whoever mixed this thing made a real mess of it. Good songs, bad production. The whole point of this band is Grath's lyrics and vocals, and you can't hear them because they're buried in fuzz. I am disappoint.

Buy a PS3, and treat it with care. Meaning, get a cooling kit for it and place it in the open, near the air conditioner. This is especially important if you live near the equator (like me).

And oh, don't use it for over an hour. Mine started making worrying creaking noises if it's powered on for over an hour. Survey says it's normal and wouldn't harm the PS3, but I'd take extra care anyway.

Longest I've had mine on is 4 hours and it was cooler than my laptop is after 5 minutes.

I'm always astonished by how hot laptops get, and how fast.

I love my netbook though, it stays amazingly cool even after it's been on a few hours.

My first laptop set itself on fire. My second laptop had a small fan aimed at it at all times so as to not catch on fire. The third laptop had I will never have a third laptop ever.

A good way to keep a laptop cool is to put it on top of a box with lots of holes in it to allow it to BREATHE. I think they actually sell these boxes but I don't know what they call them.

I had a laptop once. I spent a lot of time with it on my lap, keeping my balls warm. I'm probably infertile now.

I had a laptop that I took to keeping on one of those plastic trays that are for piling papers on, with the edges raised, so that the entire bottom of it was open to the air. This worked fine, but I was like, man, this is stupid, I should just get a new desktop. Then the laptop broke, probably because I got it refurbished. I didn't like it anyway.

My laptop usually stays pretty cool, but my laptop charger gets ridiculously hot all the time. It makes me scared to use it. ; ;

I remember this one episode of The Screen Savers where they were trying to cool down a computer to run at peak performance, they used dry ice and liquid nitrogen on one setup.

What?! They got better. Even though the second and third games weren't exactly platformers like the first one, I'd say they are some of the best action/adventure games ever made. So unless you're completely into platformers I don't think there's any good reason to think Jak II and 3 are lame.

I love just about all commentaries, even tech ones. I frequently pull out my dvds just to check out the commentaries. You can learn so much stuff. ; ; The South Park dvds are the worst, the commentary is fantastic, but they refuse to let them go very long, and sometimes they'll be in the middle of an awesome discussion and then be all WHOOPS THIS IS GETTING LONG GOT TO GO.

Paul isn't part of the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, though. I don't think it'll really be as great as Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz without the writing/directing of Edgar Wright but it still seems pretty good judging by the script.

VC had a really horrible story, I thought. The dialogue was pretty bad, at least. It is one of my favourite strategy games every though, in terms of gameplay.

Last two time that happened with EA and Midway they backed down after consumer outcries. Want to see if Sega backed down as well so I can update the TVTropes entry.

Yeah, but then EA, Midway and Sega talked through their ass one time during production of said games and announced that they're going to region-lock said games. So it made me wonder. Also, a page I came across while researching the PS3's region-locking capabilities implies that the system has an opt-in region-locking scheme that's based on blu-ray regioning. Just that Sony has decreed that all games pressed to date must be region-free.

My treasured ten-thousand dollar 5-year old rig just died. Instead of simply shoehorning in random parts to bring it back to life (and operating it at substandard levels- you can't run a pair of 9800GTs on a first-gen NForce4-SLI motherboard at full speed), I decided to just let it turn into crystal and achieve eternal life beyond that as a PC be and get something more modern and at a cheaper price. Of course, the new PC is not even close to functional at this point. Still need bunches of parts, which I plan to get the rest next week.

I'm thinking about it, myself. There's a big enough fistful of PSP games that I want to play. Even moreso if they make Bioshock and Uncharted psp games. So, I'll be starting with Chains of Olympus if I do decide to bite.

Funniest thing is that I've always wanted to play GoW. But I've not played even one in the series. Is it that good? I mean I've heard alot of good about it but to be fair in that genre I think DMC takes the spot.

Yeah it's the new one. It looked bigger when it was still in the box :(. As for the mammoth legs, it's for when you change it to the Tank Megazord mode thingy (you put the pieces that are supposed to be the feet of the pterodactyl in the holes for the cannons). I didn't like how I had to put the decals on myself though even if it's a toy for kids. When I was young and had to do that shit, it still pissed me off.

But there is one thing I noticed on the side of the box that I would also like: the Green Ranger's flute dagger (yes, it's really a flute!).

Man, no one ever backs me up on Kat being swoon.

i think they just kill her. like, rita created her, she was around for a few episodes, and then she battles the rangers and turns into that scorpion form and then they destroy her.

Kid show villains really screw themselves over what with the destroying of every henchmen who fails them a certain number of times. If they got all their henchmen to team up and strike at once they could launch a pretty devastating attack.

they do that at the end of turbo. but that's when it got awful so no one saw.
