This is what ruined the who special for me.

I'm not sure if this was ment to make everyone laugh, but it failed here and ranks in my books as one of the worst ideas i've seen along with RTD comic stunt of the two doctors being pulled along the ground and the steam cyberman from "The next doctor".

Then RTD couldn't write himself out of a tight spot unless creating something totally stupid.

Two Doctors being pulled along the ground? Where is that from? But I agree on the shark and the steam Cyberman yes, not so good ideas indeed. I mean its a miracle people are still surprised about aliens in current-day England with that crap going on...

Spitfires in Space, same thing.....

Unfortunately a writer gets what he/she thinks is a funny idea to put in a show and everyone one else for the most part think it just silly or stupid, happens , like I said I still love the show.

Two Doctors being pulled along the ground?

Spitfires in Space, same thing
Sorry my Fault not to clear up the two doctor bit.

After Tennant's doctor met the would be Morrisey Doctor they end up in some warehouse where they try to catch some hybrid cyberman and then get dragged along the ground by holding on to the rope.

Yep. Spitfires in space killed "Victory of the Daleks". Something the Multi coulored Daleks could not do.

I have nothing against humour being added to the story if it works well, but there has been some elements that do not work.

I always remember Patrick Troughton's remark to Benton in the 3 Doctors when they are up against Anti-Matter .............

Benton: What do we do now Doc.
Doctor 2: Confuse it. Feed it with useless information. I wonder, do i have a television set handy.

This makes me smile and laugh every time i hear it and it just works. I also beleive pat's line was not in the script and he ad-lib the line and it wasn't picked up by Barry Letts.

Ah yes that Cyberdog...or whatever it was a cross with it. Heh I totally blocked the rope scene out, shows enough i guess what I thouhgt about it....but as they say in Fanboys (great movie about the fandom for Star Wars for those who dont know) about SW, but what also apply to Doctor Who: "....you gotta keep the flaws. Crappy effects, real puppets. That's what makes it so good, ya know?"

Or that line of Doctor 2....also good one indeed and while I did not saw that episode yet (just saw Hartnell regenerate) I do smile at reading it already :)

Oh, I absolutely adore the show, dodgy effects and all. I LOVE the bubble wrap larvae in Ark in Space.....:D Or that mutating hand....all bubblewrapped up and spray painted green. That stuff I love. My objection to the spitfires is about more than just the image though. Beyond the how. But, where did they come from? England must have had them already near completion, as there was only what, 10 minutes, half an hour, something like that to get 'em ready? Ya just can't modify a squadron of planes that quick, and without the Doc's help. And what about after? I am sure tech like that would have sped the war along. Seems the Doc just let it be...? Unlike him.Holes like that take me out of the story, and I hate that. It would not have been so hard to have hinted that it was already a project, and a quick non-sensiocal line about doing away with them would've worked. Just saying. The classic episodes sometimes dragged too much (sometimes?), but the new ones seem too rushed at times, often at the expense of the story.

Thanks Moontrekker! To be honest I think I'm getting more excited for "Torchwood:Miracle Day" than I am "Doctor Who Series Six". I've missed Jack and Gwen dearly and the premise seems bold and ambitions, what we've come to expect from RTD. The casting and new characters seem interesting. I'm really interested in seeing how this new dynamic works. Can't wait for the first trailer.

anytime, I could never get into Torchwood , I watched a few episodes maybe Ill give it another try. I have a feeling Doctor Who is coming to a close , I think they wanted to properly end the series as to why the show came back , probably wrong but just a feeling.
Matt Smith does a great job and I love the show but Im sure he doesnt want to play Doctor Who for a long time and the good Doc is coming to a end himself on regenerations. Just my thoughts nobody freak :)

and River Song said everything will change soon and not on a high note.

Remember in Trial of a Timelord is 12th incarnation is bad.

I'm dubious about your 'series winding down' argument, but the above point might be being mis-remembered. The Valeyard was an extraction of negative energies made into a being by the Timelords, from 'between (the Doctor's) 12th and 13th incarnations', a 'distillation of all that (was) evil' in him. The Valeyard's payment for getting rid of the Doctor was the transfer to him of all of the Doctor's remaining regenerations.

A refreshing of regenerative ability is certainly possible (see, for example, the Timelord's offer to the Master in the Five Doctors, or the stolen regenerator in Mawdryn Undead). There is also some speculation about Stephen Moffat's request to keep Jenny (The Doctor's Daughter) alive, and there has been further speculation about Susan Foreman's potential offspring (Big Finish aside).

On a practical level, Doctor Who is extremely popular and a ratings success, generating a wealth of income for its licensor, far in excess of its production costs. There seems no reason to believe that the series is expected to end unless any of that changes.

R

A small joke for those of you in the UK: I like the Doctor's Daughter, Jenny. I like the Doctor's grand-daughter, Susan. But which one is better? There's only one way to find out....

and your right about the Trial of a TimeLord show, its been awhile since I saw it.
It seems every time I watch one of these shows over again I pick up something I didnt see before.
Even watching Tennant's Return of the Master Trilogy (what I like to call it) again on BBC America I picked some things I didnt see before.
I have some pretty wacked out feelings about who River Song is too.

Forgot to mention... The actual quote was between the Doctor's "12th and final incarnations" which one could assume means between 12 and 13, but technically leaves the door open for interpretation, i.e. between 12 and 508, between 12 and 999, etc.

Amanda

I have read much speculation that the limit on regeneration was an artificial one, set by the Time Lords themselves. They can offer a "new cycle" to the Master for that reason. So with them gone, no limit to the Doctor....

Plus, that limit was only brought up now and then. The writers of the series could easily just ignore it. As for Susan, there is no real reason she can't still be out there. Others too. I do not believe the Rani, or the Meddling Monk would have laid down their lives for Gallifrey.....also, I think it odd that Jenny regenerated, but did not change appearance..

For what it's worth, Doctor Who will continue until the day the ratings get bad (or, more to the point, when it stops making money) then it will die. Does anybody seriously think people at the BBC will be sitting round a table and will say "Well, Doctor Who is the biggest f**king thing EVER of all time we've ever done in the history of mankind... but we must maintain continuity with some throwaway remark somebody made forty years ago, and that says the Doctor can't regenerate anymore. Let's pack it all in, shall we? Fancy a cuppa?"

Don't forget, these are the same guys who have completely wiped out the Daleks at least twenty times, each time we've definitely got 'em this time, oh, wait a minute, a few of them limped away in a broken ship / escaped into the void and are hiding in a big football / a time lock / they came from a parallel universe / they were hiding in Winston Churchill's attic eeking out a meagre existence making tea. The same guys who got rid of Rose Tyler and categorically stated that it was completely and utterly impossible to ever ever see her again - until 12 months later when a few guys hack together a machine that can do the job just fine.

The "Doctor running out of regeneration cycles" issue will be dealt with in one of three ways:

a) It will be completely ignored.
b) It will be briefly mentioned and explained away with a tongue-in-cheek line like RTD tried in the Sarah Jane Adventures.
c) It will be made a big plot point to build suspense but will ultimately be overcome.

Doctor Who will wind down when people stop watching it or sales of plastic Daleks drop... and not before.

As one of the producers stated , its Doctor Who and Science Fiction we can do what we want too and no one will dispute it :)

and btw I did not say the show was coming to a end, I just said its a feeling , like feelings you get when you leave your place of residence and wonder if you locked the door.

Then it can keep being the longest running science fiction tv show in the history of tv.

tangotreats
01-13-2011, 12:33 AM
Haha, understood. :)

Honestly, I wouldn't worry. New Who is shifting mood... a lot... with the departure of RTD. I don't feel any attempt at winding up though... quite the opposite. It feels like it is broadening its horizons, reinventing itself, trying not to get repetitive (which even the most ardent RTD fan must admit, it was in imminent danger of becoming) etc. I believe the River Song business will give us some amazing revelations (and something tells me possibly the very best episodes of New Who so far) but honestly nothing that will upset the basic concept of "Doctor In Tardis Goes To Random Places With Companion Or Alone And Does Exciting Things Whilst There".

Sci-fi is good at taking things to the absolute brink of hell but ultimately ending with the important players roughly where they were to start with. Doctor Who in particular seems to have the biggest, most shamelessly exploited "reset" button of any sci-fi in the entire history of humanity. ;)

Very True my friend , cant wait for Season 6!!

I think River Song will jump start the Doctor's life like he never imagined

gives a whole new meaning to nothing worse than a woman scorned.

@Takehiro Found this on a very reputable site called The Millenium Effect:

A full-length version appeared on a BBC Themes LP, cassette and CD in 1989, including versions of the main melody with alternative instruments and different opening and closing 'starburst' effects. Unlike earlier extended versions, this does not feature anything dramatically removed from the structure and melodies heard on-screen, but offers a repetative 2 and a half minutes that are very faithful to the theme as heard on TV. A Doctor Who theme single was never released, arguably as a result of the series' dwindling popularity, and the extended version has yet to be released on a Doctor Who soundtrack release.

Duration: 2'37"
Primary Release: The World of BBC TV Themes
Code: BBC ZCF 705

Hope that helps.

Hmmm... Well. The clockwork droid's theme. And... The music in the waters of mars where the doctor is controlling... The robot whose name I've forgotten. Weird request:

Does anybody here have for me the extras for the audiodrama story of The Ratings War? This story about Beep the Meep was releashed freely with Doctor Who Magazine #313 alongside the first episode of Invaders of Mars. The extra's are:

- Colin Baker tries to help Alistair Lock sing the Meep song.
- Beep the Meeps full rant while being dragged off by security guards, promising vile punishments and tortures upon the entire human race. And its pets.
- The full Meep song from Beep and Friends, a happy, bouncy chorus of death and mutilation

I am putting the audio dramas in this thread:

Well... Series 6 will have easily some of the finest scoring so far... I can only be vague, but there is a beautifully tender new theme that actually made me cry in the control room (don't ask what it's for because I really can't say) some terrific rip-roaring action (with complicated rhythms that gave the brass a spot of bother once or twice and required a hasty re-write on the podium to get it right) and an absolutely aching viola solo. About an hour was recorded at this (six hour) session (three hours with a fifteen minute break, an hour for dinner, and another three hours with fifteen minute break) and there will be about the same again recorded later on in the spring for the second half of the series. When I was there, they recorded only the orchestra, which was full sized at 85 players - about the average for the BBC National Orchestra of Wales sessions. There will be a few more sessions with a range of different sized ensembles (from a handful right up to small orchestra) in London as well. Choir overdubs will be recorded (also in London) and there was a solo vocalist recorded yesterday.

The orchestra is recorded all at once - not in layers as some Hollywood productions do - although sometimes they'll record one cue a few different ways - maybe omitting brass, woodwind, strings, or without the main melody so they can be used more than once, or so they can dub something in later. (We recorded one cue with a bassoon melody, and again without the bassoon as Murray planned to replace the bassoon with a vocal line later on - but recorded the bassoon just in case the vocal session never materialised.)

It's all done with military precision, and the session finished literally with about 40 seconds to spare. 58 minutes got finished in total, which I was told is pretty exceptional although they managed 64 minutes once (for Voyage of the Damned) they would usually hope to get between 45 and 50 done in that time. Fifty seperate cues were recorded and some of those were divided into smaller chunks to be joined later on in the edit.

That's about all I can say without getting in trouble - hope this is interesting to somebody. :)

Just 6? We can take them :P

No seriously, I would love to hear more and in more detail, but this is not worth to get in trouble for. Write everything down in detail and when the time comes (I figure around the time of the cd release of this soundtrack) spoil us with it ;)

Ah, of course. ;)

I took a lot of notes while I was there for my own personal recollection, and once I get them all together into order they'll be quite interesting. Obviously when the series is over, most of it will be fair game.

In the mean time, as Ms Song might say, "Spoilers...!" ;)

Nothing new was recorded as far as the main theme goes, and if they were going to do it it would've needed to be at Monday's session. The theme on the Series 5 soundtrack was 1:05 and I doubt it'll get any longer than that...

I really like Murray Gold's 2008 and 2010 themes but their length is short for me and i wonder why they did not do an extended verison of the themes, like they did for the 2005 theme on the Series 1/2 soundtrack.

---------- Post added at 09:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:15 AM ----------

I just had a crazy thought... Remember the duplicate of the 10th Doctor that is on the parallel Earth with Rose? Rose is killed by "The Silence" wich is permeating every universe in existance, the "Doctor" tracks the source of "The Silence" to our dimension and crosses over to ennact his revenge. Unfortunately, his plan requires our whole universe to collapse, causing a quantum paradox wich leads to the "Doctor" becoming "The Silence" himself. The 11th Doctor, Amy, Rory, River and Jack (yes, i'm bringing Jack back) rush to stop him and in a last effort to do so, River takes a gun and kills him. (He's the good man she killed - that's as close as having her kill the Doctor himself as i can have her) The universe is saved but River is captured during the escape from the civilization the "Doctor" had taken control of. The Shadow Proclamation sends her to prison. (We know how she got out after that).
The only reason this isn't the actual story is because this isn't RTD show anymore and Moffat has a lot more imagination than me. :) Oh, and sorry for the slightly off topic rant. Hope Series 6 starts soon or i'm going to kill myself.

I just had a crazy thought...

MMMMM! Mphhh! Mrrmrrrrrmphhhhhhh! *tries to talk but has Duct tape over his mouth*

I would be massively surprised if Rose came back - or even gets a mention, and even more surprised if the 10th Doctor shows up. This is not a clue or anything you should be reading between the lines (seriously) - just my personal thoughts. Tennant had a great send-off and Moffat seems to have spent the last series attempting to put as much distance between RTD's series and his as possible - it doesn't seem like his style to bring back a bunch of tired out characters to get himself out of a bind. Moffat isn't in the habit of giving a character a powerful, emotional, weighty sendoff and then coming up with some dumb excuse to get them back whenever he can't think of any better ideas... (Hey there, Russell!) I certainly can't see him writing an episode where the climax is effectively that a former companion who was in love with the Doctor and is feeling sorry for herself, trapped in a parallel universe, receives a Doctor-shaped sex-doll to play with...! (Can you tell, I am not a great fan of RTD?) ;)

Series 6 begins in April, temporary break after episode 6, resuming again later on the year.

Retconaddict2: I think I can mention that; the "IATD" theme turns up in a few cues - and I think it's working really well this time. It's rhythmically more complex and a lot more symphonic.

I was just throwing stuff in the air, it was just something i thought up, literally, as i was writing it down. I agree with you that RTD and Moffat's DW are almost 2 completely different shows. I love the RTD "era", he brought the show back and had some great stories in those 5 years and how can you not love Tennant's Doctor (sorry to Mr. Ecleston but his Doctor was good but... you know...). But Series 5 was a different animal all together. I loved the whole series as a whole, even a couple of "weaker" episodes that did creep up. And if 6 is at least as good as 5 we're in for a great ride.

Only in April? I'll be crawling up the walls by then. XD

IATD is the basis for many themes of series 5 so i'm not surprised it comes back, as it did on A Christmas Carol. I actually like when a TV score has a few core themes to revolve around, as long as they use them in new compositions, not just replay the same thing over and over. And that happened here, IATD and a few others are woven into new themes and give you that familiar "taste" in all the right places.

April... really?!...

April........ARGHHH!!!

Xanax, anyone?! XD

Hello people - I've finally found my way here thanks to Exar Xan and Demonoid, with a plan to provide the latest MP3 and FLAC versions of the soundtracks I have compiled from Doctor Who DVD iso-scores over the years (and a few other things along the way - feel free to request - my archive is quite extensive).

The iso-score CDs are constantly in the process of being updated. When I first started doing them, I either did a mixed or unmixed version (usually mixed) not both, so only recent or remastered editions are available in dual format. The ultimate aim is to have mixed/unmixed versions of all the soundtracks, but so far the only titles with both options are: The Visitation, Mawdryn Undead, Terminus, Enlightenment, The King's Demons, Warriors of the Deep, The Mark of the Rani, The Two Doctors & Battlefield.

CDs not yet completed (but being worked on) are: Silver Nemesis & Meglos. The Seeds of Doom has reached a stumbling block (if anyone has the official Terror of the Zygons/The Seeds of Doom CD release of this, please PM me).

Unless anyone requests otherwise, I'll be posting the iso-score CDs in no particular order, in MP3 & FLAC formats, and mixed & unmixed where available, starting with...

The Two Doctors (Soundtrack by Peter Howell)

MP3 Mixed: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VTZPDT68
MP3 Unmixed: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=099E4FYK
FLAC Mixed: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8ZI8AQAW
FLAC Unmixed: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H9JW4QDJ

This soundtrack has undergone 4 remasters in it's time (one of my favourites). Never posted anywhere before in it's proper final fixed state, these are fresh rips using iTunes (MP3@320kbps) and Exact Audio Copy (FLAC). Mixed versions contain full CD art (JPG@600dpi), except the 2xCD sleeve notes and disc labels, which are included in the unmixed versions.

Next up: Remembrance of the Daleks because it includes the full-length McCoy theme sourced from FLAC as a bonus track.

Is this the track sourced from the Worlds of BBC CD or is it from the DVD? If its from the DVD, then technically its still lossy (AC3 is a lossy format, of course).

I've enjoyed his isolated scores for sometime and it's great to see the master himself shareing us his great work.

Looking forward to rememberance, as i remember hearing this score could not be mixed very well because of the constant changes in it, and example i belive is "Ace's escape from the dalek with the baseball bat".

Look forward to see more of your hard work here.

Thanks for the kind words of welcome - nice to hear that people enjoy my efforts. The iso-score CDs started out as a labour of love, before I had discovered internet sharing. And when it became obvious that the BBC didn't see a market in releasing DW soundtrack CDs (if only they did - would save me a lot of time and effort) I started posting online. 9 years and 30 odd CDs later, and I find myself 'revisiting' old CDs for remastering lol!

Next up is one that won't be getting a remaster, only ever released in unmixed format (something I had forgotten - thanks 1shikawa!).

Remembrance of the Daleks (Soundtrack by Keff McCulloch)

MP3: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DBGPMUAT)
FLAC: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6C8Q7708)

This has been remastered 3 times. The first edition had a track missing (Imperial Dalek Command), fixed in the second edition. Third edition was re-sourced from the SE DVD, which had a higher quality source for it's iso-score.

@Takehiro - Extended theme was sourced from a friend's CD as far as I recall (but my memory has been known to fail me). Wasn't featured on the DVD.

It's been a while since I visited this forum and this thread due to, ooh, life taking some unexpected twists and turns. But I'm back now! Wanted to thank Exar Xan, DrMatt and all the other contributors (which includes me - why thank you Grubbuts!) for all the hard work they've put in since I was last here. All those Dudley Simpson soundtracks from 70s who are hugely appreciated!

No, but this guy on Youtube ripped and uploaded all of them: DarthJedi2005 (http://www.youtube.com/user/DarthJedi2005?blend=2&ob=1) , and his other channel YouTube - DarthJedi2005remixes (http://www.youtube.com/user/DarthJedi2005remixes)

He's also uploaded a lot of remixes/re-recordings of the classic themes that I think have been released on DVDs or used on Big Finish dramas, or something.

Just be aware that he seems to have landed himself into trouble several times with the Youtube Police about copyright, so get them quick!

Re 'Mawdryn Undead' dodgy unmixed flac link - for some reason when I try to fix the link it gets changed.

Eg: "http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5OC7***9"

The correct link for anyone wanting this version (or who can fix my post):

"http://www.megaupload.com/?d= 5 O C 7 P T M 9"

N.B. Remove spaces from link address - even in quotes, it still changes the 3 digits to ***.

Anyone know why? is "P T M" some perverse sexual profanity I'm not aware of that this site self-censors? Lol!

P.S. 'Meglos' almost done - from DVD iso-score, not CD release (which had over 6 minutes cut from it - no longer!). Just got the CD art to do now.

Exar Xan

I cannot seem to find any profanity with P T M...so not a clue why this gets censored. If it was TPM I would have joked that someone has a severe dislike for The Phantom Menace, Episode 1 of Star Wars...but thats not the case now :P

Anyway I will make a note for it in the opening post so that we can still use your link.

Looking forward to see Meglos :D

@1shikawa - sorry I should have given 'release' details on those posts. 'Mawdryn Undead' only underwent one minor change: isolating the first music track - 'The Obelisk' - from what became the second track - 'This Car's A Classic'. 'Battlefield' is as originally released.

Now for something that has never been posted anywhere before...

Meglos

Whilst putting this together, I found a fair number of cues that Mark Ayres left off his mix of this (on 'DW @ BBC RWS: Vol 4'). Some I could understand why - annoying short cues that didn't mix well onto the start or end of adjacent tracks. But others - as you will hear - that are quite endearing. Of note is 'Rotation Direction Revolving' and the short little intro to 'The Screens of Zolpha-Thura'. In total, there's an extra 5 minutes 28 seconds of material not included on the official CD release.

Included are the sound effects made available on 'DW @ RWS Vol 3' and 'BBC Sci-Fi Sound Effects'.

Enjoy!

MP3 MIXED: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V75H696D)

Unmixed and FLAC to follow at a later date.

Do you mean soundtrack or score? If the former, your link is a recording of the sound of the programme with voices, sound effects and linking narration.

If the latter, from what I remember, I don't think there was much specially composed music for this story, although some tracks turned up on Doctor Who at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop - Volume 1 - The Early Years (1963-1969). It's not represented on Space Adventures, from a quick look at the back.

You can see a full list of the music used in this story on the PasB sheet: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/episodeguide/pasb/invasion.pdf

There is a compilation version, recorded from the programme and edited into a suite on the frist page of this thread.

Best wishes

It still blows my mind that the darker moments of this theme -- mostly used over trailers for upcoming episodes -- didn't make it onto the series 5 soundtrack. It's my favorite bit of I Am the Doctor, and it's nowhere to be found on any of the three discs we currently have which features the theme.

At least that YouTube mix manages to work it in at the 2:45 mark. Well worth having just for that. Sounds like Retconaddict's done some top grade lifting from the DVD/Blu-ray's soundtrack for that. It works well.

Any chance at getting a 320kbps MP3 of that, Retconaddict?

I thought people here might appreciate FLAC rips of the classic 80s DW soundtrack albums: Doctor Who - The Music I & II (re-released in the 90's under the titles Classic Music from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop - Doctor Who: Earthshock / The Five Doctors with a few extra tracks on the first album). Both albums are long since deleted - and even second hand copies cost the earth on ebay and amazon.

I have previously posted these on Demonoid, but due to a clever anti-copying mastering 'error' on the original CDs, any CDs burnt using the CUE sheets provided in those posts (and any other FLAC rips of these albums) will have resulted in incorrect track divides, with the beginnings of tracks at the end of previous tracks.

These versions have fixed CUE sheets, scans of the Silva Sceen re-release album art, and my own remastered CD art in the style of the original vinyl releases.

Enjoy!

Always a pleasure, Doc.

Here is a little treat in return. The OP wanted to keep it low key, but I have had a **ton** of pm's, and he has given me permission to post. Though I will flaunt forum rules, and not make a pretty, separate thread. :D

Was about to PM you babydoll. Glad you posted a link for it. But right now it's not working. Will check back later. So can not wait to listen to this!

Link is fine, I just checked. If you get a "unavailable" message, it just means too many people accessing it at once. Just keep trying, it''ll work eventually.

Back when I was first introduced to this place, I put up a request for anyone with the CD release of 'Terror of the Zygons & The Seeds of Doom' to PM me - and someone (whose handle I forget) most graciously did. The message has since been deleted (not by me). Board restrictions - of which I've only become aware of recently after reading the last couple of pages of posts lol! - didn't let me reply. I wasn't being rude. How I was able to actually receive the message in the first place still confounds me.

The reason for the request was that there is a track on the CD (now long since deleted - and another one that costs a mint on amazon and ebay) is that there is a track/cue on it not contained on the DVD iso-score. Being the completest perfectionist that I am, this put a spanner in the works when it came to doing my own CD soundtrack of the story. (There was a similar cue on 'Meglos' - the end 'The Deons' track - but luckily I own that CD).

If the person who messaged me is happy and able to post a FLAC rip of the album in this thread, please do. If not, can they message me again please.

Many thanks.

P.S. Work on 'Kinda' is proving to be a struggle - one of the hardest iso-scores I've ever worked on. Lots of very short cues, many repeated, long sequences of 'wind' with no music - very unlistenable to in unmixed format. If anyone here wants to help, I'm thinking of posting a draft version within a day or two for people to proof-listen. And if anyone has any ideas on excerpts from the story to include on the album, I'm open to suggestions.

I just want to say thanks for the thanks, but to also remind everyone it is not my rip. The thanks go to the member who gave it to me. He bought the album, got it, opened and ripped it, then made sure several folks got it right away. I got the link at like 8 in the morning, and am grateful he remembered me. Also, I only shared after getting his permission to post, since he doesn't want to, so those who are glad for an open link, thank....ya know. :D
