Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and the Damned.

Thought I'd take a break from the RPG's I've been playing and get back to something fun.

FF8 (PSN) it works okay, but I can't use any of my 'Blue Magic', and even some of the other limit breaks are messed up.

It could be because I'm playing it on the PSP.

Final Fantasy IX, I switched a memory card that glitched my save last game to the other one that's built in (hit a button and the button changes color/switch memory cards), and it works! Left for work when I was about to leave the Evil Forrest........shall slaughter the Plant Brain when I get home!

Finished Sands of Destruction so I started playing Hotel Dusk: Room 215 again until Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth arrives.

Started Uncharted: Drake's Fortune yesterday and finished it last night, was such a good game i couldn't put it down.

Finally started Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and I really like it. It has that old school Ace Attorney feel but with new features.

Started a new game of Oblivion. Going to go the pure evil route...

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance on GBA. And I'm gonna try Assasin's Creed II on PC later but from the looks of it, Ubisoft is giving the middle finger to PC gamers. I don't have a console yet so I have no choice...

Just started my second playthrough of Dragon Age. I'm going to try to get a happier ending this time...

I bought that game during Christmas, but still haven't opened it yet. So many other games I need to play before that one.

For me, currently playing Resident Evil 5. Playing the whole game through while playing the new scenarios (Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape) at the appropriate times in the main storyline.

I rather enjoyed Assassin's Creed II, had a certain 'GTA-ness' feel to it in some aspects (the free roaming and missions etc).

Word of advice, start collecting the Assassin's seals as soon as you can.... once you get Altair's armor, don't need any other armor for the rest of the game. It's unbreakable and won't be damaged in attacks.

Once again changed games lol. Now playing Saints Row 2... for the umpteenth time. I enjoy this game too much, so I'll probably play this for awhile lol.

I'm a decent way into the NOD campaign and my biggest complaint is that Kane doesn't feel very Kane-like.
He feels more human than in the other games, sort of desperate I guess.

I was playing tales of phantasia, but since the emulator crashed two times... I'm playing this.

Went back to playing New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Still need to make one more go on "Desperate Escape" from RE5 on Professional mode without dying once.

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. Really great game and soundtrack <3

I have heard really great things about the plot and setting of fragile dreams, but I've heard many bad things about the gameplay.

Still, I'd like to play it.

Seriously, I'm really enjoying it, despite it's linearity, at least the battle system is greatly improved from the disaster that was FFXII's system. But we'll see. :)

I've never got any problem on picking things from a menu,I like a lot the ATB system, the problem that I had with previous FF battle system such as say IX(the worse) or IV(I've never liked to grind lvls to learn skills) were the awful skill systems, particularily the one on IX.
In XII the skill system is pretty open & very explorable.
The only flaw that XII has on systems is the random treasure chest, that was a godly stupid idea.

Mass Effect 2. Quite a disappointment.

I actually enjoyed Mass Effect 2, just waiting for the 'Kasumi' Add on then I'm going to give it another try, with the Firewalker missions and everything else (Managed to get almost all available DLC for this game, except the Inferno Armor for Shepard... which annoys me slightly as I'd like to have all the DLC, but meh... w/e)., maybe after another playthrough of Mass Effect and it's DLC.

Finished DA:O with a Human Female Noble, involved romantically with Leliana (Rogue), at level 25 (the level cap), with ALMOST the mega Scooby Doo happy ending (Everyone was happy... cept those damn dwarves >.<... and the circle of Magi... ).

Considering playing Dragon Age: Origins Awakening... or GTAIV (with the expansions: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony)... or Saints Row 2 (with all of it's DLC). Dunno which...

I also agree with Enkidoh about FFXII's battle system, but I haven't played that for a year or so, so my memory of it may be off.

As somebody who has frequently played MMORPGs, the hybrid that was 12's all felt very natural to me. 9's skill system sounds good, in addition, if it's anything like FFTA 1 and 2 or like various other games where you learn things by using weapons. I like that sort of thing.

Final Fantasy VI. This might be my favorite in the series, since I've never really chose a favorite Final Fantasy game.

Prototype (PC version). The controls are a little confusing, but the game itself is excellent.

Yeah that's kinda the whole point. What do you mean you're playing alone? You still have to log in to Bnet to play against any kind of opponent. There is no single-player mode in Beta.

There are cracks to bypass the login and AI mods for those who wish to play against computer (the latest AI is quite tough). Also, I don't have a Battle.Net account, so we won't be able to play against each other after all.

Dusted off Rogue Squadron 2. The ties kept crashing into me and that hardly ever happened before. Hitting the bridge of a star destroyer with a torpedo form beyond it's cannon range at an angle while it's turning is very satisfying.

Weird. I despised Vanille because her voice actor is awful and made her cheery optimism sound more like her being a sociopath. I didn't have any problems with Hope, seeing as he really isn't that emo. He never even cries, and only vents his anger every now and then. In fact he's made out to be pretty much the opposite of an emo and more of an angry badass, really.

Speaking of Lightning, I'm surprised you don't dislike her. She is totally unlikeable for the first 5+ hours and then totally cheesy/cliche/retarded for the remainder of the game.

Oh Gods, Skeith was PAIN. It took me a long time to beat him. When I beat him, my party consisted of BlackRose and Mistral with everyone at or around level 40. I STILL had a hard time with him. Just keep trying and you'll beat him eventually. Good luck!

Just finished Dragon Age: Origins Awakening (with my Warden from DA:O). Not bad, it was nice to continue the story from DA:O. Wonder if Bioware will release another expansion before the next DA game.

Started Mass Effect again. Intend to finish this with all DLC and sidequests and get the 'Paragon' ending. Then, after downloading the 'Kasumi Goto' Add on as well as the alternate gear for Jack, Thane and Garrus, going to play Mass Effect 2 right afterwards.

Got Kasumi Goto DLC so I'll be taking a break from Starcraft and be playing Mass Effect 2 for a while.

On the last leg of Miles Edgeworth and started playing Again. It definitely has that interactive novel feel with a nice creep factor. There's a lot of things to take in at the beginning but I'm sure it'll get easier soon enough.

Finally got the Inferno Armor download code for Mass Effect 2 (Along with all the remaining DLC (Alternate Appearance Pack 1 and Kasumi - Stolen Memory Add-on)) yesterday, so returned to ME2 to complete it at least three more times. First for my female Shepard from ME1, then my male Shepard from ME1 (Carrying over the romances they were in to ME3... when that comes out) and maybe a third time with a male Shepard with Tali romance.

Re-playing Brave Fencer Musashi on PSX. Great memories from that one.

FFXIII. And now I'm stuck on the Palamecia against *%$#ing Robopope. That damn doom attack it uses on Lightning is so cheep and nasty. But I won't give up. Not now. Not so close.

I admit, you're right about Hope Neg. After Palampolum he finally grows a backbone and lets go of that stupid whiny 'Snow killed my mum' angst, and has become much more likeable. Despite what the stupid strategy guide says though (goddess, I can't believe I wasted $30 on it), I found Vanille to be a far better healer than Hope, even though he's supposed to be the better healer of the two.

And Fang has become my new 'game girl obsession'. Mostly because she reminds me of a friend of mine. ;)

But I digress.

I need to get back on the XIII train. Been playing Uncharted 2 multiplayer and unlocking cool stuff like infinite ammo and Doughnut Drake :p

I have a cold and wanted something to play while lying on the couch all day, so I caved and grabbed SoulSilver. I didn't feel like I was in the mood for a pokemon remake, but apparently I was all along. I'm two badges in.

I've also been playing Sands of Destruction, which is a little too easy, but fun in a throwback sort of way, and the first Lost in Blue. Thinking about grabbing Again when I finish one of these.

I had the exact same experience with SoD.

Tried out GTA: Chinatown Wars and it's pretty fun. Swearing on the DS, love that. Though for now I went back to finish off Miles Edgeworth. After that I'll continue with Again before really getting into Chinatown Wars.

After the recent server merge last month, things have improved in FFXIO... but also there have been some more teething problems. More competition for Notorious Monsters and the like... still it's a good game.

Taking a break from FFXIO and gone back to Mass Effect 2. Enjoying it all over again... except maybe for the planet scanning part, that is tedious.

To me that game is just pure fun, music is freaking great.

Tagging is bad, so you have cops on your back. Taking back turf, taking other gangs turf... It's all just a great game.

It's Prince of Persia on rollerblades. The point is to take back a Tokyo that has outlawed freedom of expression. You will face off against rival gangs, snipers, ground troops, and attack helicopters. It's a pretty challenging game.

Just finished the ice mansion in Twilight Princess. I've already played through this game and I still got hung up on this one again. Majora's Mask is my favorite but Twilight Princess is definitely the best overall game.

I'm only using the ordon sword and avoiding getting any extra hearts.

Not sure if that comment was directed at me or not, but nah... despite spoilers, I can still be pretty shocked when I see something for the first time. :) I haven't played SM since January... I need to play that game again soon.

Yep, it was to you. I got spoilered on one thing in Homecoming, but it wasn't the biggest, and it didn't adversely affect my enjoyment.

I really should play something....

I really have to either limit my FFXIII playing to only the weekends or to be more lenient and not force myself through a chapter every day. I'm starting to go to bed at 3 in the morning. It's severely affecting my wake up routines to the point that I sometimes don't even hear the alarm clock go off and be late for work. My current worst record on the punch clock is 9:25 in the morning.

And all this because one chapter runs for like 4-5 hours each, and I'm afraid that if I stop mid-chapter I'll have problems picking up where I left off on the walkthrough. The main reason for the walkthrough? So that I don't miss any treasure boxes. It's already bad enough that I get lost in the walkthrough even while playing and backtrack a lot just to make sure I didn't miss a treasure box that's hidden behind some nook, since apparently once you leave an area, you can't go back.

It's more structured than Fallout. Feels like Spidy 3. That it has regenerating health makes it a hundred million times better than Fallout. Also, really simple skill trees and not assigning points to stats.

It's a little boring and repetitive, but maybe just because I grinded for a while to get better melee before doing the second mission. Now quests are open, so that might change.

Haha. ^^ I think the team is going to be Haunter, Sableye, Banette, Mismagius, and Froslass plus an HM slave. The team isn't bred yet though, so I'll totally take suggestions.

I picked up Etrian Odyssey II yesterday, and I'm surprised I never got into this or the first one sooner. This is right up my alley. I'm having a ton of fun making my maps and I really like the team I built (Ronin, Survivalist, Protector, Medic, and Gunner). The art for the characters is so cute!

Finished the Knights of the Nine add on for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Have just the Mage's Guild quest line and main quest line to do. Gonna be playing Dragon Age: Origins Darkspawn Chronicles later, when it's available for download off Xbox Live.

As a secondary response to your post; I'm guessing I'm to assume you're referring to Final Fantasy XIII and not the actual game called XIII - which happens to be a cel shaded first person shooter from last generation.

As a side note, the ratings board for the PAL region really destroys the design of the cases. Whereas ESRB has a more appealing look that doesn't disturb the rest of the cover design.

That is uncomfortably close. Allegedly Last Story comes out in September if I understand the Japanese website right. On the other hand, the localization of the game will probably delay it a few months before the US version gets released, so it should be fine.

I'm moving on to Reverse/Rebirth in Re:Chain of Memories, as I have just finished Sora's side of the story. Took me nearly 43 hours to complete. Craziness.

Just started playing Moon for the DS. I'm amazed at how beautiful the graphics are and how comfortable the controls are. Definitely a step up from the first Dementium.

Lately I've been into FFVII, Sly Cooper, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks. These three have me hooked right now.

It was annoying, but not the hardest. Apparently -- and I just found out about this -- the game wasn't really received well, and I understand why, however I enjoyed it as much as the others. It just made me more frustrated because of how cheap it was. I can't tell you how many times I died. Thing is, it's far more forgiving than the first two games, or any of the Original Series for that matter.

As I've played through the entirety of the Original Series (save for 10), and up to X6 consecutively, I didn't have too much trouble getting past it anyways.

So I'm in between games at the moment, as I've just beaten X6 and F-Zero X. While I'm waiting for my second copy of Breed to arrive in the mail, I think I might attack San Fransisco Rush 2049 (DC) again, and try and get all the coins. Either that or just keep on playing Modern Warfare 2.

I've played the first X on SNES & almost finished it, the battle against sigma in it's final form was so boring that I desisted.
I didn't liked the 2nd X game at all & don't get me started on the 3rd one.
The lvl design on X6 was annoying & unfair, like you've said, it was cheap.
The ones that I've enjoyed the most were X5 Y X4, actually X5 is my all time fauvorite megaman game.

They kinda killed it by using the Light side ending of academy as canon & also like you've said, they've didn't make a new one in 7 years.
Dark side ending of Academy as canon would've been amazing hook for a new one.

Kyle Katarn is so badass that you have to escape from him in the final battle.

Currently Final Fantasy VII, Sly Cooper, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The latter two I completed, but started FFVII over.
