I started buying Jarritos carbonated drinks..I also found an ES brand backpack with only one of the main compartment's zippers not working one way (there's two zippers on each of the largest pocket openings so the other zipper completely closes the somewhat faulty pouch), one set of wire cutters and a Husky brand razor blade flip knife fitted for exchanging those trapezoidal razor blades, all in Palm Springs. The Jarritos I bought at the Rancho Grande here in Desert Hot Springs.

I've been a bit curious about The Last Story for awhile now. Is it any good?

It's a good JRPG... and for one who had a falling out with JRPG some time ago, I actually liked it. Good story and characters, the battle system works very well with the Wii remote and nunchuk. Overall, I'd give it a 8/10... and if you can find it, get it. Took me some time to grab this originally (Got my first copy earlier this year, but then I had a moment of stupidity and loaned it out to my cousin and never got it back), but this second copy - complete with case and manual, unlike my first which was just the disc - was a bit easier to find. Sadly it's the only copy available for sale here in my state... Definitely recommend it for any one with a Wii console.

I see. I can find it rather easily, but I'll give it a whirl next chance I get.

I remember playing Mercenaries 2: World in Flames on PS3 many years ago over at my cousins', and it was fun. I love such games, like I loved Just Cause 2. I missed the US PSN 0.99c flash sale. I had 1USD in my US PSN account, as leftover from some free 6USD promotion years ago, but I needed at least 0.98USD more to get all that I wanted, but it would take too long to fund because my only method was buying a US PSN card with PayPal and PayPal's funds addition process takes too long and there was only 8 hours left for the sale. So I missed the sale entirely and got nothing xD
So right now all I can do is buy a resell, but eh, not really interested/motivated to go through the hassle - I'll just wait for another sale, or likelier, I'll just never buy the games and not care about them. Haha.
On other non-gloomy news, AU PSN was having a promotion: for every $50 that you add to wallet with PayPal, you get another $10 free. I added $50 and soon got a $10 voucher in my PSN inbox (and somewhy it said "expires on 31st March 2014" but I think that they meant "May", I used it successfully anyway).
I also missed the Ubisoft EU PSN sale because I was too busy in other things... thereafter I saw Far Cry 4's announcement (obviously the sale was planned with this announcement or something, on the EU PSN blog), I'm gladdened, and now I also give up Far Cry series completionism due to things that I'm appreciating from Far Cry 4 and Ubisoft.

I ordered BF3 and PvZ GOTY Edition for free from Origin's "On The House" thingy (thanks to Gri for informing me), but I just ordered them for free, so they're in my account... I'm not actually gonna download Origin to download/play them.

On 2014.06.22, eBay had a 15% off for that specific day (I thought "paint me yellow call me a Tails-fan" haha as I had shirts in mind xD)... it was just over an hour from midnight and to purchase something I had to rely on the seller re�nvoicing me before then after I ordered, so I ordered and prayed that he did, but as zero hour came I realised that that's not happening, so I was about to use the coupon anyway and ask for partial refund (combined postage re�nvoicing as mentioned earlier) later... right when I click pay it says coupon expired :'( Fail... haha, in the end I paid 81.08AUD! That probably sounded confusing, but anyway, one comes with a beanie, and another is colour-changing upon sunlight... which I never get :rolleyes:

Yesterday I got a PS Vita wifi original model with recharger, case, 16GB memory card, Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, FIFA Football, and Modnation Racers Road Trip; all for 175AUD.
A minor note: the bundle had artificial scent residue all over it, which is annoying to me as I don't like that and am sensitive to that, but it doesn't matter as it'll wear off and I've been using my fan to help it. I understand though as it is pre�wned and this is a part of what you accept, so I willingly accept it of course; and I've had one stronger case about 0.5y ago with bulk toys that I bought, but thankfully anyway almost all items that you buy don't have smells like artificial scent residue, smoke, and suchlike.
I don't care about those four games, so I'll sell all of them (at most I'll play Resistance: Burning Skies before I do), but anyway, last night I ordered S&ASRT (PSV) for 25.90AUD.

Beatport had at the end of June a discount where if you bought >=30USD you get 30% off, and 30% off was the biggest discount I have ever seen from Beatport, however in the end I gave it a miss - why? I've been boycotting Beatport because their prices are way too high especially including unreasonable lossless fees (whereto discounts don't even apply).
Sony recently had a free movie thing... but I don't care about movies so I passed even though they gave me a free code since I bought some stuff from PSN Store. The funny thing is though that this happened around the same time that a relative bought a movie ticket for me for a birthday event (which I didn't accept either of course).

Today I got that 1TB internal HDD to replace my Toshiba Satellite A350 stock internal HDD. I'm gonna copy any needed files, replace the HDD, and install Debian Jessie with KDE (I first used KDE with BackTrack 5 a few years ago and I loved it).

EDIT: *sigh* That was extremely more problematic than Windows. I have WAY too many complaints to list - mainly against KDE.
I love my Windows Vista and its perfect Windows classic theme. I would gladly deal with Windows annoyances for this.

It's supposed to be a spiritual sequel to Planescape: Torment, so if you're into the old RPGs of the '90s, I suggest helping out the pledge drive. They already received way more than the minimum on Kickstarter, so this is the final push and last chance to get these bonuses for the game. There's no telling if they will release a physical version to the public when it's time for release, or if it will contain anything besides the disc.

It was on sale for 69 cents, and I had 83 cents left, so I thought I might as well get it, since I never heard of it until some time last year. I just hope it'll work.

Edit: Well, the game works, but the cinematics don't. I spent almost all night, and almost all morning trying to get the damn cutscenes to work, but I give up. I got them to work, but sadly, the in-game graphics get FUBARed (http://imgur.com/jUsPEB0) to where it's just unplayable. Guess I'll have to just play the game, and watch the cutscenes after I finish the game.

I bought the "Assassin's Creed Heritage Collection" for PS3. Never played Assassin's Creed before. Started with the first. Find it quite lame compared to the Naughty Dog games.

I always buy in bulk when I purchase stuff from Japan, to save money on shipping. These are the combined items from two whole months of shopping that I received in one huge package. I have to wait a lot longer for the items than people who just order one album at a time from Amazon, but in the end I can afford more stuff. The Vita games are from eBay.

61 DVD. Should take me quite some time to watch all that, and it'll be good to watch again some old favorites. Only show that ever came close to it in my opinion is Fringe, and even then, it wasn't as good.

All I ever wanted in life was to physically know someone else who watched Fringe. That was my favorite TV show. I'm glad it didn't get cancelled (although it came pretty fucking close several times, when Fox moved it to Friday nights I nearly killed myself) and got to tell its story, but it was far too short. The series Finale made me cry.
