How were you able to find out that the BGM LP release contains more BGM that's not present in the complete CD collection?

Also if anybody's interested, there's a 7500 yen copy of it on Yahoo Auctions if someone wants to buy it and make a good rip out of it.

Simple, a japanese buyer put a comment on amazon.jp page and make the comparison with old vinyl saying it miss two tracks. Obviously the other stuff on cd collection is for the first time available
I found a japanese blog with some interviews of this release and due lot of materials available (more than 3-cd) they omitted most unused tracks and Remi instrument practice tracks (maybe the two tracks of the vinyl are part of those type of BGM). Who knows if they release a volume 2 anyway how is the mastering, is really a shit as that picture?

I found an unofficial CD of "R�mi" on ebay a few years ago, and I am pretty sure it's a rip of the vinyl that was released in Japan.

You can watch REMI in 3D! The title in Japanese is “Rittai Anime Ie Naki Ko Remi”. Or “Remi the homeless child in 3D animation”. All the movements of the different layers (the front moves slower than the background) were made that way in order to get the PULFRICH EFFECT. Try this : watch the series with an eye (the left one) through a dark lense (like dark sunglasses). Of course you keep both eyes open, but it takes a fraction of a second for the brain to decode an image in a darker environment, so the left eye sees each frame a fraction of a second later than the right eye. Therefore, the movements of the layers in the show seem to distance eachother, it’s another way to get a 3D effect, it’s really something, I started to watch the series again with a pair of sunglasses I bought at the store, and I removed the lense from the right eye.

After a long long decades... Here finaly Ie Nakiko R�mi (Ou Remi sans Famille) in perfect quality and for the first time on CD since 1980 !

In 3 CD, everybody can listen the excellent composition by Takeo Watanabe, the famous composer of Heidi, Candy Candy or Sandybell ! This album is a compilation of differents LP released in the late 70's and never publish on CD. Is a huge ocassion to discover (or rediscover) one of the wonderfull soundtrack for the most poignant anime of all time.

And for this ocassion and for this released i want to thanks people who helped me for purpose this album for everyone !

You are welcome :) Have you all heard of "The Dog of Flanders" ?? It's an anime from early 70s, also done by TAkeo Watanabe. I bought it a few years ago, it's a double CD. I have never watched the anime but the music is very similar to Heidi and Remi and Candy. I could share if you want. Unless someone already shared it on the forum?

About the Remi's music in your video, I dont know of what series it could be... I saw your videos a long time I go, but now youtube blocked those videos, at least in my country U___U ...I hope that bgm could finally recognized from one anime serie, maybe its from another Takeo Watanabe's anime music.

Today i listened the 1973 Takeo Watanabe's Cutey Honey ost, just for take a look, but there aren't any bgm used in Remy or Candy.
I dont know about あらいぐまラスカル Rascal the Raccoon, Araiguma Rasukaru ost, from 1977, probably contains music of Remy

Maybe im wrong, but this "strange sound" appears in the track 11 ("11 - Bokujou he.flac") of CD1 at the minute 1:13 o_O
In other soundtracks i heard tossing sounds, laughs, and instruments noises, but nothing like that...
Please someone can tell me if i heard wrong or is a mistake of some kind of noise or im just imagine things :P

All I've heard in orchestral soundtracks were instrument noises since that's pretty common. Never have I heard tossing noises or even laughs...which soundtracks have these?

I don't remember at the time, which soundtracks do have those sounds, MartyMcflies, ill try to remember or try to listened a lot of bgms until found the tossing one and the laugh, what is like a quite smile heard in the background. I agree too, instrument sounds are very common and in the fade of the tracks sometimes appear strange things too.

I heard that Yuji Ohno re-used music from Lupin III for "The Marine Express", so if that is true then chances are he probably did the same thing with this film. That's just my guess though

I dunno. I first met Go Nagai's body of work thru Mazinger Z, then Grand Mazinger and UFO Robot Grendizer, then Steel Jeeg. It wasn't until the advent of the internet that I had the chance to read and watch his other works which were unknown to me. And I don't know, maybe because I grew up with basically the mecha side of them, but I've never found much love in me for the rest. Maybe because every time I came across anime based on his other works it didn't click with me and was mostly random 90's over the top violence... I dunno. Should take a second look into it.

When I saw the advertising for Devilman Crybaby I knew down in my guts it wasn't goint to be good.

Sorry to contradict you but I actually think Devilman Crybaby is a little masterpiece. And I love the original too. Masaaki yuasa (Mindgame, Ping Pong) is one of the best anime directors of our time. But I guess here is the wrong place to debate this.

I am looking for the soundtrack of a 1978 anime called One-Million year Trip: Bandar Book // 100万年地球の旅 バンダーブック (by Osamu Tezuka, creator of Astroboy).
The composer was Yuji Ohno. I don't know if a soundtrack has ever been released... but the music is really great.

I just got that a few weeks ago, it's very good! I'll try to post it soon ;)

with the overdose of lack of new compositions of Sagisu nowadays, I am only interested in that just for Yukihide.
Sagisu was only good in the 80ts it seems, and even though.... his transformers soundtrack of G1 was freaking plain boring......

His work on Transformers did sound cool at first but it did get kind of tedious after a while.

It's a shame, too...I feel like it had a lot of potential to be great.

I think the movie was advertised in an erroneous way. It is not an action movie itself but an allegation against the war. Only for the visuals and the music it's worth watching ;)

I have the other two Patalliro TV show LP OSTs. I'm going to share them sometime in the future but I need to know if this album contains several BGM tracks that may not be present in the other two OSTs

It's hard for me to understand from the Japanese name it's about a man's lover or about a girl-lover.
I think this option is the most correct since it clearly does not indicate the sex differences of the person whom you love.

There is also a live CD of Yuka Ohnishi including that song, that we at #lamonae have bought long time ago. I think it was posted on another blog at some point so we did not bother to publish it ourselves.

I recently got bought this CD and probably the most interesting thing about this is that it was supervised by Katsumi Ito who's done the sound effects for series such as Getter Robo (1974), Cutey Honey (1973), Iczer 1, Genmu Senki Leda, Plawres Sanshiro, Dancouga, Kimagure Orange Road, Cream Lemon, Showa!Kamen Rider and the Ultra Series and many more

I saw today a batch torrent of the Pink Noise anime series recently posted on nyaa.si, and saw that there was a rip of the Call Me Tonight LP on the batch. Pink Noise was a 4 episode ecchi anime series, with a stand-alone story on each, except that Maryuu Senki got 2 follow-up episodes, and Hikaruon being not ecchi at all. There were soundtracks for those anime, 3 LP were released as 45 RPM discs so with very limited duration compared to a regular 33 RPM disc.

From a search on the forum I got the idea this was originally ripped by Orie in 2010 (?) but I don't know the history in detail. This is most likely the source of the youtube rip posted in 2016. I renamed and retagged a bit the tracks to use proper romaji, and added a scan of stickers that were also offered with the release.

I also found a rip of the Hikaruon LP posted on Nautiljon. According to the tags the source is a brazilian tokusatsu forum (Hikaruon being an anime version of tokusatsu it makes sense). The real source may be Orie too (he is from brazil apparently?). Unlike Call Me Tonight the soundtrack is pretty much complete with many BGM and even an eyecatch lol. The last track is actually from Pink Noise Vol.4 aka Body Jack. I add front and back covers for this LP, but with the infamous 'disclegend' scanmark.

Anyway since I did not find a valid link for both on the forum, or they are well buried in the mega-threads, I upload them now.

The Hikaruon LP includes the ending song of Pink Noise Vol.4: Body Jack, and I don't think there is a separate LP release for that episode.

Be aware that the Hikaruon soundtrack was reprinted on CD, as part of this huge Watanabe Michiaki box:

That is when I knew teh guy, he offered to help to rip my wicked city lp, and you can guess what else he did on ebay.
Anyway, that call me tonight rip, is most likely youtube source. Those are not my files. I always mark my files in their proprieties and programing the files itself with my own copyrighting. Not the sound nor nothing belongs to me/Simon B. only the scans, and its missing scans. I think VGMDB has all my scans. So go there if you want.

The drama behind the Dragon Ball community is although infinitely much worse than that in that almost every user involved was trying to con each other, like a bunch of crooks. I thought the point of a community was to contribute, be social and friendly but that fanbase is anything but.

I was, back in 2002 a faithful daizex website follower (now its kazenshu and it sucks dick), and the forums....at first were nice but gradually poison spread of asshole mitigated people all knowing about all dragon ball and claiming like their theories for the all world of dragon ball were the right ones. I questioned most of those theories as they made no sense, or they did not saw the same dragon ball stuff as me, and they trashed me like you can't imagine and even blocked me.
some years ago I sent an e-mail to point out that they music database was wrong and digital dragon ball was not kenji yamamoto as they pointed there, and it was osamu shoji, and even gave teh interesting info about cell theme in that album being from one of the super butouden games, in which Kenji Yamamoto had the shame to point he was the composer, because that cell theme is Total Recall main theme.
did I get a reply? no... totally ignored.
and for info, kenji yamamoto even plagiarized composers from his own country to make music for dragon ball games. Even Kenji Kawai's Red Spectacles music was "stolen"

Just dont say anything about Dragon Ball Super or any other animated thing, because dragon ball should be dead by now. Toei keeps paying large sums to Akira Toriyama to even come to public "dont worry this is part of the cannon", because toei can't survive otherwise. Yes I refuse to watch dragon ball super. Dragon ball had its time, it was good. I have been trying so much not to start hating dragon ball because it was my childhood and there is power in that. I take Zen moment and be thankful I watched it, even though Dragon Ball Z was disappointing me (talking about me, dont go trash on my opinion on how i felt) when i listen the music, because dammit, the music was awesome. correction... Jesus I am fan hardcore of Tsutomu Nihei's BLAME! manga, and with the movie released last year, my balls exploded of excitement. Finally a proper animated thing for BLAME! because in that past everything failed, so I lost hopes on it. The movie is just perfect in mood, storytelling, everything. And here comes fanbases trashing it because, one of my most hated issues "it doe snot follow the manga". Seriously? for 3 years I have been hearing and reading those same exact issues about ... everything that is actually good, good enough to bring new people interested in these new stories and want to know more about it. But no. fanbases trash it. Because, for me, fanbases are like a nation, a country, lead by dictatorship in which you can't go against it.
