It's more of a JRPG.

But, I second 'FFT: War of the Lions'.

FFT has the whole 'serious story' going on with a classic & solid battle system, but Disgaea has the whole 'comical story' with a damn near infinite battle system.


Both run better on CFW than OFW, IMO.

I was working in a city center all weekend in some really posh 30 story building that happened to sit right next to a GAME. I called in each time I went for a break and looked at them and then left. Hey Masked... er tactical granola, I watched that movie and it was actually pretty damn good! It starts a little slow but gets better and better as it goes. It never reaches great heights but rolls along just nicely on the pretty damn good track.
I'm a little biased when it comes to indie flicks cos I'd rather watch a Gus Van Sant than a Michael Bay any day of the week. The film is a bit piecemeal at times, there really isn't enough time to establish any real setting other than it's Paris, the lighting sucks, and there's lots of cultures, but within that framework there are some fantastic little snippets of life, and love (obviously).
The Natalie Portman episode is amazingly good, worth seeing for it alone, and I'm not normally a big fan of her simpering acting style. There's one with a black guy that is wonderful also. Bob Hoskins' was the best thing I've saw him do in years. Elijah woods� was funny. Gus van Sant�s was actually the only duff one, and I usually like his work.
I don't know what part of the world you're in, I'm in the UK and I got it from HMV for �3.00 - a bargain! I�d recommend it if you like the slow burner � at the very least as a rental.
Also if you like French movies the Three Colours trilogy is very good, just make sure to watch them in the correct order (blue, white, red) � and 36 is fantastic, been likened to a French version of Heat, but way better imo.

Good luck getting it to work with Graphics Acceleration on if you have an NVidia card of GeForce6 or newer family. I gave up on the PC version because of the gross incompatibilities.
