Well, I am rather lazy :). But I do hear the difference between, say, a 128 and a 320 kbps file. I guess if I had two identical tracks ripped in both Flac and 320 I could hear the difference. But my main concern is size. Downloading huge archives from the unioversity computer lab is a little difficult (la bande passante est pas toujours terrible), and it's my (nearly) only way to go on the web as my damned little town still doesn't have the bloody ADSL...:(

Si e no, nel senso che sono rip presi da vinile, invece quelli che ho evidenziato nel post sono rimasterizzazioni in digitale su CD; 3 su 4 sono per la prima volta su CD.

There are 2 versions of voltes V ost but the content is identical... The first come from LP (33 rpm) analogue rip. The second come from the remastered digital (compact disc) rip. I think the einachi's link is the LP version as the King Arthur link contained in the same blog.

So I'm waiting for a digital VoltesV rip from ANIMEX 1200 CD series.

I don't know if I've commented here before, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful monster of a thread! Seeing all of these classic OST in one place brings tears to my eyes. I'm eternally grateful to all of you - I mean, it's not like you're doing it for me or anything, but the fact that something like this exists gives me the warm fuzzies.

@Einachi and Rest of your Team: How old must be at least the anime, so that will be added to your blog page?

@sonata: when an old series had a theme song not manufactured by Columbia (example King, Victor, Sony etc...) the same COLUMBIA produced some 45rpm single or 33rpm album with the same theme songs sung by COLUMBIA artists (Oosugi, Horie, Yamano etc...). So there are some Columbia rare LP or CD that propose these cover versions.
Same think for KING RECORD... there are some rare disc that contains very uncommon covers... For example there are a Nils no Fushigi na Tabi sung by Isao Taira! (KING RECORD artist). I appreciate his voice very much ^_^

I'm searching for the LP contains 10 songs (9 by 堀江美都子, 1 by 武内宏 -> the only 1 not in CD that i miss). If U have it tell me pls!

@ganbaregenki :) I've already say him that the above 45rpm EP contains 2 rare songs that are hard to get without buy the disc. That EP contains 2 image songs and not theme song or insertion song or BGM. Anyway if someone have it tell me!

For horie songs i want more time to up his ayumi no uta CDs (21), but i'll do that. Anyway, uncommon covers are contained in many "kodomo no uta" CDs (CD for kids). In these CD we can listen Kumiko Oosugi, Ushio Hashimoto, Isao Taira, Kou Ikeda.. sung many covers.

The Problem is that Most of Kodomo no Uta CDs are Out of Print...For Mitsuko Horie-Ayumi no Uta CDs....Also Not Easy to Find...I Think I have Already The First CD and the Second....But I was and Still Desperately Try to Collect Those Precious CD (Atleast to Me)... Now Mitsuko-San has Released a total of 7 Ayumi no Uta CD Plus the 8th New CD that would be Released Next Month...

I don't know if there is an OST for the babil 2-sei 2001 TV series. Surely there are some single with opening and ending themes... We miss all about 2001 series?

but if there is electro music, i won't really enjoy.

I think The Album "Antarctic journal" a South Korean Album is not Related to Anime!!...
