TF3-DOTM is already available for pre-order. I only care about the news concerning the score.
It's Jablonsky, it's "Darker", it's the final chapter (as far as Bay is concerned), and it's Transformers. I hope it'll be completely better than the second one and almost better than the first one.
The label is WB, which I believe is a no-no label here.
As of now, the information is extremely limited on Amazon. Not even a track list!!
I'll be going to the store and buying this one! (Or mugging whoever buys it before me).

So today I went out to meet a friend and came back three hours later to find that some motherless bastards had broke into my house and fucked off with most of my CD's, Blurays, DVD's and hard drives. Mt laptop only survived because I had it with me.

An insurance claim has been made but unfortunately some of the things these arseholes took included some out of print scores.

I have done a search and found a few of them but some the links are dead.

A couple aren't out of print but I need to try and find them as they have music that I need for a project.

Tracks 1-17 are from christopher young's score promo, they are all score tracks from the movie, 18-22 are songs from the soundtrack by paul oakenfold that are used in the movie.
I have the 17 track promo but it's among my older collections so only have it @ 160k, if that's ok or if anyone else can provide better quality?
I have the soundtrack cd which includes those additional 4 tracks, again as it's from aorund the same time only at 160k, someone else probably has this better.

I would love it even in 160k!!?

Well, there's nothing much to do at 4 in the morning, so yeah... lol. I get up at 4:45 to go to school anyway, so what's an hour less of sleep? Plus, it's a once-in-a-lifetime event. You can run and tell that to the 3 Billion people worldwide who saw the wedding too. Now, what I think is boring is listening to film scores all day imagining you're part of a movie *ahem... Here's a tough one. Does anyone have anything official or otherwise for the movie CONDORMAN by HENRY MANCINI?

I found a dvd rip for it but it has lots of dialog and the quality isn't great I'm also looking for a official copy myself

If you want the film edit, cool. But the Deluxe album of Aliens is the complete score as intended.....

This version above that Jessie took down I believe Tracks#1-39 are a Blu Ray Isolated rip, the trouble begins with Tracks#40-62 that is the Varese Sarabande release.

Actually, the trouble began with track one. Even though it is a blue ray rip, it is still a score licenced by Varese, and cannot be posted. Thew have the rights to any music associated with it. Unreleased or not.

Okay I stand corrected then.

I am curious about the slate numbers on those later tracks. It is not that way on the Varese album....

I have the CD over 10 years and now I found out that there are two hidden tracks on the CD but unfortunately I have no access to them on my CD Player or PC - thanks to the RedBook Standard :(

The simple fact is that Varese are prepared to take legal action while other labels are not.

Not just Varese though. The band also includes anything from Film Score Monthly. Varese had the site closed for a while. Well, the site was closed while all varese links got removed, as I understand. It is a bone of contention still, but it is what it is.

No. The site has been down in the past because of constant problems on the server and for monetary reasons to maintain the forum running. Including some posts were vanished during the migration process to a new server and that was (more and less) 2 years ago. And varese never closed the site, that's a false rumour promptly denied by the admins.

This is probably only fanmade covers as there isn�t any backcover made, but I read that a 63 track 2 disc complete Elmstreet is floating around in 160 kbps. About Friday the 13th, have only seen an extended one but not a complete one...

As much as everyone seems to be pleased that the son of a bitch is dead, i'm more concerned about the potential fall-out. Now chances of a 10th anniversay attack increased to chances of a retribution attack.

They should just sell these complete recordings on digital downloads such as itunes, I don't understand why they can't it wouldn't cost them anything

Because it's not just about the physical cost of printing the disc. Royalties are the issue, and with a symphony orchestra the issues get more complex. This is combined with the incredibly small size of the score buying market. The specifics are enough to fill a law book on their own, but the short version is there are specific and strong legal and economic reasons that they don't just throw everything up on itunes. (And that most of the legal extended versions are limited editions.) Printing costs, even mastering costs, are not the main concern.

Yes, my understanding is that those releases are only now possible at all because of a deal that was struck with the musicians unions, that essentially said, we'll waive our normal rules so that you can put these albums out for the small collectors market. If they were to rerelease them, or expand their initial release, it would trigger restrictions making them economically impractical. The regular releases that come out with movies are another subject, and again, the rules are quite complex. But Varese exists AT ALL because they are willing to take on the task of publishing music for new movies that normal record labels don't feel would be worth the effort. The same is true for all the film music specialty labels such as La-La Land, FSM, and so on...

This does not exist as a real release. I have looked. You will notice at amazon, it is not available for sale. there is no label, there are no production details. The only customer review is by "BOB", who added a track list, which means the original listing did not even have that. And, JHFan informed me that these two scres were each released on different labels, so it is unlikely they would get a release like this. He also think it is a boot.

Now, if a boot, the question to me is are they real leaked scores, or rips?. I see no sign of them out there, spent half the night looking. If it is, it is fairly well hidden. That means Soundtrack Collector etc also have no mention of it, soooo

I'd also like to give this one a go....But mainly, on the mentioning of Steve, I immediately think of Desperate Housewives, and the great music he's constantly conducting for that show...Unfortunately, you're right about missing out on a lot of scores, for example, that same Desperate Housewives music doesn't have a single official release...The music can only be found thanks to those giving, and hard-working individuals, who take the time out of their own personal lives just to rip the music and make it possible for us to hear it once more...God bless you all..:)))

Thanks but I already have this version, including the track sung by Audrey. In addition, the 50th Anniv. edition also includes the Audrey-sung song. Hopefully they release a complete score/Bluray once the release date nears (It was released Oct. 5, 1964). I heared that it might be shown in theaters for one day as well!

Mo such thing. It does not exist. I posted a small suite of it when we did all of those Horners. My understanding ids that he did not score this film. It was just tracked in music from the hummanoids. This one I am sure of . its a fake.

It's posted. It's as complete as I have ever seen. I don't remember where I got it from. It's been a year or more. I had it on a backup hard drive.

Aside from the art, how is this different from the two disc release, or the Intrada? Both were complete scores. I posted both already. I can get you the Intrada @ 320. "remastered" but containing no new music. I own the two disc, can get ya 320 or .wav. Honestly, we had all Horner allowed to be posted, posted. We even had a Horner thread...

I input cd 2...I only 6 tracks...idk why amazon listed that...

I don't know why Amazon shows it, either...after all the other research I've done, I can only find those 6 tracks as being on Disc 2...I don't know what that other stuff is....:)

If anyone wants any Horner, go to my profile, and click on the left, where it says "find all started threads". a list of every thread I have started comes up. All the Horner albums that are not Varese or FSM come up in that list, and most links still work. If they don't an upload will be easy enough. If there is one you don't see on the list, then it is either FSM ( like wrath of Khan), or Varese (like aliens), or just was never released (like too damn many to name)....

I have posted, or shared by pm, every Horner I have (which I think is all that has been released). 113 albums, give or take. If I don't have it, it is a safe bet Stereoelf or JHFan do. If JH doesn't have it, it just doesn't exist. Truth.

This do not exist as it is impossible to rip without alot of SFX, they mixed the score with the sound so aslong as therte aint a stereo soundtrack or a new Blu-Ray transfer, we will most likely not see this one out here... :(

Or a cover. many of the Sci-Fi compilations have had covers of this and Predator....heart of the Ocean has a cover of this main title, I think.

I would pm you about this, but you need 5 posts. The only place i saw this is at a private site. They don't like their shares passed around. I seems to have something to do with control. Once a link gets posted, inside of an hour or two, it is everywhere. And no credit given. Some folks are not comfortable with that. So they limit where they post. It is just a personal thing.

Well, speaking of Konio's habits. I point out that none of the public blogs has this yet. I have seen it on one private site, a couple of weeks now. So it seems that most other sites get the big new ones from us. It hits here, then spreads like wildfire elsewhere. You can see that, through this and other releases. james Horner's two new ones, testament, and Rascals. Not posted here due to label restrictions. Not on other public sites. Not even privately, except for one or two where I posed. But, no spreading around the ie. However else you feel about it, I think, as an experiment, it is kind of interesting to watch. But post here, and Konio posts again within an hour. He posts at a dozen sites. Within a day it is on all of them...

Good? maybe. On one side it is annoying as all get out. But, I say I am dedicated to sharing with folks as much as possible, and certainly is getting that done. I figure it's a toss-up

Those two SW scores do not have any official expanded releases. There are a number of good rips out there that minimalize fx, but none are completey clean.

Have the Blu Ray specs been released for the upcoming Star Wars set? I know it probably won't happen, but I would love to see them do the same as the "Alien" Blu Rays and have the isolated scores - especially since it's from Fox. Pipe dream, I know, but one can hope. (I'm probably one of the few people on the planet that actually likes hearing the film-version edits of these scores. I know some people consider that blasphemy against John Williams and that they're not "complete scores", but I like hearing the same version that's in the movie. But that's just me.)

Some specs have been released and iso scores is not one of them. I doubt it will happen to be honest. And Fox is only the distributor of this. Lucasfilm is solely responsible for the content.

It's just that FSM have highlighted this release as a big one, along with the MoH Soundtrack Collection and that's why that hasn't been posted in flac yet either. So if FSM get word of it, they'll be sure to let LaLaLand know about it and then we'll be on their radar too. Crysis 2 wasn't mentioned on FSM as far as i know as it's vgm and it's mostly film scores that they seem to pounce on in regards to complaining and what not.

She's just looking out for the best interests of the forum and i agree with her on this. So please apologise, it was a bit over the top.

So please don't share that soundtrack in flac in public.

Gotta say, as much as i would like this, i completely understand where she's coming from on this, i haven't posted a lot here because i don't tend to get new stuff that often, but when i have posted i specifically ask that the links not be posted to other sites, as i am concerned about things being spread like wildfire, for one i think people like konio taking other people's posts and spreading them, especially if it's something that is new or high profile like this is, attracts too much unwanted attention, and then the lawyers get involved and everything goes to shit. There's a lack of subtlety involved which is, to be brutally honest, just blatantly fucking rude, and it pisses me off.
