Chapter 11 is better than chapter 5, I thought. It was fun to watch, but the game really is basically just an interactive anime. It revolves around QTEs and all action sequences revolve around mashing buttons to fill a meter so that you can press R2 to proceed to the next cutscene. I'd rent it probably, but I wouldn't buy it.

From what I know, it was considered to be the worst launch title for the 360. I personally enjoyed it, but I think they could've worked on it some more, so, it's a 7/10 imo. It's sort of like Splinter Cell, except it involves vampires known as Nightwalkers. You have to sneak around in a city while trying to avoid the vampires. Yes, they're hard to kill, but to me, that's the realism there because they have superhuman strength and that's what a vampire would have which is why I found it to be understandable to avoid them. I found the backstory interesting, but wish they should've elaborated on some things and the ending is a bit...short and sort of meh. Not a bad ending, but again, they could've have done better.
Later on, you'll get weapons that can do some damage like the shotgun and sniper rifle(and a even more powerful sniper rifle during the final chapter of the game). The only remotely useless weapon in the game is the pistol. In one mission, the machine guns will be useful because you and your team will be holding off the vampires. Also, later on, there will be Nightwalker soldiers that aren't as difficult as the regular ones
There's a PS3 version called Vampire Rain: Altered Species. I've seen footage of it, and to me, it's isn't really different, just improvement on the animations I think from what I've read.
If you want to try it out, you can get it cheap at gamestop. Just make sure you have the patience because that's what made me like the game and be more understandable. I'm not quick to jump into the "hate this game and love that game, love that game and hate this game" bandwagon like most people nor take any reviews word for anything. :)

Maxx:
If you look earlier in this thread, we covered this already. The original RE is basically something else entirely now, rather than a legitimate part of the series. The remake has completely replaced the original, and is the greatest remake ever made. I still enjoy the intro of the original, and the Master of Unlocking stuff, but its unintentionally hilarious. They didn't actually intend for these sectons to be cheesy and funny (which makes it even more hilarious). The remake was (in Shinji Mimkami's own words) a chance for them to go back and do the game properly, now that they were a bit wiser about western culture and film making. Then again, its a sad thing to think about, but most horror films aren't much better than that video!
Yeah, I must've missed that bit of the conversation, as I don't visit this site enough to keep my comments relevant enough. Regardless, the original RE was still relatively campy despite the creator's original intentions. I agree the remake helped rectify that, but it doesn't erase its existence. I'm pretty sure you were a fan of the franchise before the REmake was released.
Moving on... I finished Conker: Live and Reloaded, both the Bad Fur Day portion and Chapter X. It makes me sad that I missed out on the chance to actually play those maps on Live, because I found the frenetic matches with the bots to be quite enjoyable. Though, like Perfect Dark, they have a tendacy to go crazy with the rocket launchers.
So I moved on to Penumbra: Black Plague for PC. I only made it an hour in because my friend has my power adaptor, as her's had died, so my battery died on me. I have to go get it now, because that's what I'd rather be doing now. Thing is; she's on the other side of town, and there's about a foot of snow on the ground, and I don't feel like driving in it.
Vrykolas
01-15-2012, 12:05 PM
I did like the original RE, but back then I liked it for the campy schlock factor. I didn't own a PS1 myself, so the throwaway nature of my involvement with the series at that point was twofold. I just played it at my mates houses, as an amusingly cheesy knockabout. I didn't take notice of the series properly until I played RE2 (which at first, I was reluctant to do, because I wasn't in the mood for more B movie campness, but was persuaded by friends that it was a big step forwards). As far as canon and what I consider to be part of the series, I do believe that the remake has completely replaced the original.
The original is simply of a different time and can only really be judged fairly on those terms. The FMV sequence at the start is awful and cheesy as hell, but so was 99% of FMV used in games around that time. Voice acting for games was in its infancy, and games companies hadn't yet made the jump from writing a script that would appear in text, and one that actors would actually have to read aloud.

While Saints Row The Third is a good game, it's not as good as Saints Row 2 was. Stilwater 2.0 is far bgger than Steelport, more extras to find and sucjh. I will say that the comedy in SRTT is just a good as the previous ones... though I question Volition's decision to kill off Johnny Gat at the beginning of the game. I do suspect that one of the three upcoming DL (namely 'The Trouble with Clones') MAY have the possibility of a 'resurrection' of Gat... though that's just a theory going around with Saints Row fans.

Really now. Wasn't aware that was the case. Well that sucks. So I guess I agree entirely with your statement. Well, evidentally, video games are way overpriced in Austrailia. Good luck on saving up for a new game release, unless you can afford the money to burn.
Well, I have beaten Penumbra: Black Plague, and so I have moved on to the final chapter in the series; Requiem. Requiem is different than the other two Penumbra titles. Where they incorporated environmental puzzles mixed seamlessly with the exploratory nature of digging further into this seemingly abandoned mining complex, Requiem differs in that it splits the environmental puzzles into individual stages. Each stage ends with a portal that needs to be activated by collecting orbs strewn about each level. It really feels more like a Portal type of experience with the lack actual in-game characters outside of the disembodied voices in your head, and being sanctioned into various tests, that must be completed in order to escape the facility. It boils down to being Portal without the gun.
That aside, it nails down the atmosphere of an abandoned mining facility, much like the previous iterations. The puzzles are fun and engaging, and the reintroduction of Red questions Philip's sanity, as he moves to escape the facility, thus drawing the catalyst of this adventure. Though I do much prefer Clarence with his snide remarks over Red's droll of broken English. I'm pretty I'm getting close to the end, considering that these games have only lasted about six hours each. I expect the same of this one.

Last year I spent $506.85 on games ($109.95 for Dragon Age II Signature Edition, $99.95 for Dynasty Warriors 7, $69.96 for NCIS the Videogame, $128.00 for Saints Row The Third Smooth Criminal Edition and $99.00 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) whereas if I was living in the US, I'd probably would've only paid half that for those titles. Sad thing is, here in Australia we've always had to pay top dollar for games ever since the NES era (I still have a copy of Star Wars for the NES with the price tag of $99.99 on it... and my Breath of Fire II for the SNES had the price of $98.00). Everywhere else the price of games and consoles are far more reasonable (I don't think the US had the cost of a $1,000.00 for the PS3 when that first came out)... not just with prices but also with censorship of games. There's no R18+ rating for videogames here... yet, there is the possibility of that rating finally coming out in about 2 years but until then...
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, my save file for Dragon Age: Origins was corrupted, so gone back to playing Red Dead Redemption... going to try and finish it this time.

Could you at least be mature when explaining things to people that may be wrong? Name calling just makes you immature.
Well, it could be worse. I think I'd prefer poo brain over sh*t head any day of the week. At least you can tell he's just jesting.
Though, he does have a valid point, because Amazon's shipping rates wouldn't be nearly as expensive as buying a game outright in Austrailian stores.
Buy Amazon.com, keep your records, and if there is a problem, report it. Amazon is a safe place to do business, even moreso than eBay is.

I appreciate the words about using Amazon or other online stores... As I don't have a credit card or Paypal account, I'll stick with what's easiest for me. As it is, I do get about 30% discount for games I buy from a friend's store (only a small family owned game store) and every second hand game I purchase there I get for bout $5-$10 AUSD. Besides, last year I only purchased five games... the year before only two. If I was buying a new game every week, more than likely I would look into a online store, however as I only purchase ones which I've either read about online or have seen videos of on Youtube. Even if the game turns out to not be what I like, I can take it back to my friend's store and get a full refund.
Back to Skyrim... Decided to focus on finishing the main quest as well as te Mage guild arc... then create another character to get the other achievements I missed (Just hope that the upcomin patch 1.4 fixes more of the bugs/glitches... as well as allow me to finish some missions I've been unable to do in my current playthrough).

I've started Metroid for the first time ever. I know, for being such a big fan of Nintendo, it's like a sin to have missed the starting entry in a core franchise. However, it's the truth; I'm a Metroid virgin. The only other Metroid title that I've ever sat down to play is Metroid Prime Pinball, and that really doesn't count, even though it was a great game.
I've had it for quite some time now for the GBA, but never got around to it. I traded it in when I took advantage of Nintendo's 3DS Ambassador program, so now I'm playing on that platform. I haven't gotten very far, considering that everytime I die, I spawn back at the main entry point. There just seems to be a lot of unnecessary backtracking because of this, but I can forgive it because of its age, and its legacy. It's definitely taking me back to MegaMan's style of difficulty, that's for sure.

Generally speaking, I'm not much of a fan of NES games to begin with. I find them to derivative in nature, and unnecessarily difficult and punishing. With that said, I've been trying to get into select titles simply because I missed out on them growing up. Case in point, Metroid came out in 1986 in the states, and I was born the same year. Wasn't exactly aware of video games until 1990, but never actually got to touch one until about '94, '95.
First console game I played was Super Mario World, and I didn't get a chance to actually beat that game until I moved out of my parent's place in 2004.
So I have quite a bit of catching up to do, though I've since made it through all of the 'original series' MegaMan titles, all the earlier Sonic, a large majority of the classic Mario titles, and finally through the Donkey Kong Country titles. I still have yet to make it through all of the 2D Zelda titles, but I have made it through both NES one's. I haven't even begun to start Castlevania, Contra, or Ninja Gaiden, let alone many of the other titles that came out on the platform.

But yeah, I was hoping that even with the folding of the company that made these games, that someone else might pick it up, or they might be a novel or something. Doesn't seem likely, but I guess you never know.

Metroid is an interesting game. It's interesting, because even though it's kicking my butt, I'm still finding it quite enjoyable. It's different from anything else I've played before, as it gives a sense of atmosphere that no other NES game accomplished. It beckons me each time I fail, to keep plunging deeper into these mysterious caves filled with sentient creatures. The only glimmer of hope I see is when I discover that next new treasure that might assist me as I venture forth.
Aside from the scarcity of checkpoints and relatively repetitive environments, it surprisingly holds up well. The floaty controls can be excused because of the setting though. However, I'm feeling that Samus's is more of the threat than the creatures in the environment. They're just protecting their homes as she comes blasting in with guns blazing. Sure they're gonna attack her if she invades their territory, as she's alien to this environment, and I'm sure it's gonna hurt if she touches that spiny creature that crawls along the walls. I guess that's why she's classified as the hunter.

So I was making some headway in Metroid's depths (Brinstar?), everything was moving along nicely. I figured out the enemy patterns and discovered pretty much every aspect of the lower levels was basically copypasted multiple times. I was feeling good about my situation when I realized the game was running me around in circles, after which I found that I hit a deadend. What kind of boullocks is that?
I'm pretty sure I combed every nook and cranny I had access to, but I'm gonna have to look through it again. Either that, or find a map for clarification. Up to this point I had been going on my memory of the environment's layout alone, but with the repeating level designs, I have to make sure I'm going in the right direction. If anything's convoluted, it's this level design that is.

The reason I suspect, is because its a block jumping puzzle game! I admit that it doesn't sound all that amazing in terms of gameplay, but its an Atlus game and they always give you a good story and an agreeably macabre atmosphere. Besides, I didn't think I was going to enjoy Trauma Center's gameplay, but that turned out to be a suprisingly great little gem.
And to be honest, I'm used to receiving punishment from Atlus by now. Its like they don't want people to play their games at times, what with the insane encounter rates in their RPGs, and the generic dungeon crawling in otherwise sparklingly well conceived games like Persona etc. Yeah, Atlus... they keep on hitting me, but I still kinda love 'em...

I'm still waiting to pick up Catherine on the cheap - around $20 maybe. I'm interested in it, but not enough to pay whatever it's going for now (something like $40AUD in the UK maybe?). Apparently the writing in the game is pretty good right up until the end, where it all falls apart.
As for why stores charge so much for games in Australia, it's just from when the difference between the AUD and USD was pretty big. I think it's starting to change, though. Harvey Norman just started their direct import (
http://www.harveynormandirectimport.com/) store, which mails games from a UK warehouse directly to a customer. I think we'll start to see more changes in the big chain stores here soon enough. Big W has been charging ~$79 for new games for a while now, which is something I guess.
If you want to import games, there's also ozgameshop.com and zavvi.com

It adds a few twists to the tried-and-true formula, but to disregard it entirely based on its similarity to its predecessors would do it a disservice, simply because it's still a great game. MarioKart on the go is always a good thing. It also supports single card play with all the available courses, which MKDS lacked.

Actually, Phantasy Star Online was the first console game to bring MMO gaming to consoles on a smaller-scale, paving the way for larger-scale MMORPG efforts such as Final Fantasy XI to the Xbox 360 and the cancelled Marvel Online. Hironobu Sakaguchi was impressed by the western MMO's like EverQuest, wich he drew as inspiration for Final Fantasy XI.

I beat Metroid last night and received a subpar ending. My 3DS states that I spent 26 hours in Zebra. Fun game, and I love the Metroids as an enemy type as they're so much fun to kill, despite their tendancy to respawn quickly. Regardless of the ending I received, I beat Mother Brain with only 1pt of energy remaining. I was freaking out when that place was about to blow up.

With any luck, my copy of Catherine will arrive tomorrow. I tried to buy it from GAME last Friday - went in, found plenty of copies on the shelves, took it to the counter... and they had no copies in. Apparantly, because they'd received no pre-orders, they didn't actually get any copies of it, but since they were being paid to display the game, thought it was fine to put all those empty boxes on the shelves...
I mean - what?! What kind of crap is that?! And they wonder why retail is struggling so much against online, when they pull stunts like this? I felt like an utter fool going up and being told they had no copies (though there was no way I could have known, its still highly embarassing). Well, I won't be shopping there again, that's for sure.

GAME is a British games retailer. I'm surprised you haven't heard of them, as they've been going forever (though that may soon change, as apparently they're in big financial trouble - which serves them right). They own Gamestation as well, I believe. But yeah, this whole sorry episode is seriously making me consider buying all my games online from now on. I just don't need this kind of crap - if you put a games box on the shelves, you should have a copy available when a customer asks about that box.
Its not much to ask, is it? But apparently its too much for GAME...
Oh, and I'm playing Final Fantasy 6. I'd forgotten how much the characters jump around in that game. Kefka seems particularly spring loaded... I still don't get why people think that character is so amazing.

I don't think anyone outside of the UK has ever heard of a store simply called GAME. Likewise, I wouldn't expect anyone outside the US and Canada to know what a GameStop, EBGames, or Funcoland are. It's a regional thing, because I've never heard of GAME either. But hearing about their poor customer service, I don't even care to.
Plus local game/general entertainment stores have the better deals and trade-in values. My favorite place to go to is called The Exchange. They only have two locations; one in Pittsburgh, PA and the other in Erie, PA.

Has anybody else played the Mass Effect 3 demo yet? The first part of it is awful.
Finally played it last night, the singleplayer portion, and found it to be rather.. meh. The first part bored me to tears... and that muscle bound nutbar James Vega, I'm hoping I can get him killed in the full game.
The second part was slightly better, but again lacking in any real idea of what to do (Go help Mordin and kill Cerberus troopers.). The graphics look rather rundown, but then as it's a demo, one can hope it'll look prettier when the main game comes out. I do like the new leveling up system though, being able to have more choice in how to develop powers as well as some new nes (Always liked the Engineer class... an being able to have a Sentry Turret alongside a Combat Drone... could allow for more strategy in the full game, when used with the rest of your party.
The Multiplayer aspect... Was just like I feared it would be though. Being yelled at by a prepubescent child who ran out into the open and got themselves killed, and because I wouldn't run out and revive him. That's just one incident, but set the pace for the rest of the time I played it. From my perspective, it's easy to see how EA/BioWare are trying to lure others from action games to Mass Effect 3.
Still... from a demo aspect, overall it was ok. Nothing to write home about, so we'll see what happens when the full game comes out on March 8th. I could post a 'Wall-Of-Text' to better describe my opinion/observation, but I think this'll suffice.
@ANGRYWOLF: I do agree with you regarding Dragon Age Origins. It is a very good game, let down by a mediocre expansion and a sequel which didn't really live up to expectations. Still, it's a new universe to explore and with Dragon Age III undoubtedly in the works I'm predicting that it MAY be released next year, as Dragon Age II was released a year after Mass Effect 2's release.
To topic: Playing Final Fantasy XI Online still, but also playing Saints Row The Third alongside. I have a feeling the second DLC, [i]Gangstas In Space will be released in the next week or so, as the achievements for it have already been announced (with Genki Bowl VII was released, the achievements were announced a week prior to it's launch).

I doubt very much that the action will be as good as Vanquish - that game's one of the most under-rated action games of recent times. If it just wasn't against robots all the time, I think it would have done a lot better. Robots are not interesting enemies.
And yes, I hail from Great Britain, Wales specifically. Land of miners, sheep and close harmony male voice choir singing. None of which I have anything to do with - my lawyer has advised me to say. I'm also a chronic insomniac, which explains why I'm up at all hours!

I'm late to the party since you've finished the game on Prof already, but the key I found to beating the game effectively on that difficulty level was to take out enemies at a distant if possible. I also found not equipping the bullet proof vest and melee vest helpful since one hit depletes you danger mode with or without it.

Been thinking about playing the Mass Effect 3 demo.
Speaking of Mass Effect 3, I can't stand certain people that are always trying to convince you to not buy a game you want to get by saying "the company is greedy, they don't care about the customers, they're all about money(no shit it's all about money), blah blah freaking blah" and how they always think that just because you think a game is great(or going to be great) from a "greedy company" they think you're "sucking their big corporate dicks". To me, imo, even if they're like that, if I enjoy their games, or if there are games I find interest in, I'm still buying. I don't care what they do, and whatever they do is none of my business. I just want to enjoy what I payed for, no matter what company it comes from since I normally don't consider myself of a fan of anything.
Sorry for that little rant, but it was just something that's been bugging me.
I've also played Cry of Fear and man, it's going to be worse than Afraid of Monstors imo(not worse as if i'm saying the mod is bad, worse in terms of how scary it can be).

The arguments that some people make against certain games, is usually in reaction to the media blitz of hype surrounding those games. AAA games of all creeds and colours get far too much a free pass from the press, because the press are so reliant on developers to a) send them a review copy in the first place, b) give them exclusive interviews, previews etc, and c) earn the bulk of their revenue by having developers place ads for games on their sites, mags etc. The press is completely biased in favour of companies who can afford to pay them.
And every so often, people just can't take it anymore and snap. So they try and counteract that hype with negative views of their own. Both sides are usually being less than honest (metacritic user scores are often a lot of 10's and 0's for example). But the fact is, we can't trust the press to tell us the truth about big games. They lie about the quality of the big games, and they do it all the time. In that kind of climate, you have to expect some people will feel the need to speak out about it.
Specifically to Mass Effect 3, I haven't played the demo myself, so I have no opinion to give. I do know that the usually rabidly pro-Bioware fans have been severely rattled by it though, as apparently its not very good at all. Comparisons are being drawn with Dragon Age 2, in a 'Its terrible just like DA2, and this is the end of Bioware; kind of way. It probably isn't true, but once opinion turns like this, it can be near impossible to turn it back around.

Well, I tried out the Dragon Age 2 demo in 2010(I think) and I personally enjoyed it(especially the new combat system) and had good expectations of it, but I've let the price drop over time like I usually do with many other games. As for the "rabidly pro-Bioware fans"(fanboys I assume. If not, never mind) you describe are pretty much one of the reasons why I don't join any kind of fanbase. I guess you can say I'm more of a "whatever floats my boat" kind of gamer.
but once opinion turns like this, it can be near impossible to turn it back around.
I THINK I've seen that kind of thing happen, but I'm not entirely sure.
Oh, and the reason why I've made that little rant was because some guy was saying he'd rather pirate ME3 because of EA, which bothered me and I said "Pirate a great game? No, thanks." He assumed I was fan by saying "keep sucking that big corporate dick, biodrone" or something like that. He's probably one of those "fight the big bad greedy corporation, boycott them, don't let them take your money" types of gamers I can't stand.

For the record, I like Dragon Age 2 as well - its just that it is regarded as an awful game, a betrayal of the series etc. When people across the internet compare a game to Dragon Age 2, they are not complimenting the game.
And I also have no real problem with EA (or rather, I have no greater problem with them than any of the other big companies). EA have produced lots of games recently that I liked (Mirror's Edge, the Dead Space games, Command and Conquer series etc etc. People are quick to blame EA for Bioware's perceived recent slump, but forget that without EA funding, Mass Effect 2 would never have gotten the exposure it did, would never have been able to look so good or run so smoothly. Dragon Age Origins was also rumbling along for years and years, before EA came along with the funding and the push needed to get the game out the door.
I do Bioware have gone downhill since they joined EA, but that's a problem of their own making. They chose to sign up (and sign away their rights), and people warned them at the time what it could mean (i,e an eventual loss of identity and credibility). I still think people are writing the obituary on ME3 too soon, as we've seen so little of it. We should at least wait until the game is out before passing judgement.

The fact is, whether its good or not, Mass Effect 3 will be a huge commericial success, and unless its genuinely awful, the critics will give it a fairly easy ride (assuming its at least of average quality, most critics will give it a very high score as they do for all AAA games that aren't obviously terrible).
But the quality still matters, as it will determine how people think of Bioware. They've been the big noise for a while now, with critics, fans and more recently the mainstream gamers, doting on them. But with Dragon Age 2, their joining up with EA, mutterings about The Old Republic being an expensive underperformer etc, they could easily find themselves on the wrong side of popular opinion, if Mass Effect 3 is seen to be a failure (particularly by their core base of fans, who seem to be the most unhappy at the moment, although some critics are starting to break cover and speak out against them too).
What they really need (and what us fans really hope they will deliver) is a game that recaptures that X factor that they seem to have lost recently. I hope Mass Effect 3 will be that game.
So, fingers and toes crossed...

QFT... yet going by whats being said on the Xbox Forums, it's being treated there as the next coming of Christ, and if you say one thing against it (say... the kinect feature), the knives come out and you'll get attacked. As much as I'm looking forward to this game (and I will get it, if only to finish my Shepard's stories from the first two games)... unless Dragon Age III really surprises me, this'll be my last BioWare/EA title...
Gone back to playing Alpha Protocol, which dispite it's laws, is a good game in it's own rght.

Agreed. I also find it to be underrated, too.
Still playing Skyrim.

Alpha Protocol rocks - that boss fight with Konstantin Brayko with the 80's music playing, is one of the greatest things ever. That whole section is awesome, because of Brayko's lack of taste, and his hideous, gaudy mansion. Its cool that he has an arcade in there though. And Mike's quip when you get locked in there and ambushed by a group of goons is priceless:
'One high score coming up...' lol!
A great game, and it kills me that there's not going to be a sequel.

Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning (PS3):
Over 110 hours
Level Cap of 40 is bullshit
Over 1k armor
Can't really die now that I've got high HP/Mana regeneration
Still need to power up my weapons for damage
I'm currently playing as a 'Universalist' and almost done with all the quest involving Factions
Still got about 50 'side quests' to go

My younger brother held a LAN party at his place last night so I played a few things. Mostly Halo: Reach, because his crew likes to play Halo. So we played Halo. I renewed my XBL subscription for the next two months for $2. I love their introductory offers. You just have to remember to take off the auto-renewal.
I also played some Battlefield 1943, Perfect Dark, and Left4Dead 2 to round out the night. Ended up winning a match of Vs. by myself in The Parish when my team abandoned me after the third round.

At the moment I'm playing Silent Hill 3, and I'm also doing a no alert, no kill run of Metal Gear Solid 3 HD.
Also playing... kind of:
Resident Evil: Revelations - bought this on release, not really tickling me so I've stalled at about Chapter 7.
Dragon age: Origins - I've always got a game of this going, which I pick up every few days or so.
The Last Story - bought this on the weekend, but it hasn't really grabbed me. Battle system is ok once you're able to control your entire team, though.

Played some MarioKart: Double Dash!! last night for the first time in a long time. I cleared out my save file, and started anew. I've forgotten how fun this game was, however, it's tons more fun with friends.

Hmm, the game has never frozen for me ever - and I've played it thousands of times! As for the item creation, you need the guide, simple as that. Its not an issue for me as I don't care about item creation in games. I usually stay away from it, but the guide showed me how to make the truly amazing bonuses for my weapons.
Seriously though, TTEOT is in my top 3 of JRPGs. Its a game I can (and do) play again and again and again.

All you need to know is how to get that +500 ATTK bonus, and apply it as many times as you can! Game breaking to the max!
Besides, how are you having trouble with the Item Creation, after all your Disgaea antics? I've seen your reports of how well you've done at those games, and it puts me to shame! I've played a couple of Disgaea games, but I haven't done much more than complete the main stories! I look at all the options and item worlds and stuff in those games and then I have to go and lie down...

Civilization IV
OOH!! you any good?
I got civ 4 on my pc.
Right now, i am playing ultima 7 the black gate.
I have explored a lot of areas already.
My next idea for a playthrough:I want to finish FFX and ff5 some day,but right now i am getting my ultima fix.
I also have the desire to play through ultima underworld as well.If i beat both of these, that would make it 3 games in total of the ultima series that i have completed.

Nah, I'm...okay at strategy games. I usually take things slow, you know. :p Build up stuff, get some upgrades, and then I make my move.
Edit: Was playing Rome: Total War and right now, I'm thinking about playing Medieval 2: Total War, or something else.

Speaking as a greek person, I just find the accent the greek units have absolutely hilarious. Anyways, this game is great, it's aged like a fine wine and I'm loving replaying it.
