Ah I see, didn't know it's XX for the SNES one. Indeed confusing.
Anyway my AC did have cue, log and all but seeing as I don't need those I always delete them... But I can always get them again if you need those so much.
So far I'll upload AC + those requested by El Bastardo, should be done this evening so check back in about 8 hours ;)
If anyone wants anything else, feel free to request.

Just wanted to ask: Did I miss them or are you too busy at the moment and did not upload them yet??

Jedilord - Maybe once I've ripped all the CDs I've got and scanned everything I have that is missing from the VGMdb pages. The scans I looked at for this were around 1900x1900px / 200x200mm, so unless there's a quality issue with the DPI used, I don't see it as a priority, sorry.

I received my copy of the Akumajo Dracula Best Music Collections BOX set yesterday and I've gotten around to archiving a couple of the more interesting discs.

I've uploaded Discs 6 and 18 of to MU which are the Symphony of the Night and the arranged tracks discs respectively. They are in FLAC format with cue and log files. The Symphony of the Night disc includes the Master Librarian, Beginning and Bloody Tears tracks from the Saturn version of the game.

Hopefully you don't mind Nisto but I've used one of your posts as a template for this one.

I received my copy of the Akumajo Dracula Best Music Collections BOX set yesterday and I've gotten around to archiving a couple of the more interesting discs.

That's great. I'm looking forward for disc 1, since it contains MSX tracks, it would be memorable to me.

I have experienced problems uploading with FireFox (my main web browser), but it works fine with IE8.

I've heard of the 20th anniversary SaGa box and god do I want it, but unfortunately it just doesn't seem to be ripped yet. Also what I realllllllly want is the breath of fire box. I've been looking for that literally for years.

Wanted to tips you all about this CROWS'CLAW torrent that consists of mostly FLAC. CROWS'CLAW is known for making metal arrangements of Final Fantasy music.

Actually, it was only in a couple of their early albums that they arranged FF music. Since then they did Type-Moon for a couple of albums and now it's mostly Touhou, with a couple of original albums in there as well.

I'm still looking for their album CROW'S CLAW (http://vgmdb.net/album/3632). Would be glad if someone could share that one, if someone has it.

I'm actually looking for that as well. But there are also a couple of other albums that aren't in the torrent: Brutal Games for Reminding of Death, Blacker than the Blackest Black, Original Intention, and Original Intention Plus.

The last 2 are somewhere in this thread, and Blacker isn't that hard to find on torrents, but I have FLACs of Brutal (converted from a .tta rip I found on a torrent, which was a pain in the ass to get), if anyone wants it. It'll just take me a while to find which external drive I have it stored on.

@Medina: Can you upload Chocobo & the Magic Books?

Also, what's this MU system that everyone's using now?

You wouldn't happen to have Final Fantasy X-2 Original Soundtrack, in that case?

I checked disc 1 of the rip I have. Accuraterip makes a big stink about it and calls everything a partial match except for track 11, which it seems to think is accurate somehow, so it's hard to say what is legit. It passes a spectral, and I also checked the #gamemp3s rip which of course didn't. It's possible though that this was ripped from a bootleg, probably meaning it would only a appear to be a lossless copy. It's your choice if you want it or not but maybe you have the same rip (the CRC for disc 1 is F50C910F, see if yours matches). Unfortunately I do not own this soundtrack physically. If you can get Leon to rip his and take some scans of the version he has, then we could make a confirmation. However, if you have a different one and would like mine, I will upload it for you.

Also, I'd like to make a request to Medina: could you upload the OST for Actraiser?

Mine has a borked track 9, so tell me if you still want it. The audio is not by any means accurately ripped.

oh if it has no log or cue, then personally I'm not interested (thanks for the offer though). If other people want it, then you could still upload it, but for me, if a rip doesn't have a cue, it's not worth it =/ It's just something personal of mine, don't bother trying to discuss it with me. again, lossless isn't about listening for me, it's about archiving. Medina made it up in his first post. basically you just take any normal download url from Megaupload and replace it with the IDs that people are giving here. for Medina's you have to use an "f" instead of a "d" because he uses folders. it's hasn't failed yet.

and Espgaluda looks pretty neat, I might have to check it out. it's a shame we don't get some of the vertical shoot 'em ups that Japan gets... makes me want to buy a Japanese PS2 some days :P

BTW, are the Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow OST's in the same quality as the previous release? (meaning with the hissy GBA sound) or is it in better quality?
I can add Disc 3 to my queue but IIRC Nisto is working on that one. He may be finished soon and I would prefer to avoid duplication of effort.

The sound quality of the Aria of Sorrow release sounds about the same. I haven't listened to Harmony of Dissonance so I can't really say.

Yep, definitely. I love logs and accuraterip, but sometimes they can be misleading too (logs not even as much of course). but I have the Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack and when i personally ripped it from a spotless disc, it said "The Successor" was partially accurate (even though EAC and logs said accurately ripped). so I went all over the internet looking different rips, and they were all the exact same way. so SOMETIMES, accuraterip is full of crap :p But it can be a good indicator of quality too and I do still use it on all my rips and downloads.

I said : i tend to replace those who don't have log or cue with those who have them...But i never said i won't take a lossless rip if it doesn't have log or cue ! It's just that if i find a better version of a rip i have, i'll just replace it.
As for the FTP access, it's up to you ^^ I told you, it will be a 1:1 share, you have nothing to lose.

And about that megaupload thing...I found something that surprised me a few days ago but why not.
Someone (not from here) uploaded a file to a filehost that no one use here, but this one doesn't delete "illegal" stuff, since what it hosts is not really legal to begin with.
It may sound weird but well, I'm talking about www.megaporn.com. Yes, this is a filehost too (and not a porn website), and it works exactly as megaupload does, only difference is that you probably won't get your file deleted.
I know it might sounds weird but who cares if it's a good host ?
I'm uploading something, i'll upload the next one on this host to give it a try.

Hello people Im new here I found this forum while googling the new Castlevania Music Box (which Ive been waiting day after day since I heard of it back in December =P ) so excuse me if I say something against the rules but have you considered masking and protecting your donwload links with websites like for example:

I guess there are many more places like that, those 2 are the best ones I can recall right now, you can mask any download link from Rapidshare or Megaupload or whatever and from my own experience links protected that way are not deleted 90% of the time, because file hosting companies usually wash their hands when they can not certify their links are directly posted in a webforum, it is they are not bound to check secondary links by law.

Just my 2 cents and thankyou very much for the awesome music contributions in this forum you ppl rulez.

Wow they really messed up the Symphony of the Night CD in that Castlevania BOX. They left out Prologue (with Richter) and they added the shitty version of Beginning and Bloody Tears. Plus, they left out the bonus track that's only playable on PS1 disc.

Well Ive been using direct downloads for quite a time and I dont remember having to enter any captcha code anywhere.... probably because I always have a big download queue at all time and for me it is more practical to use a multi platform java download manager called Jdownloader (http://jdownloader.org/) which magically decripts and download all those masked links from sites like that.

Also from my time downloading stuff here and there I can certainly say most of the deleted links are not from spider programs but from the own forum users reports to the file hosting companies....

Anyway thanks again for the great work you ppl are doing here.

Also, sorry for not uploading Rhythm Tengoku Complete these past few weeks. I've been very busy with school and I haven't had time to go visit this forum in the duration.

I will get it uploaded and ready by the end of this week. Just need to make sure the tags are all correct. Also, I will be uploading this in TTA format. It is too much of a hassle to split the files around and convert them to FLAC as well. Once again, these files will be split, but in TTA format.

Remember, you can easily convert them with dBPoweramp on Windows and XLD on Mac OS X. Take care guys.

Sorry the Megaupload trick didn't work, but since I had so many files there anyway I thought it was worth a shot. I'm taking note of all requests, and I'll begin to reupload things to a different host. If anybody has a host to request / recommend for me to use, let me know or else I'll just pick one sort of randomly. Also, the more you request, the less priority I'll give you so to speak, just to spread people's requests out more fairly. I'll get around to them though.

Oh, and I will be gone for a few days, so I won't have that opportunity to upload stuff.

Rapidshare isn't that bad even for people without dynamic IP. 1 file per 15 mins isn't bad at all as long as you paste all your links into Jdownlaoder which automaticly takes care of downloading them without needing to press "free" etc.

I could download Disc 1 and 18 from Filebanker very fast and without problem when they were the only ones uploaded, now I can load the donwload page for all the Discs ok but pressing the "Download File" button does nothing, I can only load the page and nothing else.

Rapidshare is usually faster than Megaupload but very leecher unfriendly for those without premium accounts, just the opposite to Megaupload where free users can usually donwload as fast as premium ones (if not always).

Also against popular belief Megaupload is probably the last hosting site where files will be deleted (unless they are blatantly linked and reported), just the opposite to RS where they delete links in a blink without remorse.

Anyway nice job keep it going ppl!

EDIT:
Ok after waiting a few more time like somebody else suggested in the thread all the Filebank links work fine for me, I have downloaded all the Discs at Full Force... errrm I mean at full speed. Im also downloading without problems the other Discs from Hotshare. Again my most sincere and honest thanks to the Castlevania Box uploaders Nisto and Wachedeuzo, Im very happy.

I can't download anything from FileBanker, all files go up to max 3mb then download stops. I even tried using download managers that prevent this problem (Both FlashGet and DownThemAll) but they still failed. FileBanker is simply broken.

Nisto, I may have a proposition for you though, one that might prevent files from getting deleted from MegaUpload, but I need to talk about it on priv.

I have the same problem with FileBanker as others. I was able to get Disc 1,2 and 3 but after that, when I click download file nothing happens. Maybe it has some daily limit of downloads? Though, thanks for all your trouble uploading this Nisto.

Guys... have someone tried ifile.it??? Limit right now is 300 Mb but anyone can divide files (rar for example) to fit...

For what i've seen, right now it works... but i wonder how many time will work ok.. altought i haven't seen major problems with hotshare or filesmelt lately (well... downloading at certain hours of the day...)

No better way to describe this wonder than a review from SEMO:

So, was it worth the wait and the frenzied anticipation? Mostly, yes: the album's varied enough to keep the listener interested during its whole length, while being stylistically coherent enough to avoid jarring transitions. The work that has gone into the arrangement of the suites and single tracks is massive and the majority of them are skillfully composed, establishing a natural flow when moving from one theme to the next. Several of these arrangements are nothing less than spectacular: the suites and re-interpretations of music from AFRIKA, Chrono Cross, Shadow of the Colossus, Laputa, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are deeply impressive and up there with the best that orchestral game and anime music has to offer. Even lesser suites such as those from Astro Boy and Tsubasa Chronicles fail to greatly impress not because of an inherent lack of quality — they're highly entertaining works in and of themselves — but rather because they're surrounded by sterling arrangements of other works which simply outshine them. Apart from the occasional, slight slip in intonation or rhythmic accuracy, the orchestra's playing is polished and remains impressive throughout the album.

Unfortunately, it's difficult to overlook the recording's two major flaws. Far too often, the choir falls behind the rest of the ensemble in terms of technical proficiency (and isn't always served well by the album's recording quality). It's hardly a game breaker most of the time, but still, the choir's insecurities in intonation have the potential to impact the impression the music makes on the listener, most notably in the case of the Death Note suite. A comparison with the technically more accomplished Symphonic Fantasies concert series may be somewhat unfair — given that the WDR Radio Orchestra and Choir are state-funded institutions with an illustrious performance history reaching back several decades — but what ultimately counts is the end result that the interested fan pays for when she buys the recording. Furthermore, not all of the suites meet the standards of the majority of the concert's arrangements: the Gears of War 2 suite is mostly bland, and the collection of themes from Princess Mononoke — it's really just that — is downright uninspired. The fact that both suites are more than 10 minutes long hurts the flow of the album considerably.

But despite these weaknesses, A Night in Fantasia 2009 is easily worth purchasing just for the highlights mentioned above and ultimately offers about 80 minutes of good to seriously amazing music. This is for a more than reasonable price — currently, the two disc set is priced at just $19.95 on the Eminence Symphony Orchestra's website. It's certainly a must-buy for fans of orchestral game and anime music and a confirmation of the Eminence Symphony Orchestra position in the market, but not quite the revelation it aims to be.

It still makes me sad why I was banned from waffles. (I spoke up against a banning of another user who broke no rules and who was banned over an 'unwritten rule' which in turn got me banned too..)

Oh well I have UG anyway and I might see if I can get an invite to what.cd from a friend of mines, but I have no idea if the staff are more professional there or not.
