I mean, come on, I asked you to look first before telling me to reupload x)You can blame the forum/thread useless search function for that rather than laziness. How am I or anyone supposed to know if a live link is available when a simple search for "ocarina of time 3d" (http://forums.ffshrine.org/search.php?searchid=2283269) yields nothing more than useless banter throughout the thread. I mean control F that shit with the word Ocarina and it doesn't even show up until page 2. How can a "search engine" bring up results for ocarina of time 3d that doesn't even have the words ocarina on the 1st page. And of course maybe I'm personally spoiled by Google where if you can't find what you're looking for within the 1st 10 results, everything after is just a useless endeavor. Could anyone tell me what "peak level" means. Is it like replay gain?

Peak level is the highest level an audio wave can go depending on the file source. If you raise the volume higher then peak level, the audio becomes more distorted since the wavelength limit has been passed depending on the file.

In layman's terms the "peak level" is the limit the volume can go before any part of the audio is "damaged".

neiax
01-06-2013, 01:25 PM
"Peak level" refers to the 'distortion free' limit/threshold before clipping occurs to your output signal.... Peak doesn't necessarily mean loudest - you can certainly drive a signal beyond it's peak level.

Replaygain is more in-line with a peak limiter. A peak limiter sits at the top of your signal chain though, and is usually intended to govern clipping of the entire signal(s), where as replaygain is used specially for individual sources. (keep in mind my view is from a musician-type perspective - which usually differs from audiophiles)

Yeah I know what you mean, that search function really needs to be fixed up. I still think it would be much better to have an updated index on the first page than having to trawl through pages of discussion in the thread search page just to look for a particular soundtrack.

Oh I get it. So peak has nothing to do with an added effect it is just the volume threshold of the song. So a song with 100% would play best at 0db while a song with like 60% you'd have to turn down the volume to -db to avoid distortion...I think i got that right. I need a receiver and a new set of speakers. I don't see how its possible to avoid clipping when using replay gain though.

LiquidAcid
01-06-2013, 06:14 PM
Look up BS.1770 and "true peak measurement". Finding the true peak of a track is a non-trivial matter. In fact a lot of VGM has a true peak > 1.0, which can lead to problems during the DAC stage (clipping due to internal resampling).

EDIT: In case it isn't clear how RG can then avoid this. When you know the true peak you can apply additional scaling to the waveform bringing the peak back to a value < 1.0

I was under the impression that peak level was simply how close to the 1.0 mark the "loudest" part of the audio was. I was also of the mind that Replay Gain usually caused distortion because your quieter tracks would receive gain till they were as loud as your loudest track, if you chose to do it that way.

LiquidAcid

That doesn't make any sense. Also you need to define loudness. RG 1.0 computes loudness differently than e.g. the newer EBU R128.

I was also of the mind that Replay Gain usually caused distortion because your quieter tracks would receive gain till they were as loud as your loudest track, if you chose to do it that way.
That's not how RG works. I suggest you read the specs, which can be found e.g. on Hydrogen Audio. Also you shouldn't use track gain in the first place when listening to a full album.

Hey I've got another quick question. If a song has replay gain added and then you convert that song does the replay gain info get stuck to that file or is it removed? I am asking because when I convert the flac to wav the id tag info for the gain is gone I am just hoping its not secretly stuck to the file. I've tested it out side by side and it seems like it's removed but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks

WAV doesn't have the ability to tag metadata to it's files (unlike FLAC). So replaygain values (along with other metadata attached to your compressed file) will be lost in the process of FLAC to WAV. There's nothing "secretly stuck" in the file... formats like MP3 etc. do however "secretly" attached the metadata into the audio file though. At least I think it does... I did some reading years ago on the topic, but can't remember all details.

jlaidler

He's got big BALLS and she's got big BALLS! Anyway, wav actually can get metadata. Foobar2000 can rip CDs into wav with all the same labeling and data as mp3 files. I was staggered when I figured it out too. Still not re-ripping my library though, lotta music, lol.

LiquidAcid
01-07-2013, 09:08 AM
It's very much possible to put metadata into a WAV. RIFF defines an info tag, which can store artist, album, etc. info -- see e.g. Audacity Wiki - WAV (http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/WAV#Metadata). However it is undefined how RG info is stored in a RIFF info tag. At least the RG 1.0 (http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=ReplayGain_1.0_specification) specs don't define this. Another means of storing metadata is just appending a ID3v2 chunk to the file. But all these method are non-standard and might work or not work with your software. WaveGain e.g. can write its computed gain correction to the RIFF info (https://github.com/bwagner/wavegain/blob/master/README) chunk, but again, you don't gain (no pun intended) by this since only wavegain retrieves (and uses) this information.

So no, there is no standard way of storing RG info in WAV files. What you can do of course, is to permanently apply gain correction when decoding to PCM. Not really recommend though...

EDIT: If you want to handle metadata properly, just avoid WAV in the first place.

I compared the wav and flac in foobar with and without replay gain applied and it looks like the wav lost its replaygain. I looked at the spectrum to make sure. I also converted a flac with replaygain to wav and back to flac and it kept the artist album etc. but it lost its replay gain. I converted with both dbpoweramp and foobar to make sure. Foobar kept the Japanese text while dbpoweramp made it into question marks.

The most an IP banning can hope to achieve against a troll is inconvenience them with Googling one of thousands of free proxies and then a captcha on the member registration page. You can't stop a real troll, because a troll's weakness is not complaining, rules, admins or bans. A troll does what a troll wants. No... what can stop a troll is the troll themselves, when he or she inevitably gets too bored to care to make the effort. Your reactions are fun for them, and admin actions are laughably trivial. Do you really think an annoying presence on the internet can just stop at a simple click of the mouse? Thats just being naive. I'm not defending tnodah, just stressing the fact that moaning about a ban won't stop tnodah, if tnodah's mission is to rustle your jimmies.

I always giggle when a troll gets banned, and all the members reply in relief or remorse thinking their lovable scamp is gone, not wise to the fact that their troll is already back among them under a new name before they know they're banned. I mean did they actually think Njrg would just up and disappear at the whim of a feeble attempt from a mod? Ha! AHAHAHAHA! The FOOLS! Njrg was with them the entire time! Banned for an additional fifteen or twenty times until he or she just got bored and moved onto new forums and getting sidetracked with her new PSP, 3DS, job, and lossless music collections! He or she didn't leave because he/she was told to; I left because I wanted to! Because I got bored with my humanoid toys! And I'd come back again and again if I wanted to just because why not!? This internet is free and I play by my own rules! So there's nothing in this internet that can sto--- woah... getting side-tracked. What was that? I MEAN WHAT WAS THAT?! A fucking stroke?! O EM to the GEE thats like-EMBARRASSING! Kyaaahhh! Nothing! ITS NOTHING! Definitely nothing suspicious or out of the ordinary! And certainly not an ominous sign of sorts...Where were we?! Go home twisted psyche, you're drunk! Ahhh yes... It'd be ever-so-lovely if you had 7th Dragon 2020 OST in lossless format!! ~Chuuuuu~ ^3~ <3

But yeah, sorry about your little tnodah problem, but to me it seems like something you just have to deal with. Rules just aren't relevant to a troll, and its unfortunate that all thats required to join a forum is clicking a box that says "I agree....." when not everyone is sincere when doing so. I don't find him amusing, but I definitely find yours and anyone's reactions annoying. Freedom of the internet is taking bad with the good. I would gladly deal with a little troll on my ass if the payoff was lots of free lossless music and the ability to interact with the people who share my interest be them awesome or super-bitchy.

Plus isn't there like an ignore feature here or something. A troll cant feed off of you can't even react because he's invisible to you. And certainly cant live off of people who don't even care enough to see them. Seriously didnt know this guy till everyone singled him out.

Sorry but after reading the whole post im still thinking you're not gettint the point. Im too bad giving explanations so i'll try to make it short.

Yeah, we post useless messages (sometimes) but we're helping each other the best way we can (of course there are some people that help far beyond the imagination) so whats the point of having an user which is presentation was: "you're a bunch of shit maderfakers and i hate you all because you didnt help me in the past, suckers"?? Its not the same post spam sorta messages like "Oh, sounds good", "Wow, beautiful", "Link is down", "Re-Up", etc. VS posting things like "Suckers", "Fuck Off", "Faggots", etc.

Are you getting the point now? Having a person like that in the forum will bring more useless messages, useless responses (like the "discussion" we're having now xD), and the possibility of more users like that who register only to request 1 thing and if they dont get it after 1 day they start spaming and flooding (or worse, insulting). If users like these are not banned more people like them will come and screw the forum.

We're talking about trolls. But thats its the mod/admin duty so it's up to them. Also here are some rules we must follow. And yes, ignoring them (conflictive users i mean) is the best way to avoid them but as i said before, the final response is up to the admins or mods. Simple as that. Banning + ignoring will solve the things (at least as far as i know...)

Buff, i dont know if what im trying to say its now clear, but i tried to express the best way i could. Sorry for my awful english U^^.

TUK, if someone trolls you, don't attack, you will only be feeding in to their desires. Hopefully FFshrine can get a blocking feature for this sort of thing. *wink* *wink*

It may only be a temporary feature but it does take some kind of effort for a troll to obtain a new IP, make a new email account, make an account here. But as long as they can't indulge in their trolling fetishes wherever, they will get bored eventually and realize they aren't being entertained and then move elsewhere if not stop altogether. TUK, do not be the person the troll goes for. Ignore, block, don't respond, don't read anything a troll towards you comes with if it's only going to piss you off. It may be difficult for some people but that's a price we pay for our freedoms on the internet. If you can't do it, then save yourself and leave but if you are willing to choose to come any forum or place where trolls may lurk about then you must learn to tolerate it.

And while we're at it, please show some courtesy to the people who work to give you precious download links. Keep it light on the extremely big, bold text.

Why is everyone taking about trolls like they're widespread? The guy is probably the 2rd or 3rd troll I've EVER SEEN on this site. (I pretty much only go to the Video Game Music Download Links section though.) That also excludes events with The Ultimate Koopa because... hes loved too much.

Besides, everyone trolls once in a while, so just let him. What is he going to do next? Say something like u guise all suk ballz? Theres no point of wasting your time banning him unless he REALLY start becoming a problem.

Sorry but after reading...I get it... I get everything... I've never not once could never not got it ever at all never ever. I just don't see the situation to be any bigger than a fly buzzing in front of my face and I don't get why, or really care why a fly to some people is apparently a giant bug monster that must be killed with fire. 2 pages ago no one was even talking about trolls and now they're the current focus of the thread like its this major problem? Much like aati pointed out, is this place is usually pretty chill, with a little to mild controversy once a month and I see no problem with that as it doesn't harm anything.

Oh well... its not really a big issue or an issue at all... not like any of us will remember it or care about it by page 815. I've already started losing interest in this troll drama. Having your jimmies rustled, whose got time for dat? Bring on the next drama plz.

Good, let someone else take over this thread. Not trying to insult you or anything but you're not exactly all that in charge of your own thread. Sure you might have been it's creator and compiled a great list at one time, and can edit the 1st post and topic, but the community has long since taken over the thread for you. You didn't get the thread to 800 pages, they all did, and they posted most of the music, compliments, and menial bickering. This thread is already self-sustaining with people posting new musics all the time. Your contributions to everyone have been immensely epic and full of happiness, and I'm not trying to insult you when I say that your own thread doesn't need you anymore. Its like your child, in a sense that it's grown up and now has a will of its own.

Should anyone else make another lossless thread, then I'd say they'd just be as in control as their own thread as you are. Which is why starting a new thread with the same purpose in mind is seemingly pointless, because its everyone's desire to have a discussion whenever and wherever they want. Basically saying, that just because someone is the 1st poster, that doesn't make them the boss or in charge of anything. So just sit back and relax. Don't worry about the details on the front page, because all the veterans who visit your thread care more about the details in the most recent pages.

Besides... anyone out there who expects you to keep up with any and every new thing thats shared in your thread is clearly an idiot who clearly doesn't understand posters are people with lives and just can't keep up with such a burden over the period of a few months, let alone a few years and thousands of posts.

mine is mostly unscrached (maybe 4 very subtle scratches, each 1cm long) and I can see 2 slight fingerprints, didn't wanted to harm the CD by cleaning though, but I clean it after all and rip it again

mediafire deletes the second archive and when you to to the web site you can see that they now scan the archives deeply because they found the music and directly link to amazon (banner ad style). I don't think it was reported. Seems to me like they have a new scanning algorithm with amazon ads.

So I thing we have to step up our game of hiding the files.

Man, looks like I got lucky so far. All of my uploads on Mediafire are still there, including my Deus Ex rip (my biggest rip so far, and the only one about a rather popular game). Looks like naming it after something completely unrelated to the game's title worked wonders XD. Either that, or all of my stuff isn't high-profile enough for them to care. Or they just can't handle 7zip encryption.

Well a host site is basically an online hard drive. Your account and all accounts are merely a series of folders and files to them, so its possible for a few rougue files to make their way into your account by someone in charge, or someone who entered a wrong link or refreshed, or another mistake someone somewhere made...

If you think your account has been compromised, then I'd suggest changing your password. If your password was the same one used for the email associated with your account, then I'd go on and change that password as well, and any other sites with accounts that may share that password, like bank sites, paypal, MMO's, etc...

---------- Post added at 10:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:38 PM ----------

Wish for split archives to not be banned by Mediafire.I have a pretty good, albeit inconvenient solution to Mediafire archiving blocks. Just put each part of an password-archive on a separate account. If the archive is split into different locations of their servers, then it should take them much much longer to catch wise to any large multi-archive storing. Having your online traffic divided among multiple accounts should also be able to keep the heat away.

And thanks for the heads up Vegeta. I'll reupload Zelda by then, then.

Grab the game's CD... and put it in your drive, then open EAC/Your favourite music ripper... You should see a bunch of tracks, proceed to rip as if it was a standard Audio CD. Wonders of Sega CD games and Redbook Audio.

This also works if you can find the game in bin/cue format and use an image drive to load it.

Do most .Bin files load that way? There's a couple of PS2 games I couldn't rip cause the music is hidden in bin's or something

Seems like a bit of misunderstanding here. The BIN (binary) files inside PS2 games are a different story. Usually these BIN files have all the data glued together and there's no way of getting the proper file names from withing it because there's no TOC file.

Here's a post that goes into details about why it's nearly impossible to extract files with correct file names from BINs: Link (http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=82064#p82064)

But you can try different tools such as Nova Software Extractor, Cube Media Player etc that will scan BIN and possibly find the audio/music files.

I figured they'd be different. Tried Cube with no luck. So I guess I'm s.o.l.

Last game I ripped from CD (without actually owning the CD), was Test Drive 4. It was in .iso format. I loaded that with Daemon Tools as an image drive. EAC detected the drive and loaded the audio files right up to be ripped just like a normal audio cd. Some games come in .bin / .cue format (use the .cue to load the CD with whichever image drive loader you use).

Vegeta, that only works for [some] older generations of games. PSX, Sega Saturn, Sega CD etc had games on CDs that could be played as regular audio CDs. Which is why EAC detected the tracks.
But starting with 6th generation (PS2, Xbox, NGC, DC) and above it's no longer an option. This freebie feature is not used by developers anymore. And since he was talking about a PS2 game EAC isn't gonna find anything.

Test Drive 4 works that way? Interesting. Think I'll rip that now. I'd actually forgotten about that game.

It'd be nice if more games got PSF2 packs.

Edit: Well that didn't work. All I could find were Bin/Cue files. The Virtual drive on windows 8 will only read ISO's so I grabbed Daemon tools to load it, but EAC couldn't read tracks or anything. Guess I'm doing something wrong.

Hey, guys - can anyone help me out with Shin Megami Tensei Sound Collection (http://vgmdb.net/album/2482)? I already have a copy I found over at railgun quite a whie back... but it was listed as CUE/LOG in APE, but came in split FLAC with no LOG/CUE.

I'm sure it's lossless but would really like a better rip (one I can sure hasn't had something daft done to it like medieval cue splitter or something) - I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Hope someone can help!! Thanks.

I looked inside the ISO, all tracks in Test Drive 4 are inside TRACKS.XA file. XA is a common format for PSX games. I think Vegeta confused it with some other PSX game that he was able to rip tracks with EAC. In this case EAC is not suppose to detect anything.
Use jPSXdec (http://kenai.com/projects/jpsxdec/pages/Home). It is the most up-to-date audio/video ripper for PSX. Scan the whole ISO, from the file tree on the left you'll see it found separate tracks inside TRACKS.XA. Save them as WAV.

Also just to clear something up: regardless of what format is the Image of the game (CCD/IMG/SUB, CUE/BIN, CSO, ISO, MDS/MDF, etc) it doesn't change the TOC (table of contents) inside it, so if the audio tracks were meant to be playable as audio CD they would be there once you mount the image, no matter what format of the Image is. From the top of my head I can only remember N2O: Nitrous Oxide, and Thrill Kill to have tracks accessible that way, but yeah there were quite a few others.

The links went down, would it be possible to get a reupload of the soundtrack or a direction to where it is?

All links are down, could somebody please re-up?

I did search the forums and didn't find any safe downloads.

I still have the lossless version of the official soundtrack as well as the missing tracks (the official soundtrack doesn't even have the menu music lol). If both are down, maybe I'll reupload it on the near future.

Since you guys are already discussing file extraction methods here, I might as well ask something myself: Does anyone have any idea how to extract the music from the PC version of Saints Row 2? I tried pretty much every tool there exist out there, and even though I got the .wav files extracted out of the .xwb files, I'm stuck there (the .wav files are unplayable btw.).
I know someone posted the soundtrack for that game before in this forum, so it is possible. If anyone knows a working method, please let me know.
Have you tried toWav (http://www.ctpax-x.ru/index.php?goto=files&show=24)? Try it either on unplayable .WAV or original .XWB files.

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker FLAC?

Anyone knows where I could get this?

I got my wind waker from a torrent just Google search zelda collection flac. Id link you but I'm on a smartphone and its a pain in the ass. It was in ape format so you should download.foobar or dbpoweramp with the monkey codec.

Edit. Zelda OST (All Zeldas) (download torrent) - TPB (http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/4297226/) there u go. It was harder to find cause torrents.eu showed a picture of a cute hamster with a copyright claim lol.

The thing is I do have that APE format and was trying to get it without having to change the format * laziness at its best lol*. But Yea exactly as you said - the ape one is the only one that can be found as long as I can tell.. I'll do that with dbpoweramp! Not sure about monkey codec so I'll check that out.

Thanks melonof!

It should be easy. Ape is a lossless format. With foobar just download the ape decoder and drag it into the main program or option menu and install then right click the files to convert. It's a lot easier with dbpoweramp but I don't think that one is free.

The Castlevania "Dracula Perfect Selection" collection

EAC | FLAC | CUE | LOG
(Dracula New Classic includes FLAC only)

~ Dracula Battle Perfect Selection ~
(1994)

A kick-ass hard-rock arrange of some of Castlevania's most titular, popular tunes. From Castelvania NES all the way up to the SEGA Genesis' Bloodlines -- even a few Gameboy remixes-- chiptunes have been totally reimagined in full blazing thrash riffs and unrelenting percussion and bass. And in the slower ballads, the guitars just sing out to you. A high octane, never dull journey through vampire country's most famous soundscape.

Arranged by Naoto Shibata and his team

~ Dracula Battle Perfect Selection II ~
(1995)

One wasn't enough, fans wanted more, and Konami delivered yet again. DBPS2 focuses more on the 16-bit era of Castlevania music, but maintains the same ballistic energy as the first throughout, as well as some of the most brilliant opening hooks I've yet heard in a VG arrange album. A second helping of Castlevania III's "Beginning" is also included. There's even a beautiful piano piece in the mix.

Arranged by Naoto Shibata and his team

TRACK LISTING:

1 Beginning --------------------------- Dracula X: Rondo of Blood
2 Theme of Simon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsV40VwAHAM) -------------------- Super Castlevania IV
3 Road of Enemy --------------------- Castlevania Adventure II
4 Den (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6xJkb-Ajpw) ------------------------------- Dracula X: Rondo of Blood
5 Theme from Legend of Dracula ----- Castlevania Adventure (game boy)

8 Reincarnated Soul ----------------- Castlevania Bloodlines

~ Dracula Perfect Selection ~
(1991)

Ever wanted to know what a converstaion between Simon belmont and Dracula would sound like in music form, literally? Well, too bad, you get it here. The infamouns "Castelvania Rap" album, DPS features several remixed Castlevania tunes -- mostly from CV III: Dracula's Curse -- and three of them just so happen to have American '90s rap vocals over them. Phrases such as "I'm gonna get you!" and "Aww yeah" are common here. Thankfully it's only three songs, the other seven are very decent remixes incorporating synth and strings. If you can get over the wholly cheesy lyrics, add this otherwise tarnished gem to your collection.

Arranged by Naoto Shibata, vocals by Joey McCoy and Ornell Jones

Perfect Selection Dracula ~ New Classic ~
(1992)

One of the more rare VGM albums out there, this little compilation of Castlevania arrangements from games 1-4 features a strictly new-orchestral style and instrumentation, incorporating synths as well. A very soothing, dream-like Castlevania experience. (And yes, Monster Dance is intentionally cut short by Konami)

Arranged by Jun Erie

TRACK LISTING:

1 Vampire Killer / Wicked Child (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idwTZeGEkO8&feature=related) ----- Castlevania
2 Dwelling of Doom --------------- Castlevania II
3 Beginning --------------------- Castlevania III
4 Monster Dance ---------------- Castlevania II
5 Hearts of Fire/Out of Time ----- Castlevania
6 The Cave ---------------------- Super Castlevania IV
7 Bloody Tears (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIQ2CkZcxCk&feature=related) ------------------ Castlevania II
8 Theme from Legend of Dracula --- Castlevania Adventure
9 Praying Hands ------------------ Castlevania II
10 Evergreen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCCoMHf5BW0) --------------------- Castlevania III

Wait a sec... do you mean you have STREET FIGHTER II Collector's BOX (http://vgmdb.net/album/1829) (VHS or LD) or do you mean the 11 disc 25th anniversary set? If you have the 5th anniversary [1993] release, could we possibly see that at some stage? Quite a few users on this thread (myself included) have been looking for that release for ages... Thanks, bud.

Download MII-020.rar from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way (http://www.sendspace.com/file/rt34s5)

I can't convert the last three tracks (8-10) to mp3s for some reason. They seem to get converted but the files are about 50 MB in size and won't open in any application. The ape file does play the last tracks fine. Has anyone else tried converting these mp3s? I'm using XLD on Mac.

EDIT: For some reason, I just had to open the cue file with the command "Open..." and not "Open Raw PCM," like I usually do (IIRC). Works great, thank you!

Thanks!
(Apparently the latest Firefox is "too old" to download files that big, and I have to use Chrome. Oh well.)

All browsers are "too old", chrome probably makes it easier to track.

...in tracking you mean "tracking the users"? damn, I don't like this.

I see no reason why links would be taken down, MEGA is basically a middle finger to music rights holders.Of course reported offending content will get taken down. They're running the site in New Zealand which has fairly standard Western copyright laws. And obviously, yes, they're tracking users, and will delete accounts that are shown to be engaging in sharing violations; if you upload anything really seriously illegal, Mega will receive a subpoena for your IP, which will be handed over and you'll get an unfriendly visit from whatever law enforcement agency you pissed off. This is exactly the same with every other file locker out there.

Understand this: the encryption provided protects Mega from litigation, any benefits to the user are pretty incidental.

Glad it worked out. What program were you using btw? I've had lots of success from Foobar2000.
I convert stuff with XLD and listen with iTunes, since I have an iPhone. I'm using a Mac. I used to use Foobar2000 when I still had a PC five years ago.

Useful? I couldn't imagine my life without it, dude. :) FB2K owns yo! (I just wish the Game Emu Player plugin would let me up-sample SPC to at least 44100!)

There use to be an APE image rip available through Jsharer before it went down, but I always wanted to actually own the CD. So I finally did. One of the better Megaten albums.

Pretty sure you can do that with the Winamp Alpha-II plugin. Let's you up-sample SPC to 32-bit 192kHz if you're really that insane.

Cheers for the advice, man... I used to have winamp installed (just for SPC) - but haven't bothered to re-install it on my new laptop. I hate having a bunch of crap installed I don't often use. I really only break out the SPC collection now and then...

I'm okay with 32000 - it's just a small niggle I have. I'm really just 'nitpicking' here. :)

Oh, so Foobar doesn't do Mac then? That's a shame. Useful program too.

You can use wrapper programs such as crossover and wine to run foobar on a mac.
I'm using 10.8.2 and can use foobar. But there are some quirks about it~ ex: in order to convert to flac, I need to install flac on windows, and copy that into where the app runs. Components such as Tak installed just fine, so i'm not sure.
Tak is the only reason why I use foobar. If you're using 10.7, all you need is wine to decode that. (otherwise you need something else)
The most annoying thing about foobar on mac is how it runs. Dealing with files can be annoying. So if you're wanting to tag flac, I recommend Tag (See macupdate.com)

I'm guessing because it's a big file RapidShare isn't allowing me to download it. It gave a "Download permission denied by uploader. (0b67c2f5)" message. Is there any chance to have the second disc on MEGA?

Regardless, thanks for the share. One of my favorite soundtracks from the Zelda series.

Yeah MEGA was being finicky and the 2nd disc upload wasn't finishing the upload. But it finally uploaded; and I've already added the link.
