No it didn't. The game still costs like 20 bucks, but if you want online it's an additional 15 seprate or 30 total for the game and online add-on.

No. Bland story. Boring combat (play Legends of Dragoon or DDR). Shit voice acting. And fucking Rug Rats. Let's just face it, it's awful, but gets your nostalgia glands going for other shitty games, like FFX.

I agree about the motorcycle chase, but the tracking mission was fucking hell.

I've gotten back into COD4 a bit now. I play it about an hour a day, if that, so still not playing much. I'm still awesome at it though lol.

I'm still playing the same games intermittently. Persona 4 plays well so far. It's still enjoyable despite the fact that it hasn't much improved on P3's style of gameplay. But P3 played well enough so I suppose I can't complain too much anyway. I hope the English version comes with the soundtrack as well.

So far I really like Crysis. It's too hard though. Since the game is basically a big sand box of wild physics you'd think Easy would make you invincible, but I still die when I punch a car and it explodes.

Started a new game of Crisis Core today, just for kicks.

Right now i'm altering between Megaman Anniversary Collection (Plan to finish 1-8 before 9 comes out on PSN) and Assassins Creed. (Amazing game so far)

Both games got great reviews everywhere, and both have completely different ambiances. Fable 2 is more lighthearted and has an enchanting world of the kind I really enjoy. While Fallout 3 has a unique mood and a supposedly great story with character interaction similar to those in Mass Effect, which I think is a neat approach.

Based on the reviews I read, here are your choices.

Fable 2: is a much improved version of the first game. The choices you make have an effect down the road that is unforeseen and believable.

Fallout 3: Is basically Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic world with guns. It has some of the Fallout themes, but it's not like the past games.

If I had to choose, I'd get Fallout 3. I haven't played Oblivion, so I don't care about the comparisons. Fable 2 is too Euro-raunchy for my taste. (meaning it has a lot of dirty British humor)

I'll get my grubby paws on Fallout 3 soon enough, but Fable 2 has my attention at the moment. For the most part, I like it a lot. Oh, there are a few piddling little issues here and there, but nothing that badly detracts from the experience.

...I take that back. There is one major issue. One horrendous issue.

When I play a 3rd person game, if it gives me a choice, I always choose a female character. The reason is that I figure if I'm going to spend 20+ hours staring at a character's backside, I don't want it to be man-ass. But with Fable 2, while this plan started out well enough, a problem soon appeared. As I built up the strength stats of my moderately attractive female character, she transformed into a steroid-enhanced Bride of Frankenstein. Now I either have to find a way to live with this horror or roll a male character to complete the game at the risk of discovering the dreaded inner poofter.

Started playing my old NES games - Maniac Mansion, Double Dragon 2 and the first Zelda. Such old games are indeed timeless and always fun to play.

I also have to finish Disgaea 3, Twilight Princess and a session of Metroid Prime 1 - 3... still too much to do... :)

Fallout 3 is here...

...and it feels a lot like a glorified mod of Oblivion, which it probably is, technically. But the story is thus far, more personal than an Elder Scrolls. I've only just arrived in the wastes, but the Vault 101 story really set the tone for my character's determination. Good job so far. I'd definitely recommend.

Mega Man 9 and an obscene amount of Team Fortress 2.

I finally went for Fable 2 over Fallout 3.

Not really by choice mind you. I went to the local stores here and the only Fallout 3 they had was the French version. And I didn't want to take the chance to get a poorly acted version of the game. The store rep told me they would receive more copies of the English version in like a week, but I didn't want to wait that long so I went for my second choice.

I think it's a good thing though. Since Fallout 3 got even better reviews and most people already playing it here have been saying many great things about it. Fable 2 is a bit more of the same when compared to its predecessor, but with much more refinement, better controls, and more choices (Albion is also a sight to behold with that much details! Even if a more constant framerate would have been welcome).

So far I'm having a blast, even if I prefer when a game have a deeper narrative.

My guess is that I'll find that in Fallout 3.


So in the end, I chose the shorter, less engaging game first, then I'll attack the bigger beast.

Tales of the Abyss, I just figured out how gay the PS3's compatibility is, I was stuck at coral castle wondering why it kept freezing at the entrance. Yeah, the controller won't work in that level. I say the PS3 is the worst system I have ever seen, please take note I have seen systems that doesn't even sell more than 500 units.

Almost true, except it was the compatibility issues that got me in that situaiton in the firs tplace, sony shouldn't be releasing glitched systems without fixing the damn glitches. Not to mention the PS3 was hooked up to a better tv...the other has static v.v

First, everyone knows the original 60gb and 20gb PS3s had the actual hardware necessary to play PS2 games, known as the Emotion Engine. The PS2 components were removed due to high production cost and now all PS3s emulate PS2 games. Since when has emulation been perfect?

Second, you're telling me switching cables is impossible?

The old 40 gb PS3 and the current 80 gb PS3 don't allow any backward compatibility. Be it hardware or emulation.


And yeah... The best PS3 ever was the original 60 gb version. I can't even upscale my PS2 games using the PS3 since mine doesn't have any backward compatibility. So it looks "muddy" on my 1080p set. -_-

Nope, its working fine now and I'm much farther in abyss, and no I cannot because the other tv won't accept my PS2. Nextly, have a PS3 that is compatible with MOST PS2 games (i.e. I beat dirge of the cerberus with it, had some minor running issues though) and it may be a controller glitch since everything else besides my character was working.

It's been a while since I played a Street Fighter game... I still play some Alpha 3 from time to time, but in a casual way since I have nobody to play against (none of my friends, except for one that I don't see as often as I used to, are into that kind of game...) so I enjoy the difficulty of that remake. There are so many things that I'm used to that aren't present in this older game, like air block and many juggle moves that aren't present anymore.

I have to adapt myself greatly since it's a throw back to an older age, even if it's been updated. I'm considering getting a Gold membership to compete online. If you have the game, feel free to add me. My nick is the same on Live.

Right now i'm stuck between the worlds of Team Fortress 2, Kingdom Hearts and Tenchu Wrath of Heaven.

I honestly left off on WoH a while ago because of interests in other games. AND THAT THE TRAP CASTLE CAN KISS MY ASS. I just started playing it again last night and started to remember how much i hated that stage so much. Dodge so many traps and super strong enemies only to fall through a fucking randomly placed trap floor. There is no way to ever see them coming because they are never in the same place. That game deserves it's M rating. Not so much for the blood and killing, but the fact that if any CHILD lacking patience was playing this game they'd commit suicide.
