I found Dark Cloud 2 for cheap. All of the sidequests it has are really fun, picture taking, fishing, golf, inventing, collecting medals. It takes me forever just to progress since I'm spending all of my time on the side stuff.

Much better than GTA4 as in it never gets boring. Even the "required" mini-games. Highly recommended to those let down by GTA4. If you can deal with the lower production costs, you'll dig it. Oh, and the soundtrack is better.

I have that for the PS3. I played the first bit. Up to when you leave the temple and start the main game.

The camera seemed really bad. It was frustrating at times. Though I love the idea of it being an open world game. And i am a huge fan of the PoP games. I like the way the Prince is too, he seems like a much more likeable character than in the other games. I'll probably get into it after i'm done with other stuff. But it's nice to know i have something to look forward to when i'm done.

I just got it to pass the time, and it's somewhat fun.

I've been playing quite a lot of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the DS. I wanted to get 100% completion or so, but that was before I realized that there were medals you could only get if you beat a boss without taking a hit, and I'm not up for doing that. I'm in Dracula's castle now, just a bit after killing the Wallman boss.

I've also been playing a lot of two Neo Geo games via the NeoDS emulator on my DS flash cart, Nightmare in the Dark and Neo Mr. Do. Both are simple, fun arcade games that are kinda similar to other games, but have their own charm.

Nightmare in the Dark is kinda like the Snow Bros. or Bubble Bobble, but with a monster theme and more power ups, and Neo Mr. Do is an update to an old arcade game that's similar to Dig Dug. Both are a lot of fun, and good way to waste a bit of time.

Really, I've got a lot of games to play for awhile, as I've built up quite the backlog and I've promised myself not to buy any more games until the list of games I own but haven't beaten gets smaller.

You should pick up Resistance 2 if you can Calum, the online alone is worth it.

Anyway I finished Resistance 2, pretty weird ending, obviously means there will be a Resistance 3, now I might focus on gaining levels online and getting those items in LBP.

I always had trouble with resistance but I have trouble with first persons altogether. Oblivion was a letdown for me even tho I'm a rpg lover. Sadly it's first person... :(

Fallout 3's 3rd person was worser for me over teh shoulder mounted cam disorient in combat so

I just didn't like the combat system at all.

I think it's only good for actually seeing you character cause mayhem in slooooooooow mooooo.

I started playing Prince Of Persia on PS3 today. I have to say it's pretty impressive. The enviroments look and sound beautiful, and the characters have been done creatively. The dialogue is funny. And the addition of Nathan Drake's voice for the Prince makes the conversation all the more enjoyable.

I can see this game taking up quite a large chunk of my time.

Oh, strangely enough, I started playing Assasin's Creed last night, but after 30 minutes I got bored and turned it off. Perhaps I didn't give it a good enough chance; I was tired and it was 5am, so my patience was thin. But it didn't give the me first impression that Prince Of Persia has.

Just finished Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare. After being sick of FPSs for a long time I found this to be a thrilling yet slightly disturbingly realistic shooter. Sure it's been around for ages and everyones played it by now but it just blew my socks off.

I'll be starting it again on the highest setting. Tense stuff.

I keep getting stuck in RE5 on the dude at the end of 5-2. If anyone can help, it'd be muchly appreciated.

i play RE5, all modes.
cod2: deathmatch, team DM,
cod5: same as above plus nazi zombies (favorite, if playing that gave you EXP, i would be literally over 9000 in rank), sometimes search and destroy.
im one of those "constant action" type of people.
for tactics, i play an RTS.. this is a FPS, leave your brain at the door and make sure the other dumb bastard loses his to your gun.

First off, use the explosive containers. Knock 'em over, blow 'em up. Then, grab the flamethrower. Aim for his arm, back up, do it again. He'll stand up, wind up his arm, and fling. That's why you want to back off. When you've hit him in his arms enough he'll bend over and two balls on stalks will come out of his back. Get up next to him and flame the shit outta them.

Rinse and repeat. There's two first aid sprays and a green herb in the room on normal. This game is way to kind about supplies during boss fights, imo :o

I ran into the frame-rate issues in the factory level. It happened during explosions. It was rather cinematic, tbh.

I didn't say it shouldn't be able to. I'm just saying it looked kinda neat. I was expecting stuttering, but it was very smooth, just a slow down.

Yeah the xbox 360 excels with framerates in RE5 a lot better than the PS3 which is rather surprising.

Also thanks for the help Neg....that boss is a bastard and I'll use your tactic when I get home tonight.

Also I know this argument will go on forever but paying for Xbox Live is awesome because it gives you so much more than PSN and doesn't cost that much anyway.

Well my psp has taken me back to the nes to games like Zelda 1 and 2, Blaster Master, Megaman 1-6, Double Dragon 1-3, Journey to Silius, Xexyz, also some Super nes like Megaman X and Super Metroid! Damn old school games kick ass. I wish i still had my Nes and all my Super nes games =(

I'm currently playing Hotel Dusk Room 215 even though I've played through it like 20 times. It's my in-between-games game while I wait for Dragon Ball: Origins to ship.

That game is awesomesauce except for

Yeah, but the plot twists still caught me by surprise, but perhaps I was being short.

I've just finished playing Vagrant Story for the first time. What a suberb game!

Finished Half-Life 2 again a week ago.

Currently playing Eternal Sonata again. Up to Chapter 5.

Just started playing Dragon Ball: Origins and even though I've only played through the first chapter, it's pretty fun though I hope the difficulty raises a bit more in the coming chapters.

I'm not gaming anything right now... I might go play Legend of Mana or Suikoden V... both games I have and I haven't played more than an hour, even though I have them for a while now.

I should be playing Bioshock, but all I've been playing is Platinum.
