I Found GIMP Crap.

Completely (but respectfully) disagree. :)

Particularly for what it is (absolutely free), it works wonders.

Meh.

Gimp Was Even Slower For Me LOL And Paint Is A Simple Working Tool.

GIMP has never been slow for me (except when importing images in excess of 3,000 px wide). It's always worked very efficiently. Also, it's actually surprisingly complex and I'm sure I don't know the half of what's possible with it. It's certainly not simple! But when you get the hang of it, it's very easy to use.

Haha, well in my opinion it was a little too small. That's better, although like I said, I'd make the logo bigger and then the text could be a little bigger still.

But that's just what my eyes find pleasing. It's all down to personal preference, really.

Just got the most awesome present from another member: a transparent Hitman logo and a textless poster! Sully the logo was from the original poster and Mr. Gold tried to make a transparent logo himself but it didn't really work out as much as he wanted to, but now I can really get going on Hitman covers! I've got a lot of artwork lined up so expect a Hitman flood in the coming days! :)

There's only one "Once Upon a Time" for me and that's "Once Upon a Time in the West" :D > I thought your sig was from a film with Carlyle, not a show. Will have to try and watch it :) Great actor btw, I loved him in 28 Weeks Later. Crazy flick :) Also saw him in 51st State, The Beach, Ravenous, The World is Not Enough, Trainspotting, ... no matter how good or bad the film, that guy always delivers :)

He is great. I recomend you watch. 28 weeks was awful i hayed him playing a zombie. The one thing i hate him in. As for the world is not enough brilliant.

Before I started work today, I decided to go back and revisit my recent cover for Bolt and give it a complete overhaul. I completely re-did all the text (font, positioning, wording, size, etc), replaced the movie logo with a better one, and added the Walt Disney logo.

I also increased the lightness of the movie logo, which I think matches the colour of the image better. The original is underneath in the spoiler. Which do you prefer?

No, no, don't worry. You haven't stolen anything. None of your Balto covers are really what I'm looking for (no offense), so I'm still waiting on Jason to do something amazing.

The image you used for your second cover is a piece of fan art, just so you know. That's one of the annoying things about this movie - there is so much fan art out there that it's difficult to find any real, authentic images from the film. That's why screencaps are the way to go with this one.

And the image you used for your third cover is authentic post-release promotional material, but I really don't like it (nothing to do with you, obviously). I just hate it when studios produce material for a 2D animation and try to make the characters look "3D" on the promotional material, particularly DVD covers. Like the current Robin Hood DVD cover. It's awful. 9 times out of 10 they don't even look like the actual film characters anymore. If it's a 2D animation leave it 2D!! Grrrr.

Sorry. It gets me worked up a bit. :p

So yes, Jason, if you could work some of your magic with this one, I'd be most grateful. It's a tough request to fulfil, but I have faith in you. ;)

I shiver and get goosebumps every time I watch it, no kidding.

Had another stab at Hitman Agent 47, don't know how much more I can squeeze out of it seeing as Mr. Gold already nailed that one :) I will also do a batch for the Geoff Zanelli score of the original film (which I think will be better than the remake).

I had lots more but some of the screenshots and artwork really don't do anything for me. Some of the posters I found were stunning, and I included here (even though sometimes they're not related to the movie -- the first cover and its variant are though). I'm not particularly fond of how the b/w gunfight cover turned out but I thought it was a cool image. Perhaps I need to place the 'score by' someplace else. I do like the skyline cover that looks like a tie, but maybe I should put the HITMAN title a bit lower? I found other pics that were the same Mr. Gold used so if you want those than go look at his batch :)

Thanks heidl, will do! :) Yeah the shooting range one Mr. Gold already did, but I wanted to emphasize it was in fact a shooting range and not a wall or something, so I redid that one as well :)

Also, an update on my Star Wars cover, as I found a matching font for the Star Wars logo text!!! :D
To be honest, I'm not really a fan of making the composer's name slightly larger than the 'music/score by' text, so unless someone specifically asks for a cover, I won't do that :)

Yes, it's such a shame, isn't it? That was a Bluray screencap and it's still such poor quality. But it looks good in iTunes and on my iPod, so I'm happy with it for now.



Also, it's a snowstorm, so it's not going to be crystal clear. I guess.

Unless someone has the Bluray and can get a better screencap? Don't know if that's possible or not.

Exactly. By the way, did you try here Balto (1995) - Disney Screencaps (http://disneyscreencaps.com/balto-1995/39/) ? You can find screencaps of basically the whole movie. Maybe you'll find something suitable for you.

That's where I got my screencap from. I often use that site. But there appears to be a problem with the Balto caps that means the bottom is chopped off each one. Luckily, for the shot I wanted, that didn't make a difference.

I'm still looking for an alternative site with the same quality.
