Have you read any of Artemis Fowl? Because, believe me, as soon as I read that Colfer was writing this, I checked out read Artemis Fowl. Did I enjoy it? Well, the fact that I checked out a copy of an audiobook of another the adventures in the series might be a hint. :)


Trust me, Colfer will do a good job with this. His and Adams's sense of humor are compatible. They're very compatible. I knew this as soon as I read in Fowl about leprechauns and about how few people know that the term "leprechaun" actually originates from the security force LEP RECON. I say do it, it really doesn't change anything only that you can do more stuff. Also, its not like nintendo will hunt you for hacking the Wii. I played a few rounds of Mario Kart Wii... no difference, but, I guess according to Ari cheats now exist in online play... that's really low in my opinion.

Well, afaik, once you mod the Wii, you have to take all sorts of precautions when going online (and when playing game discs with updates on them) to ensure you don't brick the system by mistake (i.e. from installing new official firmwares). I just don't want to put in that much effort.

I've gone months without playing a game on the Wii, and sometimes would pop in a Wii game and I know by that time new updates are waiting for me, I just don't bother with them, I play and nothing happens.... yet. but, yeah, seeing as you imported the Wii it would be f'ed up if it bricked.

It has made it exceedingly difficult for me to obtain 9999 in Battle mode... it freakin' sucks. The highest I've made it to is like 8721 or something. I'm too afraid to play with my good license in fear of losing my points. :(

...I stopped wearing mine after buying Vans. I don't have to tie the Vans so I just slip them on and go about my business.
