Regarding the design, Malboro takes this easily, in my opinion, even though I'm not a fan of it at all. I am, however, a fan of Little Shop of Horrors, so that may've helped the matter, too.

Come to think of it, Malboro fairly resemble the local Springfield psychiatrist, Dr. Marvin Monroe.

Tough choice. On one hand, Malboros reminds me of tantacle monsters, while the Cactrots have that priceless screaming look on their faces.
