I have an idea, but there will be some work with it.
What do you think about a big search of library music releases from dedicated collectors?
It would involve doing a list of releases we are searching, an open letter and a lot of spam here and there ;)
How many of you would be interested in operation like this? :)

Oooooooooh. And dammit. I really want to see The Highlanders, The Macra Terror and Fury from the Deep. The Enemy of the World is bizarrely enough one that I'm looking the most forward to.
But hey, there are some historicals in there (The Massacre is admittedly the serial I probably know the least about along with The Savages), some good Two/Jamie and Briggy's first when he was just a colonel. That makes me happy.
So 42 down, 64 to go. I really hope that '90' comes to fruition (or perhaps it was 90, but a lot of duplicate copies). When we were at 108, I really didn't think there was much hope.

How about a little treat for the thread...
MURRAY GOLD
Doctor Who - A Celebration (2006)
Melanie Pappenheim, vocalist
Gary Williams, vocalist
BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales (leader: Leslie Hatfied)
conducted by
Ben Foster
The concert that started it all... it's been heard before, in poor quality... but I don't think it's ever been seen in this thread, anyway. It was broadcast on BBC Radio Wales, and about a month later on the BBC's Red Button service. I took a live capture from the digital transmission - and that's the source for this upload. Fascinating fact: BBC Red Button used to carry audio of only 128kbps (MPEG-1 Layer II) as the service was primarily only broadcasting sport, news, and that kind of thing. Knowing that they were planning to transmit this concert, I wrote to BBC Wales in early December of 2006 and voiced my concerns. To my absolute shock and surprise, about a week later, I received a phone call from the BBC's transmission centre in London who said they had been passed my enquiry by BBC Wales, that they agreed the present bitrate was insufficient for a music concert, and that they would divert some of the image bitrate to the audio stream for the transmission. I expected little... but I kept my eye on the audio bitrate every couple of days in December. It was 128kbps up until the day before the Doctor Who transmission... and on the day... it shot up to 192kbps as promised. So... it's basically down to me that this concert is available at the quality it is... If I hadn't said anything, we'd be stuck with 128kbps! I am therefore cooler than a fez and a bowtie put together.
You have three choices for downloading:
1 - High Quality - 860mb - 848x480 video and the original, untouched MP2 audio stream as originally broadcast.
2 - Medium Quality - 400mb - 624x352 video and VBR AAC audio ~100kbps.
3 - Poor Quality - 220mb - 480x272 video and VBR AAC audio ~64kbps.
High Quality is as good as it gets. Medium is pretty damn respectable. Poor is tolerable... but I'd recommend against it!
High Quality:
https://mega.co.nz/#!wpQwkTSK!GGI_6zXwqDJ30UHHGZotwVdMbd8Da-DxTgAuGFA4oMk
Medium Quality:

NORTHERN ECHO ARTICLE - MISSING 1960s DR WHO RECOVERED!
FOUR decades ago, Dr Who’s encounter with the mythical Yeti left a generation of children terrified and enthralled. The six part serial Web of Fear became one of the best-loved serials of the Patrick Troughton era. Sadly, in the 1970s the well-travelled time lord faced an enemy far deadlier than the Daleks – BBC beancounters.
In an effort to save money, tapes of classic shows were wiped and recorded over. In a matter of months some of the Doctor’s greatest adventures were lost… seemingly forever. The Web of Fear is one of the most missed serials, along with another Troughton era adventure, The Power of the Daleks. But now all six missing episodes have been found – in a dusty storeroom in Nigeria.
The previously lost nine shows were among 11 traced to a television relay station and the find brings back to life an entire six-episode story, while another is almost complete. The newly found programmes – which introduce the character of Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart, better known to audiences as The Brigadier – will be available on iTunes from today and will later come out on DVD.
Phillip Morris, the director of Television International Enterprises Archive, unearthed the programmes by looking up the records of overseas shipments of tapes made by the BBC. The stories, The Enemy Of The World (1967) and The Web Of Fear (1968) and both starring Patrick Troughton as the second Doctor, have now been remastered by BBC Worldwide, the corporation’s commercial arm.
Mr Morris said: ‘‘I remember wiping the dust off the masking tape on the canisters and my heart missed a beat as I saw the words Doctor Who. When I read the story code, I realised I’d found something pretty special.’’
Only one episode of The Enemy Of The World – which featured Deborah Watling as companion Victoria and Frazer Hines, later to find fame in Emmerdale as Jamie – had remained in the archives, so the addition of programmes one, two, four, five and six have completed the story.
Fiona Eastwood, director of consumer products, BBC Worldwide, said: ‘‘We are thrilled with the recent discovery of The Web Of Fear and The Enemy Of The World and we’re very happy to be launching re-mastered versions of these treasured episodes to fans as we celebrate the 50th year of Doctor Who.’’
The BBC still had the first edition in the Web Of Fear story, and the new finds mean only number three is missing. The tale introduced Nicholas Courtney as Lethbridge-Stewart, who began with the rank of Colonel but later became Brigadier.
The missing episode has been recreated using 37 still images which were available and the original audio which survived.

My pleasure. :)
Sad to say that it won't be seen (or heard) any better than this, unless the concert ever gets any kind of official release... which is somewhat unlikely given its vintage. I always felt that the concerts went downhill after this one - there was a bit of superficial spectacle at "Celebration" but it was basically about the music. The audience were respectful, and music was well performed, and the music was good. Then Prom 2008 became a little showier and a little noisier, and by 2010 it wasn't a concert at all - it was "Doctor Who Live" with Christ-knows what else going on, noisy audiences and showing off. You could've almost not had the music there at all and most people wouldn't have noticed.
Oh, well...

I've done all stories that have DVD isolated scores, excluding 'Greatest Show in the Galaxy' (the isolated score was littered with background circus music) and the 3 Tristram Cary scores released on the (now deleted) CD 'Devils' Planets'. This year, I am remastering all early single releases into 2 disc (mixed/unmixed) sets and updating the cover art for the whole collection, posting them here as I go. The whole back catalog will be made available over the coming weeks.

Slightly off topic question, but I figure maybe someone here will know: has anyone tried to isolate any of Murray Gold's score from Casanova from the DVD release of the show? I'm not sure if it was mixed in 5.1 or stereo, so I'm not sure if it's possible to do.

DVD is not 5.1. Loved the music for that - and 'The Second Coming' that is equally lacking in a surround track.

I like the new soundtrack so far, but I'm disappointed that the choral version of Pterodactyls is missing as I love that piece. And some of the music here feels like it's already been released. I'm sure I heard "Thomas Thomas" on here. Plus Clara Lives is a waste of a track. It's a nice piece, but it's basically the first part of "Remember Me". Still love the CD though.

Chriss, thank you for the upload. I agree with the others it is not cd quality, so that description is a tad misleading, However, this is an excellent way to tide us over. At least we can hear the complete tracks. I am quite sure cd uploads will be posted in the near future as soon as folks receive their copies and have the time/ability. Never fear folks, NO release has ever not been posted by one of us. :)

Yeah lol, quick save :) Have you noticed the beginning of The King & the end of Interrogation don't have the out of control strings going all over the place. They did in the episode but they are omitted from the CD, This is a GOOD thing lol, I thought the out of control strings just destracted the sound of the brilliant music underneath.

Yeah that short bit i'm not bothered about, but we essentially have those action bits as they were heard in Rings Of Arkhaten. Which is good! Also love how they included a drum beat into Hello Mates. That wasn't present in The Snowmen yet sounds better for it.

Someone has asked me whether there is any Blake's 7 music available, and I thought this might be interesting for some.
Simpson's music for Blake's 7 went the same way as his Who music - lost! However, someone did produce some suites from mostly clean bits of the actual episodes. I've uploaded those here (
http://www.sendspace.com/file/rkkkod) along with the original single and its B side . Credits to the original uploader.
A disco version was also released by the BBC. Mark Ayres redid the theme for a Silva Screen compilation. A further remix followed with quotes from the series, but I'm not sure where this was from (credits to the original uploader). I've uploaded those here (
http://www.sendspace.com/file/d8lf2y) .
The director of one episode - Duel - reportedly hated Simpson personally and refused to use him even though he was the series composer. He used library music instead. This was released on an unofficial Space 1999 album on the now defunct Retroteque site. I have this album, and have uploaded it here (
http://www.sendspace.com/file/0jcnmn) . I've left the Sp 1999 tracks in as they're enjoyable.
There was a further version of the theme by Geoff Love and his Orchestra. If anyone really wants this, I have it somewhere and can go and find it.

While the subject of other 70s BBC SF is in the air, does anyone know if the original theme from Terry Nation's SURVIVORS was ever released? Awesome theme tune, that was. I have searched old compilation albums and so on but have never found it. The BBC would sometimes release a single of popular theme tunes but I don't know if Survivors ever got one. Certainly should have though.

Do all the Dr Who DVDs have isolated scores, or just the ones you have already produced?
If they do all have isolated scores, do you plan to release any other classics, such as Genesis of the Daleks, etc?

Thanks, it does seem that the only way to get the original recording of the theme is a TV rip!
Given that Survivors was a popular series and that the theme is excellent, it is very strange that it doesn't turn up on old "Favourite BBC Themes" type albums, and wasn't covered by the mighty Geoff Love or someone similar. I've only ever found ONE commercially available version of the theme, a cover by someone called Mark Ayres (whoever he is). A little too synthy in some parts, overall though it is very good and well worth 79p on iTunes! Still would love the original or even other covers too.

Dr Matt,

If they do all have isolated scores, do you plan to release any other classics, such as Genesis of the Daleks, etc?
No DVDs prior to the radiophonic era have isolated scores, except: 'The Silurians', 'The Sea Devils', 'Terror of the Zygons' and 'The Seeds of Doom' and very little Dudley Simpson music survives, except some collaborations with the BBC RWS. All DVDs from (in story order) 'The Leisure Hive' onwards have isolated scores, except: 'Four to Doomsday', 'Black Orchid', 'Time-Flight', 'The Twin Dilemma', 'Timelash', 'Trial of a Time Lord', 'Time and the Rani', 'Paradise Towers' and 'Delta and the Bannermen'.
There is a (now deleted) commercial album of Dudley Simpson music from classic stories re-orchestrated on synthesiser by Heathcliff Blair, but (personally) I don't think it does the music justice.

All CD art has been updated and saved at 600dpi Q12.
As I've mentioned, I'm in the process of updating all my 'productions' - below is a list with MP3 & FLAC download links of all currently finalised albums (including the 2 mentioned above). All are sourced from DVD isolated scores and include mixed/unmixed versions - except: the Tristram Cary scores - sourced from the commercial CD Devils' Planets; The Sea Devils - mono music cues (to differentiate it from the official release which has much material cut from it); and The Five Doctors, where I have left the TV version unmixed alongside the mixed extended version.
Beside Five & Two Doctors - is there any update of tracklist, quality or artwork in the rest of listed releases?
I have all of them already, with all past updates, and I'm wondering if it's worth any downloading ;)

Hello all, long-time lurker, finally with something worthy (I hope!) of sharing.
I've been building my collection of DW music from the 70s, and the one elusive track has been Dudley Simpson's UNIT theme from The Ambassadors of Death. I've seen references to it here and elsewhere, but either can't find it, or it's just a rip directly from that sequence of the DVD, noise and all. Then I saw a reference to "The UNIT Family" special on the Inferno DVD and that Mark had reconstructed the theme for that. I finally checked it out and as far as I was concerned, it was more than good enough. It was there at the beginning and end with some sound FX or talking over each, but I was able to take the audio from two places and re-edit it into two versions of the theme for my own use, a 30 second and a 60 second version.
Would love some feedback, not sure if I should take another stab at it or this works for others as well. Enjoy!
Dudley Simpson's UNIT Theme from "Ambassadors of Death" (
http://www.mediafire.com/download/tv4bk88bd8iho9g/70sUNITtheme.zip) - zip file with 2 MP3s
Also, a favor to ask: can anyone point me to a link that would have a really good FLAC or HQ MP3 of Murray Gold's unreleased music cue that was used in The Waters of Mars (the robot speeding across the landscape) and The End of Time Part I (the activation of the Immortality Gate)? I have never had any luck finding a clean version of it other than something on YouTube years ago. I'd really like to try to reconstruct the whole music sequence of those last few minutes of TEoT.
Thanks!
(p.s., and a shoutout to Dr Matt, whose work I've been following since the early days of Demonoid; can't tell you how much I appreciate your work!)

OK, OK... I get the message! It will happen. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But soon. Definitely before the end of the year.
But I have little announcement - a mad moment of inspiration that came to me tonight - a Doctor Who musical project to celebrate the 50th Anniversary...
Here's the plan...
11 x CD Set - 1 CD per Doctor, an audio journey through each era of the series, with (as far as possible) music and memorable excerpts from each and every story.
Sound like a plan? It did to me, but then it dawned on me how much work it would involve, researching, sampling, mastering, mixing etc, so I have asked some others equally skilled if they'd like to come on board to help. And I'm sure you guys here will be invaluable with suggestions - and PLEASE make them! This is a huge task - so any classic DW music cues and quotes you think should be included - suggest them here! It would be nice if it was a community effort, and it's always nice to listen to albums you enjoy, knowing that you had a hand in their creation (I speak from experience lol!).
Here's hoping I/we can get them all done before the year is over, but the chances are that they won't come out in Doctor order unless I get some help (it's the black and white era I'll struggle with and I'm itching to get my hands on Peter Davison - so to speak!).
So here's hoping for lots of imaginative suggestions - the first disc I'll be working on and hopefully release in a few weeks is (you may have guessed) 'The Fifth Doctor' (the only Doctor - bar the 7th - where some isolated music exists for every story, even if only on the DVD gallery track) - so if suggestions could be limited to that (5th Doctor) era for now, it would be of greater help in getting the album out quicker (ie I have less to think about lol!)
EDIT: I'm pondering on a title for the series... "Doctor Who: A Symphony Through Time & Space"... Sounds a bit pretentious to me. What else?... "Musical Murmurings from the Vortex"... Bit too Tangerine Dream. How about, "The 11 CD 50th Anniversary Music Set DrMatt promised us in April, that kept getting delayed as usual to the point we gave up hope, and then were pleasantly surprised when all 11 got posted on November 23rd!"... No, no, no... Far too likely! ;)
Hey DrMatt! I did something similar years ago for the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Doctors using various sources (before many of the IsoScores were available from you!) and posted those to Demonoid back in the day. (I was "mrbig1316" on there.)
I was actually just now in the process of doing exactly what you described doing here in this post. Now I am not sure if I will continue with my plan or not.
I probably will. lol Any interest in collaborating?
Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and thank you here as I once did ages ago on Demonoid.

Thanks for that. Admittedly, I've not started on this project. It's still on the cards, but remastering all my old releases has been taking longer than expected (working with layered pictures @600dpi with only 512MB RAM... A very slow and tedious process). So a collaboration would be great, especially if Gwylock1 is on board - my original vision included recreating music from stories where none is available - and things like the Ambassadors of Death UNIT suite rsaintjohn has put together. With a few of us working on it, it's much more likely to happen. Anyone interested in helping on this project, please PM me so we can get the ball rolling.

I've been asking around after other sheet music, but no dice as far as I can tell, so I'll probably end up having to transcribe stuff by ear... when you have time, could you PM me tv rips of the bits you want redone? :)

Memory resides on your processor, not on your hard disk.

Nuh-uh. Memory is nothing to do with your processor, other than that they both talk to each other. (Of course, if we really wanted to split hairs, yes, a processor has a certain amount of memory physically on-board to use for its own purposes... but RAM, which is what most people mean when they say "memory" is quite unrelated.)
Yes, I'm in a pedantic mood today. Apologies and beer all round... :)

It makes sense just to download the FLAC and convert to MP3, if you really need to. It's easy enough to do it yourself.
That said, I also want to mention that FLAC is superior and preserves audio quality.
If it was up to me everything would be in flac, especially because, as I say, it's easy enough to convert yourself.

Thanks so much for doing this. It's wonderful, both musically and in the quality of the transfer. Like others I have stumbled on this site googling for Siday's music. I'm still looking for Conroy BM 315-B, bits from which appear in The Time Meddler and Tomb of the Cybermen, as well as in other places like the 1964 movie The Horror of Party Beach. So if anyone who reads this knows where to find a copy, that would be great... :)

This may have gotten lost in my original post with the UNIT music, but I wanted to try one more time... can anyone help?
Also, a favor to ask: can anyone point me to a link that would have a really good FLAC or HQ MP3 of Murray Gold's unreleased music cue that was used in The Waters of Mars (the robot speeding across the landscape) and The End of Time Part I (the activation of the Immortality Gate)? I have never had any luck finding a clean version of it other than something on YouTube years ago. I'd really like to try to reconstruct the whole music sequence of those last few minutes of TEoT.

39 - The Chase (Film Version)
40 - Slimed (Film Version)
41 - "Open the Eye" (Film Version)

Finally, as bonus MP3 files that are not part of the main album, there are two versions of the theme music demo: one recorded live from the audience at Manopticon, where Philip Segal appeared in early 1996, and another taken from the working print... and a special mix of 'In a Dream' as it appeared in the first Act of the film.
Track titles have been taken from the original album and the book 'Regeneration', which lists every cue (though there are some omissions - these are referenced in the accompanying notes).
While I really appreciate the hard work put into this compilation I wanted to ask if someone would be willing to share just the promo CD in flac. Pretty please ;)

Enjoy!

They're not doing the rounds quite yet, but they have been supplied to DrMatt for a future release.
The anniversary year starts on 23rd November, and I'm hoping that we (i.e. us fans) will have a few treats in store. Hopefully, one of them will be BM 315 being discovered!

Edit: I've just had a quick squizz on Ebay, as I do every so often, for BM 315 and the like. Boy have prices gone up! Some of the Conroys are 95. Thankfully, the ones missing for Who are 78s (BM instead of BMLP). If the (non-Who related) Conroy 78 on there is anything to go by, they go for 4.99 or thereabouts.
In my experience, Ebay is completely unreliable for record finds of this nature. If anyone's interested, check out the vinyl store in your area and ask for the Library or Production music section. Mention Chappell or Boosey & Hawkes if the person behind the counter is uncertain what you mean. The section's usually quite small and, so, easy to check. If you find anything, please do share with the rest of us.:-) As we saw quite recently, there are serious and comitted audiophiles on here who are able to get the best out of these discs and will handle them with the utmost care.
I put up a list of what's missing a few pages back.

Just a quick update on the Series 3 unreleased soundtrack I am compiling. I now have 49 tracks added so far from episode 1 (Smith & Jones) up to episode 7 (42)
The soundtrack will probably be released in a few days time. This album includes the unreleased version of The Doctor Forever, The emotional theme from the end of The Runaway Bride and the episode version of 'You Put The Devil In Me'
I'll update you all again very soon

Hi Chris666eden,
I love all your work with the expanded scores for Doctor Who series 1-4, and wondered if you were going to continue to work through the 2009 specials and then series 5 to series 7?? I keep listening to these tracks over and over again, and just wanted to congratulate you on your work.
Thanks again and keep up the awesome work

Here is the Mission to the Unknown soundtrack consisting of synchrostings by Trevor Duncan. It is complete with the exception of one (possibly two) synchrosting.

none of my beeswax, except that I collect Trevor Duncan music, but those Synchrostings cues and more are collected on the "Vintage Drama JW 2024" compilation. Can be played in their entirety (rather than the 30 second clips on the JW library site) here:
Vintage Drama | CD Catalogue | Ring Musik GmbH | Musik fr Visionen (

Also of interest here might be "Vintage Sci-Fi JW 2073" containing Eric Siday, Desmond Leslie, Van Phillips, and Trevor Duncan cues (although the Duncan cues do not sound vintage).

UPDATE: Unfortunately I could not find my disc containing Human Nature, The Family Of Blood & Blink so there will sadly be no music from those episodes.
Also here is the tracklist so far excluding music from The Runaway Bride:
Thank you for this. My favourite season for Who music. I really hope you find your disc of Human Nature and Family of Blood - probably one of the best scores for an episode.

50th Anniversary 4 CD Set

50th Anniversary Tardis Box Set
Silva Screen is pleased to announce that they will be releasing not one, but two retrospective box sets of music to the iconic TV show. A four CD set encompassing music from all eleven Doctors' shows, including many pieces that have never before been released, is an incredible journey through the 5 decades of Doctor Who, with tracks from composers such as Ron Grainer, Delia Derbyshire, Dudley Simpson, Paddy Kingsland and Mark Ayres right through to Murray Gold. The tracklisting and release date will be announced shortly.
In addition, this year marks such a momentous anniversary for the series, Silva Screen will be releasing an 11 CD set, one for each Doctor, all presented in a specially created Tardis. This highly collectable box set is completely unique and strictly limited. Now that Silva has announced an eleven CD set.... I really want to know what's on them before I jump further into my project...
I have a hunch most of the tracks will be from the Isolated Scores for those that have them and for the earlier stories it'll be scores that we do have and stock music. We shall see.
And who knows what they're going to do with McGann... probably just the Debney promo released officially now. ;)

I seriously hope we got more Murray Gold music, but I think it more likely it will just be the soundtracks repackaged for this anniversary set. They can pull together rare audio from the classic series, but they can't procure cues from the 2005- tapes which are readily available.
impossibleego
11-08-2013, 04:54 AM
The audio music gets into a murky area as regards canon...
Some (myself included) don't count the audios as strictly canon. Some do. I am honestly breaking my own rule about "canon only" for my collections by including some of the Big Finish stuff in there for the 8th Doctor. lol
Some fans will be REALLY angry if they use the BF stuff. And then there's the licensing fees with BF that BBC/Silva will have to pay to release the music from those.
We shall see what happens. ;)
Or some of the music from the audios? ;)
---------- Post added at 09:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:52 PM ----------
There will probably be unreleased Gold tracks included.
As far as classic music goes though... there is less of THAT available commercially compared to Gold's work.

Thanks so much, my week has been crazy and I never got to this!
And regarding the upcoming soundtracks, my hope is that Mark Ayres and Peter Howell got to spend more time this summer collaborating on recreating more classic DW music like they did with that "Classic Doctor Who Medley" they did for the Proms. I'm perfectly happy with new arrangements of classic music like what Mark did with this UNIT theme, or the Heathcliff Blair "Pyramids" CD.

I can't for the life of me remember where I got this or how long ago, perhaps it was even here (which seems likely, but I can't find the original post).
Maybe hybryd01, DrMatt and gwylock1 will find this useful if they don't already have it, and others will probably enjoy it. It's a collection of Dudley Simpson music from the Pertwee years. Sounds like it was just ripped from the DVDs or VHS and edited together. Includes sound effects and occasional dialogue, but is pretty listenable just as music. Each runs from about 10 to 20 minutes long.

I seriously hope we got more Murray Gold music, but I think it more likely it will just be the soundtracks repackaged for this anniversary set.
I don't think that'll happen, especially considering the 11 disc set is going to have a CD entirely dedicated to the 9th Doctor in it. The only way they're going to fill an entire disc with 9th Doctor music is if they pull from Murray's source tapes.
I expect we'll be getting a fair amount of unreleased material for 9 and 10. I could be wrong, but I really hope I'm not.

100%. From memory, it's in parts 1-3 (sod what the PASBs say!) - most notably where the Doctor's party enters the main tomb chamber for the first time. Hi,
Yes - it's from one of the DVD photo galleries. I can't remember exactly which one but Space Museum rings a bell. Or failing that, Time Meddler.
Assuming we've both got the correct title for the track (and I think we have - although the paperwork is never 100% reliable) then this presumably means that that nice Mr Ayres has got the people at KPM/EMI to digitise the USP tracks. Which might also mean we could be in for some real treats on this 11-disc box set thingummy... Although that's just total speculation on my part, of course.
And thanks for the thanks! :) I'll stick my Space Museum soundtrack up later - including the other two Off Center tracks.

Actually, most of the stuff on your list will turn up shortly on releases here. The exceptions to this will be The Ultra Sonic Perception tracks, and the missing Weinberger tracks (by which I mean from 232, 233 and 334), plus the odd one here and there.

2. Anything that I can't find here: BBC - Doctor Who - Classic Series - Episode Guide - Main Index (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/episodeguide/) ?

I can't remember what errors there are, but you'll spot them by matching the Millennium Effect information with the PasBs. You can find them all individually following your link, but then you have to go to each individual story to get them. If I can save anyone any time, I have them all downloaded.
Incidentally, did you source Moonscape and Suspended Animation from the album? If so, any possibility of an upload of the other tracks?

Balls.
I made an "Opening Suite" for my Tomb compilation - speed up and slowed down the three tracks to sync perfectly with the broadcast version - and now, having just listened to the DVD, I've realised that the version I synced everything to was edited! It was a compilation version from BBC Prime which omitted the "Part One" caption, meaning the whole sequence is too short!
Short version of previous sentence: my Opening Suite is rubbish. Ignore it, I'll redo it...

A quick apology: Someone asked me whether I had had any sheet music from Doctor Who. I replied that I hadn't, but it turns out that I did have some from the new series plus the original theme. For anyone interested:

Ok, this is my first time - be gentle.
Here's my Tomb of the Cybermen soundtrack, far more complete than has ever been commercially available anywhere...
Thanks for sharing the Tomb of the Cybermen soundtrack! There's some in there that I do not already have which I have previously been seeking, most notably that of Frank Talley's music.

Thanks Recons, another two new tracks :) Or just one...
Can anyone tell me if there is in fact a total of 4 parts of Wilfried Josephs' Space Time Music and 7 parts of Elrich Sendel's Astronautics Theme?
I'm a bit confused about it.

I really hope someone recorded this (and will post lossless!)
Oh yes, can I second (third?) a request for this?

Ah, thanks for this...
Though I'm more interesting Classic Who sheet music, as Murray Gold's work is pitifully easy to transcribe

Does anyone have all the links in one easy to download post?
Probably not the best idea, given the whole reporting of links, but it'd be nice just to drop the 50+ links into JD and let them roll.

Well, a Dropbox dump could work well, and I have yet have had a Mega link deleted. It would have to be a multi-part link on any normal host though. (No, I have almost none of it, as older Who music is of no interest to me)
