dollars and that way I can spend a few things on me and still have some off and not feel pennyless.
