Those are some pretty reasons, man. Battlefield 3 is going to be best on PC, but the console versions will be fine too.

I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore Sonic fan, but I definitely do enjoy the classic games up to Sonic Heroes. Sonic 4 revived my liking of Sonic games again after previous disappointment with "Sonic and the Secret Ring" and "Shadow the Hedgehog".

I know there are lots of fans of Sonic out there, so when I read reviews from other gamers and major game critics that said they adored it, I was pretty convinced that it had to be a good game. With a decade of bad console games, it says a lot when game critics and gamers come to a consensus, and that was enough for me to buy it (in addition to it being on sale for a pretty good price on the week of its release).

I've played the demo as well and it seems pretty cool. If you haven't tried it out yet, you should download it and see if it's your cup of tea. :)

My only gripe is that Sega did not make the collector's edition available in the United States. I would have not hesitated to pre-order it if they had.

have yet to see Wonder Woman yet but have heard enough good things about it to give it a shot.

In your opinion, do you think it's worth it?
It really depends. The game is really short. There's 9 stages, each with 2 acts (one for Classic and Modern Sonic). There's also 10 challenge stages to each stage (again, 5 for Classic and 5 for Modern) which recycle parts of the level in different ways. Most challenges are fun but a few are kinda crappy. There's lots of unlockables (art work, music and sometimes power ups) which are tied to challenge stages and the red coins you find in levels. You can burn through this stuff pretty quick, really. I've put maybe 4 hours into the game and I'm up to the final boss and I've finished all the challenges of the first 4 stages.

If you can get the game for like $30? Yeah it's probably worth it. It's the best Sonic game in a long time and I'd say it's my favourite Sonic in general (not a big fan of the series). If you've got a computer than can run it, you should really get it on there because the console versions are locked at 30FPS and they still sometimes dip.

honestly, no it isnt the best sonic game in a long time. i played the demo, and some of the controls were just downright troublesome. Sonic Colors, for me, was better.

The controls are a lot better than they were in Sonic Colours, not to mention the game doesn't have those shitty wisp powers (well, for the most part...). They definitely aren't perfect though, at least when it comes to Modern Sonic.

I wasn't impressed by the demo. I made a post about it a few days ago in general gaming. After spending some more time with it I can say it's pretty good, though. Surprisingly, I ended up preferring classic Sonic stuff, despite not really liking the Genesis games and thinking Colours was pretty fun. Anyway, I'd say it's worth renting if you're even a little interested in the series. A night with the game is probably all you need to play through it anyway.

I never really got into them. I always felt they were kind of clunky and that the levels were boring compared to other platformers at the time. I really like the classic Sonic levels in this game though, so I don't know what that means for their quality. Classic Sonic City Escape was some cool stuff.

Yeah, I used to drink a lot of arizona iced tea...specifically the raspberry...I love my raspberry flavored tea. But my logic tells me that Lipton's healthier because Arizona's got more sugar in it.

Yeah, those were the races. That was competitive and it ended pretty quickly. I definitely loved the competitive special zone level. That was always fun. :P

If I remember correctly though, I thought in Sonic 3 you couldn't have Tails help, you know, kill bosses and stuff. I know in 2 you lose Tails after Metropolis Zone, but way back when we never really got that far, haha.

Edit: Nevermind I dunno, I thought when it was the game was originally released it was just more Sonic vs. Knuckles, and Tails wasn't really in it.

Tails wasn't all that helpful in sonic 2 while he's with sonic. Sonic 3 was the same. In sonic 3, you can have Tails fly, which was better when u couldnt in sonic 2.

I dunno. This was a really long time ago. I think it was more that I saw the gameplay and thought it was solo. I usually played those games with friends, so when I saw that, I was turned off. Also, I guess playing as Knuckles was a tease in Sonic 3. Since you really never played as him until Knuckles...and yes those games were supposed to be one whole game, but it wasn't back at the time. So I was didn't play Sonic 3 out of spite.

Yep I still got that for my PS2. Phantasy Star was the main reason. Shinobi, Golden Axe and Sonic were great additions. I think Altered Beast was in there too. Such great games...too bad there was no Shining Force though. So sad!

That it was. I loved WWII shooters, too bad they were done to death, and used merely as a fad. I hate fads. So next generation is going to get sick of military shooters, so what're we gonna have next. Futuristic WWIII shooters with awesome futuristic weapons and tactics? Call of Duty is going to take a page from Battlefield 2142, I just know it.

Lately I haven't had too much of a chance to really get anything for myself, but today I was at the mall hanging out with a friend who works at Hot Topic, and I noticed an album on sale that hangs out in my musical wishlist here:

It's pretty decent, not the greatest EP out there, but I couldn't go wrong for getting some new music for practically free.

Couldn't resist...I just ordered the "It" 2CD score by Richard Bellis. I missed Young Guns 2, no way I'm gonna miss this one.

Went to Target today, they had Monster Hunter Tri on Clearance got it for $13, but I think that's about the price it's going for anyways.
