It doesn't exist. Most series produced by Dic never had their music released. The few I can think of that did are:

Mysterious cities of gold
Ulysse 31
Inspector Gadget

and that's it, I think.

As you can see, even popular series like MASK, GI joe, Jayce & the wheeled warriors even got a release.

it makes sense doc. "Once Upon a time... " cartoons were french and japanese collaboration, animated in a japanese studio, Eiken. So yeah, it was japanese in either ways. I always felt the 2 recurrent villains were japanese "typical" design. Years later I found out about this.

I honestly didn't know those were aired in japan. I knew one has a soundtrack by a japanese composer (Once upon a time...man), but this one had its soundtrack composed by Michel Legrand, who's a pretty famous french film score composer. also, if anyone wants to know, the ships were designed by an artist called Manchu, who's a major french SF illustrator, as he's designed the cover arts of hundreds of SF novels published here. I've always thought the ships were also heavily influenced by the art of British Illustrator Chris Foss.

The show aired two years after this in aired in 1984. Unfortunately, it was never popular enough since it was broadcast on an early timeslot...that's probably why it was never released on VHS/LD over in Japan.

To tell you the truth, I don't care much if I don't watch it...but I really wish the soundtrack LP wasn't so hard to find. Its ED theme song is really beautiful ;_;

This might have the OP and ED to Galaxy Patrol PJ but I can't say for sure. There's also a vinyl album by 松野達也 titled "HEART BOX" that has both the OP and ED to the show but it appears to be one of those albums that are extremely hard to find...

The first tracks is the opening of this anime but the another track i don't know if it is a Ending or just insert song. I just know the opening is singing by Mitsuko Horie.

Wow, this BGM was just what I was looking for: a nice blend of synthesizer and symphony with a classic 80s pop feel.
The string sections in tracks 3 & 10 are so charmingly over-the-top. I love it!
Both track 2 and the obligatory instrumental OP. arrangement in track 17 make good use of the lead synthesizers without losing the peaceful mood.

Does anyone have "The Music Encyclopedia of Leiji Matsumoto" GES-31170~79? I'm looking specifically for the Danguard Ace music on Disk 9 (tracks 1-14). If time is an issue I am looking specifically for track 12 (the instrumental of the ending theme. I've been searching for that for years. Appreciate any help!

Okay I've found out this track that everyone is after may not be the complete song everyone thought it was. Can anyone identify the song that plays in Danguard Ace Episode 2 when Captain Dan takes Takuma up in their jets and into the canyon to fight the robot? The scene (and song) seem to go for about 3 minutes. It almost seems as if the main theme plays 3 times but the second and third time it seems to have picked up some tempo. Is it a mix of more than one song or something?

I think MEGA let's you, but i could be wrong (i have a free account, which has i think a 2gb size limit per file), that said though it may be safer to just split archives and post them on sites like zippyshare, solidfiles or just go with your gut and pick a site you like, rather than worrying about single file uploading.

『海のトリトン』(1972年)は原作・手塚治虫、監督：富野由悠季（機動戦士ガンダム）、プロデューサー は西崎義展（宇宙戦艦ヤマト）という豪華布陣で制作されたTVアニメ。当時としては珍しく番組のためのファ ンクラブ“トリトン・ファンクラブ”が結成されるなど大人から子供まで多くを魅了した。音楽はジャズ・ピア ニスト鈴木宏昌で江藤勲や石川晶、日野元彦が参加、ジャズ・ロックをベースとした本格的なサウンドで、希望 溢れる主題と共にBGMも海外でも評価が高く、劇伴ファンの間では劇伴はトリトンからはじまったとまでいわ れるほど。近年ではMUROがMIX CDに収録したことでも注目された。

Why is Columbia and a whole bunch of other companies releasing these kinds of soundtracks on CD just now? I'm glad we're getting them but couldn't they have done this long ago?

Because since the end of 90's/beginning of 2000's, Nippon Columbia (now Columbia Music Entertainment), started a huge and fastidious complete archival and remastering program. That's still active now, more than 15 years after (that's a very very long process).
During this period, Nippon Columbia recovered a lot of complete soundtracks and 'never released in CD' old LPs masters that they decided to release on CD in different collections ('Columbia Sound Archive Series', 'Eternal Files', 'Animex 1200', 'Columbia Sound Treasure Series', etc.). This new Umi no Triton OST is part of this process.

Because Ienaki ko Remi soundtrack is owned by King Record, not Nippon Columbia.
Unfortunately King Record has a lot of 'never released in CD' old anime soundtracks LPs that will never be... :(

Maybe Columbia can consider collecting the Jam Trip/Digital Trip albums that haven't been released on CD yet and start remastering them...

there is also that issue, that back then in 70s and 80ts, the vinyl had a limit of time recording, not like today cds. the limit was..20 minutes more or less in each side. So there was always that risk of "we release a soundtrack numbered with 1, will we sale enough to release a number 2". And this also spread or cd releases too, specially when japan went to a down economy in the early 90'ts (or was it middle?), because there was money to make an anime possible, but very little for a soundtrack release, so or you had a soundtrack with a leftover of budget, or there was no soundtrack at all.
You can argue that it can sound stupid because they take risk of releasing image albums, jam trips digital rips, though the last ones were not really a risk for Columbia since they were already pretty well secured and established economically. Though the case of Image albums would be very few copies since those wee aiming for a specific "buyers", thus almost all times image albums can be stupid rare. Soundtracks are more into a wide spread of population aim, and if the response and selling doe snot go as they want, then they don't release a second soundtrack with unreleased music. Don't forget, Columbia has aimed in these little projects (animex, treasure sounds) mainly because of us, Foreigners who seek and wish for releases like these to come true. Back then, it was music made in Japan FOR Japan. There is also that attentive "Eye" for underground soundtracks, like... "Igano Kabamaru" (from another dead label "For Life Records", and it last very little time..), in case there are people enough willing to want a cd release of this thing. The fact Foreigners bid like hell and crazy so much shit in japanese auctions, is indeed pushing their attention. Most of the japanese bidders that buy stuff for foreigners, are indeed workers from certain music labels, and in a way, we are showing that we care about a certain franchise like Umi Triton or Candy Candy, or Cats Eyes. Depending on the amount of people aiming the same thing, one way or the other, they will be aware of it. So, we do need to thank the evolution of internet and shipping and Paypal (thank god you exist paypal, I could have eternal sex with you for each vinyl and cd treasure of mine xD).
So, this is all I have to say. I wish more people would bent on getting the same items I have been looking for ages, so that somehow... I don't know.. Complete Shuten Doji Soundtrack? Sukeban Deka Ova Soundtrack? Propper UN-re-arranged Birdy The mighty Ova soundtrack? Propper Complete Dragon Ball Z soundtrack since that 2006 was .... offensive to me.... even having unreleased suites, 3 suites of the broly movies were made into suites... knowing the broly movies were the only ones having a complete soundtrack release, back in the 90ts. Go figure logic.....

A side note... I always loved this soundtrack, and it was one of my very first full anime download soundtrack back in year 2000. One of my favorite works of Yoko, and heard it countless times.

Seems like the files are really protected with DRM. in which I can't really work it out and I have been failing to work with it.
Files are protected to be used on windows media player from 9 to 11 ONLY, and I can't re-encode to anything else. used foobar and dbpoweramp already with their wma pluggins and keeps giving the error. A friend advise me to use a freeware "fairuse4wm", but I can't work with it at all. And supposedly it can nullify the drm protection. This is all I can share about it. Hope you might have better luck then me. :/
My question is, why ripp something in such a strict way, that only few, very few peopel MIGHT be able to listen?
