theres a bit of a story on this one, if you care to read it.

it was around 18 years ago, and i was going with my grandfather to a local clock/jewelry shop, first time i entered one of those. and among all the "ugly, boring clocks" there it was, on display in one of those things shops use to make watches stand vertically, was the watch you see up there. i wanted it so badly, but at the time, 125 pesos (back then, like 15 dollars) was a lot for a little kid. so i went straight to my piggy whale bank, and gathered around 70 pesos. i worked my ass off the entire evening that day doing menial chores around my granpas house, until i finally earned enough to buy the watch.
he brought me back there and when i held the watch in my hands, i felt like the coolest badass in the universe, everyone in school would flock around me to marvel at such awesomeness. (because back then, game watches were unheard of/too fucking expensive).
fast forward around a year later, it got lost/stolen at my other (mom�s parents) grandpas ranch. i know it was there because that was the last time i saw it.

fast forward to 6 months ago, i ebay this watch and stumble upon a relatively cheap one, and made a deal with my dad. that he would buy it for me, and he would give me the watch only after i enter the university. when he asked why i wanted that "nintendo watch", i told him that every time i see that watch, i think fondly of my (his dad) grandpa, because were it not for him, i would have probably never even knew such a watch existed.

Besides day to day things, I purchased a new fish for my tank. Feisty little white one, already taken over as the boss of the tank despite being the smallest in there. Pretty cool fish.

Actually, the box clearly states that it is incompatible with Wii games. I'm pretty sure an actual Wii will be unable to communicate with the device. It is quite a bummer, though, as Nintendo has the right to push its products' peripherals to their new devices.
