I've spent some time tracking down the right performances of the Bla Bartk pieces used in this serial and editing them to match how they appear in the episodes. This share contains two discs, the first containing the original tracks and the second containing all of the edited cues.
Artwork is included!
Downloaded a treat for me. When I unwrapped the rar. files, it seemed to want not to co-operate but did it all the same.
Splendid effort on your part, thank you very much.

My top unreleased tracks.
Doomsday theme in Rose
The Doctor's Theme (original version)
Basically all the original soundtrack for Series 1 & 2
Music to School Reunion
"Come with Me" , one of the best Murray Gold has made, i thought it would be released in the Series 3 soundtrack. The Doctor Forever variations are just brilliant.
The Doctor Forever in Gridlock, The Family of Blood
"Pit Stop" Jack clings onto the TARDIS in Utopia
Music from The Sontaran Strategem / The Poison Sky
The Doctor Forever / This is Gallifrey variations in The Doctor's Daughter
The Doctor's Theme Series 4 variations in Forest of the Dead
"Don't" from Midnight
"Bad Wolf" from Turn Left

I listened to that full podcast with Murray. here's a full list of information he revealed:
- A Good Man? & Missy's theme are confirmed to be on there
- Over 2 hours to 3 hours of music
- Also likes us doing unreleased music rips as they help him compile the tracks onto the albums
- Missy's theme did have lyrics but he hasn't included it. The Closing lyrics were "your death holds its sweet embrace" and the creepy singing is done by halia meguid who did the majority of vocal work in Series 6 & 7
- The Series 8 theme tune is presented in full with Middle Eight
- Silva Screen don't know an exact date but do have all the information ready to publicly announce soon. There definitely wanting the album out before 23rd May
That all sounds great! This will definitely be the first Doctor Who soundtrack that I get! As series 8 was my favourite New Series series, musically. It is totally deserving of the added disk.

This is unrelated to the OFFICIAL series 8 music, but I want to take it back to the leaked preairs. What was the specific music that was used in Deep Breath when Strax knocked on the door and the Doctor told him "shush!"? It had this pretty cool beat to it.

The music featured in the 'preair' was not Murray's Work. Before they add Murray's music to it, they place in soundtracks from other movies/tv shows show they could get a feel for the episode when shown to a test audience. But I don't know what that track is or where it's from. The 'preair' featured a lot of music from Alice and Wonderland and the film Unstoppable. I can't ID much other music than that.
Oh:
I cannot wait. I love how Murray likes us doing unreleased music. It'd be cool to see him post 'hi' on here, I believe we would all send about 6,000 messages to him in total.

I'm hoping that nothing from Last Christmas will be included, and that it gets its own soundtrack release with the complete (or near enough) score as has been the case with most of the previous Christmas specials. So we can get more music from the rest of series 8 as I'd like as much as possible to be released from this series as it really is Murray Gold's best score to a series overall.

I'm hoping that this is the case, too. It'd make sense for Last Christmas to be released as a standalone album, considering the past few Christmas specials have had this treatment. A 3-disc soundtrack complication of Series 8 music would be brilliant.

To keep it on topic, is there enough in Series 8 for 3 discs? I want Last Christmas included just because otherwise we'll be waiting till like November for it. lol

It's not unfortunately, The Caretaker track is a suite featuring when Clara races to the Doctor and Danny, The Doctor plants the devices and then when he brings the Skovox to Coal Hill and the ensuing encounter in the hall.

3 Disc's and there's STILL tracks missing:
The music when The Doctor tells Danny & Clara his plan to lure the Skovox to the TARDIS/Also plays when The TARDIS regrows in the Train Tunnel
The music when the mummy attacks the Chef in the kitchen
The other action pieces from Deep Breath
This, of course, depends on whether Murray uploaded the whole album, or a enjoyable bunch of samples.
I don't see 75 tracks covering 3 Disc's. That could cover 2 Disc's right?
Notice in the track 'Do You Believe In Santa Clause' theres cuts, slight sfx and even the Theme Tune Scream at the end.
Something tells me some of these tracks won't even BE on the Album and we have luckily managed to bag ourselves some exclusive ones.

Yeah Emotions Get The Better Of Him is a fantastic track. Long too. We need long tracks. They cover more music. You never know some of these tracks might be put together to create suites. Would explain some lack of music for some episodes.

Maybe the theme is fixed on the cd. Because in the interview he was talking about how he has an archive of old music. He could have possibly uploaded just a few alternate copies.
EDIT:
Yeah I think this is the case. "Do You Really Believe in Santa Clause" still has the sting of the title sequence in it.

That is the Moon (which is just a shorter version of There's a Rather Big Problem from the earlier evolution music uploads) was almost entirely excised from the actual episode, only the last 30 seconds of it play

The ending of Last Christmas "Every Christmas is Last Christmas" is missing the haunting female vocals. I'm so sad. :( That made the song for me...
If only there was a way to politely beg Murray to release it proper the way Hans Zimmer had No Time for Caution released AFTER the OST for Interstellar was already out due to fan outcry. Man needs to go back to using Twitter XD
Thats the 2nd time that happened (first with the haunting Clara theme from TOTD)
Its like Murray Gold hired some extra vocalists but the studio didnt want to pay the rights to keep their voices on the official CD)
It appears that the series 8 tracks are still on YouTube... (I still don't see this going well once Silva Screen or Murray Gold find out...)

still that odd glitch in on that 'Do You Really Believe In Santa Claus' track
but that seems to be the inevitable truth now
btw about that earlier tracklist
We Don't Know What's Real should come before Thinking About it
(Its hard to tell because the first 90 seconds of the track arent even used in the episode.)
I also dont know where Siege Mode and A Good Man An Incredible Liar are supposed to be

Siege Mode and A Good Man An Incredible Liar are from Flatline.
Siege Mode is when the doctor claims the tardis has reduced itself to siege mode but only the last part of that track is used in the episode.
A Good Man An Incredible Liar is when Rigsy drives the train towards the boneless and Clara persuades him to get off the train.
I also dont know where Siege Mode and A Good Man An Incredible Liar are supposed to be
Siege Mode (When they stop a train and the TARDIS goes into siege mode) comes after A Good Man An Incredible Liar (When Rigsy decides to ram the creatures with the train).

some of these tracks never played in the episodes either. Which makes it harder to identify.

A friend of mine added up the number of official tracks with the leaked ones and came to this:
Deep Breath
8 tracks
it's 7 without Heaven
Into the Dalek
Official: 5
Leaked: 8
Robot of Sherwood
Official: 6
Leaked: 6
Listen
Official: 3
Leaked: 3
Time Heist
Official: 4
Leaked: 4
Kill the Moon:
Official: 3
Leaked: 5
Mummy on the Orient Express:
Official: 5
Leaked: 6
Flatline
Official: 2
Leaked: 3
In The Forest Of The Night
Official: 3
Leaked: 3
Dark Water/Death In Heaven
Official: 12
Leaked: 13
Last Christmas
Official: 14
Leaked: 14
So Deep Breath (unless Heaven is the 8th track) Gets 1 more, Into the Dalek we loose 3, Flatline we loose 1 and Kill the Moon we loose 2 as well as Foxes track and we loose 1 from Dark Water/Death In Heaven. And depending on whether Missy's Theme and Missy's Theme Extended are both on there or if we just get the Extended, then Dark Water/Death in Heaven gets another one.

Regarding the very recent leaks of the S8 samples on Youtube; a little confession to make.
When I first found this site about a year ago, I made an account (different to this one) and downloaded literally everything I could get my hands on. But I got greedy and was taken aback by how great this stuff was. I uploaded the entire 'Girl in the Fireplace' bootleg on Youtube. I realised a few days later that I was being completely stupid and risky doing that, so I deleted it soon after. Luckily it didn't have many views.
Not doing 'owt like that again :P

Doctor Who Theme (Series 8) and A Good Man? (Twelve's Theme) are the first two tracks, according to the official track list we have. A vocal-less version of Heaven? That is the Moon is just a shorter version of There's a Rather Big Problem.

To be honest, I'm sort of glad for this website leak of the soundtrack: I really like Foxes version of Don't Stop Me Now, but according to Murray Gold it won't be on the soundtrack album due to Foxes' manager being unwilling to include it, so this may be the only way we'll ever get a hold of it.
In any event, my copy has been pre-ordered. I'm really interested to see what will be in the extra book of liner notes.

I like the vaguely "I Am the Doctor" quality that "(The Majestic Tale of) An Idiot With a Box" has. I didn't pick up on that while watching the episode.
From what I understand based on a recent podcast interview with Murray Gold, Steven Moffat and Rachel Talalay had wanted Murray to do a new recording of "I Am the Doctor" for that moment in "Death in Heaven" -- the idea being that he was finally coming to terms with himself; that he was really the Doctor again -- but Murray was adamantly against reintroducing "I Am the Doctor" after spending the whole season distancing the 12th Doctor from it, so they reached a compromise whereby he added an "I Am the Doctor" flavor to "Good Man".
I hope those shades of "I Am the Doctor" remain for further iterations of "Good Man". I think it works really well, and it creates a sense of continuity from one Doctor to the next.
Mortadelo
04-19-2015, 04:14 PM
I think Moffat should forget I Am The Doctor... I Am The Doctor was the Eleventh Doctor's Theme and we are with the Twelfth Doctor now.
The Doctor
04-19-2015, 05:07 PM
I'm not going to lie: I missed "I Am the Doctor" more than I missed Matt himself going into series 8.
More specifically, I missed the "Majestic Tale" variations of "I Am the Doctor", and I've never been very happy with the 12th Doctor's theme. It hasn't managed to pop off the screen in the same ways as the 9th, 10th and 11th Doctor's themes. I admit that it has grown on me a lot listening to it in isolation, and I've come to terms with the idea that the original "I Am the Doctor" theme has been retired, but I'd still like to keep the "I Am the Doctor" flavoring from "Death in Heaven" going forward into series 9.
But then again, I've felt the same way for a really long time about "All the Strange, Strange Creatures". I missed that terribly going into series 5. The wound was kept fresh for quite some time by the "NEXT TIME" trailers using "Final Days" throughout series 5, and the same thing happened with series 8 because they kept using "I Am the Doctor" for the "NEXT TIME" trailers.
Mortadelo
04-19-2015, 07:05 PM
I'm pretty sure that The Majestic Tale 2 will be reused, but not I Am The Doctor, it doesn't make sense without the Eleventh Doctor (and I hope that they don't use it again in the next time trailers!)
The Doctor
04-19-2015, 07:32 PM
I think the main reason I still associate "The Majestic Tale (Of A Madman In A Box)" with the 12th Doctor is because of its use in Day of the Doctor. The very first time we see the 12th Doctor, "The Majestic Tale" is playing. I'll always associate Capaldi's furious brow with that piece of music.

Here's hoping for some slightly different set of tracks for death in heaven I love the screen used version of majestic tale when we have the flashbacks to the enter the dalek and robot of sherwood. It reminds me of a mad man in a box variation at the start.

How have I ONLY Just realized that the beginning of Missy's Theme Extended is the creepy vocals from Heaven! I never knew till I listened to both back. They match. Shame it was never used in Series 8.

First thing,
Thank you for the sharing of the previews!!! Love everything. Cheers, Chris!
Second thing,
Pre-ordered 4 copies of the CD, dunno why. Might as well keep 3 mint copies.
Third thing,
Can't wait to come in the mail.

All the tracks are awesome, though there are a few things that stuck out like a sore thumb, particularly Idiot with a Box. I decided to extend it a bit here and there, to see if I could fix it up. What you guys think?

Right, finally got a new computer. He's called Orac and he's worked out how to do FLACs!
I'll be gradually re-doing all my previous uploads in lossless - although (rather like Pamela Nash) I've managed to wipe Time Meddler and half of The Moonbase, and a couple of tracks from Tenth Planet also appear to have gone AWOL, so they might be a while.
So, I'll start with the very worst:
The Massacre
http://www.mediafire.com/download/jpe8khl88fny2al/The+Massacre.zip
That's a brand new rip of Breath of Fire - my previous one was a bit over-loud and distorted. Everything else is from CD.
Thanks to impossibleego for the cover art!
Oh, and thanks to gnawingagony for identifying Breath of Fire in the first place!
EDIT:
And an mp3 version:

That's it as mp3s (minus Space Adventures 2, but you'll have that anyway.) I'll stick the FLACs up in a bit.

Which stories can we expect to be re-uploaded/re-done as FLACs?

Pretty much everything! - Tomb, Inferno, Space Museum, Tenth Planet, Moonbase, Mission, and if I can ever be arsed to rip it all again, Time Meddler. Then there’s a couple of vinyl tracks from Evil and Wheel, and the Electrophon tracks from Robots of Death.
I've got nearly-complete versions of Edge of Destruction and War Machines almost ready to go to. (War Machines will be a bit rubbish 'cos we’ve only got mp3s of the Inferno Nightclub tracks, but there’ll be two unique edits of Asyndeton to compensate!)
I’ll probably also have a bash at Galaxy Four and, when I’ve run out of absolutely everything else, I might do Web Planet. That is a might though. Because, you know…
Oh, and I’ve got the soundtracks for Quatermass serials and A For Andromeda / Andromeda Breakthrough looking quite healthy too. They probably won’t be any time soon though.

A Good Man (An Incredible Liar) is from Death In Heaven because the ending is when Cyber-Danny zaps Clara and blows up the other 3 Cybermen. But the Good Man Portion never played in that scene.

I still have access, but Gold is not listed at all. His name is missing from the composers list entirely. In fact, the whole list seems...slimmer. I know from a source that Evo was well aware of the rips I had been doing and posting. There was talk of them locking the site from the public. Which is why I stopped, at least for a while. Gold's tracks even downloaded at mp3 320, which is a generous bit-rate for mere samples. But anyway, yea they are aware of Shrine, thanks to my sets (like Hannibal, Bones etc) and Youtube is crazy public. I had been hoping he'd put some unreleased older tracks up. Ah well.

The above is true. He's not on there anymore and the search function on their site is no longer working.

Never used ther search, but Peter Himmelman, while still having samples has removed all Bones material and that is a recent change.
---------- Post added at 05:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:26 PM ----------
Daniel Licht and Mark kilian have removed all television samples (which means Licht chopped all Dexter tracks).
---------- Post added at 05:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ----------
Brian Reitzell has removed most of his stuff (no more Boss or Hannibal).
---------- Post added at 05:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:31 PM ----------
Peter manning Robinson has removed all television tracks (No more Without A Trace), and Paul Bucley has removed all but 1 track, so, HUNDREDS of tracks gone there. Aside from many composers being gone, looks like all but 2 or 3 have removed all TV and movie related material, leaving only their generic catalogs up. Looks like this source of unreleased and expanded material is well and truly nuked. All after Series 8's posting. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but I surmise Silva was not too thrilled about the leak and complained, and Evo cracked down on copyrighted materials. **sigh** :notgood:

Evo is well aware of this forum, and the uploads I had been posting. I have it on good authority that they were considering a members only type of private room. In this case I believe the youtube vids caused the mess, It does not help that this is the new album. Leaks like that, posted on YT would piss off any company. How many will now not bother with buying it, when they have it in mp3 320. And Silva and the BEEB are ruthless about takedowns and stuff. (see the who audio drama thread).I'd bet they went to evo and complained. And I'd bet composers were highly encouraged to either remove or hide from visitors any of the copyrighted material. I would not be at all surprised that Evo, or individual composers will come here with take down notices. Imagine, NO Murray Gold allowed.....imagine that none of my "albums" or any other material from there be allowed to be posted. But I see no way this could have been avoided. Anyone who is a member here can grab the links and post elsewhere. And like I said, Evo has paid close attention to this site. They were well aware of my posting, and mad enough to consider changing their site. The leaking of Series 8 would not go unseen here and likely was the last straw. We will keep an eye on them, see what happens. We really need a member to be accepted as a member. I keep trying but never hear back. :notgood:

I appreciate Murray gold trying to show off unused music, but he's done it so much here and I'd rather he had given more space to other music

The War Machines
https://www.mediafire.com/?n1ww4ml6swaqw6l
- FLAC where available.
I've included a couple of WOTAN-esque sound effects that I stumbled across, along with a radio interference sound that appears in virtually every old BBC drama involving a radio (although not necessarily The War Machines!)
There's also a unique looped version of Asyndeton from episode three, and the 8-minute track that Asyndeton was originally culled from. Yes, be excited.
I've been playing with mp3tag and it appears, rather in the manner of WOTAN, to have gone haywire - some tracks play with one embedded picture in VLC but a different one in WMP, even after I've deleted the one I didn't want to appear.
I have to confess I've not checked all the Inferno Nightclub tracks alongside episode one - I've just stuck them in the order they appear on the PasB.

Would be nice to have track durations, see if there's new things the soundtrack, and help arrange tracks that do not have the same name
