Correct.

Spot on for the complete answer.
*I find it somewhat amusing that his position was covered by "Arex" yet another alien voiced by James Doohan.

Yes, that has occured to me, too. Good catch, AZSneed! The theme originated from the score to "Mudd's Women", composed by Fred Steiner. It's not just from "Space Radio", but rather a main theme contained in many tracks in that score.

Okay, people, a couple of situations have come up, and I feel that I have to address them!
1. apparently, during one of my rants/vents, someone was offended by what I said, and for that, please allow me to say to that person, I'm most sorry that you were hurt by my words. Being a young man, and being balding is one thing, but being an old person (and I am) being balding is something totally different. I have worked out constantly, mostly over the last two years to get my body in prime condition. I'm proud of the fact that I have never smoked, drank or drugged (except for the occasional over the counter pain medication, which I will only use for the pain, once it's gone, I stop taking the meds) and I really love the body that God blessed me with, so I take good care of it. I don't wear a "Toupee" or anything like that because even the best looking ones, out in public, look like hell. I have never seen Shatner's hairpiece up close, even though I have met him several times, never got close enough for a good look. My personal feelings aside, I made a comment about the type of females that are interested in bald men, not poking fun at them, or bringing them down for their personal physical situations, I never said anything of that nature, but it was taken in the wrong vein, and for that, I am most sorry. I really have a problem with women with tattoos as well, that doesn't mean that other men find that most sexy and attractive. It shows me that the woman like that has little or no respect for her body, and my personal position in life, at this moment, as far as physical bodies are concerned, I would like to find a lady that takes care of herself.
A funny side story to this, showing that I am only human, and prone to mistakes, I saw a photo of "The Rock" Duane Johnson, and his ex-wife, while they were still married. Duane was wearing his usual tight shirt, showing off his massive frame, and muscles, and she was wearing a loose fitting outfit, which made her look overweight! I found out later that she was NOT overweight, she was also a body builder, and she had a very impressive set of muscles on her frame as well. It just goes to show you, you cannot judge a person by their appearance!
The second thing, which goes hand in hand with the first, is that we have many people on this site, that are underage! There is NO regulation against underaged people coming here and posting. With the whole "Final Fantasy" situation, you are bound to have many younger people coming here, and sharing and posting. So, it is to be expected that some of them will drift over to our neck of the internet, and want to comment, and share. The one person that I am currently referring to, has shared A LOT of really great stuff, both here and on other threads, and is MOST welcome to continue!
And if anyone has a problem with that, they are most welcome to PM me for a nice quiet discussion on the subject!
That being said, BACK TO TREK TALK! :D

Yes. I burned a CD of all of the samples I downloaded. Most of the tracks are complete. It just seemed right to include it in my collection.
I also found a site that took the music from various ST movie CDs and edit them to create suites. Anywhere from 30 minutes to close to an hour per soundtrack.
A nice way to listen, and get the effect of the movie without breaks in the music.

From first impression, a great selection (just read the track lists, will download it later). Especially your TOS album contains some of my personal favourites. Thanks a lot for including Trelane's harpsichord music (though one would have been enough! :) Anyway, I feel honored, kind Sir! )
One minor nitpick, though: on the TOS track list, you had a few composers wrongly credited, in some cases named more than one composer (there's always just one composer possible for any individual score/track!), or just wrote "various", when a certain composer can be credited. I can send you a corrected track/composer list for your album per p.m., if you want! (I have to admit, though, that even the credits on the show itself weren't always accurate, but that was partially a result of tracking episodes with music composed for older episodes, so that many episodes had several "composers". But originally, each and every track was initially composed for a specific episode (with the exception of a handful of library cues, composed in between by Alexander Courage, Joseph Mullendore, and Wilbur Hatch, for no specific episodes, but rather for possible use in future episodes). What the music editor finally did with that raw material is another story. The 15 disc collection from La-la-land contains this original, un-edited material in its entirety, including many un-used tracks!

That's one reason why Enterprise failed (straying too much), to many plot holes and inconsistencies. My Son and I laugh about it every time we watch them. That's what the new Treks are making fun of above all.
After Gene Roddenberry died and Next Gen ended, they went down hill, as far as story consistency.

I think a few people have figured out I'm teasing, but apparently some haven't. Please don't take me too seriously people. I'm here (FFShrine) to share and have fun. I really appreciate the support I've gotten here. I don't let people hurt my feelings much anymore as when I was so young. I'm into my early 50's and some young-en's might think I'm an old fart. Never thought I was any younger at heart then ever as now. I'm not going to allow people to drag me into little conflicts, that's not why I'm here. I'm here to chew bubble gum and have fun, and I'm all out of bubble gum! Yes I know! shameless.
Also, if I've offended anyone? please let me know, chances are you've taken something I've said wrong or totally not intended for You. I think the only ones I may have attacked are Trolls, and I've even been attacked myself and have had the support of you all from here and others throughout FFShrine, I really appreciate it.

If you really want me to pick on you....sorry, ain't got the time, I'm going to bash Enterprise the series.
I was against Enterprise at first, but after watching it I like it.....BUT! The way they re-invented the Star Trek history, and trying to destroy what was established
in TOS was shameful. Like showing us the Romulan Bird of Prey, when in TOS they saw it first in Balance of Terror, which I just watched last night.
TOS IS Star Trek, any that follow is adding to it.

In Voyager [Dark Frontier] It Shows The Hansons [7's Parents] Studing The Borg. Judging 7 Was A Child Then How Had They Ever Heard Of The Borg???
In TNG [Q Who] Q Introduces Us To The Borg And Is TNG Not Set Only 2-3 Years Before Voyager?? So How Does That Work????

First Question regarding 7 of 9: Accelerated growth induced by the Borg is a possibility.
Second Question regarding Phlox: Maybe the Borg technology had been damaged during either the battle with the Enterprise-E and the trip through time in 'First Contact' and/or the impact of the crash combined with a great deal of time frozen in the ice could have led to a 'less than formidable assimilation as during 'First Contact' it was shown as happening almost instantly upon injection.

Your questions regarding Enterprise's timeline and canon are the very questions that caused most fans to give up on it and so killed the show in the end. The real answer is...they don't care. The Borg is especially wrong. I just refuse to believe Starfleet "lost" the info. But it made for a cool episode and it is well known the Borg in any show raises ratings. Hence, Borg on Enterprise. And, if you ignore EVERYTHING we know about them, it made for a really nifty episode. But see, everything about Enterprise, especially visually, was designed to fit into the visual look of all Trek retroactively. Which is fine but they chose to go with the Next Gen look of things and kinda ignored the original series. This leaves the original unedited episodes of the TOS looking really dumb and out of context. But they "fixed" that when making the new cgi 1701 by designing in the hull plating and coloring to make it "fit" into all of the sequel's looks even though it was the original. Design concepts for Enterprise make no damn sense when compared to TOS. Because visually the original looks as if the tech advanced backwards....
The thing with the Klingons has been a question ever since TMP. The real answer again is for visual effect. They wanted the aliens on the big screen to look more sophisticated. Now, they could have just ignored it. But then they had the bright idea to have Sisko and crew go back to TOS and the tribble/Klingon stuff. Now, THAT of course was going to present an issue. They used a humorous misdirect. "They ARE Klingons. It is a long story and we do not talk about it". But the Trek answer was that some Klingons were genetically modified to be more human-ish in order to better understand the enemy. Which, ok that'd be a fine enough fix. Except what about Kang, Kor and Koloth, obviously the SAME characters except now the "human" Klingons have full on Next Gen era foreheads.....
And then Enterprise comes along and muddies THAT mess up even further. I personally reason it like this. You got history books that tell the accepted repeated historical events, and you have documentaries that show you the real people and events as they really went down. What we fans thought we knew of the Federation's history was really a simplified "everyday" history book version, while what Enterprise showed us was the down and dirty workings behind it all. The REAL story as it were. It's really the best way to fit it in for me without just having a seizure.

No new music, then do as I am doing, rip music from episodes, removed the dialogue and really listened to the music. Like in the Corbomite Maneuver,

I use this program to rip DVDs...DVD Audio Extractor -- Full featured DVD audio ripper for your easy use (
http://www.dvdae.com/dvdae/)
It is free for 30 days and then you have to pay for license. I don't know a free one.
For removing Dialogue, I use this free program...Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder (
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
Since Star Trek DVDs are 5.1 Surround, extract all 6 channels. I like to delete 4 mono channels, and just keep the left and right ones, then under
the tracks on the tool bar, mix render. It removes almost all of the Dialogue, but, not FX. To do that, is the reduce the quality of the music.
With Audacity's manuals, it is very easy to learn how to use it. Don't worry if it seems a daunting task, if I could figure it out, you can too.

Perhaps. But of those the only one of real interest is Voyager, as it and TAS are the only ones with no real representation, official or otherwise. Next Gen we have enough to choke a cow with, frankly. DS9 could use a second or third set, but between the 4 disc set, the 2 best of suites and Emissary, it has a fair bit of representation. TOS, well there really isn't anything left to do for that. Now while only Broken Bow was released for Enterprise, the Boots more than cover a nice amount with decent quality. A set for that would not likely contain much more music, but perhaps samplings from different episodes. That leaves Voyager and TAS as the ugly stepkids. I found the music for Voyager generally uninteresting and bland. But it should have at least 1 four disc set. TAS I would love even a single disc release but but it'll never happen. The score for that show was licensed out to and used in a plethora of other series at the time. So I suspect the rights issues are total hell. The first DS9 set was speculatively announced a while before it was actually done and available. Perhaps we should look closer to the fall and holiday seasons for these?

I get that. It's just that Voyager is the only one without a multi disk set of some sort. Not even any boots for it. So I would like it to see some attention. A relisten could change my mind. Next Gen will eventually all be released I think as long as fans buy it, but holy hell I have not slogged through even a third of the Ron Jones set, and anly scraps of the others. Way to much for a solid set of listening, so I would like some of the others to get more rounded out.

If you rip, and then run thru Audacity to work on, they recommend wav files. Then you can save as flac.
As for Voyager, I only have the first season, and hope ONE DAY to get the whole series.
The TAS rips I did last year, I found more music without FX than I expected. Some episodes you can save little, some over half. I was really hoping to
create a CD of TAS cues, then my hard drive crashed, all gone. I have started again, but, not as much time to work on it as I did last year.

I don't know about TOS CDs, but others that say that their music is stereo, is really two mono tracks, one for left and one for right channels. I do it myself

I Have to Admit For A Low Budget 70s Show The Animation Is Quite Impressive And Clear
Well, from a pure technical/artistic standpoint, the animated show was comparable to what was common in the early 70ies, as far as Saturday morning cartoons were concerned. What made these 22 episodes so special was the fact that they were written by people who had contributed to Star Trek before (D.C. Fontana, David Gerrold), or were well known SF authors (like Larry Niven). Add to that the fact that they got the original cast voices (minus Walter Koenig, who, at least, were allowed to write the script to "The Infinite Vulcan"), and you have the best you could get as a trekkie, other than a new tv show with real actors in front of the camera. Canon or not canon, I don't want to miss them, even if they sometimes seem to be, at least at first glance, to be produced for younger people. But there's more to them, if you watch them carefully. For me, they are part of trek history, as are all five tv shows and the movies (yeah, even nu-trek!).

For sure. I just can't spend all that time on a soundtrack. I can chop and blend music, but I'd have to go through all the episodes, or the ones we have music for, too much time. I have no need for film edit versions of the score. The as written original pieces are fine. When heard out of the episodes, the chopped, blended and looped score is FAR less impressive than you'd think, so no thanks. Not only will I not chop, even if it were done for me in a nifty package I would not dl.....

If I get the music on a CD or quality DL, I'm fine with it. If I want to feel the scenes with the music, I'll watch the episodes. Makes it a lot easier too. besides my cleaver is dull.

I'm sure there are fans who know what I'm talking about - the memorable episodes that were partly scored or completely tracked evoke their own memories or feelings (by definition, that's why they're memorable). For example, the music in CITY when Spock says Edith must die is from ENEMY WITHIN when the alien dog dies after being reintegrated. It fits so well that it seems written for it, and I dont think about the original source episode. The music itself is not repetitious because it's only used once in the episode.
I wasnt suggesting every episode - just what some of us consider memorable. On some level I "feel the scenes" when I play the original-ordered music, so I imagine playing the re-arranged music will be just as enjoyable.
And I wasnt asking fans to share the same goal or participate in it, so there's no need to comment critically. I only asked if someone had uploaded edited versions.

Yeah I know sadsack, my answers seem harsh or not thought out usually, but I think that would be a wonderful thing to put together. It would take more than me to do something like that. I would need some guidance, know what I mean? :) It's not that I couldn't edit it. I would need help with putting which pieces, and finding them. Or I would have to go through the episodes and slowly edit it over t a long time looking for and listening to all the tracks. I have a bad enough memory as it is.

I never said I wanted to do TOS into episodes, I just thought it would be cool if someone did. The Voyager stuff was never a definite go either. I told Kirk I'd listen to the Voyager tracks, and if they where in decent quality I'd try to see if the SFX could be removed, he would do some cover art. Possibly. No Amanda, not sure what the big deal is? I didn't here you rail anything. Just a misunderstanding I guess. Did I say something wrong? Let's move on, nothing to see here. I had thought about what sadsack said, and I always, too, wanted to edit together my favorite episodes, like Devil in the Dark. I don't think I could keep what
sanity I have intact. If we had the cue sheets that were used in TOS, it would be easier. I know Greg had talked about this some time ago.
I wished I could remove the embedded voices and FX, and have just music. I tried, with no success.
On the other hand, if you can ignore the distractions, and just enjoy the music, then it would be no trouble to release the favorite episodes ripped.

Back in the mid 70's when I was in High School, I asked a friend to record the main theme from an episode of TOS, since I could not pick up the TV station
that broadcasted the series. The episode that he recorded the teaser and main theme on cassette was, The Cloud Minders.
So, every time I watch the episode, I remember the first time I ever had a Star Trek music soundtrack, in a small way.
James (The Disney Guy)

That makes sense you find the first always reminds you or turns to be your fav.
The 1st episode i ever saw was TNG the best of both worlds and to this day is my fav episode i have 3 copies the 2 part in s3 and 4 of tng
2 part in the borg fan collective box and 1 long movue in the tng movie box containing all the 2 parts as 1 long episode.

06-14-2014, 01:46 PM
I'm railing against it?
I meant that your posts about the goal have been negative. First you said the results would be too jarring and repetitive. Then it's not worth editing (just make a playlist). Then the edited music would be FAR LESS IMPRESSIVE so you would never download it anyway.
And again, Spectre, I never said you wanted to edit the scores, so I'm not sure why you keep saying "I never said I was going to do it."
And for the last time, I never asked anyone to do it. I only asked if someone had done it. Since the TREK TOS music is completely available and listenable, editing it is not a priority for me. I'm too busy with other soundtrack editing (which I upload to the shrine when done) and my own projects.
Amanda
06-14-2014, 01:52 PM
I was having a threeway conversation on whether I would like to do it. And I was commenting on whether it had been done. And aslo partly commenting on TAS' score. I was not saying it should not be done. I offered MY reasons why I would not be interested. That's not railing or negative. Those would be if I was making fun of someone for doing it, or trying to discourage someone from doing it. I am not going to say it's a great idea, convince someone to get involved and then NOT help OR even listen, right? There is no reason for YOU not to do it. And there will be plenty who will be interested, though most will not be vocal about it.

I dont see the point in posting several times why you think its a bad goal, presenting reasons each time as if it's a fact, not personal taste. That's how they come across from my POV. Anyway, it's discouraging and unnecessary. And you keep telling me to edit the scores myself which means you havent really been paying attention.

That are very valid points you made. Some tracked episodes would make great scores in their own right, for example "Galileo Seven". I saw this episode before I was able to see the earlier episodes for which the tracked cues were originally written, so for me that episode always had an "original" score in some way. Other people may have seen "Naked Time", "Enemy Within" and "Charlie X" before, whose original tracks were used for "Galileo", and will have a different experience regarding those tracks. Anyway, there are many tracked episodes, especially the most popular episodes, which would give some terrific soundtracks.

Well, I (for one) had always thought that the TOS box set should have started with season one, ALL of the music from each episode, even if it was created for another episode and reused on this one. I wanted ALL the episodes' music, in order, for my money. All in all, that was the only really major disappointment I had with this set. It would be nice if someone would undertake this project. I was actually thinking about it, but I'm not that good about ID'ing which episode a specific piece of music was used. Either way you look at it, it would be a major undertaking.

IF we had detailed cue sheets or a clear, correct break down, it could be done. But you'd have to know which sting, which 12 seconds from any given track was looped into other series. The details of that are necessary before any cutting. And labeling in complex detail each snip and trim. Also, to get very best results it would be best to use a flac rip of the sets if anyone had that to hand. It is so much more complex than just taking pieces. It is a detail and organizational thing. I am mired in other projects, including organizing Doctor Who sets, so I could not help. Perhaps Olaf could. Or some of the other editing gurus.
It would take the community together to get the details sorted. Do that first before plunging into the chopping and editing. And, do a poll to get a general consensus on which episode would be best served to start. Otherwise it is a year long project for any one member to do right.

Altovar?? I think....He has done rips of Voyager, DS9 and Enterprise along with some TAS stuff. For the most part pretty successful. Voices are mostly gone. Some ambient bridge and electronic instrument sounds remain, as do some ship engine fx type stuff. But, not too bad. I was not interested, but I can see how others might tolerate it with some enjoyment. At least until an official release mutes it.
Discussing the complete TOS episodes, this guy did rips of those too, so that may be a place to stat. He did it before the box set was released. I believe Sorei has many of these in her collection. They were posted at Bolt, but I have not looked at their trek thread in years now.

oh yes, very discrete. (Because you are not naming someone)
As opposed to your statement: She is not nasty.
Actually besides some personal problems, I have always experienced her to be a very kind and helpful person.
Of course everybody has the right to judge some behaviour nasty, in their own judgement. For me, somebody can act nasty, but I would still refrain calling that person itself being nasty. There is a difference there.
Sometimes an attitude of a person can feel nasty to me, just because I do not share it.
Referring to Kirk, what problems do you mean? Referring to behaviour in thread only of course (as pms are private), I mean. Besides the fact that he might tend to be a tad over-sensitive, and may I say, he is not the only only one with this trait?

There is only ONE member here that I have trouble with, and most of you have gotten on her bad side as well. She's very nasty, and has many personal mental problems as well. I will not mention names.
I'm pretty sure there's more than one member here that you do have trouble with and they come from other sites you do be on to cause trouble here. They do state similar warnings about yourself that you are doing about Kirk101, so how would you feel if we were to listen to them and try casting you out the same way you want to do to him?
The person that name you won't mention is not nasty at all, she is actually one of the nicer people i know on here and i would always have time for, be they forum matters or personal matters. She tries to help everyone she can here, even though she sometimes doesn't get the same in return.
Anyway, the long and short of it is, Kirk is no longer welcome here. He's posted some nice stuff, but it's been obtained from other sites, and it would have ended up here one way or the other. The last thing we need is someone coming here to purposely causing problems.
You're not a mod or admin here so you can't decide if someone isn't welcome here. And does it really matter where he got the stuff from?
From what i've seen, he seems to get on very well with most people in this thread, so i think it's ok that he stays.
I will ask you both to stop sending each other messages of any sort, that should fix most of the problems here.
And Williamtaylor, stating that someone has personal problems of any kind in an attempt to put them down isn't going to fly here, i, and many other members of this forum have personal problems we have to deal with, it doesn't make us bad people.

You can't judge people by what they think...or say...only by what they do.

I partly agree, as I would include the "saying" into the "doing" (saying something, in comparison to thinking something, is an action that can set things in motion)
I might not act according to what I say, but still "saying" crosses an important line.

Sorei, it's quote from Kira to Ziyal in the epiosde "By Inferno's Light" concerning the moral action of Dukat against the Alpha Quadrant people !

"You can't judge people by what they think" because it's impossible for non-telepaths. And as sorei states, the act of speaking is a physical manifestation of some form of conscious will. However, whether the spoken words are true or forked is another matter. One can only attempt to guess 'true intentions'. And if someone offered me some, and let's be generous, unkind words, I'd probably be peeved too.
Disclaimer: I've not had any PMs, or have been made privy to any personal information. And what I gleaned from the recent posts I've taken with a pinch of salt.

It is AMAZING how many people who have NEVER posted here, or shared any LINKS here have come out of the woodwork to start putting me DOWN! And, I've only had ONE complaintant, JESSIE, and I would expect you to know that. Granted, she has complained a TON of times, thinking that she is the owner of this thread. I welcome everyone here, unless they start some trouble, like Kirk101 and Amanda did a few pages back. Now, they are the BEST of friends, sharing all their PMs back and forth, and editing them to suit their personal mind games.
I had been warned by SEVERAL people about Kirk101 when he first came here, stating that he had played these SAME games on other sites, "stirring the pot" and getting members at each other's throats, the SAME THING that he is doing here. AND, judging by the number of "Likes" about my comment, seems that many agree with me!

I've said this before and I'll say it again, to use a Star Trek analogy, "It's like blowing up a baloon, but from the wrong end!"
I've been pretty neutral my time spent here at this site, and always gave support or a chance to everyone, and tried to stay out of personal siding, avoid so called Trolls. Stay out of Game playing to pit one against another, I don't like it and wouldn't want it used on me. I'm to old for that Shit. If people are willing to get along I'll play. Not sure why anyone would want to push others aside or out of the way. I think people need to understand that there's all walks of life that visit this site, young and old. A little poking is one thing, but I think we're all old enough to except, understand where people are coming from, and if not, work it out and move on without a damn war. Most of us are not blind to what's happening right in front of us, where it's coming from, and by whom, and I'm speaking of all of us. So let's get over the petty crap, like we're on some Q kindergarten play field from hell and move on. Sorry if I'm being unnecessary but this is getting old now.

BTW, Happy Fathers day!

Who are these people that are putting you down, that have never posted or shared here in the past? If you mean me and my post i'd like you to point out where i was actually putting you down instead of just disagreeing with what you had said, and doing what an admin is supposed to do, which is getting problems between members sorted. If not my post then please report the others.[/QUOTE]

I wasn't just talking about this thread and recently, i was talking about the past occurrences that i remember having to deal with. I mean, that's what i'm here for and all, to deal with these problems but i'm just trying to make a point that there are more than just one.
I welcome everyone here, unless they start some trouble, like Kirk101 and Amanda did a few pages back. Now, they are the BEST of friends, sharing all their PMs back and forth, and editing them to suit their personal mind games.
If people start trouble then you report the posts, myself or Sanico will read the reported posts when we can and decide if any action needs to be taken. I know you created this thread but it's not up to police it and deal with everything that happens in it, that's what we're here for.

If you were warned about him by so many people then why would you then converse with him in pm about other members or even at all? Especially after all these other people from other sites coming here to put you down.

I have NEVER said anything one way or the other about AMANDA! I did say "A member of this board is nasty", and I have NEVER used the words "Whore" "Bitch" or "Fat Cow" in referring to ANYONE! Amanda (according to Jessie) has also been told to STOP her constant flaming of me, she cannot call me "Wee Willie" or "Mr. Baldy", because "Wee" means "Little" and I think that everyone knows what a "Willie" is! I have never made fun of anyone's physical disabilities or any aspect of their physical bodies, EVER! I just didn't like Kirk101 saying that he was leaving the thread, getting many posts begging for him to stay, then saying that his links were deleted (Many times) and therefore having control over who got a copy of his stuff or not. This situation, and the constant back and forth between Kirk101 and Amanda, and all the PMs to me privately just got to be too much.
So, hopefully everyone can still share what they have, request what they want, and just be nice to each other.
Also, I have NEVER said that I was the GOD of this thread, and could order people around. I just didn't like all the BS going on. When things go off topic, I try to steer them back to the thread topic, not running off to complain to the MODs, although, I have been told by Jessie that I should do that, and not take any action myself! :(
Also, a point of correction. When GWENT was on this site, he stated that I had been "Banned from many other sites" which is NOT a fact. I had gone over to "Bolt.cd" (or whatever the current incarnation is) and got a nasty note from one of the MODs almost at once, stating that I was not posting properly! Apparently when you try to post any links, you have to put them in a specific order, and I was not doing that. This MOD used the name of "Hammer" something like that, and the site was located in SYRIA!!! I replied to mr. Hammer and told him that I would NOT be posting any more links and not sharing any more files, since his procedure on that site was totally different, and complicated than most sites, and it was too much trouble for me to even consider. Then I got BANNED! Apparently on that site, you cannot say anything about the MODs, or the site, or you will be banned without warning! So, I think that is what GWENT was talking about!
Just the fact that I have provided members of THIS site with many NEVER BEFORE SEEN items, and tracks of music and audio tracks that NOBODY has had before, and I expected a little respect, but I guess that was too much to ask.
In hindsight, I think that this was all a mistake.
