Maybe I'm a Lion... it's not that annoying at all, but it'd my least favorite theme from FFVIII's endgame. Also I haven't played V anyway, I like CotBB but it's kind of hard to be annoyed by the V version of it when I haven't played it.

The opening arpeggio is impressive. The bass line is cool. The section from :27 to :31 actually sounds a lot like Maybe I'm a Lion, which is interesting. But, for me, the the trumpet sound...Ugh.

So dark and ominous. It perfectly fits the (apparently) merciless and powerful General Beatrix.

I remember spending HOURS trying to calibrate tower #7 all the way, but in all that time Paine's Theme didn't affect me at all. Sure it's nothing special, but it's by no means an earworm.

The Gold Saucer. Though both deserve to be here, I prefer to vote based on repetitiveness/headache factor, if I have to choose. Yeah, Real Emotion is the lesser of the evils.
