Too many QTEs, not enough Ashley screaming for Leon's help. I will say I dig the part where they cover Turok's shift to help take down that giant dinosaur, however, while Turok is on vacation in Hawaii. Definitely not as bad a game as its reputation would suggest. RE6 takes all the hatred, vitriol and flack that RE5 so fervently warrants. How can you beat diverolling into a swarm of the undead, guns-a-blazing?

My training with the REMAKE of RE2 is coming along nicely.
Also wanted to say that CAPCOM started to sell a DLC which unlocks stuff like the Rocket Launcher with infinite ammunition (previously, you had to earn a "S+" rank on Hardcore difficulty to get that), among other things, like 4th Survivor mode (the DLC should be available on every PS Store, Xbox Marketplace and Steam). Mwahahahah! The fact they haven't stopped doing what started with Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition (and later continued with Devil May Cry 5) is amusing.
Well, earning all trophies/achievements still requires players to actually learn how to play the game a fair bit (especially the ones requiring "you" to not use healing items, nor open the Item Box… Also, while we're on the subject, not being able to access the Item Box means not being able to use special weapons with infinite ammo).
While I'm sure some won't be happy about this… "Shortcut" now being available, I'm not bothered by it: if you want to do things on your own, hey! You still can! No one is forcing you to buy the "Unlock DLC". Besides, back in the old days we kinda bought cheat codes, anyway… We'd find them on gaming magazines and/or strategy guides (sometimes bundled with the former).

Finally managed to get inside the building in Resident Evil 2 labeled, 'RPD'. I wasn't sure what the game was trying to prompt me to do there. I mean, entering someone else's property is burglary, isn't it? So, you can imagine my confusion when the game simply cornered me behind a gate, with no way forward but to burglarise someone else's estate. Realising this is only a virtual experience, I decided I'd risk it. Breath bated, my conscience on fire, I proceeded to navigate my digital character forward until he/she (not about to start assuming genders in 2019) edged them open.
Upon arriving inside, it became increasingly clear to me that the dwelling's occupants were preparing to vacate the property, as belongings of every sort were piled about. I'd just entered someone else's home in the midst of a move. How callous could I be? Truly feeling the guilt and remorse for my actions, I turned right back around and returned to the gated vestibule, where I resigned myself to a dark, wet corner to stew in my own selfishness.
I returned the game today, having struck a deal with the devil and welcomed bad Karma with neon lights for having intruded so nefariously. However, I will never forget the time I spent with this intriguing tale, and the meaning behind this short, yet impactful story. Hopefully when part 3 turns up on shelves (I'm seeing a tentative release date of 22 September, 1999, folks; write it down) I won't be put into a moral dilemma where continuing my nighttime jog ends at being forced to burgle someone's dwelling.

Decided to start doing single character challenges for FFX. Tidus actually was easier than playing with everyone overall. Took me at least 12 hours less too. Now I'm doing Kimahri, and it's so much more annoying than I thought it would be. Someone on the gamefaq board is doing a Tidus/Yuna challenge, so I'm gonna do that next, sticking to their own sphere grid. I think that'll be easy-peasy. Then Rikku only, Lulu/Wakka, and Auron only. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Rikku only one, since I'm not redoing the beginning, just gonna reload from the Moonflow just before she joins the party for good. I'm tired of having to do the Jecht shot/Blitzball tournament over and over again.

Currently on my second run of Rammstein: The New Sclerosis for my Nintendo Entertainment System. It's the sequel to Rammstein: The New Border, where our hero, Tiny-Willie, has to secure the Mexico-Texas frontier against the tyranny of Los Zetas, who in this alternate timeline, won World War I.
I'm really liking the fictional history behind this title, and its ability to thrust us hard into its magical world of wizardry and dragon-slaying. In this iteration of the world, America has been reduced to an irradiated wasteland, where the only survivors come out of Vault-Tec vaults funded by Trinity, all the way from the Isle of Yamatai. Tiny-Willie will embark on a heart-wrenching journey through the toxic hills, dales, and molehills of his former homeland to wage war against the evil Zetas mastermind, Fraud Angle. Between Tiny-Willie and his ragtag band of space pirates onboard Ava's Hummer, justice will prevail as they travel the North American countryside in search of his quarry as they attempt to right the wrongs of the Third Hike.
I think that's the story, anyway. At any rate, it's a real thrill ride! Get your hands on this gaming gem today!

I just finished Days gone on PS4. A good open world with a good story and plenty of cliffhangers.
That said, there are bugs and slowdowns (I'm using Patch 1.10...) , but all the environment is "coherent" : predators will chase preys, enemies have to fight some wild beats and the weather (like the day and night) can change quickly.
Maybe it's a good game, now, with enough patch (more coming..) and the digital "special price" of E3 .....

I decided I'd pick up a copy of this title called, "Arachnid-Gent" for the Playstation ver. 4.0. It's aight. Lil' pitchy tho, dog.
The ability to swing around between the skyscrapers of Jew York City is in itself a rather adrenaline-pumping experience, but the side quests where Mary Juana Watson hits you up for a booty call get a bit tedious. The button-mashing sequences where you're prompted to do it faster and faster tend to drudge up a bit of a cramp in the digits. Oh, and don't even get me started on those fetch-quests given by purple-haired vixen Screwoff. Definitely not the type to take home to meet mum.
I did like the constant appearances of longtime Spidey baddies like the Joker and the Riddler, though. Those bastardly dastards never cease to amaze with their wide range of antics. The first DLC, featuring Catwoman, really had me on the edge of my seat. So, this feline femme fatale really only ever wanted to steal a lifetime supply of laser pointers? Clever moppets, those pencil-pushers over at Insomniac. The plot twists never get stale. The cleverest of all, of course, is when we learn at the end that Doctor Squid is actually Uncle Ben in disguise; and here I thought they wouldn't be cheap enough to go that route.
All in all, if you're among those lucky enough to have upgraded your Playstation ver. 3.0 to a ver. 4.0, and weren't conned into one of those always-on BoxX gaming consoles, this ought to be right up your alley! Pick up your copy now!

A younger family member recently finished another 365-day cycle since birth, and I decided to purchase for this family member "Super Mario Personal Creation Simulation Ver. 2.0" for the Nintendo Change gaming system. However, I find myself dabbling in this technological feat more so than he does, as I plan to profit from my custom challenges. I mean, they literally handed me the tools to create my own video-based gaming software, so what could go wrong? Hopefully this toy company known as Nintendo doesn't decide to press charges, or even worse, ban me for 3 days. Time will tell!

Well, not currently "gaming", but the last video-game I indulged in was this little number called Miniature Bad Dreams for the DOS family computer. Yeah, it's a rather whimsical little bit about a wee lass in a yellow raincoat with an insatiable hunger, who learns while infiltrating an American Golden Corral restaurant that it's okay to give in to your base primal instincts. On my 1rd playthrough, I was like a fish out of water. By my 2st, I knew my course. But once I arrived at my 3nd, I had this in the bag.
It's a rather insightful little journey into the true effects of binging on red meats, this one - one that left me feeling rather gluttonous merely for snacking on some cold curry prior to "gaming". Our young heroine in the yellow raincoat must brave the bowels of the Titanic, and its unsightly crew of mentally inept upkeep maintenance associates. I found it especially spellbinding how these people with their button eyes are actually young Coraline's...oh, drat. Wrong outing. As for Miniature Bad Dreams, well, the moral of the story is...don't overeat? Don't disturb the cooks when they're raising a feast for hordes of greedy 'Murican tourists? Don't fall into the stewpot? It's difficult to put it in a word, but I would say that the moral is rather obvious: GNOMES NEED LOVE TOO.
All in all, in conclusion, to sum it up, Coraline was a fantastic venture and one I'll not soon forget. You'd better pick up your copy soon, too, or I swear by all things holy, I will frown in disapproval! Does that sound like justice to you? Didn't think so. Hurry and collect yours today!

Recently I dabbled in a little piece of technological wonderment and fascination known to the world as Chronological Triggers, the heartwarming tale of a young millennial who finds himself lost in time. He sets out one day for the Faire for Millennials, where he meets the young damsel in distress, Marley (yes, from Marley & Me). Our fearless young dame has lost her jew-ler-y in the crowd, and tasks our valiant hero, Chrome, with escorting her to find it. But once they do, oh boy, it's a whirlwind of high stakes adventure from then on out.
Once the two call into the appraiser to see about her fine family heirloom, they discover it to actually be a cheap plastic knockoff made in China! I mean, wot m8?! Needless to say, the adventure comes to a screeching halt and the two are left crestfallen and disheveled as despair overtakes them. They really subverted my expectations, Rian Johnson style. Of course, the adventure is said to continue in the upcoming sequel, Chrono Crossword Extravaganza. Look for it in your nearest brain teaser book section at your local supermarket 18 November 1999! You'd better have that marked on your calendar, posthaste, or so help me, I will sulk.
