So, here I come with more Yu Yu stuff. :) Figured I might has well upload everything I have, at least to help on Tina with some issues.
Yu Yu Hakusho have some good cds. Too bad there was not proper release for the TV soundtrack. My favorite CD continues to be OST2 with some great tunes and compositions: "Yusuke POWER UP!" and "Yurusenee!", to name a few.
The memorial box as nothing that new. Only 2 tracks from the soundtrack which were never released: "Kiki Ipatsu" and "RUN&FIGHT". Though the last is the one track which is more interesting.
MUSIC BATTLE Hen, I prefer it much more over the other 2. Much more fun to listen. :p

I thought that on a site that shares Japanese material had to search for the original material. the French music no matter how interesting they are not the original music of the anime series but true objections or alternate versions of the original songs. I do not want to offend anyone, it was just my thoughts like "the beautiful French music but are not original Japanese"

Well, alright, Vicky the Viking is actually based on a children's book by a Swede named Runer Jonsson. But the anime series was one of the earlier TV co-productions, created in 1974 by Zuiyo Eizo (yep, the World Masterpiece Theatre crew!) with money and production assistance courtesy of German broadcaster ZDF. It debuted at about the same time in Germany and Japan, and while the same Hiroshi Sait�'s directing style is evident, the characters definitely have a flatter, cartoonier look than most of Zuiyo Eizo's output of the day. It was rewritten with great care for the German-speaking market by a fellow named Eberhard Storeck, and its title song is still well known among German fans today.

Does this mean that the music heard on the T�l� 80 CD was not used in the Japanese version of the show? If so, that soundtrack is not really related to anime the way I see it (even if the Vicky the Viking series can debatably be called anime).

Don't get me wrong; I appreciate these rare uploads. :) But Clementine also seems to me to be more French than Japanese, and He-Man is not Japanese whatsoever. How about creating a separate thread for this French CD series?

Vikie for the Viking and Clementine, I posted like Masters Of Universe for EUROPEAN fans! who knew the music. Einashi has told his TREAD in the spirit speaks of Japanese anime oldies but it also means that in those who have affected us as kids ...
We will not either create a Tread for french cd, because there will not be any 100 ^ ^

Anyway, as I was planning to Bomber X (in its version internationnal therefore Shuki Levy and Haim Saban) but I'm not so sure you want to bother me ^ ^

Yotadelatisane, please don't get me wrong. I love Shuki Levy and Haim Saban, and as such, Bomber X is welcome both here and in other threads as far as I'm concerned. What I meant to point out is that, technically, most of the soundtracks in question are not anime. And you wouldn't expect a series like He-Man to be sorted under anime, which might make it difficult to find for people. That's why I suggested a separate thread - to me, that feels more logical. But it was only a suggestion, not intended to stop you from uploading this rare stuff. (Many of the 2012 CDs are out of print already, so these uploads are appreciated.)

For that matter, you don't really need 100 CDs to start a separate thread. ;) 4 or 5 CDs are more than enough for that... and who knows, there might be more as time passes. But please carry on with the uploads regardless of where.

By "quality of product", do you mean the production values of the CDs? If so, I can certainly agree with you. The first 12 T�l� 80 CDs had very low production values (the first 8 could even include unremastered music ripped straight from vinyls), so they left a lot to be desired in terms of presentation... (Although I thought maybe there was a chance you had Nono, since that's Levy and Saban, and the Dallas CD also includes a few tracks by them. Also, Maya L'Abeille has mostly instrumental music as far as I know, composed by Karel Svoboda who did Wickie Le Viking.)

Of course, if you're talking about personal taste, then that's something else entirely. ;)

So here I come again, with another rip of mine from something that did not had an official musical release. 14 tracks ripped from the LD, with sfx and voices. As stupid as it may sound... the DVD version had a bad sound, and.... not so clean...
So I took the LD case for it. Hell, even the VHS sounds better then the DVD. Anyway. The ending theme, as it seems, never had a single or was released in some album, somewhere.
I had an idea for this project, but it was all blown because of the fact that song was not officially released. The other idea was making a coupling soundtrack. Ninja Gaiden + Suikoden OVA unreleased soundtrack... but I scratch that ... again. So I am thinking of adding pretty bonus stuff related to Ninja Gaiden. The old Games, not the new 3D ones. I just have not yet decided on what to add.

Meanwhile I still need to finish the mastering of my rip of Liberation Maiden (3DS) game. I might release the full thing after it.

Why is that? Am I missing a font to properly read this?

The folder itself displays ok

that happens sometimes with me, but I just rename everything like I want...
That happens if I am not wrong, when zipping from certain kind of Asian Unicode fonts. The folder is called "ジャケット " (Jacket), and when zipping the files inside, if they are supposed japanese characters, that happens. Mostly because there is a false Asian Unicode font. So the software doe snot really know how to deal with it.

Anime News Network must have a new generated of stupid people for sure.
That was never an OVA, that was TV series.
I Keep on finding stupid shit like that. Anime News Network used to be a Faithful source for all of us, yet every time I go there to check something I find either typo errors or really bad mistakes like that one, claiming this as an Ova.

There's no broadcaster listed on ANN. It's an OVA :'D

So... wouldn't it be great if Yasuo Higuchi wrote a score that was along the same lines as Phoenix 2772? What's that? He did? Where? Right here, folks!

Leave it to the king of this thread, Herr Salat, to find what nobody else could (if they even knew it existed) - an absolutely spotless, mint-condition vinyl edition of this forgotten Higuchi masterpiece. I must offer my customary thanks for his efforts and financial commitment to these ongoing projects; engaging the services of Japanese middleman services, paying for the item to be shipped three times (from the auctioneer to the middleman, from the middleman to Herr Salat in Germany, and then to me in England) - it can't be easy and this gentlemen deserves all the praise in the world for this post.

Never released on any medium but LP, Bremen Four is a fantastic companion piece to Phoenix 2772 - action and romance abound, with Higuchi's flawless sense of melody, imaginative orchestrations, and totally unique and exciting harmonic language all present. The cue "Superlovers" is Higichi's arrangement and abridgement of Richard Wagner's "The Mastersingers Of Nuremberg" prelude. As a bonus track, I have included at the end of the album, the full Prelude as performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Klaus Tennstedt.

I made my own rip of it some years ago but the quality was very bad. I'm sure yours will be better so I will wait for them, both for Ninja Gaiden and Zorro.

This is a re-upload of tracks originally posted by sisko5456 and einachi, if I am not mistaken. This is an awesome selection from Aya & Kei Wakakusa!

Aya Wakakusa is somewhat of a mystery to me. I cannot find much information on her career as a composer except for this soundtrack. I know that Kei Wakakusa is sometimes credited as "Megumi Wakakusa" for unknown reasons. If anyone has information to share about Aya Wakakusa, I would appreciate it greatly.

So cool. These oldies are very interesting. However, to the person who uploaded the Tenchi albums, I noticed that some of the files I got like the 「天地無用!」魎皇鬼~天地開闢時空道行~ don't have any cues attached. Care to explain?

Does anyone know where the 2nd Opening and Ending songs from Orguss 02 can be found? The songs are 宇宙で見た夢 (The Dream I Had in the Cosmos) and 旅人 (Tabibito). Both are sung by 浩恵上田 (Ueda Hiroe). These songs were not included on the Orguss 02 Original Soundtrack CD, so I'm assuming that they were released as one of Ueda Hiroe's CD singles...

I don't remember if I have ever shared my new organized Custom Soundtracks of this. But At the moment I can only shared the old files I still have. These were the very first ones from 2006. When I have time to get my proper pack, with proper tagging and info of the tracks and all kinds of complete stuff on it; I will share that. ;)

Unfortunately, this soundtrack is not complete at all. I have both VHS and DVD of this movie, and I know it from back to forward and there are tracks that were left out. At first I thought, maybe because some tracks were just repeated. But no. Ken VS Bison (the fight scene on Bison's airplane) was not included, but that track is really different, a new one. I know there are at least 3 or 4 tracks that were not ripped. I know I was just sad about that track of Ken VS Bison not being included.
Anyway, Here I am sharing the old pack but... I Decided to make 2 covers for this thing. Hope you guys like it. :)

I have a question for anyone.

Some of my track titles look like this

Why is that? Am I missing a font to properly read this?

The folder itself displays ok

This is result of wrong encoding, if for example the *.cue or *.txt it's encoded as Shift-JIS (or Chinese GBK) and you are reading it in ANSI, you'll get this display mess.

The issue is very easy to fix.

1. Get Notepad2 (http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html) and install it.
2. Open the cue or txt with notepad2 and check the coding format, in general you'll see as ANSI.


3. Press F8, select either Shift-JIS


Or GBK until you see the correct characters.


4. Once you've done, press F9 and select UTF-8 Signature, this will add a signature so any reader will identify the correct format.


That's it.

I have to agree with katananja that 7-zip / ZIP format is better as it is a 100% free (not as in "free beer") program.
+As I have pointed before, you do not have to actually *compress* the files, just choose the lowest compression setting, because the files (MP3, FLAC, etc.) are already compressed. This saves time to both you and people who download.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to upload, Yotadelatisane (guess what, I didn't notice the meaning of your nickname until typing it just right now :D) and for providing scans, too.
