Dear all,
Sorry for my extended absence. Computer broke while I was moving home. Still broken :-(
However, some good news. The cassette with the soundtrack for Silver Nemesis arrived. I'm at a friend's house transferring it now and will upload when I can.
It'll be a straight rip from the cassette without track separation or improvement. My mate simply doesn't have the software. Would some kind soul volunteer to undertake this task for us?
Excitingly for fans of this music, there are some alternate tracks included (the Who theme performed on a lute, for example) and an extra track which I believe to be the music to the press promotional trailer for that entire season.
All the best

I can do the track separations if you can give me a list of where each track should begin or end and suggested titles for them :). I can not to improvements tho.
Oh and welcome back Recons!

Thanks.
Apparently, the extra tracks were sent separately, and haven't arrived yet.
I've had a quick listen. Definitely needs enhancement and possibly speeding up slightly, but it is all there, not a dud. They've tagged the McCoy theme on to the beginning and end. We've applied Dolby 'B'. The lot is about 40 mins long.
I'm afraid the track separations are where the silences are !
Going to try to upload shortly.

I have been using something called MP3 Power Splitter Joiner, or something to that effect, for some time to edit the audiodrama's of Doctor Who back into the seperate parts and it works like a charm for me, but cutting them up is all I can do really. Will still have a look for you on this tho :). Only I did not saw this episode yet, so I dont have a clue what the songs should be called.

Does anyone have the Doctor who font used for the episode names in the early 80's starfields?
I don't have it, but I thought a list might be useful for people:
The following information lists the fonts used on the Doctor Who title sequences, and the availability of their nearest equivalents.
Please note that the graphic designers who worked on Doctor Who (Bernard Lodge, Sid Sutton and Oliver Elmes) made occasional variations to the fonts for their own use, so strict accuracy may not be available generically. For instance the more eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that in the closing credits for The Deadly Assassin the "W" in "DOCTOR WHO" is styled differently to the "W"s in the rest of the credits. Why this was done I have no idea, but it was obviously felt to be important at the time!
Those wishing to replicate the look of the titles sequences used in the 1960s will find the excellent reconstructions of the credits for The Aztecs and The Seeds of Death DVDs to be a more accurate guide to their intended appearance. Distortions in the geometry and resolution inherent in the telerecordings of the 60s stories make them an unreliable a guide.
With the titles for seasons 7-13 an attempt to standardise the font style for the series resulted not only in the use of Futura for the captions, but also as the base font style for the creation of the series logos.

In terms of printed materials, the font 'Deviant Strain' was used regularly online and in DWM until the recent 2010 rebranding, which has been mostly replaced for the bog standard Gill Sans font used by BBC Two.
For "The Adventure Games" And "Doctor Who Adventures", the Strain font is being replaced by "Gazz Regular", another commercial font.

The books and CDs use Deviant Strain (although there is an extremely similar freeware font called Defiant Stain). The 05 -09 titles look to me like a stretched Gill Sans. The 2010 font looks custom to me.

THis is an audio recording of the actual story and not the music soundtrack track.
They only way we will see the Soundtrack is released is if it is released on DVD, and the BBC isolate the score so people like "Dr Matt" can do the soundtrack release.

They only way we will see the Soundtrack is released is if it is released on DVD, and the BBC isolate the score so people like "Dr Matt" can do the soundtrack release.
It's very unlikely the score still exists, as it is well known that no Dudley Simpson music tapes survive. In fact, for the Inferno DVD they wanted the DVD documentary "The UNIT Family" to start off with some incidental music from Ambassadors, and Mark Ayres had to recreate it.
I've just now come off the Restoration Team's website, and the article on Inferno indeed confirms that the score for Ambassadors of Death no longer exists. Unless there's a future recreation CD like Heathcliff Blair's, there's no hope of a release.
Strike the above comment about 'no Dudley Simpson'. I just looked at the Dudley Simpson fansite (DudleySimpson.com), and according to the DW page:
"The good news is, Mark Ayres of the DW Restoration Team has announced that some of Dudley scores for Dr Who have been recovered, and may one day see the light of day in the form of a CD Release. That's all he can tell us at the moment, but I sincerely hope that we will have the privilege of hearing it soon..."
There are no copyright notices on any of the pages, so I can't verify how old this information is. However, Millenium Effect lists under it's article on the Heathcliff Blair CD:
"A full-length album of rerecorded music from the Dudley Simpson era, owing to the loss of all but two stories' worth of music by this composer. "
Does anyone know any more about this, when the tapes were recovered, which two stories survive, and what condition they are in? If not, is anyone willing to investigate? The email for the DS fansite guy is:
[email protected]
and the Restoration Team's email is:
[email protected]
Fingers crossed, everyone...
EDIT: The only Simpson tracks commercially available (other than the Blair recreations) that I can find are those composed by Simpson and realised by the Radiophonic Workshop, such as "The Axons Approach" and "Dover Castle". These can be found on "Doctor Who at the Radiophonic Workshop Vol.2 - New Beginnings"

Hey Guys,
Here's the soundtrack for Victory Of The Daleks:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BYXEJUD9
Sorry it's taken so long but with everything that's happened recently i haven't had much spare time, but i'm getting back on track now. I couldn't find much avaliable on YouTube so I edited a version of a soundtrack that Combom did and posted on his blog:
http://lifetheuniverseandcombom.blogspot.com/. All I was edit and add a few tracks and include a couple of tracks I found on YouTube and make some album art. I might be doing this more often with the upcoming soundtracks as Combom's rips really are stunning. But Please check out his blog it is great!
I should hopefully have a soundtrack for The Time Of Angels up in the next week once again sorry for the delay. I have also started work on a soundtrack for The Waters Of Mars, I am about half the way through this, and a soundtrack for The End Of Time which I am about a quater of the way through. Also relating to the posts above, whilst scouting around my External Hard Drive I found a soundtrack I made a few months ago for The Ambassadors Of Death & Inferno. I'm afraid there is only about 10mins of music for The Ambassadors Of Death and it isn't the best quality as it's from YouTube and what i have ripped from a copy of the video. But it's still worth checking out and the music for Inferno is pretty good as it's sourced mainly from CDs. It also includes and edited version of the version of the UNIT theme which Mark Aryes did for 'The UNIT Family'. I shall hopefully upload this soundtrack tomorrow. Until then, Enjoy Victory of the Daleks and please check out Combom's Blog it really is awesome!
PS. I must apologize but the label and album number for The Eleventh Hour is actually 203 not 207 which is what I labelled it as, I am very sorry for this and I promise double check my maths next time :P

Although I have Inferno already, I'll compare it with this one to see if there is anything new, other than the new covers.
As for the Ambassadors of death, although not amazing, it is still nice to hear the music, as i have only seen it once, and maybe when it does get a dvd release we can see the tracks re-done, as I know Mark Ayres puts a lot of effort in to restoring the soundtracks.
Until then, I'll enjoy what you have done.

If this is true than I hope it will feature Music from the Specials and maybe a snaek peak of Matt Smith's Dr music and then In Nov, as the Box set comes out we will get an offical 5th Series release.

I imagine the disc that's going on pre-order in July will be the only disc we get this year, and will feature a couple of suites from the 2009 specials, with the rest of the disc focusing on series 5. A tightly packed releases like this isn't unprecedented: they crammed the series 1 & 2 soundtrack onto a single disc as well.
The optimal configuration would be a 2-disc set -- that surely wouldn't rack the cost of production up too much -- but then that would have been the optimal configuration for the series 1 & 2 soundtrack as well.
We'll have to wait and see, but I've got a bad feeling we'll probably only get one or two suites per special on this up-coming release, with the rest of the music focusing on series 5. Considered the rumored delay on a specials disc is to do with branding issues, I'd be surprised if we get another soundtrack dedicated exclusively to anything prior to Steven Moffat's era.

So I am fairly new to Dr Who and I am really enjoying it.I had always known about Dr Who, but never really seen it and being a huge Sci-Fi buff I finally decided to give it a chance at the advise of a very good friend. On another note I also tried giving Torchwood a chance, but found it to be too.....Dark, gritty and depressing. I like my Sci-Fi with a touch of lighthearted and epic adventure and Dr Who has that. This is the same reason I did not enjoy the recent Battlestar Galactica revamp or this new Stargate Universe series. I was a HUGE fan of SG-1 and Atlantis due to their lighthearted adventure feel.
Anyway I started with the 2005 Christopher Eccleston season and now I just finished watching The first David Tennant episode "The Christmas Invasion"

^ That was the rumor that was posted earlier in the thread...it's not been confirmed or anything yet by the BBC. I still find it unusual that the BBC has said absolutely nothing on the soundtrack issue or the record label except that reply they sent back to the facebook page folks.
What did they say?

I think it has been posted elsewhere on this board but essentially they got a reply back in March saying that there were no plans on releasing an album. Things of course could have changed since then.

Hello. So I have all the soundtracks for series 1-4 by Murray Gold, but I find myself wanting more music not on the soundtracks.
There is a lot of missing music that I would love to get my hands on. Does anyone have any specific episode music scores? I am pretty much looking for all of them, but If I had to start with any I would say that I would love to get a hold of the complete scores to "Christmas Invasion", "Runaway Bride" and "Gridlock"

I believe that Murray Gold stated a year or so ago that he'd love to release an unreleased music score for his Doctor Who tenure.

Just finished listening to the audiodrama of Doctor Who - The Horror of Glam Rock (wich was great btw, nice to hear Bernard Cribbins again, altho it would be years for him before he ended up playing 1 of my fav characters in the new series: Wilfred Mott, the grandfather of Donna) and it had an amazing rock version of the closing credits. Apparently this was added as a bonus track to the original cd.
Does someone has this track by Tim Sutton or the song Children of Tomorrow performed by the late Steven Gately?
If I was not at work right now i would have googled for it myself.

You can find it here on this very thread. On page one, it's part of Doctor Who at the Radiophonic Workshop Volume 1, track 6. It's the dematerialisation sound (the noise it makes when it takes off), but if you put it into an audio editing software (Sound Recorder will do) and reverse it, you get the full rematerialisation (landing) sound. FYI, the TARDIS take-offs/landings sound the same in both new series and old.
Or did you mean the background hum you hear in the background whenever you're inside the 2010 TARDIS? If so tell me, I have a clean ogg file of the new hum that I can convert into an mp3 if you want. The quality isn't perfect, but it's fine.

I believe I have that file already. It doesn't sound the same. I know that the new series TARDIS makes a very similar sound, but it sounds different, it's not the same sound. Thanks, though.

Colin Baker is my Favourite audio doctor as he plays a much gentle older version of his Doctor, and not the brash idiot Doctor that we saw on TV. THis is of course if you don't listern to the lost Stories series and then you'll hear him playing his TV version.
My Next Favourite audio Dr is Paul McGann. Especially his stories with Sheridan Smith.

...it's not the same sound.
It's the same sound -- a house key dragging along a low octave piano string with some Radiophonic treatment added -- it just sounds different because it's a restored recording, whereas the versions floating around on the Internet haven't been cleaned up or restored since the 1990s.
Has there been any further news about that, or the specials music?
Murray Gold has confirmed on Twitter that a disc is forthcoming, and he's also joked about keeping the Silva Screen execs locked up in their offices until the specials gets a release, so I imagine the 2010 soundtrack will be a combination specials/Series 5 disc (similar to the combination series 1/series 2 disc we got in 2006).

Track 4: 1963 - London in Ruins - Dalek Reveal

Hope you all enjoy it! The games are short, not that hard (as far as I know, I just went to the City of the Daleks), but feature the original actors Matt Smith and Karen doing the voices and great new music from Murray Gold so it is worth to check it out.

Littlesmegger: Yeah I know, thats where these tracks come from ;) problem was getting them into MP3 (solved that) and now its just a question of finding the right tracks for the right order and editing few of them together. Like what I did for 1963 - London in Ruins - Dalek Reveal, cause they had it split up in 2 tracks (cutscene 01_01 and cutscene 01 from top of my head). You can still hear this cause I miss a few seconds pause between the two tracks. Next up will London (Ambience) and Getting Access to the Underground.

Does anyone know when the Score for the new season is coming out? I'm going nuts with the new Doctor's action theme. Mr. Gold has done it again. And Matt Smith is brilliant as the Doctor.

First of all I would like to give a belated thanks to Dalekdude for giving us The Ambassadors Of Death and Inferno. Even though Ambassadors of Death had SFX in it, that was better than nothing and hopefully it will be released in the future on DVD.
I have some more requests, I looked these up to make sure they have been released on DVD so you have something to work with with great quality.
The 3rd Doctor: Spearhead From Space, The Claws of Axos, The Three Doctors, Carnival of Monsters, The Monster of Peladon, The Curse of Peladon, Frontier in Space, Planet of the Daleks, The Green Death, The Time Warrior
The 4th Doctor: Robot, The Ark in Space, The Sontaran Experiment, Genesis of the Daleks, & The Deadly Assassin.
Take your time to make these if possible and there is no rush. Thanks for all that you do for this thread and keep up the good work, thanks again!

@ultra_jsdf You can't get clean music from the old series. It was produced in mono (apart from a few of the last McCoys), and you need 5.1 to rip music. I have no idea how dalekdude got Ambassadors of Death or Inferno, but as far as I know, there's no chance of "clean" rips, unless you get lucky enough for the music to not have any dialogue or effects over it.
If Dudley Simpson did the music, (with one or two rare exceptions), the only existing copies or the Heathcliff Blair recreations. If the music was done by the Radiophonic Workshop, the DVD will usually feature an isolated soundtrack. That's where DrMatt gets his from. If the story's DVD doesn't have an isolated soundtrack feature, then your only hope is bootlegs such as Dominic Glynn's Black Light (DrMatt did a fantastic release of this, btw).

bootlegs such as Dominic Glynn's Black Light (DrMatt did a fantastic release of this, btw).
Black Light isn't all bootleg as it was originally released as a audio tape back in the 80's.
Trial on side A & Dragonfire on Side B.
This release I used to have and i belive it was either offered by him through the pages of Dr Who Monthly/Magazine or through the Appreciation Society?Fan Club in the UK.
I also belive that a lot of Dudley Simpson's score are lost and this would explain why his B7 music has never appeared.
recons
07-16-2010, 08:07 AM
1shikawa is perfectly correct.
Simpson's scores for most of his Who and B7 work are lost. (There are some ambient tracks of the latter around, but I'm not sure they are Simpson's work; there is the odd Who cue around also, such as one from The Mind of Evil, which have appeared on other albums or shows).
Black Light was not a bootleg. It was issued by Dominitemporal Services Ltd which one *might* consider the business arm of the Appreciation Society. Their first (cassette) release was Space Adventures, which was expanded to include other tracks on CD. Their other release was Castrovalva and Mawdryn Undead. DSL was run in part at least by Julian Knott who now runs the brilliant Roobarbs set of webpages.
The first run of Black Light had a sound fault which is also evident on Dr Matt's excellent reworking. There is, I understand, a much rarer second run which does not have this fault. If anyone out there reading this has a copy of this second run, it would be very welcome here, particularly as the Trial DVD set did not have an isolated score. (A shameful omission in my opinion).
While we're talking about missing music, does anyone have the bootleg of the Delta and the Bannermen score? This was another DVD iso score omission and another shame in my opinion because, while I'm not a devotee of Keff McCulloch's music, it was the best of his scores for that particular season.

I expect is was felt it wasn't worth spending the money on as sales were anticipated to be quite low. It's regarded as one of the worst Who stories. Personally I think the score is one of the best bits about it and would have liked to have this.

@recons If you're talking about the cue I think you're talking about, the Mind of Evil cue was by the Radiophonic Workshop (it appears on DW @ the Radiophonic Workshop Vol 2), so that's why it survived. I've heard from various places that there are one or two scores still surviving, but have yet to see the light of day publically. I think Mark Ayres' article on the Who theme mentions there were a few exceptions.
Also, I found the one cue I wanted out of Bannermen, the action cue when the Doctor and another character are setting up some sort of gizmo with the speaker. It's on the 25th Anniversary album as "The Sting". Or have you already got that?
@Momaru Maybe because it was an awful score for an awful story? :)
@recons (again) Personally, I think the lack of isolated score on DVDs is usually down to size limitations. I was really looking forward to getting the Trial theme off the TOATL DVD, but there wasn't one. I chalked that up to Eric Saward being childish and wanting his own separate commentary track. Delta's less obvious. The Stripped for Action, interviews and Hugh and Us might have done the same, but come on, an extra audio track can't take up THAT much room.
@Momaru (AGAIN) For Bannermen? McCullough.

I'll have to check, the Mind of Evil cue I'm thinking of is by Simpson but is on an RW album ("21" IIRC). The Milonga and some sound effects appear on another RW album (the name of which escapes me for the moment). And there are other examples.
"size limitations" - precisely my point. You have a set size. If it's not going to sell as well as other releases, you spend the cheapest amount of money on the cheapest extras, and fill your size up with that. IIRC Dilemma doesn't even have a Making Of feature, does it? Dilemma is a dreadful story, badly timed, with faulty plotting, poorly acted and directed, mitigated only by one superb performance by an experienced actor (Azmael) and a reasonable score IMHO.
Delta - yes, thanks. I meant music not extant on any other album.
The Trial theme - do you mean the score? If you do, then I agree. Bad omission, and I would have spend the money on extracting/recreating the score for Timewarp if I had been the comissioning editor. If you mean the theme itself, there are versions on the DVD, and on Dr Matt's excellent release.
I think Momaru might mean The Twin Dilemma, in which case, the composer was Malcolm Clarke.
(incidentally, has anyone been over to Demonoid and PM'd Dr Matt about joining us? He would be a great to have here as a member of our gang ).

Additionally, Timelash had no incidental score on the DVD either. There is a suite on the gallery and there's another suite on a RW cd. It's a shame, as the score is by Elizabeth Parker and I'm sure this was her first job as composer after she joined the RW.
She's done some smashing work since.

It'll be released worldwide later this year as part of a remastered boxset, with additional interviews and bonus features not previously released.
So you'll be getting the movie late 2010.
Unfortunately, there's no R1 release planned for the Revisitations boxset, because of the movie and the rights issues associated with it. When the time comes to release the remastered stories in R1, they'll probably sell them (minus the movie) as separate DVDs (that's my guess, at least; they've broken up R2 boxsets for R1 before).

@recons In the liner notes for Vol 2 it says quote "the Keller Machine Theme appeared (as Minds of Evil) on the Workshop's 21 album". So yes, the Vol 2 track is the one you're looking for.
Trial theme - I know, I ripped off the Trial theme video from the DVD yonks ago, but deleted it when I got DrMatt's superior Black Light release, which contained 320kbps copies of both the remix (originally from that DWM Flexidisc release, apparently) and the original 1986 version

So, to sum:
There are three soundtracks, FWICG, that have not been released as isolated scores, though we know that the music does exist as such:
Timelash
Delta and the Bannermen
The Twin Dilemma
Am I wrong?
Delta and the Bannermen is the only story for which I don't possess a complete score.

Incidentally, here's the series 5/specials track list for the Proms:
The Madman with a Box (Prologue)
An Untimely Arrival
I am the Doctor
Battle in the Skies
Amy
Liz
Lizards
Vampires and Vincent
This is Gallifrey / Vale Decem
Pandorica Suite
Song of Freedom
Doctor Who Theme
While we wait for the official album(s), the Proms will satisfy nicely. The previous Proms was beautiful.

As far as i know that there is only one version of the audio release of Genesis and that is what was released back in the 70's on LP & Cassette and then later released on CD.
It is a very crude cut down version of the six part story with TB narration. I belive this is the version that came out with the Telegraph, but cannot confirm as I didn't get past the 11th Dr story which is what i only wanted.
Muuuuule
07-23-2010, 12:30 AM
The CD version is expanded a little from the original LP, and also contains the "Exploration Earth" adventure that was a BBC Schools broadcast.
It's not actually as crude as is made out - TB's narration is very effective and is not too intrusive. All of the "Money Moments" are included....and letting Skull Cinema fill in the effects and images is a great alternative way to relive this amazing story. There is a slight discontinuity and change from the television version, involving the TARDIS and the - what was it called? Time ring? - but you'll see what I mean when you listen...

I got all the Telegraph discs, and as far as I know it's the same as the LP. Was just wondering if anyone could confirm. And I'm something of an editing nerd, I can spot cuts and dubbed dialogue pretty well, and I never flagged any crude edits, and the TB narrations fits the tone really well.

@recons; thank you so much for Ozymandias and taking the time to upload any others you have. The 'Conversation with the Eighth Doctor' is indeed a DVD but still part of the 'Big Finish Talks Back' series and Paul McGann rarely speaks out about his time in Doctor Who that I would love to see this DVD interview.
I have a question though; is it possible to get the soundtracks from the audio stories where the music wasn't released (as in the 1st post, I have downloaded all 8 of them) such as the music in; 'The Haunting of Thomas Brewster', 'Gallifrey series 2 and 3', 'The Time of the Daleks', Neverland, 'Zagreus' and 'The Next Life'.

It occurs to me -- Even though the isolated score wasn't included with some DVDs, not because they didn't exist but because they wanted to use other extras instead, haven't they still been recorded in 5.1 sound? Which means it should be isolated with software, yes?
ReddiShadow
07-23-2010, 03:03 PM
@Momaru Depends on what you're talking about. If you mean the new series, there are already rips of unreleased music. If you're talking about the old series then no, they were produced in mono up until the very end of McCoy, when a few were made in stereo. If you mean those specific DVDs that have 5.1 remixes, often they already have isolated scores in addition to 5.1. However, if there is a DVD with 5.1 that doesn't have an isolated score (and no examples spring to mind off the top of my head), then yes, that can be done.

The Best one so far, IMHO of course.

Incidentally, will you be including the 20 minute interval docu?
If no-one else will, I can post a VBR rip (hovers around 160-192kbps) I made off the broadcast. Although it was nothing I'm sure we all haven't heard before, hearing the audio minus the visuals really allows you to appreciate Dudley Simpson's score.

Here is the soundtrack for the Pandorica Opens:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K7NX68G0
This soundtrack is amazing, one of the best we've heard so far. I have included some tracks from the Danish transmition of The Pandorica Opens which are different to the normal and are amazing.
So sorry it's taken so long.
Like my other series 5 uploads it's adapted from a rip by Combom at
http://lifetheuniverseandcombom.blogspot.com/ so all credit to him. As i've said before please look at the blog as it is fantastic.
I'll hopefully have the rest of the soundtracks for series 5 up soon including a re-upload of The Eleventh Hour and Victory Of The Daleks. Once I get the files from my old laptop i shall upload Vincent & The Doctor and The Lodger and also upload The End Of Time, Revenge Of The Cybermen, The Invasion, Genesis Of The Daleks and The Waters Of Mars. I also made a soundtrack for City Of The Daleks, but i noticed Exar Xan has already uploaded one so I'll just upload the album art instead when i get the file back.
I'll be back with more soundtracks soon. Once again sorry they're taking so long, but they shall be up shortly. Until Then.
Enjoy! :)
Also for anyone who is interested, here is some album art I created for tonight's proms for when an upload comes along:

That would great.
I remember getting the 2008 proms split into different tracks as the narration needs to be tracks of their own.
I've just listen to some of the current proms where Matt Smith is talking about device in his hand that makes different noise and he was in a differnt time zone. It was just like listening to him on TV as his Dr starts to waffle, but made me smile.

Not at all. That would be great :)
I thought to try this myself, but it seemed rather too cumbersome a task; my own preference is for a 'concert-like' experience. The other thing of course is that mp3s rarely play back seemlessly/gaplessly. But, for instance, it would certainly be a benefit to go straight to favourite tracks (In my case Amy's Theme and Battle in the Skies), so thank you!
My only complaints about the concert are that the performance wobbled on more than one occassion (Yamit Mamo's opening is rather unfortunate, let's face it), and the lack of certain favourite, more subtle pieces from the series - notably the wonderful love theme for Amy+Rory.

Countertenor is an unusual choice isn't it - gives it that 'otherworldly' quality and makes it seem even more fragile. Wonderful!

Hey guys,
I know it's probably redundant, but I'll throw in my two cents:
Dance of the Daleks
VBR mp3 (approx. 160-256kbps)
http://www.mediafire.com/?ky89r5mr8a6ru1h
I have made one small alteration. I felt the ending, a nice closing monologue followed by the Radio 3 commentator rather blandly reading the credits over general audience noise, was a bit lacklustre. Therefore, I cut the commentator out, and decided to replace him with the Who theme, as anything else (including said commentator) would have been inappropriate. I thought about whose closing arrangement to use, and came to the conclusion that since the closing monologue makes particular reference to the big orchestral scores we enjoy today, and the fact that, y'know, it's part of a Murray Gold Doctor Who Prom, it should be a Gold arrangement. The 2008 version was the only closing arrangement I had, so I put that in. At first it seemed horribly tacked on, which I realised was down to the fact that the theme was more than twice the program's volume. After careful de-amplification, it now fits perfectly. Here then, is my own slight revised version of Dance of the Daleks. Enjoy!

Agreed just the whole amount of emotion in that whole scene just took us over and we also felt his pain and cried for him, wonderful acting , editing, music and all that went into it, the best scene of the whole show. When the Doctor said , " I don't want to go" and the TARDIS exploding outward with all that emotion, the TARDIS even felt his pain , WOW.
Outstanding Work.

Okay, today's been hectic, so I've only had time to split up the first half of the concert into individual tracks. It's more-or-less a run-on track, there's no dead space between tracks (on Winamp there's barely a blip between tracks, so I'm hoping on other players and on iPods it'll sound like one long event, I haven't had a chance to test it now).
It's uploading now. I'll add the link to this post when it's done.

So, to sum:
There are three soundtracks, FWICG, that have not been released as isolated scores, though we know that the music does exist as such:
Timelash
Delta and the Bannermen
The Twin Dilemma
Am I wrong?
Delta and the Bannermen is the only seventh Doctor story for which I don't possess a complete score.

A few of them have a couple of extra tracks. Mainly all i've done is amplify and improved the quality of the tracks and removed some of the ambience and background noise. I've also made sure that all the tracks stay at just about a constant volume if they are composed to rather than the volume increasing and decreasing constantley. Plus i've made album art for each of the soundtracks
