Let's go ahead and end this one...
Grand Maester Mika - 1
The Turks - 8
Looks like we have an obvious winner, with Mika only managing to scrape a single vote. Next up...
Biggs and Wedge - Final Fantasy VIII (This comic duo first shows up to trouble your party at the top of the communication tower in Dollet. Biggs bears the general look of a Galbadian commander type, with Wedge bearing the look of regular Galbadian soldier. Biggs ignores Wedge's report of a monster-shaped shadow having been spotted and both later end up getting blown away by that monster. But when Squall and the party exit the tower, Biggs sends a little surprise after them in the form of the X-ATM092. Later on, Zell, Quistis and Selphie fight them in the D-District Prison and Biggs reveals that he's been demoted to a lieutenant. Finally, the party spots them in the Lunatic Pandora, where they contemplate quitting the army.)
vs.
Dycedarg Beoulve - Final Fantasy Tactics (Since I don't claim to know anything about Tactics, I'm just going to link to Final Fantasy Wiki's article on this character--

Sorry, Tactics fans. Good try, but it's Biggs and Wedge to the second round.
Trema - Final Fantasy X-2 (He was the original founder of the New Yevon party. You meet in the Infinity cloister of the Via Infinito and he turns out to be something of a nihilist. Toughest boss in the game, using strong physical attacks, Ultima, Meteor and other such dangerous stuff. The reward for beating him is very great-- the powerful Iron Duke accessory.)
vs.
Ultros - Final Fantasy VI (Or "Orthros" in the most recent translation, Final Fantasy VI Advance. An octopus who menaces your party at various points during the game. Although he sometimes something of a joke, he can be a very tough opponent. Says that he has more lives than he does arms. Relm once sketched his portrait. He ends up working as the receptionist in the Colosseum. He also cameos in a number of other FF games, as well as two non-FF titles.)

Hojo - Final Fantasy VII
Biggs and Wedge - Final Fantasy VIII
Cidolfus Demen Bunansa - Final Fantasy XII
BaGamnan - Final Fantasy XII
Ultros - Final Fantasy VI
The Turks - Final Fantasy VII
Remember, the above list is only for reference and you can check the updated status of the results on the first page, blah blah blah...
First battle of the second round...
Hojo - Final Fantasy VII (Hojo: "Ha, ha, ha... I offered the woman with my child to Professor Gast's Jenova Project. When Sephiroth was still in the womb, we took the cells of Jenova... HA, HA, HA!!" Cloud: "I can't believe you're the one who did this... The illusionary crime against Sephiroth..." Hojo: "Heee, hee, hee, hee! No, you're wrong! It's my desire as a scientist! Heee, hee, hee, hee! Next up...
Rufus Shinra - Final Fantasy VII (Barret: "You're only President 'cause yer old man died!" Rufus: "Correct. I'll let you hear my inauguration speech." "...Father tried to control the world with money, and that worked for him." "The people believed that Shinra would protect them." "Work at Shinra, get your pay. If terrorists attack, the Shinra army will help you." "It looked perfect on the outside. But I do things differently. I'll control the world with fear. It's too much to do it like my old man." "A little fear will control the minds of the common people. There's no reason to waste good money on them." -- Quote from PC version of the script)
vs.
Biggs and Wedge - Final Fantasy VIII (Man A: "Is this the cell with the uncooperative prisoners?" Mean Guy: "Yes, this is it. Please give 'em something to really complain about." Man B: "Should we be picking on prisoners so soon after getting' transferred here?" Man A: "Just be quiet, and let me handle this!" Mean Guy: "T-These are the prisoners, Lieutenant Biggs, Private Wedge." Zell: (Biggs? Wedge?) Zell, Selphie, Biggs and Wedge: "AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Biggs: "S-So we meet again! Now we'll teach you the lesson we should have taught you earlier! I know it might seem cowardly to fight unarmed prisoners... ...But I hope you appreciate our position. Hey, it's a dog eat do..." Wedge: "Uh, they are fully armed, sir..." Biggs: "W-WHAT!? H-Ho-How...? Ahh, hell with it! Let's go, Wedge! I was demoted because of you! I'm only a lieutenant now! I'll get my revenge!" Wedge: "O-Ouch! They're always trouble..." Biggs: "We're just getting started!" Wedge: "I don't wanna be demoted! ... ... W-Why...?" Biggs: "What's below lieutenant...?")

It's... a tie. Well, that was unexpected. People seemed to think that The Turks were the favored choice, but it looks like by going for the other, they managed to make it a tie situation. Well, in any round other than the first, we look to the votes from the first round to break the tie. So let's get the results...
Cidolfus Demen Bunansa - 8/13 - 62%
The Turks - 8/9 - 89%
So The Turks take this one by winning the tie-breaker. And that ends the second round, or quarter-finals. Let's move straight to the semi-finals! Here's what's left:
Emperor Gestahl - Final Fantasy VI
Rufus Shinra - Final Fantasy VII
Ultros - Final Fantasy VI
The Turks - Final Fantasy VII
Remember, that's only for reference and you can check the updated results in the first post of the thread. Looks like it's between VI and VII.
Two matches to determine the final of this edition! The first of those...
Emperor Gestahl - Final Fantasy VI (Gestahl: "Is there anything you wish to hear me say?" Party: "That your war's truly over." Gestahl: "I understand. I've ordered this war to be over! Now I must ask for a favor... After they devastated my Empire, the Espers headed northward, toward Crescent Island. They must be found...! We must tell them we're no longer their enemy. After all that I have put them through, it is up to me to set things right. This is why...I need to borrow Terra's power. Only Terra can bridge the gap between Esper and human.")
vs.
The Turks - Final Fantasy VII (Elena: "What are we going to do!? I think it's okay for you to ignore your orders now." Reno: "...Elena, don't act so weak." Rude: "We're Turks, Elena." Elena: "...Yes, sir. You're right." Rude: "Come on, we've got work to do." Reno: "I'm not really up for it, but..." Elena: "Our orders were to seek you out and... ...Kill. Our company may be in turmoil, but an order's an order. That's the will and spirit of the Turks! Believe it!" Cloud: "......" Elena: "What are you doing! Let's go!" Cloud: "Okay, let's end this." Yuna: (narrating) It probably doesn't have anything to do with the temples or the fiends, but there have been problems here, too. Seems some machina are on the rampage.
Rikku: Let's mangle those machina and take the reward!
Paine: Yuna?
Yuna: Let's do it! (narrating) Okay, sounds like it's Mission Time!
First battle:
Not-So-Slightly Off-Track - Final Fantasy VII (One of the Huge Materia missions in FFVII. The party must enter North Corel then make their way to the Mako Reactor, where the Shinra have taken control of a train and are using it to transport a Huge Materia. You must fight a thrilling series of battles and then stop the train. If you stop the train, you obtain the Huge Materia and the Ultima materia for free. If the train isn't stopped, then the Huge Materia is lost, Corel is wrecked and the Ultima materia costs 50,000 gil.)
vs.
What Do You Mean No Final Aeon?! - Final Fantasy X (The party must enter the temple at the ruins of Zanarkand and make their way through. Along the way, they encounter memories made by the pyreflies. The Cloister of Trials is a Tetris-like puzzle culminating in a boss fight. Bigger battle coming though-- you learn that there is no final aeon because in order to obtain the final aeon, one of the summoner's guardians must become the fayth for the final summoning. Yuna and her party put an end to this tradition by fighting and defeating the monstrous Yunalesca, who manages a total of three forms and stumps many a player with her Mega Death.)

So the VII mission had some support, but it looks like people really liked the Zanarkand/Yunalesca sequence.
Next up...
Bombing Mission - Final Fantasy VII (The opening of Final Fantasy VII. Cloud aids AVALANCHE in a mission blow up one of the life-sucking Mako reactors. You must make your way through the Mako reactor with the help of Biggs, Wedge and Jessie. Barret accompanies Cloud and together they take on the Guard Scorpion boss. It's then 10 minutes to make your out as fast as possible.)
vs.
Rescue at Lunatic Pandora - Final Fantasy VIII (Using the heavy artillery on the Ragnarok, Squall and co. bust their way in. It's a mission to rescue Ellone and then defeat Adel. Then, with Elle's help, time compression begins so the party go into the future to defeat Ultimecia. Final battle with Raijin and Fujin, followed by a battle with the Mobile Type 8. Afterward, Raijin and Fujin admit that they don't know what's going on with Seifer anymore and that it's sad they only have Squall to rely. Battle with Seifer, who's now styling himself as a young revolutionary, but gets defeated by Gilgamesh, assuming the party picked up Odin. Then, Squall kidnaps Rinoa and you have to defeat Adel to rescue her. Then, Ellone takes care of things and time compression begins.)

Save Princess Garnet / Dagger - Final Fantasy IX (Zidane, Vivi and Freya use the teleporters on the Red Rose to make their way to Alexandria Castle. There, they end up teaming up with Steiner, who still thinks that the whole thing with Brahne is a misunderstanding. But after a final duel with Beatrix, everyone sees the truth and the party must break out of Alexandria Castle. Beatrix joins the parties' side and together with Freya and Steiner fends off the Bandersnatch monsters. There's also a duel with Zorn and Thorn. Zidane and Dagger escape, but Dagger is left greatly shaken by the whole ordeal...)
vs.
Masterpiece Theater - Final Fantasy X-2 (This mission is to take on the Al Bhed's Experiment creation in Djose Temple. It's a fearsome machine and can be upgraded by digging for parts in the Bikanel Desert. It also uses a powerful and unique Blue Magic if fully upgraded. This one is doing fairly well in the X-2 Rumble, but how will it fare here?)

For up to date-edness. description of VI mission reminds of similar mission except fighting moogles? or was there just a moogle den south of the maze of soldiers or moogles helping in the battles in the maze? might not be describing in an easily understandable way..i think so..so then maybe just not the right game sequence.

Much closer this time. X-2 loses by just one vote, so some of the other X-2 Missions could still in with a chance.
Next we have...
Infiltrate the Missile Base - Final Fantasy VIII (The outcome considered ideal by the game is to make your way through as stealthily as possible, resulting in as much as a +2 rank increase. Selphie and any two party members other than Squall sneak into the missile base on a stolen Galbadian military vehicle. The mission? It's not like any other. It's not an order, nor a request from anyone. Trabia Garden has already been attacked and now the party is trying to stop a missile launch on Balamb Garden. By playing it cool, the party can avoid detection and screw around with the settings on the missile launcher, but are eventually discovered. Though they launch a self-destruct, the missiles will still launch and eventually miss Balamb Garden. If the player screws the stealth approach, then it's immediate battle followed by sneaking back into the base to fool with the settings. Fail to take care of it within the time limit and it's mission failure. FMV of destruction of Balamb Garden followed by Game Over.)
vs.
Operation Mi'ihen - Final Fantasy X (Beginning on the Mushroom Rock Road, the party follows Seymour and co. to the command center. Operation Mi'ihen is an ambitious attempt to combine Al Bhed machina weapons with fiends to lure Sin. However, both Kinoc and Auron seem to know that it's doomed to failure and, in the end, though the weapons have a strong effect on Sin, they fail it to destroy it or even do lasting damage and many are killed in the crossfire. The player's actions or inaction determine whether either Luzzu or Gatta survive.)

Next we have:
Underwater Exploits - Final Fantasy VII (Mission - sneak into the Junon Underwater Reactor and ultimately retrieve a huge materia. The party must make their way through the reactor, fighting soldiers and creatures of the deep. Ultimately, they run into Reno and Rude, whose priority is the Huge Materia and so they deploy the Carry Armor. The party continues and gains some cool items, then boards a submarine. You can either fight a group of soldiers-- the ones in fact you met during the parade sequence, or take them hostage. Then, it's up to Cloud to pilot the submarine in a mini-game-- take out the leader sub and the stolen sub is yours to keep plus you get the Huge Materia. Fail and no Huge Materia, but you still must go back to get a sub.)
vs.
Tourist Trap - Final Fantasy X-2 (The Cavern of the Stolen Fayth is the planned home to a Calm Lands attraction, but it's still infested with fiends and now there are people trapped there. You must rescue them and receive key items that let you move further in the cavern and gain bonus treasure. Ultimately, it's a fight with Yojimbo for Mission Complete.)

Everyone is running around joining either the Headmaster or Garden Master's side and Headmaster Cid is in hiding. The party can play things as they want, but eventually find Headmaster Cid and report on the missiles. You then gain access to the MD level and eventually discover the secret of the flying Garden, saving everyone from the missiles.)
vs.
Mission: Oeilvert - Final Fantasy IX (Oeilvert really isn't Kuja's kinda place, so he sends Zidane there because he knows he's too stupid to use magic. Along with chosen party members, Zorn and Thorn ferry the group there on the Hilda Garde. At Oeilvert, magic is sealed and the party discovers some secrets, then fights a tough boss, all to gain what Kuja was "harping about," the Gulug Stone.)

vs.
Infiltrate Bevelle - Final Fantasy X-2 (This just won the X-2 Rumble for Missions. How will it fare here. The party must infiltrate Bevelle, sneaking deep down into the depths. There, they find Baralai messing about and he takes them on. They then find that Vegnagun is gone and fight the possessed form of Bahamut in its place.
