I'm no expert, but if something is "cheap" and they tell me it's "not too bad", that's like two big red lights. Sure, maybe it's not too bad, maybe you can still get the sound you need, but if everything hinges on "maybe" I would wait a better chance. IMHO.

The thing with Japanese sellers though is that if a record they're selling is in bad condition they'll actually tell you straight up and put it up for sale for a low price. At least, that's from my experience.
(The Wonder Beat OST is the only exception to this)

Also, the album in particular isn't too expensive or anything. It usually goes for 1250-2500 yen (shame the seller is putting it for a higher price), but the fact that this copy is being sold for 5,000 yen probably shows that it could be in good condition.

Or maybe it's just expensive because it's a promo copy.

Just posting to remind you that... Err... You already had such request fulfilled? (Thread 214697) Maybe I gave you a V0 encode, but it's still better than a constant bitrate-320 kbps one. The latter takes away too much space while being virtually equal in quality to a V0 encode, most human ears don't tell the difference and if folks claim they do, in 90% of cases they're lying themselves.

I haven't been able to download it via torrent and the copy I have is 128kbps - so I'm assuming it isn't the copy which you gave me. I lost some soundtracks and I realize I haven't been able to find some of them due to changing hard drives. Maybe I'm just being paranoid over this, but I can't tell if I have to get a new turntable needle or not...

I just finished recording Kohei Tanaka's "PARTNER" LP image album and track 5 sounds kinda distorted. There was no fuzz on the needle when I finished recording so I know it's not that, and if it's worth mentioning, it's also the only song on the album that sounds distorted

The track starts off with a piano and right away you can tell something's wrong. The first track of the album however also starts off with a piano and sounds absolutely perfect, so I'm unsure if it's the record or not. I can provide a sound clip if needed

Do you mean unrealsed soundtracks or BGMs?

Some BGM used in Candy and Remi are coming from previous animes Mahō no Mako-chan (1970) and Majokko Megu-chan (1974) which was composed by Takeo Watanabe.
I suppose that the BGM you are talking about are coming from this CD of Majokko Megu-chan OST : http://vgmdb.net/album/44690 .

Hmmm, I downloaded out of curiosity, it's mp3 at 320 kbps (which is fine, I'm not a lossless only person), but the cutout at 16khz is very worrying. Looks more like a transcode than a rip from the CD, unless the CD was recorded that way. Still, it's a good sample while our fine friends grace us with a share. And thanks, not trying to diminish the contribution.

After a long long decades... Here finaly Ie Nakiko R�mi (Ou Remi sans Famille) in perfect quality and for the first time on CD since 1980 !

In 3 CD, everybody can listen the excellent composition by Takeo Watanabe, the famous composer of Heidi, Candy Candy or Sandybell ! This album is a compilation of differents LP released in the late 70's and never publish on CD. Is a huge ocassion to discover (or rediscover) one of the wonderfull soundtrack for the most poignant anime of all time.

And for this ocassion and for this released i want to thanks people who helped me for purpose this album for everyone !

Yes I have a rip of an "unofficial" release on CD (i believe it is the vinyl release, we hear some "popcorn" here and there in the music), pm me! I won't be able to upload them before later today though...

Does someone have the Remi BGM vinyl rip? Some tracks like Remi instrument practice haven't been included due lots of material available (over 120 tracks more ones available on this 3-CD set).

How were you able to find out that the BGM LP release contains more BGM that's not present in the complete CD collection?

Also if anybody's interested, there's a 7500 yen copy of it on Yahoo Auctions if someone wants to buy it and make a good rip out of it.
