Finally finished Dark Souls 2. The tale of the tape was 27 bosses and there were at least 3 more optional ones that I skipped because my character had no beef with them (King Vendrick, Royal Rat Authority and Ancient Dragon were all non hostiles as far as I was concerned). Clocked in at around the same amount of time for the other games, but it felt much longer due to the game having more locations and more bosses. Overall, it was much *much* easier than the previous games. I cruised through most of it, only really running into one truly challenging, ultra-frustrating moment.
But that section was... ARRGGH! It was so blatantly ridiculous that I looked online afterwards to see what people made of it, and was comforted to see that the area (and specific place I had trouble with) was indeed considered to be the game's hardest and most annoying sections. Plus I had the *exact* worst choice of character for that section - the config that you absolutely do not want for the area. (It was a sort of semi flooded area hampering movement as lots of mages fire homing spells at you, as you're being ambushed by stealth guys and clobbered by powerful melee fellows who all aren't impeded by the water - and I was playing as an ultra slow, melee-only, tank character with no real magic defense and no ranged attacks of any kind).
Fun, fun, fun...
That said though, as frustrating as it was, it was still easier than Anor Londo's Greatbow sniper gallery and the infamous duo of Ornstein and Smough from the first Dark Souls. But it was damn annoying. And its a shame really, as I was quite enjoying that level up until that point. The challenge of dodging the spells and wading through water and dodging ambushs was good tense fun, and pummeling those spellcasting slags was so cathartic when I got to them each time. But that specific part was just outrageous. I still don't agree with the calls of 'Bad Level Design' that people are throwing at it though - it was after all my own choice to use Heavy armour, Melee weapons exclusively, to not use the bow just for this occasion even though it would have made life easier. And it was also my choice to not go online and summon helpers (because I don't play this or any game online). I just didn't want to compromise how my character played, so it was my pride which forced me to do it the hard way - not the game.
So yeah, it was a good game. Lacked the atmosphere of the other 2 games, but it was still a fine experience in its own right. It never quite hit the same highs as the other games, but I still had a really good time with it. Might give the DLC a try at some point, but for now its time to bask in my victory and prepare myself mentally for The Evil Within.

Mainly focusing on "Brave in search of spirit dancer" which is unpolished and pretty meeh action platformer but my god does it have some really impressive views at times. The valley where you fly with the eagle is fricking gorgeous and the people that made the game deserve a lot of credit for that area.

Playing Disgaea - Afternoon of Darkness some more... Forgot how to access a bunch of stuff in it, and online guides aren't helping. Trying to unlock the dungeons from the character next to the promotions/voting character (thats where the Prinny after Prinny god is Chou Mou or whatever). Also trying to unlock the last class - the mage class that starts with Terra spells. Haven't found the character when I've been persuading by force at all. (This is a replay; after I had a memory card get stolen)
Finally beat Zetta, and the demonhall mirror bosses.
Can't remember how to get Don Joaquin or the three power ranger knockoffs to join (2 die on me almost immediately when I start the fight). I've seen Astro Carter show up as playable in youtube videos, but have no idea how to do that.
Still missing a bunch of music from the sound test menu but actually have like 300 billion HL so I can afford it, its just not showing up a bunch of the songs, which says I'm missing a few endings.. unfortunately the ending info on online guides I already have :x
Farming for stuff to make it easy to powerlevel. Tempted to start transmigrating my 9999 characters to try to skill them up more, but avoiding it until I pull out some of the high end weapons and armsmaster stats. Trying to find another super robo suit - exitted out at level 100 in my robo suit trying to find more awesome hands to steal with
400 hours into this game and I still haven't finished everything...
I'll be going back to costume quest soon, I need to find one costume and I'm finished again.

Well, I'm still playing Dark Souls 2! I decided to make a new character, buy the DLC and (fanfare please) actually took the plunge on doing some online gaming. Been having great fun helping people beat the bosses. Seeing everyone waving and cheering when the bosses go down is really great :D
Had a go at the first DLC Crown of the Sunken King and Holy moly -the enemies in this don't mess about! It wasn't too bad until I got to Elana, the Squalid Queen, but she gave me a royal thrashing. Took a few tries, but I got her eventually. It just goes to show - if in doubt, batter people over the head with a giant hammer.

I'm not always in the biggest hurry to be an early adopter of things.
I tried skyrim when it first came out and was disgusted by the consolized interface.
So I waited 3-4 months until they came out with SkyUI and now its a staple for me.
Any who,
I've finally moved on to CSS from 1.6,
seven years later.
:)
I like it.
Having a ball sharpening up my skills, although the bots are still handing me my axx.
I've been scouring gamebannana for all the best maps and best models and mods and swollen my install from 2 gigs to 14.
I tried CS:GO, but unfortunately for everything that I liked about it there was something I hated about it.
But what made me finally give up on it was the way they've made it intentionally difficult to add 3rd party maps except through their source store.
And some of the more sophisticated CSS maps I've found are as good looking as what GO has to offer IMO.
So I figure in 7 more years I might move on to GO after they've opened it up to freer modding and mapping there's some interface mods so that I dont have to be bombarded with news about things that they want me to buy every time I boot up the game.

Spent the evening being utterly brutalized by the Fume Knight in the Dark Souls 2 DLC 'Crown of the Old Iron King', And eventually I had to concede defeat - I didn't even have enough spirit left in me for it to count as a proper ragequit. The fight is utterly insane. I can manage the first half okay, but as soon as he powers up its a different story. A short story that goes something like 'You Died'. I could of course summon help, but my pride won't let me. I just can't bear to break my code of not summoning other players now (especially since I soloed Elana, Sihn and the Blue Smelter Demon), but I have to accept that I just can't do damage anywhere near fast enough to live with his crazy powerful attack patterns in the latter half of the fight. Oh well, maybe I'll get around to New Game plus sometime and try it again sometime later.
So... really deflated right now.
It does give me some crumbs of comfort to read that the success ratio against this boss is a miserable 7% worldwide! Just 7% of people who attempt the fight have won... and now I know why. At least I can say that I was involved in a victory against him (I helped another player kill him before I even attempted to kill him myself!) But in my gaming world... he's got my number. Gah, the bitter taste of defeat... damn youuuu, Dark souuulls!

The fights are just as good as I remember, with more environment kills adding more enjoyment to the game for me. The driving is still the same as in the Xbox 360/PS3 versions, so it's taking me a bit of time to get back into the swing of things there (still think the motorcycle is the best way to get around Hong Kong).

Solid budget game, nothing extraordinary, but a VERY solid B+.
The game play is good, the story is...okay, the graphics are solid, the music/sounds are work out, and now I want a Pro-Bending game.

Having basically killed everything and reached a truly mighty soul level of around 250, I'm ready to consider moving on from Dark Souls 2. With all the 3 DLCs done and dusted, I don't really have much else that I can do. But yeah, that game's real good.
Just started The Evil Within, and it seems... okay. I'm only about an hour or so in. It isn't remotely scary, and the storytelling/characters/plot are not exactly filling me with confidence as to their quality/ But then again, the game also hasn't done anything to make an enemy of me yet either. I know some people are complaining about the letterbox big black bars, but they don't bother me in the slightest.
I guess I'm not sure what I think about the game yet, other than I really wish they'd let me get to know my character Sebastian a bit more. I want to like him, I do kind of like him, but I feel like he's not getting enough lines, considering he's not actually a silent protagonist. Also (and this might sound a bit odd considering its Halloween soon), I'm just not really in the mood for survival horror right now.
What I really want to play is Bayonetta 2, but there's no way I'm buying a Wii U just for that.

TIE Fighter rules. It will always be with me... forever.
Still hammering away at The Evil Within. I have to say that though this game isn't perfect by any means, I think some of the critics have been (unusually for them), extremely harsh. There are some odd design choices now and then, the plot and characters are acceptable at best, and some sections really push it with the trial and error gameplay.
But even so, its a good game IMO. At times it even feels like a great game. Combat is actually really fun when you get into it, because the survival horror aspect is not just a marketing slogan for once. Ammo is scarce, but if you use it wisely, make good use of your AOE weapons to catch bunches of monsters then burn em all at once, mix in some stealth kills... its good, intense fun. And sure, it isn't the scariest game ever, but some of the scenes in the hospital place where Seb goes to power up, have been scarier than anything I saw in RE4. Frankly I'd take this game over RE4 any day of the week.
It has its problems, and they aren't trivial ones. But the critics are really laying the boot in, and a lot of much worse games get away with much lighter treatment from them. TEW is about as good as I could have hoped for. Shinji's still got it!

Well there's also the fact that the Ivory King fight is easily one of the best sources of souls for high level (200+) characters in the game. About Alpha Protocol though...
Man there's some serious Yellow Journalism outhere. I mean, this game got SMOKED by every magazine and so called "game-journalists" and reviewers...
Really unfair things were said, and the AI nowhere near as bad as they made it out to be. As if MGS had any coherent AI whatsoever in any game.
AP has one of the best Level-Design I ever saw in the past 9 years.
And the story and dialogue is by far it's best feature. This game dared to waltz into the fire and took many risks with it's approach.

To be fair to the critics, I think they had some justification about Alpha Protocol, at least in terms of gameplay. The actual gameplay is nowhere near as polished as it really needed to be. That's a budget issue mostly though, and out of Obsidian's hands. Basically they had 2 choices - make the ambitious spy RPG that they wanted to make, or compromise and produce something less interesting that would have worked properly within the budget they had.
Some may say they may the wrong choice, but I support it. As I've said many times, I would rather play a game that interests me and grips me, even if it only works as intended 50% of the time, over a game that bores me to death, but which looks and plays like a dream 100% of the time. There's more to a good game than graphics and controls, *but* if a game doesn't have them (as AP frequently doesn't), then its going to have a really tough time convincing most people to play it, no matter how great an experience it is.
Many of the (British) critics I read at the time, did actually like the world, story and characters, along with the generally excellent standard of the writing. But the presentation, graphics and controls... I'm not happy that a game like this can't get a break from at least some critics, but I guess I can see why they rated it as they did. The brutal truth is that to sell copies and generate goodwill on a large scale, a game has to look and play the part. Don't get me wrong - I think people who judge games in those terms missed a *fantastic* game in Alpha Protocol, but that's just the way it goes unfortunately.
Sega just seem to be cursed these days. Look at some of the games they've developed and published in recent times - Alpha Protocol, Vanquish, Bayonetta 1, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Valkyria Chronicles... Not a dud among them - all fabulous games, but none of them were a sales hit. And that's on top of the premature failure of the Dreamcast (which I still consider to be the best console of its generation).
It sucks, but again that's just the way the cookie crumbles...

Like I say, I love that game too. But in terms of gameplay, I consider Deus Ex: Human Revolution or the original Perfect Dark to be a better spy thriller (again, just in terms of gameplay - NOT story!)
That said, Elvis was pretty rad... :D
Basically, I loved AP's story, world and characters, but I don't really like *playing* the game all that much. I still consider it to be a great game, and I care about it more than I do Human Revolution or PD. But even as someone who usually doesn't really care that much about the gameplay in RPGs particularly, I thought AP's gameplay was pretty weak.

Personally, I will not be fair to the critics when they flatout give it a 2/10 because some bugs (which they're not very intrussive compared to... Oblivion) and because the AI stutters or does not respond logically.
The controls are just fine, when you have "poor" controls and good lvl design you have, Castlevania, not bad game at all.
That being said, AP doesn't have bad or poor controls, it needed some polishing, yeah. But I really loved the Missions, the Enemy Positioning, the environment in general showed some real love.
But being the first game of what, at the time , was a possible franchise. It caught me off-guard. The game isn't half as broken as they made it out to be.
The game is really forgiving and the boss fights were really well designed and challenging. You can be really methodical. I think people who come from ME felt whiplashed by the bosses in AP.
I find the gameplay kindof addictive too. I don't know how you've built Thorton, but I went kung-fu on their asses. And it was fucking badass and amazing.
And really the graphics were bashed? Men... what can I say, to me the graphics still holds to this day. Gaming culture these days is embarassing.

Well, any critic that gives 2/10 to pretty much any game that isn't some Steam trash, is pretty dodgy anyway. I'd be very suspicious of what such a critic had to say about anything, to be honest. 2/10 is the kind of score that should be reserved for games that literally do not work, that constantly crash and where controls do something different to what they are supposed to etc.
My point was that the critics that I saw didn't react this way to the game - they mostly gave it scores ranging in the 5-6 of 10 bracket, and that I think is fair enough from a technical standpoint. I would simply argue that judging any RPG purely on technical issues is pure folly, as their strengths usually lie elsewhere than the gameplay and controls. I don't often agree with critics, but AP is the kind of Mid-Tier game (in terms of production values and level of gamer interest/anticipation) that you can usually get a reasonably honest answer out of them. Because if a game isn't a really big AAA game, they don't have to worry about upsetting people if they say bad things about it, and are unlikely to have been overly 'incentivised' by the publisher to praise it etc - they save that kind of bribery for their AAA games).
We'll have to agree to disagree on the controls and gameplay in AP. Like I say, I love that game but I consider the gameplay to be deeply flawed. I usually take a martial arts character, because I have no faith in the shooting in that game, nor the stealth (as well as the fact that the sneaking animation looks utterly ridiculous, like he's some sort of scuttling rodent). Much easier and more reliable to simply run up and whack the enemies in close combat - that at least does work properly.
I really love the game, and I hoped for a sequel too. But the fact is that whilst I loved the overall experience, the gameplay itself has put me off playing the game in the way I replay other favourite RPGs (which despite their length, I've played dozens and dozens of times).

Check Destructoid. They smoked the game.
Also other Reviewers (Angry Joe, IGN, Gamespot) felt like they didn't actually took the time to explore the game.

I think the game was a 7/10 all things considered, accentuating it's negativities. The Dialogue System and it's save system is so inviting of Replayability that I reloaded same save games many times to see how the paths branched. And it also was amazing to see that YOUR CHOICES ACTUALLY HAD AN EFFECT.
Compare to most games so far as 2010 goes, it was one faction or the other most of the time.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the controls and gameplay in AP. Like I say, I love that game but I consider the gameplay to be deeply flawed. I guess so...
The shooting is pretty dodgy, specially in early game. I contribute that to the case of trying to blend RPG elements with the shooting. They didn't know how to combine that, and it shows.
But when you max your weapon of choice it works pretty well i dare say. And as usual, with the RPG elements, the shotgun is bullshit. But hey, Vincent Limit Breaks in FF7 weren't any useful too right?.
The Assault Rifle works pretty fine though. I have no quarrels with that weapon, even in early game it works properly. Maybe it takes a bit too long to charge the precision shots.
I don't know, I'll have to disagree with the stealth. I had more fun with Stealth in this game than with MGS3 so far. Evasion makes things really forgiving and Shadow Operative is downright broken. But it serves it's purpose pretty well.
I really love the game, and I hoped for a sequel too. But the fact is that whilst I loved the overall experience, the gameplay itself has put me off playing the game in the way I replay other favourite RPGs (which despite their length, I've played dozens and dozens of times).
I seriously hope for a sequel too. Or at least a Spiritual Successor with another Publisher.

Well, I never pay attention to what IGN, Gamespot and Destructoid have to say anyway. They simply have too many vested interests and have been caught numerous times falsifying reviews and blatantly showing favoritism to industry big hitters who can afford (what is effectively) bribery.
The point with AP, is that if Sega hadn't tried to over hype it, and make out like it was going to be this AAA James Bond/Jack Bauer simulator (the first time I ever heard of this game was when an excitable friend who likes that sort of thing, enthused about it as we were riding on the bus one morning). At the time, I dismissed it because such AAA stuff rarely interests me. I only became interested when I found out Obsidian were involved. Even then I managed my expectations as I always do, but most people (my friend included) do not do this, and always buy into industry hype.
It was hyped up to be something it wasn't. He hated the game, I loved it. The tale of this industry right there.

There is Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising on the GBA, and two more AW games on the DS if you haven't played them yet.
There's also the spin-off Battalion Wars for the Gamecube and a sequel to that on the Wii, but they play much differently.

A new Advance Wars would be pretty cool. I have played the first two but not the DS ones. I should probably fix that some day, but playing AW2 just reminded me of how much I suck at strategy games. It was an all-around frustrating experience lol.
If you're really itching for some more AW, there might be a fan translation of the older ones before the GBA that were never released outside of Japan. I don't know if they exist though.
Played some Smash 4 with my younger bro today. He's a lot better than me now because I mostly stick to the single player stuff but he has over 1000 battles in For Glory, which is about 100x more than I have lmao...

Advance Wars: Dual Strike is okay and has some interesting new mechanics, but the Tag Power system is just broken. If both your COs level up their power meter, then they both get to have a turn one after the other, reactivating all your units to move and act again! Do this with characters like Eagle who has a power to then have *another* turn and it just gets crazy! Its a great game, but the new characters aren't that good, not all the old characters are in it, and the new enemies are a bit 'meh' (except Jugger, who is the best character in the game).
Days of Ruin (or Dark Conflict depending on where you live) is a bit more hardcore in every sense. Its set in a different world, isn't really played for laughs anymore and is much harder. Its still a great game, but its very different to the previous games. There also isn't much choice of COs - the cast is large, but you only use a few of the COs with any regularity (which to be fair is like the first Advance Wars, but Andy, Max and Sami are much more fun than the Dark Conflict bunch IMO).
I want an Advance Wars where you can fight space battles and have starships, jetpack soldiers as units etc etc, and also have groundside missions that are similar to the older games (with tanks, planes etc). Sturm was from outer space, so why not? In recent times, we had Fire Emblem: Awakening from the same guys, which was a fine game but not as engaging as Advance Wars IMO.

I like escort missions, if they're done right. Heck, I didn't even have any complaints in RE 4 when you escorted Ashley. But if the AI isn't competent to stay out of harm's way, and/or if you can't tell the escorted person what to do(like hold position, hide here, hide there), it's automatically not a fun escort mission, imo.

The thing is, you young 'uns probably don't have the horrific traumas that us 'seasoned campaigners' have. You know how old time gamers are always bellyaching about how games used to be harder back in 'the olden times'?
Well, escort missions are a prime example. Games like X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Goldeneye 007, Wing Commander etc etc were all sensational games, but they also had some of the most brutally hard escort missions you can imagine. Trying to defend Natalya as she works on the computer in the Control Center on 007 difficulty ranks as one of the most excrutiatingly hard thing I've ever done in any game. And the sight of a wing of Jalthi blowing up my Draymen transports at the end of a long and arduous mission in Wing Commander, when I'm almost back to The Tiger's Claw... it haunts my dreams to this day :D
There are just no words to describe the hours and *days* and *months* of torment, escort missions gave me in games like this. The games were fantastic, so you had to keep playing, but you would fail again and again and again and again and again and again...
And again and again and again and again and again...
:D I miss a lot of things about how gaming used to be, but this is one thing that I am happy to have stay in the past. Escort missions are still a royal pain, but they're nowhere near as irritating as they used to be (though there are still some throwbacks).
Darth Revan

I found the Escort missions in X-Wing and TIE Fighter to be rather... fun... Of course in the latter I flew in a TIE Defender or Missile Gunboat (With max load of Advance Concussion Missiles) and it was difficult, but still fun.
Escort missions, can be terrible I admit... I've been in some bad ones in the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors games, but one of the worst was in Vandal Hearts. The target had low HP and was one shotted by a archer class first time. Second time, mage blasted them... In the end just had my mage Zohar, Phase Shift the damn battlefield then zerged them.

Well, if I ever meet the guy who programmed Bhurak Starkiller's AI in Wing Commander, then I'm going to invent my own 'SAW' style torture chamber and get payback, I swear it :D
And the challenge to be let free? Well, isn't it obvious? I'd let him out if he can kill Starkiller and keep his transports alive on that f**king impossible mission he created! Otherwise, he's going to find out exactly how much pain he put me through... :D All for a lousy medal, but I *had* to do it! That game nearly drove me insane at times, and most of it was down to damned escort missions! Here are the Kilrathi in their super quick, super punishing ships and here's my slow ass, weak armour transports that I have to defend *all* of...
I'm gripping the sides of my keyboard in anger just remembering it :D

She stands at the computer decrypting for like 5 minutes of real time, not moving even when grenades are thrown at her feet (in which case she's dead and you fail). You have to frantically run about killing respawning guys for that whole time, and they focus pretty much solely on her. So whilst its easy to kill them, its just insane because hse dies so easily. And they come on lower and upper levels of that room (which is pretty open anyway).
And that's just one section of the level - you still have all the rest of it to do after that! On 007, it was just crazy hard.

Deal with the guards following you with a combination of smoke grenades, thermal googles and Mk22 = what's supposed to be an annoying part becomes a walk in the park. I'd say that out of all the main chapters, Snake Eater had at least the best balance between actual gameplay and cutscenes. Sons of Liberty+Guns of the Patriots, on the other hand… Apart from that, I've personally enjoyed Eater's setting and having to rely on camouflage. The Soliton Radar makes things way too easy.
Currently playing through PEACE WALKER HD EDITION, Ashley Wood's art is awesome, but other than that, meh. I'm glad I've put all that grinding and vehicles battles behind me. Guns of the Patriots is the worst entry in the series, an interactive movie dedicated only to those who "jerk" off to the saga's plot, it's best to pretend it didn't happen. Up until that thing, what I've appreciated most about the saga was the freedom it gave to the player, in choosing how to deal with most situations throughout the game(s), as far as the stealth-genre is concerned, that is.

Real men play without play in Extreme without Radar.
I thought that the gameplay in MGS3 was so jarring that it has the most boring boss fights in the series. The Health System is one of the biggest failures.
Camouflage was ok. If only you hadn't have to enter a stupid menu (with long loading time) every time you change terrain.

I guess that's the final verdict on the dis likable things in the series. I enjoy the series point up to a certain point. I agree that there was far too many retconned story arc's and "nanomachines" that I listen people complain about. Which I agree, again, to a certain degree. After 2 & 3 (specially 3) I think it's kind of stupid to get mad a game to pull stuff like that on it's storyline.
To me 4 if it had the ending were Snake and Otacon were executed as it was originally planned. It would've served as a nice conclusion to the series. Instead it got kinda ruined or to say the least unsatisfying conclusion to me. But I still enjoyed it a lot more than 3 or 2.
As far as gameplay goes in 4, I think it had some beautiful levels. Specially the first Infiltration sequence on the final Act.

I don't even want to think about what MGS 2 and 3 must be likem if MGS 4 is better than them! (I have played a little of both 2 and 3, but only on other people's consoles and couldn't give full attention etc etc).
The first MGS was okay, but not really my kind of thing. The fourth game was so bloated and pleased with itself, that it frequently seemed to forget to be a game at all. I just don't find it as hilarious when Snake hides under cardboard boxes and oil cans as other people seem to. To me, it just seems lame and makes the idea of Snake being some kind of hardcore badass farcical if he's scuttling around like this.

I think the snake in a box thing became a joke when snake got introduced into Super Smash Bros. Finally, I 100% completed KUF: Circle of Doom. Encablossa was a BITCH on Extreme difficulty. Gonna play Battlefield Hardline Beta, if it's still running.

Still Kingdom Hearts II Final mix.
Finally figured out how to level up limit form. (I'm so stupid, for the longest time I thought it was just finishing a regular attack combo with limit form, not actually use a Limit Attack and finish with it [and when I did figure it out I didn't let go of L1 after starting the move])

Finally got one of the true endings to Ar Tonelico Qoga. Going to either play Darksiders next, or try Zone of the Enders 2 again.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
Doing the Mushrooms (Mushroom XIII) I did hours ago again cause the surge protector went out and I didn't save. (the socket is bad.) It's not so bad the second time around though...since I learned what to do.

Currently on Dark Souls 2
I met the Scholar of the First Sin and it told me to meet King Vendrick, but unfortunately, I did the quest line involving the crowns DLCs and I can't go back to him, which means I have to do New Game ++ since I already finished New Game +. >_<
On the bright side, I finally beat those two black sabertooth tigers at the Frigid Outskirts. I couldn't beat them(despite having help with summoned NPCs) in the first New Game, but I finally beat them with the help of the summoned NPCs. :D

The first meeting with the scholar frightened the life out of me - I had no idea such a thing had been added. I was playing through again a couple of days ago, was happily gloating over an easy victory against Freya, and then BOOM - I'm sent flying across the room and stare in utter terror as this giant... thing, rises out of the ground in flame and fury, which hadn't happed before in 4 previous playthroughs!
It was awesome :D

Internet browser wise: Shadowbound...finally won a single server branch of a cross server tourney...against a guild mate. We fought hard to the end...constantly changing formations, but in the end I came out victorious (despite our huge raw power numbers [Battle Ratings] being kinda close [10,000 difference]). I also got married (in game) to the other deputy of my guild).

My cousin let me play through his Pokmon Alpha Sapphire. I'm making it more challenging by not using starters or mega-evolutions, and keeping the (broken) Exp. Share off. Currently have 3 badges.

Digimon All-Star Rumble on the Xbox 360. I'm going for all the acheivements, digimon cards, and alt evos! I can actually unlock all the stuff for the fighters compared to Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

I began my HUNTER journey in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for 3DS. I have always disliked MonHuns but for some reason I find the latest iteration very compelling...

100% completed Assassin's Creed: Unity yesterday. Going to get started on Resident Evil: Dead Aim.
Edit: Just finished it. Wow, I have to say, this was the shortest Resident Evil game I've ever played. Still, pretty good game, imo. :)

Darksiders. It's alright. Zelda-like with more combat, but it got old pretty fast. Also SO EDGY.

Playing FINAL FANTASY XIII-2, and I think I finally love it. I have had the game for ages, but I always gave up almost instantly after starting. Now, after playing it more. it's getting more and more better.

All JRPGs are like that IMO Lefance - they have an all action intro, then a deathly pain barrier of anywhere up to 8-10 hours where basically nothing happens as you try desperately to escape from 'Startville', before the games finally burst into life. 13-2 doesn't really get going until the first time jump to the ruins where that giant hand attacks you.
But from there on, the game rules. And the pain barrier in 13-2 is actually only a couple of hours (though it sure feels like more... New Bodhum... doing odd jobs and looking for cats in town... arrrrrrggh!) Reminds me of Kingdom Hearts 2, and that seemingly never ending section at the start in Twilight Town. If I never see 'The Usual Spot' again, it will be too soon!

As I finally got my Stardust Rod Animus in Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn, decided to take a break and play Agarest Generations of War. Always liked TRPG's, starting with Mystaria Realms of Lore on Sega Saturn and Vandal Hearts on PSX... and as I haven't played one in ages, this should be good.
