There was a Link for the Scores of all the Jean Claude Van Damme Films - But, again it was a Dead Link! :(

The one I'm after is Sudden Death 1995 by John Debney

I'd be grateful once again, if someone messages me or gives me a link :)

Thank you

Dont know what you refere to as lost tracks, but i have a Shuki Levy boot featuring 15 tracks from the animated 80s series along with some bonus tracks from other animated things like MASK, Thundercats and something labeled Jayce...(and the songs are french!!! Cosmocats *LOL*)

I'd be interested in that, too. I was referencing the film score to the Golan-Globus 1980s picture. The Bill Conti score.

Thank you.

Help needed in putting Howard Shore's Doubt in chronological order.
Actually the commercial CD is in chronological order but I have some doubts regarding the usused cues
Anyone who has seen the film and wants to discuss can do it here or PM me

1.Main Title
2.Sancristy (unused)
3.Daybreak
4.(0:38 - end) Be Alert
5.I am concerned (unused)
6.The Locker
7.The Rose Garden
8.Porch (unused)
9.The Storm
10.Sister James (unused)
11.(00:00 - 00:40) Accused - (00:41 - end unused)
12.Feathers
13.The crow (unused)
14.Donald
15.Rage
16.Mrs Miller
17.Confrontation
18.Goodbye Sermon (unused)
19.Doubts (unused)

The FYC Promo lists the following track list

1. Main Titles
2. Sacristy
3. Be Alert
4. The Shed
5. The Shed part 2
6. The Storm
7. The Phone Call (00:00 - 00:40 Accused)
8. The Gosspi Sermon (Feathers)
9. Donald
10. Rage
11. Justified (Confrontation)

- My doubts are about the unused tracks 5, 8, 10. Do they correspond to any scenes in the film or maybe to deleted scenes we do not know?
- I think the track 2 (Sancristy) of the promo is the track 3 (Daybreak). Can anyone who has the promo please confirm? I think the Sancristy track of the commercial CD is unused and it is relative to the scene where Donald and Jimmy prepare for the Sancristy
- Again if anyone has the promo CD, do tracks Shed and Shed part 2 correspond (partially) to the tracks Locker and Rose Garden of the commercial release?

Thanks for any help

Help needed in putting Howard Shore's Doubt in chronological order.

I can't remember exactly what I found when I compared both albums, but I think the promo featured the score as it was presented in the film. They re-arranged different versions of the cues for the OST. I don't think Howard composed much more than there is on the promo, they just split up the cues and arranged portions of them to a single track for the OST, making it nearly impossible to figure out, which cues they came from originally. I never got a physical disc of the promo (for lossless sound), so I lost interest in doing such a comparison. Good luck to you, not sure if I could hellp you. However, consider the promo titles as originals (used while recording the music), the OST titles were done afterwards.

Elliot Goldenthal ~ Heat (expanded)

Lossless anyone?!?

Weren't all the expanded versions of Heat just poor DVD-rip edits?
And a few tracks from different Goldenthal soundtracks?
I remember finding one that used tracks from a really old 80's score.
Particularly the one track that was featured in the trailer for Heat.

I remember hearing that Coda was rejected for Heat and later used for Michael Collins.
I wonder if there's a youtube of what it would have looked like...

Anyone have the retail soundtrack of The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunchback_of_Notre_Dame_(soundtrack)) in FLAC?

I don't think so. I have a MP3-320 copy of that expanded version and it looks and sounds legit to me.

Dunno.

This is true. The track Hand in Hand or Finale can be found on the boot pictured above. The Michael Collins version is a re-recording.

Yes, I agree that the promo contains the exact music in the film but the commercial release contains several unused tracks like the Crow scene or the final Doubts scene
On the other hand I am not sure if the names in the promo are the most correct ones. There is no "Locker" cue (which can be The Shed cue of the promo) but the Locker scene contains for sure music (which is actually the Locker track of the commercial release)
I am a bit lost with some unused tracks such as "I am concerned" which can be an alternative of "Be Alert" because they are commenting the same scene (according to me). Same for the Porch track (can be alternative of The Shed). "Sister James" and "Mrs Miller" also can be somehow attributed to some scenes with good probabilities to have them correct.
I think there is no heavy music editing (repeated music all over the movie) although some cues are partially used in the film
Would be nice to find a track list of the recording sessions from the composer (those famous 1m1v8, 1m2v1 etc)

FAMILY MAN (Danny Elfman) (lossless/flac)

Here is a variation of the 28-track FYC Academy Promo to The Family Man, with the exact same 27 tracks of score by Elfman, but without the vocal by Seal, which was probably not included for copyright reasons. The new cover was provided by a fan, who also gave titles for each score track. Great stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.

Trailer Project: Coming Soon - Previews of Coming Attractions by John Beal

I used to have this but deleted it all.
It's just synth and midi stuff.
It's all reproduction.

None of it actually sounds like the actual trailer music used.
Nothing higher than 8bit, really.

Some tracks on there I know are supposed to sound different than what's actually heard in the trailer.

Trailers: Epic full orchestra.
Project: Epic high-school trainee practice material in 8bit synth.

Actually, Cleatus, that link is for the Intrada Promo, which is only one disc. The two disc set is the Recording Sessions. I only have the 320, but have never listened. The Intrada is fine for me. Someone here does have the sessions in flac, as they have been posted before, I just don't remember who....

The Intrada Promo is nice and tidy, and has 23 tracks. The Sessions are like most sessions, mulitple takes, inserts etc, and has 72 tracks.

AS I mentioned, I found this two disc set as MP3 with its colorful inserts with tracks in chronological order and finishing disc two with a SUITE from the film. It looked very much as if Broughton was behind this release. Those flac recordings indicated above were someone's 'personal' rip. Nothing in order and cues split.

CD1

02 - The Glass Knight part 2 0:23
03 - The Riddles Solved 2:58
04 - End Titles 3:34

2- Flaming hat rack- Main Title- The heart of London

The amazon link you provided does not give a track list and has the cover artwork for the Intrada promo CD which is provided in FLAC by El Cid in the thread started by Amanda. I don't believe there are any other versions on this site than the links I gave above for the Intrada promo and the recording sessions. In case you want to download, here is front and back CD art of the Intrada promo which as I understand it was officially done with Bruce Broughton:

Amanda
08-08-2012, 06:53 PM
Yes, the promo was done officially. Phideas, the other is not fan made. It is the recording sessions, which are entirely different. It is the raw score as recorded. The split cues are due to different takes being tried, The partial cues are inserts done for re-edits of scenes needing additional cues. This is what true recording sessions sound like, contrary to what some here would have you believe. Ovbiously, as such it is not an official album, and is a bootleg. Personal recordings of these sessions are not supposed to be allowed or leaked out. This is before any attempt at sound mixing or anything. It is the pure, raw performance of the orchestra. There are no other versions of this score. The sessions are boots, leaked and not sold officially, and the Intrada Promo was very, very limited and quite rare as an actual disc. But, it is more or less complete.

The track list provided by Amazon is this:

Track listing Disc 1 1. The Gamecock/The Bird is Alive (02:53) 2. Flaming Hat Rack/Main Title (03:41) 3. The Heart of London (01:00) 4. A Deductive Mind Never Rests (00:44) 5. Library Love/Waxflatter's First Flight/The Visitor (02:51) 6. Fencing Lesson (01:05) 7. I Never Want to Be Alone/Stained Glass Knightmare/Solving the Crime (08:06) 8. Waxflatter Flies Again (01:09) 9. One Last Duel/Window Parting/Cario Vision (04:08) 10. Waxflatter's Death/Holmes Returns (03:38) 11. The Hat/Holmes and Elizabeth-Love Theme (03:15) Disc 2 1. The Game is Afoot/Tip of the Iceberg (06:22) 2. The Ceremony (03:05) 3. Stop! She's Alive!/Pastries & Crypypts (06:42) 4. Caught/Friends of Waxflatter (04:55) 5. Warning Shot (01:31) 6. Cragwitch's Vision (01:46) 7. The Struggle (01:21) 8. A Fifth Princess/Holmes in Flight (06:15) 9. Waxing Elizabeth/Diversionary Tactics (07:04) 10. Ehtar's Escape/The Final Duel/Final Farewell (09:36) 11. The Riddle's Solved/End Credits (06:25) 12. Moriarty? (00:46) Total Duration: 01:28:18

This is the 23 track Intrada Promo. It is just that I (or whoever I got it from ) have combined it into one long archive. If this is what you want, then flac links have been provided above.

Phideas1
08-08-2012, 08:34 PM
Based on the track listings and the visuals, it appears the Intrada version is what I want... and what I downloaded from somewhere (it was a Rapidshare download according to my records) is an MP3 version of it with the additional track of a 'suite' which sounds odd in its transitions and the art work BEHIND the track list is of the stained-glass man. If you follow that.

I'll check over the links provided here once more... thanks for the input. ;-)

Has anyone been able to identify the music used in the Cloud Atlas extended trailer? I know that a version of Sonera by Thomas Bergersen (from 2 steps from hell) is the piece in the middle (although it's annoying no instrumental version of this seems to exist anywhere), and M83's outro is on the end of the trailer, but no one seems to know what the piano piece playing at the start of the trailer is?

That makes sense at face value, but the fact is in the two years leading up to your PC's malfunction, you had yet to post any music at all.

He was looking for the complete score. The OST is nice but not complete.

[/URL].

I have watched the film countless times and never noticed music that was absent from the OST. In point of fact, on the double DVD set there is a wonderful section devoted to the scoring of the film... and Desplat explains this is a film with VERY LITTLE music... thus he was concerned not to intrude unless the score was essential. He also said much of his work he considers 'crap' but in this case he was very pleased. Seems a humble man. Pointing out Benjamin's theme is basically the same notes forward, then the same notes backward.

I can't think there would be a TWO CD set of the score.

The OST includes two discs, the second being the period music as well as the lovely piano tune 'Bethena' that Benjamin learns, which is composed by Randy Kerber.

QUIRKY WORLD (rare tracks from Vladimir Cosma!) (Lossless) (FLAC)

From a series of "production music" CDs on the Galerie label. Each track is presented full-length, and also in a 1-minute and 30-second version. Cosma fans will recognize some tunes that were also used in films he scored, but there are also many original cues. 58 tracks totaling over an hour of music. Good stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.

Be aware that I know at least one member who says they got a nasty malware just logging onto the site earlier, so I dunno about ignoring the warning. I ran scans, and am fine, but others claim not to be.

In Firefox go to tools, options, security and CLICK Block Reported Attack Sites. Don't know why this has suddenly popped up even in CHROME.... but this is why I pay bucks for Nortons.

I got this yesterday and had to spend a couple of hours cleaning my pc, if anyone has gotten it, there's a trojan that you need to get something like malwarebytes to get rid of it and it takes a few scans and restarts to do so properly. i have AVG on my pc, and that detected it, but couldn't remove it. I've PM'd an admin about it, as coming back to the site today i got a popup blocking the site warning that google had reported the site as having a virus aswell, so it's not just you.

Hey "snarky" a melding of sarcasm and cynicism is in my DNA.

Besides I couldn't resist you have been a member for three years you have never posted anything, have given three likes (all in the last week) and used the word snarky.

I must admit "snarky" is a tough word to work into everyday conversation, for that you are to be commended.

What were the technical reasons that contributed to your absence?

I really have no intention of justifying myself to you...I had my reasons for not entering..I had no computer for a very long time...and that's that...And just one more piece of information for you...the forum has a history option...try looking that up if you're so interested in my posts...Bye..:)))...And oh..thanks on the sharing offer..:)

The link for that one is just a score analysis (as the link says ;) ), not for any real release. It's possible that someone has made this rip, but the info at the link states that it's from the official release, the workprint and the DVD release, which would leave it with SFX and speech in some tracks

I know you didn't. I did. Just then. I will admit that I use whichever style it is that is greyish white and dark blue. His posts are not an eye sore to me. It's the size of the font that bugs me. From my perspective, it kind of feels like he's saying, "I'm more important because my text is bigger and brighter than yours and you shall do everything I want." If this can be taken in a non-offensive way, I got the same feeling from William Taylor and Ariel.

I should probably just stay out of this.....

Then why in the goddamn hell do you even need to make a post like this??!! You've butted in to a conversation simply to say that you won't get involved in that conversation. That makes no sense. It's like coming into a restaurant, sitting down and saying, "I'm not going to order anything."

When I first arrived, I spent a couple months downloading stuff, like a kid in a candy store. Wish I'd stumbled on it much sooner. Along the way I learned what I could about prevailing file preferences and host sites. Then I started sharing what few rare (or unposted) items I have in my collection. I have some more, but I'm waiting to see how bandwidth usage spreads out over a month on Mediafire, and making sure people are happy with the quality of my shares.

Anyway I think that's the way it should be - make an effort to give back to the community what you can. I've noticed a few people who seem very demanding and never actually share. That strikes me as bizarre, entitlement without sharing. But I don't care how annoying someone is if they're giving back.

Anyone have Leap Year by Randy Edelman?
It's a no-no label, so if there's a link could you PM me?

Before I joined, looks like it was posted by Piano, who's of course long gone.
(I like the samples, but I don't know Edelman very well so I'm waffling on buying it.)
